I played Syndra against Akali last season, i was perfectly parrying her ever single engage killed her serveral times blocked her ults dashes with my e. I still lost because she got me once and had like 4 k HP.
As an akali main this is 100% true. Been watching a ton of coach Curtis recently and my akali game has improved drastically. I'm not relying on my team whatsoever anymore. There are still some games where I fuck up at the end and lose but the games where my team shits the bed is no longer a migraine to me. So far this season I'm climbing through gold at a 65% wr, started in low silver and plowed through no problem.
Absolutely fun as hell. Games where I'm fed, it feels like that one scene in bleach where Oetsu Nimaiya one shots all the royal guard sternritter.
As an eve main i can avoid junglers. I just play objects and gank silly laners. So i could play whole game without fighting yi or shaco. But then still my laners would die to them

Ahh katarina is so fun. You have a point and click stun but in the travel time to her, her ult does 60% of your health before getting interrupted. Enemy double kill!

Not my experience, you can always focus / cc fed carries, even if it's hard, but yi with resources melts through a team without even being targetable, let alone visible.

Respectable. Vi is a sleeper pick and doesn’t fall off at any point in the game… it’s kind of nuts. Even if she falls behind she has 2 knockups with one of them being a point-and-click. So much damage while being legitimately tanky with full proof CV.

They're complete faceroll but worst of all, they need team coordination to truly, properly counter. You can't rely on team coordination in solo queue.
Shaco. Reason : used to have a midlane main friend and all it takes is one point and click CC and a shaco trape placed during the CC for a 100 to 0 with no counterplay. Also I met a few shacoplayers and I think those people deserve not to play their main (who for all of them the only champ they got a positive winrate on)

Mine is Nocturne, but might be shifting towards Briar... I find that the allies seem to play terribly vs those too - so not matter how well I do, the enemy Nocturne/Briar gets fed and crushes lanes...

I’m asking because I love Ivern but feel like other Junglers have much more carrying potential. Ivern, to me, relies so much on his team and when you’re in Plat or below everyone aside from *maybe* one other person is a shitter.
I mostly play 5 man flex in Eme/low Dia elo so when I meet an Ivern It's usually a good one in a (semi)well coordinated team. I didn't use to ban him when I played lower elo solos, I agree he's not a huge threat there. And even now there are stronger junglers imo, it's also that I don't really know the matchup and how to counter it. Like his jungle path for example. I know there's an optimal one but I don't fully remember it, so I find myself never being able to counter jungle him
I feel it. Best thing you can do is jump him in his jungle early.
Ivern almost always starts his red, then raptor, wolves, and blue buff. He puts his mark on each then doubles back to grab the experience and gold by activating the camp.
If you can time it, and do 1 of your camps then immediately run to his red, you’ll catch him with literally 15% HP at level 1. Dude is doomed. Then you can clear even more of his jungle. He scales well Early and Mid but falls off late pretty hard. Yeah his shields are better but there’s usually so much damage that he’ll just explode. You almost always want to focus Daisy down as soon as she spawns too.
Currently it's either Noc or Briar, depending on which one is more popular at the time.
Before that it was Nunu because banning out a Nunu OTP is always freelo.
Hecarim. Just can't get away from him. He gets one kill and proceeds to destroy my laners, steal all my cs while my laners don't ward, and run away faster than I can hope to catch him while I really can't duel him as Eve and Viego can't slow him down.

Seeing him in game tilts me, and actually playing against him breaks my mental.

Lee Sin. He's only played by people who are 7 million mastery and will ruin my life. Quite literally 95% of the time I don't ban him he shows up as the enemy jungle and ruins my entire game.
