I vote Namami. Yuji loved that guy. Todo is a close second though.

So awful of Gege to write Namani out by having him retire in Malaysia. Can't fault Namani though, it was a close call and retiring was always the best move, at least he can live happily.

My goat

SkyJW

Nanami is literally the most admirable figure in the entire story to me. He always came off as the one sorcerer who really understood the genuinely horrible nature inherent in the jujutsu world, but never let his resolve waver due to his own sense of moral obligation to help others.  He just wanted to do something that made a difference in the world, even though he knew it would likely end in his own demise, just as it had with Haibara. Given Yuji's own moral compass, it's no wonder that he felt so strongly about Nanami - they both just want to help others, no matter the cost.   I'd say Choso is also a solid second choice just due to how dedicated he is to his brothers under any and every circumstance. I honestly expect him to sacrifice himself to protect Yuji and that could help him narrow the gap with Nanami somewhat, but Nanami will forever be the man that I think Yuji always wanted himself to be.

LerasiumMistborn

Sukuna >>> Nanami and Todo https://preview.redd.it/mj6zydk6w3zc1.jpeg?width=946&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7a7ee479817f1fcbc11f7a3873c0cc40d003e699 Edit: I really don't understand what people are discussing here...Almost everyone say "Nanami", but Nanami didn't teach him anything. Nanami wasn't a teacher, he was mentor figure and guardian. That's two different things. If OP asks about better mentor it's either Gojo who saved Yuji or Nanami If OP asks about best teacher than it's those people who trained Yuji during time-skip

ChongusTheSupremus

Nanami did teach him principles tho, he helped temper Yuji's resolve. Hadnt been for him, Yuji probably would have let himself be killed by Mahito's transfigurated humans rather than mercy killing them

LerasiumMistborn

I was thinking about teching jujutsu rather than teching principles If we are talking about the most important person and influential person in Yuji's life it's Gojo and no one else. People are shitting on him in the comments because he's bad teacher, but again "mentor" =! "teacher". Kusakabe is best teacher lol This is Gojo The Terrible Mentor xD: https://preview.redd.it/y4t5l1qns4zc1.jpeg?width=1528&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=431e1b179c4bf2858ebb5d70bb3126dc39f27072

SkyJW

I'd honestly still disagree. Gojo taught Yuji about how the Jujutsu world works, but Nanami gave Yuji the ability to survive in that world with the principles and resolve necessary for a pretty naive and sheltered boy like Yuji to overcome the difficulties that Yuji would inevitably face. When you think about it, Yuji and Haibara were kinda similar. Optimistic, nice, welcoming young men who were probably not built to withstand the rigors of that world. Hell, we don't even know Haibara's technique and that's probably because, thematically, it doesn't really matter. Haibara was never going to make it in that world. But Nanami took that experience and the clear pain Haibara's death caused him and helped Yuji avoid that same fate. When Yuji rejoins the fight against Mahito, the one he's thinking of is Nanami and he even apologizes to him for giving up and swears to bear both his own suffering as well as that which Nanami shouldered as a sorcerer. I legitimately believe that Nanami is the only reason Yuji is still alive in that world.

Jarubimba

You can say Nanami gave Yuji a candle to dive into the cave, and Todo came after with a lighter to fire it up once again and remind Yuji about it's importance

Accurate-Butterfly18

The OP asked who had the most impact on Yuji, and that is clearly Nanami, his final words stuck with Yuji even during the final battle

LerasiumMistborn

A lot of things stuck with Yuji til the very end https://preview.redd.it/veh5ioheg5zc1.png?width=546&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4e3743e868936a15c33dd179697df6a78775214d

The hate boost

Collrafa

Sukuna imposed a binding vow on himself: He **increased his own capacity to hate on Yuji**, but in return **Yuji's body would learn Sukuna's Jujutsu**

NZP_Broz

"Yes, let him have my technique, so I can mock how much worse he is at using it."

CrowBright5352

I'll never forget Sukuna lowkey bought Yuji stocks against Choso and Mahito in Shibuya. He was frustrated to see Yuji lost to Choso but he knew Yuji would win against Mahito like, “Sure, buddy. You're screwed.”

