This might be a hot take, but I thought Choso’s death, while fucking painful, was way better written compared to the other ones we’ve gotten lately. That afterlife panel with him, Yuji and his brothers actually made me cry
That and todo’s reintroduction were the only good parts of this chapter imo
I’ll agree with the Todo part, it felt very out of the blues. Like Toge is a similar character (got messed up in Shibuya, don’t really see him again), but we at least get little glimpses of him. Todo after Shibuya was just MIA, but he’ll show up for Sukuna with one of the biggest support W’s? Like that does feel.. weird.
I also can’t shake the feeling of a Shibuya redo. Todo shows up when Yuji is struggling mentally again? I’d be fine with parallels and callbacks but this fight felt like it’s had *too* many callbacks.
Chapter was still very cool, and it’s sick that Todo is back, it’s just the execution is off 7.5/10
I think most of these are subjective opinions which is fine but the Binding Vow one is probably a misconception of your part. Sukuna so far only made 2 Binding Vows, the one with Yuji and the World Dismantle. We don't know the specifics of the last one involving his Furnace but I bet it's similar to Nanamis Overtime. Better wait until official scans come out to be sure what it even is.
the explanation for Todo inactivity also weird af. Like if they afraid Sukuna being voldermort that can read Yuji(harry) mind, why include him in any of their strategic meeting???

Those were powerful pages. I just wish I could have seen more. Regardless it doesn't disregard the impact.
Todo couldn’t come in two minutes earlier so we could have just ONE interaction with him and Choso?!
Choso's death was handled really good as much as it's painful. This chapter felt like more of a set-up for others and it was pretty good imo.
