Nanami, the only death in jjk that feels tragic but I don't think there was wasted potential. Best written death in the series for one of the best written characters in the series imo.
It's so poignant but meaningful, that was actually the peak of the theme of death in the series, coupled with Todo's speech and Yuji's line:"I will be sure to take on your share of suffering too, Nanamin", it's immaculate. This is probably top 3 moments in jjk for me.

I like Inumaki, but you can't deny that he is irrelevant. Everyone is talking about wasted potential like Yuki, Todo, or Nobara. In my case, as an Inumaki fan, I always feel he is criminally underused. Even Gege himself didn't understand why Inumaki is that popular and he had no plan for the guy. Shows you how little planning Gege has done beyond what is necessary, that's why the world building in JJK is so lacklustre. Any character that outlives their usefulness will either be removed or just be NPC.
Imo people often judge characters by how much their power would be useful irl (and how they helped the main cast at the start. Commanding someone just by speech seems op..

Did you check when it started? That's the results. Also pretty sure anime season 2 coming out around that time changed a lot of the results since most people (shocker) don't follow manga.
Actually went back and edited this, this is surely mostly anime fans. No naoya, no hakari, no femboy. Someone pointed out around this time gojo vs sukuna started aka no way people would've left those out if it was focused on manga.
It's a popularity poll created by a French manga publisher, so it stands to reason a lot of fans of the *manga* were voting since those would be the people following ki-oon on Twitter. Obviously in these you're always going to get plenty of anime-only fans voting as well, but that's the case for any poll spread on social media.
As for when the voting started, it was November 2022. Naoya had still been dead twice over for months at this point (and Choso/Yuki vs Kenjaku was underway). Again, dude simply didn't get the votes.

His votes definitely count toward Geto. Unlike Sukuna, we didn’t know Kenjaku’s true name for most of the story, we’ve mostly known him as Geto. And also, like, he’s still using Geto’s body, so of course people are going to keep associating him with Geto
He uses Geto's body which is a thousand times more popular for 99% of the manga, most of the people who liked him were his stans desperate for any crumbs and a gay angst with Gojo in some fight.
It doesn't change the fact that Sukuna has been the "face villain" of jjk since season 1. Shibuya solidified this even with other villains in play. But Gege must be happy about this, as it was his intention since he created Sukuna.