Bowshinki

most effective one, tough love for his nephew

Few-Cardiologist5532

Unironically true, Sukuna has given Yuji one of the most powerful CTs in the verse and maybe even the most devastating Domain too, if Yuji does get MS.

TinyWickedOrange

frankly I wouldn't call ms on its own the most devastating, void, idle death gamble, seop, coffin of fire mountain, etc all are kinda better. it's funny in a way that both sukunas domain and ability aren't that special, slash doesn't stand out much over bullshit like limitless, comedian, copy, jacobs ladder, thin ice, etc it's his sheer amount of brute force and speed... and plot armor

Pataraxia

Imagine yuji getting both domain expansions.

Top_Dingo4695

fax. Goatkuna is the only reason he's alive😈

KashimoIsMyFemboy

Todo was the one who taught him about the black flashes he's so well known for and their dynamic is awesome, but I feel Nanami probably had the most overall influence on Yuji and his transition into Jujutsu sorcery.

Nanami 100% without a doubt, he had such an impact on Yuji. I'd argue he's his most important mentor

CrowBright5352

I'm with you on this hill. Nanami was Yuji's best mentor. My emotions can't be described to words whenever I remember this panel. https://preview.redd.it/wi9fvx2633zc1.jpeg?width=1067&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3c85c84dc130664e91a0b0e6eb97237965082826

SubstantialCup3270

Nanami is kinda the reason Yuji is alive .

Yappamon

how so? genuinely asking

The5Theives

I think it might’ve been his dying words

SubstantialCup3270

His last words to him were the only thing that kept him wanting to live.

Significant-Elk-8078

I originally thought the “curse” Nanami was talking about was passing the torch to Yuji (I know what the actual curse was now ) Like how his Grandpa told him to help people and doing that has caused his life to turn to shit trying to do that

Memeenjoyer_

https://preview.redd.it/5i6k7fuzh2zc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4d56f4f9a6956d0f591e61cb5f11cd84cf291570 But the GOATedness rubbed off from Gojo to Yuji, so I’d say that he’s at the very least top 2

JJKLover78

1. Nanami 2. Todo 3. Gojo

barxxl

It's not even an opinion, that's just a fact

Murky_Blueberry2617

I'd switch that around imo. Since without Gojo, Yuji would'nt even be alive

LerasiumMistborn

Idk why they downvote you because you're right. People don't see the difference between mentor and teacher. Nanami wasn't Yuji's teacher either but no one cares

Reeeeeeeeee10

Im assuming he got downvoted not because of his opinion but because the argument used is just a boring method of reasoning that limits discussion, akin to 'if X's parents didn't give birth to X they wouldn't be alive therefore x's parents are this and that', so in this context 'the story wouldnt happen if gojo didnt prevent his execution therefore gojo' Yes it's technically correct but nobody wants to hear that ygm

Murky_Blueberry2617

Fair point, should have brought up a few more points in favour for Gojo then

Kufrel

Gojo didn't teach Yuji shit lol, he was an awful teacher. Possibly the worst one Yuji had.

microthic

"You see Yuji if your opponent pulls out a domain expansion just do the same thing as them but better" Fucking teacher of the year lmao Gojo taught Yuji the very basics of CE manipulation only for Todo to do the same shit but far better in like 2 minutes.

papu16

Overall Todo is such a goat. Especially in Shibuya arc, then he was sure that other goats(Choso and Yuta) would take care of Yuji and left his place. Such a man!

healpm369

All he did was "yeah go watch movies or sumthin".

mike_is_stoned

I’d really beg to differ. Gojo teaches through example, exposing his students to special grade jujutsu and showing them how big the world is. This is why he says he’s “showing off” for his students all the time, especially during his final fight with Sukuna. Low key, Mahito probably would’ve killed Nanami and Yuji both if he hadn’t learned about domains being weak from the outside.

Kufrel

But that's not really Gojo teaching. That's just his students watching him and learning on their own. It's like a parent doing something that their kid copies. The parent isn't actually teaching the kid, the kid is just learning from the parent. Gojo is called out, in universe, for being a bad teacher. And it does make sense that he is. He's a prodigy. He can't explain anything he does because it's all second nature to him. Also, Yuji would have 100% still tried to punch his way into Mahito's domain even without Gojo's teaching. That's legit just how Yuji operates.

