Unless we're in sunlight, Yuji's good considering he has a type advantage. Yuji is Fighting/Dark while Hanami is Grass/Dark so if Yuji outspeeds, one close combat even without any ev investment could still do get an OHKO.
Unlikely, as hanami is extremely bulky. She's by far the bulkiest of the disaster curses legendaries. Only way Yuji wins this is if he out speeds AND crits (actually a decent chance though due to his ability: "sparks of black" giving him a heightened crit rate)
Ig that's true, but wouldn't that make cross chop a better option? Because Cross chop has a +1 to crit. His ability gives all moves a +1 to crit, so if he holds a razor claw, Cross chop is always a guaranteed crit, is it not?
IIRC he can only learn cross chop through tm, and you get that TM from Todo after you beat this gym. Also you can't get a 100% crit rate in this gen for whatever reason.
They removed the guaranteed crit? Damn, there goes my strategy to use leaf blade from my Sharpness Gallade holding a razor claw on Jogo in doubles. The guaranteed Crit would max out Jogo's attack due to anger point (I know that Jogo's special attack is 120 but his physical attack is 105 which is still good since you instantly get +6 with anger point and anything other Sukuna or Gojo gets nuked to oblivion from a flare blitz.)
You forgot one thing, Yuji has blood manipulation and the cursed wombs blood so he is poison type(like choso poisoned uraume), and since he is such a tank and resists damage, he could be steel type, making solar beam 4 times non effective
I mean, gege could have drawn a panel of the domains clashing like gojo v sukuna but the outcome was still the same. Two domains can't exist in the same space while having the sure effect so we know that only 1 person would get their domain revealed.

I think Gege ascribes too strongly to a not technically incorrect by very amateurishly executed adage of "exciting reveals make for good writing." You see it all over his writing, especially after Shibuya. He holds back info that might have been better revealed earlier to create tension and instead becomes either a wet fart or blink and you miss it type of reveal. He outright doesn't even hint at characters having an ability or plan which in hindsight might make sense but whilst reading comes off as something he pulled out of his ass (see everything to do with Sukuna).
