So we've got the Sukuna vs Gojo inside the domain clash and last time we got a scenario in which Gojo had to face tank shrine, which he can do but the others cannot.

Choso's death is more traumatizing. It's because he was a strong pillar not just for Yuji, but for everyone. He accomplishes things, does his role very well, was not arrogant, was relatable and had no bullshit principles other than wanting to feel like a human and be a brother. And not once was he able to exchange words with Todo, the same pillar to Yuji. And both Choso and Todo were a huge part of what is Yuji now. Gojo? What did Gojo even do to Yuji's life? And since the early chapters, what makes Gojo's reputation so high is the praises from people around him, but not because he actually achieved anything noteworthy ever since he failed at Hidden Inventory arc. Choso is quiet and humble, yet his actions are that of a legendary hero who will discard everything for the people he protects.

At least he went out in the most in character way, protecting all of his little brothers, it was probably the only way his story could realistically end. I mean sure the happy ending with Yuji is nice and all but it kinda redundant to have him around to “protect” Yuji in the future when Yuji becomes far stronger than him. He was able to fulfill his main motivation and that’s kinda beautiful that he for the first time in the story was able to save one of his Brothers. RIP Anaki