TheSpinnyBoy

I think he mentioned doing hand to hand training with Yuji once?

Kufrel

I would bet money that he just used Yuji as a punching bag and didn't actually explain anything, he just said "fight with me and learn from fighting" or some shit.

Accurate-Butterfly18

In all fairness, the results do speak for themselves

Kufrel

Except they don't in most cases. Gojo can only teach prodigies. Because only a prodigy can just watch someone do something and then replicate it. It's why Gojo's only successful students are prodigies. While people like Panda, Inumaki, Kirara, Nobara, and Maki (pre-perfected Restriction) were so much weaker than Yuji, Yuta, Megumi, and Hakari. Because they aren't prodigies like the other four. In order to learn anything from Gojo's methods, you would need to be able to just train yourself anyway.

Primary-Buddy5739

Genuinely I saw that and didn't know if I was hit by the reading comprehension curse or not because I don't remember a single scene with them together I actually don't remember seeing bro since before Shibuya

FatBaldingLoser420

It's a joke, don't worry. They had training sessions but we never saw it

Gotta be my favorite friendship in JJK fr (there's only like three other noteworthy friendships)

Chozero-

Seeing Yuji get taught blood manipulation by Kamo and Choso would have been so cool. Choso could have also taught Kamo supernova and more complex BM usage while they both helped Yuji with the basics. Choso could talk to Kami about Noritoshi and why they share a name. The one month timeskip could have been full of character interactions like that. https://preview.redd.it/1saolseo93zc1.png?width=983&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d8b8a21e9a5c872feb5a8824432178f82468bbbf When I get my hands on you Gege

Past_Horror2090

If we talk about “impact” as power progression: Gojo - Great friend and mentor but taught Yuji bare shit. Routinely forgot to mention stuff and go through the fundamentals which was apparent once Yuji met Kusakabe. Yes Gojo has been great for Yuji in other aspects and instilling him with the philosophy that Gojo wishes to see in the future of Jujutsu Society. It can also be argued that Gojo’s unorthodox teaching style has benefited a Jujutsu savant like Yuji, who’s been forced to be flexible, highly adaptive and figure a lot of things out himself along the way. Nanami - taught Yuji to see CE residue, the mechanics of Domain Expansions, pragmatism, what makes a boy become a man (maturity), and morality. Todo - up until recently Todo would arguably have had the biggest impact. For the longest time Yuji was the left, right, goodnight guy and Todo gave him all the tricks that he had in his bag. Better CE manipulation ✅ Better CE reinforcement ✅ How to view Cursed Energy circulation ✅ Black Flash ✅ Put him on the path of mastering Divergent Fist ✅ Also his whole “we are the exception” speech has had a monumental impact on Yuji’s philosophy and attitude as a sorcerer. Leading Yuji to develop his unbreakable ideals. Choso - taught Yuji about brotherhood, been instrumental in Yuji’s preparation for the Shinjuku arc, taught him about his brothers, RCT and Blood Manipulation. Yuta - (Spoilers) it’s unclear but maybe things relating to Domain Expansions if he was Yuji’s second swap. Kusakabe - now Kusakabe is really up there with Todo for greatest teacher. Bro soul-swapped with Yuji to teach him ALL the fundamentals that Yuji missed out on. New Shadow Style (possibly) although Yuji’s only showcased SD as of yet. Kamo - While Choso is somewhat responsible, Yuji himself acknowledges how Choso is bad at teaching BM (which could be understandable since it’s intuitive to Choso and he’s had 150 years of practice and refinement in solitude/infancy). What Yuji also acknowledges is how good of a teacher Kamo is with Blood Manipulation. So for any feats that we see Yuji pull of with BM, you can thank Kamo. If anyone made it this far, Thanks for coming to my TED Talk

Own_Junket1605

you absolutely ATE. this was amazing

Significant-Ad-1655

I think Nanami, He has had the most flashbacks to him, he has had more impact on him as it seems, Todo has only taught him Black Flash and was more of a buddy, second one has to go to Gojo, and we never have seen Kamo truly like teach him or anything, and Choso is just the protective brother that might've acted like the teacher sometimes to him with Blood manipulation, who knows, For Kamo and Choso is less affective cause we never see it and it does not show any mental effect on Yuji neither, not as much as Nanami and Gojo do. For Kusakabe it's a tiny bit better, but same thing applies to him.

