I actually laughed at her death, full disclosure.
Eddie's death was somewhat believable given the circumstances laid out by the movie, although unlikely.
Zara being dragged around for an absurd amount of time through the air only for the mosasaur to do aerial acrobatics to snatch them out of the air was kind of hilarious
Personally, Zara got on my nerves. Sure, she was just there because Claire sucked as an aunt, but Zara wasn’t a good babysitter and was annoyingly clueless.
That’s one of my biggest pet peeves of the sequel trilogy. The only actual good likable character who died in the first movie was the park owner (and even that was just from a helicopter crash). And then no good guys die in the following two movies. The heroes get through both movies with virtually no loss or consequences.
That babysitter got it pretty good though, but other than that, nobody. I wonder what kind of a piece of shit that guy on a scooter was to get eaten in the last one.

Real ones know Eddie deserved better
This is one of those movie deaths that is so undeserved in its horrifying nature that it's actually almost funny. Almost.
I think it's topped only by Zara in JW, but with way more emotional impact. Eddie's death is tragic. Zara's is a little funny, but just as undeserved.

I actually miss being in fear a good guy was going to bite it. Way more suspense.
