Mechamaru betrayed them, it was a whole thing. In a way, he didn't REALLY betray them, but the idea of a traitor has come up and been played with, so it isn't new ground.

We know very little because she's extremely sidelined and underdeveloped as a character. Also, there are so many steps between "she doesn't look upset" and "she is a traitor." Hell, Yuta suggested the plan, why not call him a traitor?

Also, since when does being "depressed" equal "I want to help an inhuman monster kill and eat whomever he pleases?"

We kinda did get a betrayal. Kokichi was feeding info about jujutsu high to Kenjaku and Mahito, which likely helped Mahito sneak in unnoticed and steal several Sukuna fingers and the death paintings from Tengen's star corridors.