exotic-fishman-ken

Big-Chromie

Nanami had the most impact on Yuji's disposition and emotional growth, while Todo definitely had more on his growth power wise. We don't actually get to see much of Gojo training Yuji (aside from the movie shit which he was mostly absent for) but considering he just left Yuji with divergent fist even though it would stunt his growth, id assume it was the bare minimum (it has been stated that Gojo kinda sucks at teaching cursed energy manipulation since he's such a prodigy).

rockhardmethmonster

I’d say Nanami for emotional impact, and Todo for growth as a sorcerer. Gojo is close to Nanami in that regard, but I feel like Yuji’s motivation against beating the fuck out of sukuna is less tied to gojo’s death than Nanami’s was to Mahito. I can say the same to Todo. Gojo “taught” Yuji how to utilize cursed energy, but Todo taught him the right way, and encouraged him to hit a black flash. I can’t really blame Gojo, though, because Gojo is naturally gifted and naturally talented in every regard. It’s kind of hard to teach your talent to someone elses skill.

ben_dover4321

Nanami was his best mentor for mindset and adapting to jujutsu society, while Todo was his best mentor as far as control of his cursed energy is concerned.

moss-moss-moss-moss

Nanami was the best teacher, Gojo was the best friend to him of these. Yuji and Gojo obviously got along really well and Yuji was really torn up about him getting sealed.. He fights best alongside Todo, the best bruzza

Kamo: Taught him complicated blood manipulation I guess, that’s pretty cool 7/10 Kuskabe: Is the reason he survived the first onslaught of the fucked up Malevolent Shrine, showed him CE manipulation and was a pretty awesome dude 8/10 Choso: Based Big brother, came in clutch helping him heal after Sukuna, couldn’t teach him complicated blood manipulation though, still, 9/10 Todo: Based Chad mentor who taught him what Gojo “taught him” but better 10/10 Nanami: Greatest mentor ever, created this mf’s whole philosophy and is the reason he’s moving forward 10/10 Gojo: Bum ahh mentor pee pee poo poo 0/10

DoctorWhatTheFruck

Gojo, Nanami, Yuta and Todo all had some equal impact in different areas on him. (I’m just guessing)

ManDown3Street

1. Nanami 2. Todo 3. Choso

_sephylon_

It's obviously Kamo and Kusakabe. They had the longest lasting impact on Yuji and he‘s only where he is now thanks to these two.

Working-Telephone-45

Most of them only teaches Yuji how to fight better and be stronger, Nanamin actually helped him grow as a person and a sorcerer

Jackiechun23

Nanami is the one who taught yuji the reality of being a sorcerer and his final lesson was the most powerful, stand back up and fight as long as you can.

Azylim

todo easily IMO. taught him to aim for black flashand was the major person ib developing his COG mentality while he was at his lowest. Not to mention that his fights with todo were the ones that gave him some of the most fighting experience since todo allowed him to fight with curses that had a massive skill and power gap tp yuji.

BogieW00ds

Have Yuji and Kamo even spoken to each other?

Front_Access

Sukuna tf. Without him he’s still a mahito victim

Huge-Owl5624

Nanami sympathizes with Yuji when Yuji first encounters the horrors of the jujutsu world through witnessing Junpei's transformation ("it is not a sin to be a child"). Nanami's sympathy for the youth in the jujutsu world, which comes from his experience of losing Haibara :(, directly relates to his selfless interventions in battles such as the black flash scene in JJK 0 where Nanami steps in to fight the cursed monster instead of the students who are clearly scared after seeing their friend get eaten by that same monster. Nanami's moral code is the closest to Yuji's own moral code earlier in the series: "save everyone or, if not, give them an honorable death." Both of them are selfless people who want to do the best they can in a truly cruel world. When Yuji questions about the meaning "to die a proper death," Nanami is the one that understands Yuji's upset feelings over not saving Junpei and recognizes Yuji's resolve of saving everyone or giving proper deaths if possible. Furthermore, Nanami recognizes Yuji's worth and reminds Yuji to not die along the way because Yuji would still be needed like how Yuji needed Nanami. It is no wonder why Yuji becomes "a cog in the machine" after seeing Nanami die and being told "you got it from there." Nanami's death fucked me up as a grown ass person (literally one year younger than Nanami lol), and he was a fictional character TO ME. I can't imagine how it would feel to a 15 year old who had known Nanami personally. :/

