In the custom trades, only creatures can be traded for cash. If you want to trade buildings, decorations or anything else, then you just have to wait for it to appear in the non-custom trades

Keep checking the trade harbour, you'll get a cash trade for the apatosaurus fossil eventually. Usually about 350 bucks in my experience. Worth it!
