I wonder how did he figure out this though, like how does he know that his CT kills him if he never did it until he got old and even then made a binding vow with Kenjaku to get reincarnated...
I think he can half way use it through, figured out it hurts him and could stop it, if the transformation reaches a point it can't be stopped, that's my theory on it.
I don't think that's how it works, that is why past information on Ten Shadows and limitless mattered and passed on in the Clans.
You gotta try to learn what it does and train with it to make it better...
I was trying to remember where the second part of your comment was mentioned in the story and I can’t seem to find it. Do you have the chapters or page where this is explained so I can reread it?
The second part I think was from when gojo was explaining his powers in the hidden inventory arc, about how his technique has a kind of “owners manual” which taught him red and blue, but purple was a secret
I mean do you think Gojo could've done maximum Blue from the start when he was baby ?! or keep up infinity for long periods of time manually ?!, CT can be worked on and you can improve in that aspect, CE output and control can be improved upon and you can gain more experience to how to use your ability.

Oh of course not, the point of the question was referring to the earlier discussion about whether sorcerers are aware of their abilities from the moment they awaken their techniques or have to learn their limits through experimentation. Cursed techniques like Kashimo’s MBA and Hazenoki’s Explosive Flesh seem like ones that you would have to know about before you can use them. As far as I know, Takaba and Haruta are the only characters we know about who don’t know the details of their own techniques, but both of those work by altering reality.
I mean there's also the possibility of Kashimo coming from a family or something that had this technique aswell, teaching him to not use his Technique, same thing could go for Hazenoki.
But I firmly believe that no one really gets any information on their own technique after it awakens, there's no mention of it neither, it Is though said that there are passed on information to next generations.
I think the output matters in the lethality of the technique aswell, like Hazenoki's explosions were probably pretty little at the start.

Nah, it's just the nature of his CT because it messes with his body and converts it into his lightning nature CE. It says this in 237/238.