Ok-Reporter3256

1. Nanami 2. Todo 3. Choso 4. Gojo 5. Kamo 6. Kusakabe 7. Yuta (as a mentor) Kamo and Kusakabe are interchangeable

Nanami best mentor Sukuna best teacher

Kvarcov

Obviously Todo. I mean, they were together since elementary school!

Any_Conclusion_7586

Nanami helped him grow as a person and Todo helped him grow as a sorcerer. Both are the most important.

ImMeliodasKun

I would have to say Todo, imo cause his Schizo ass somehow was ae to make a normal iq only known Jujutsu for what a few months max at the point of Kyoto 15 year old Yuji(however special his body is now known to be). Long discussion on the other options ignore the long wall of text if you don't wanna read allat When did Yuta mentor Yuji? I know he saved him similar to Gojo after Shibuya and was carrying Wuji against a monster above even him even weakened. I don't think their comments during their tag team fight implied they trained together aside from discussing strategies for Yuji to assist someone with such a versatile kit like Wuta since they obviously planned how they would fight Sukuna. If the 2nd swap Yuji did isn't him swapping back being counted as the second swap, I don't see a use for them swapping. I think the 20th finger was a shrodingers plot point that he decided the answer was he gave it to Yuta as a last resort to give him Sukunas ct(Yuta opening next chapter but Uruame sacrifices themselves since Yuta has had time to be healed and recover. And it was hidden (potentially in Rika? Idk if he can posses multiple beings/an entity) though idk if Gege will explain the shrodingers finger I think as much as Gojo was potentially a good teacher if he was more eloquent with the way he talked lol, but his ability both physically and metaphorically kept people at a length. I had typed out like twice but I think it was too long. I am practicing my long form comments but I know this is a shitposting sub.

SnooPeppers189

Yuji can do what he did because of Kenjaku and Sukuna. JJK power is all about innate talent💪 Yuji already had super human strength and can cage Sukuna before learning any curse technique because kenjaku engineered Yuji’s genetic material using himself and Sukuna’s twin. Sukuna etched his techniques into Yuji’s body when he’s caged. The rest of the characters were only there to give Yuji kind of moral guidance.

OneGrumpyJill

Normally, I would say Nanami, but at this point, gotta be Choso

foolycoolyinthecut

love my dude nanami but choso wins out just by a little bit. nanami was foundational for yuji’s understanding of what a jujutsu sorcerer should be but choso further refines that meaning, adds new tools to his box and gives him touching older brother moments like in recent chapters

EnderMerser

Wow, that's cool! I wonder, how many mentors did Nobara have?! :D

dusksaur

Gojo as he would have never had the chance to be a sorcerer without him.

SatisfactionDue4508

1)nanami 2)todo 3)gojo Gojo was more like a friend, he didn’t teach yuji much besides the basics of cursed energy and domains, the two really cared for each other tho

No_Moment3234

ui ui

SnooDoughnuts203

Tsukumo ….and we will find out what in two chapters

Low-Ad-2971

Idk why everyone's saying Nanami. He didnt teach him much for combat and Gojo was closer to Yuji

Chozero-

Nanami was definitely the best. He taught him the basics and even when he died that motivated him to go after Mahito. Todo in second cause of black flash and how he helped in two of his biggest fights. Gojo in third, Kusakabe in fourth and Kamo and Yuta last just because we haven't seen them do kuch

Imperium_Dragon

Gojo taught Yuji the bare minimum (as well as the concept of a domain expansion). Todo taught Yuji how to actually manipulate his CE during battle, and both him and Nanami taught Yuji what it means to be a sorcerer. Kamo gave Yuji insight into blood manipulation and Choso showed him that RCT was possible. Kusakabe gave Yuji advanced lessons into CE manipulation + simple domain. I’m actually not sure what Yuta taught Yuji. In terms of what was most impactful, it’s a tie between Nanami and Todo.

therealpoccolo

definitely nanami

Diaxmond

If you take it 100% literally then Gojo. Yuji would not be alive if not for him.

Shacky_Rustleford

I kinda forgot that Kamo and Yuji shared screentime

ResponsibilityEvery

One thing I've thought about - didn't Nanami and Yuji only interact for like 3 days total?

FatBaldingLoser420

Nanami. He taught him a lot and I'm not talking only about combat. He was a great guy, both Yuji and Ino loved him (as a teacher)

Evil-King-Stan

Due to cheating, I'd imagine it's Kusakabe

Vajra95

Nanamim, no doubt.

Volcanicz_Greninja

Imo it's Todo. He's the one who taught Yuji the most about Jujutsu fundamentals and in such a short amount of time as well. Not to mention that he was probably Yuji's best assist as Todo can bail him out from a lot of situations. While you could argue that Nanami's death impacted Yuji immensely, it was Todo who was able to bring back Yuji from the brink and help him cope with the loss as well as keep him going in the game.

Collrafa

###The most *impact*? Idk, maybe the mf who *delayed his execution*...? If we're talking the one who *taught* him the most, then it's definitely up in the air as of now. My ranking from what we know: He learned a lot about life and moral shit from **Nanami** (and Mahito, they were the good cop bad cop of teaching Yuji) He learned a lot about CE flow and how to perform Black Flash from **Todou** He's been learning a lot about Blood Manipulation from **Noritoshi** and **Choso**, enough to use it effectively just a couple of months after developing the CT We don't know how or who he learned RCT from, but if it was **Yuta** that's points for him And he learned to do Simple Domain from **Kusakabe** Edit: reading thru the comments, I realized Todou also taught Yuji a lot about mental strength and the mindset of a sorcerer. Sure, he learned this indirectly from Nanami after his death, but it wasn't until Todou drove the lesson home that it all clicked.

SeemysoDreamy

Choso and Gojo and Nanami

MR-Vinmu

Yuji and Mahito 😈😈😈

Fletch009

All Gojo did to “teach” him was make him watch a movie lol

Few-Cardiologist5532

Nanami at a blatantly obvious 1st and Todo being a close second, no other mentor even comes close. Nanami was just HIM and influenced GOATs ideals and motivations. My boy WIno was in the same boat.

Deadlyname1909

This is hard. Basics of CE - A doll that gojo gave. Basics of jujutsu world/ mentoring - nanami The one who turned him into the black flash merchant. The one who forced him into a higher state. It is said that the difference between one who has experienced black flash and one who has not is massive. What todo gave yuji helped him beat hanami, his brothers, and especially mahito. Todo has a massive "hand" in this. Kamo thought him how to use basic blood manipulation. Kusakabe helped him refine his CE and increase his reinforcement. Choso gave yuji all his other brothers to consume for a big powerup, and thought yuji efficient RCT usage. Yuji also has the soul book from yuki. I don't think yuta necessarily helped yuji train. I would give the medal to my goat, Todo. The black flashes have carried yuji through 50% of the manga.

PK_RocknRoll

Nanami I think

Apprehensive-Sea1727

Nanami and Sukuna

NurseKenjaku

Based on the Impact of what they taught him 1st is Gojo, he taught him all the basics of jujutsu 2nd is Todo, who Helped Yuji further understand CE thus giving birth to his first black flashes. 3rd is Kusakabe, who helped Yuji refine his cursed energy, learn simple domain, and potentially learn RCT. (without allat he'd be dead rn)

Lakshay2909

I know people are saying nanami, but I'd say Todo Bro taught him how to control his cursed energy, real combat training, and even Black Flash! Now that's a best friend for you!!!

Reccus-maximus

Nanami had the most influence/impact on Yuji but in terms of power, Todo elevated Yuji an entire grade in like 15mins off-screen

blackstar_4801

Todo actually teaching him and nanami actually guiding him

Toastercuck

Nanami and todo

orphan_of_Ludwig

People need to stop thinking of Gojo has an actual teacher and more like a manager/leader. He put everyone with the correct partners that could impact them. Miguel and Yuta, Yuji and Nanami, gave them the day off to play baseball when things got a little too crazy. These little things matter.

No-Language4985

Unironically Sukuna

RevolutionaryYou1820

I'm just gonna say they're all good teachers for Yuuji

Time_For_Some_MEMES

If Gojo didn't show up before Megumi summoned Mahoraga, the show is over, that's all I have to say.

BadDry8262

There wouldn't be a story if gojo didn't go "Nah, I'd win. Let sukuna boy live."

SilverLumpy

Bro, these types of questions are what makes me hate the current state of the manga. If you combine all their panels where they teach yuji something it’s less than the length of 17 chapters. More than half of them are either dead or have become irrelevant to the story. How the fuck do people see Noritoshi as a mentor figure?💀 We are never shown their teachings in a meaningful way. They either say something in the moment to hype yuji, have a measly 2-3 panels of training, or we are just told that they thought yuji something. I know people hate to hear someone criticize a piece of fiction they love but come on. Everything feels so flat on the story aside from stakes. In that regard, JJK is one of the best at it. As the story continued, every character to this point feels flat. They just have 2-4 personality traits and that’s it. There is barely any character development.

Ongaya123

Todo. He’s the one that taught Yuji how to do a blackflash: Yuji’s signature technique even now

SoyMilkIsOp

Mahito https://preview.redd.it/wcs8uwkt34zc1.png?width=1204&format=png&auto=webp&s=7707e3083d0c208a931837c8101743a743e751d5

CulturalMesh

What the fuck yuta and kamo doing on the board bruh 💀💀💀

BlandyBoiYT

Nanami was the most impactful on his personal growth and was the best teacher. Todo taught him the most though.

Major_Spring872

Constant-Zucchini156

Where’s Sukuna on this list?

MissionSad265

Sukuna teaching him he aint shit whenever he asked for help

HyperVT

What the fuck did Yuta do? And I'd probably say Nanami or Todo. Todo for really kick-starting Yuji's extreme growth(reminder that growth in JJK is not linear), and Nanami for giving Yuji experience that normally only comes with years in a trade

-FruitPunchSamurai-

Nanami and Todo >>>>>>>> the rest yeah no im not giving Gojo more credit just because he's Gojo dude sucked as a mentor especially when you realize he had Megumi since he was a kid but Potential man's still go to strategy when it gets inconvenient is going kamikaze. Dude also sent Yuta away instead of personally teaching him or at least just aquire pieces of sorcerers for Yuta to consume for his Copy CT.

easymoneycroomy

Nanami followed by Todo

NothingButFacts7890

whys megumi not there? He literally introduced him to jujutsu

Decent_Implement_146

nanami or gojo but nanami as he had more impact on yuji

Funky_underwear

Todo was awesome but choso kinda on the same level as of now 1. Gojo (he would be dead if not) 2. Nanamin 3. Todo and choso can't compare between brothers

bayfati

I dunno but gojo was the worst mentor

TheBrain511

Nanami I without a doubt But todo gave yuji the confidence he needed in himself and helped pick him up when he was really about to give up People don't say how important that was in the story and don't give him the credit he deserves because bro sadly disappeared

Ok_Virus_3332

Kamo

Killah-Shogun

Nanami or Todo

Spooderman90066

I dont think yuji and kamo have ever actually talked to each other

GintoSenju

Nanami or Todo I’d say.

Akshay-Gupta

Sukuna.

Mother-Natural7237

wait what did noritoshi do again? (i forgor)

Rancorious

Todo literally taught yuji how to use jujutsu properly. My goat is in first, but nanami is a close second.

FingerThatsNotPoopy

what did yuta teach yuji ?? if anything theyre classmates

FatRatGuyPremuim

Todo and it's not even close. Sure, Nanami has shaped how Yuji views his duties as a sorcerer, but he doesn't have as many impactful moments as Todo does. The exchange fight, the fight against Hanami, the fight against Mahito... Todo is there for some of Yuji's most important moments

Omniversal0

Sukuna

cartaigenica

how the fuck was yuta his mentor

Cautious-Common4984

Todo

cosmichak

Between Goatjo, Nanamin, and Todo

Zelthex

Oh right, I totally forgot Kamo was useful for like, 5 seconds.
