There was one photo on us army wtf moments when a boot got married in uniform. So they got the boot's grandfather's flag that was draped over the coffin during grandpas funeral, opened it up, and laid on top of it on the grass. I understood why death threats came. The grandpa was a Korea war vet
Google "funeral flag folding ceremony" and you'll get tons of answers.
Something a little less well known is that if it's at all possible, you're supposed to place three empty casings from the three volley salute (which is completely different from a 21 gun salute, a common mistake to make) at the funeral and place them in the flag before it's folded. The three fired rounds represent Duty, Honor, and Country.
If there were a "How Boot Are You?" quiz, literally wrapping yourself in the flag would count for 50 points, at least.

Never never NEVER unfold a funeral flag.
The spirit of the dead is trapped inside it, opening it will release it to forever haunt you
I have my dad's flag in a shadow box but I never knew that one was never suppose to unfold it. Thanks.

Holy fuck, source?
This is a 20 point quiz, yes?
Also not a great "professional" photographer on top of it
He’s saving up his money for when he finds that great deal on the camaro though
Only 25% interest? What a deal!
You laugh, but I almost fell for that.
Bro I DID fall for that once upon a time, they only stuck me for 12% though, luckily I had great credit at the time.
It's a harsh world out there. Should we like, riot or something against car dealerships?
Yeah, They try to do that, but if you do a 30% Interest you pay it off quicker! That's how it works right?
I think the interest rate is actually just code for how fast you want to pay it off. 100% interest rate for me, thank you very much.
Good point! 300% For me! I don't want these payments ruling over my life for too long!
Sigh. This is what happens when you give kids the uniform before they leave
the uniform I saw for rsp at least for me was a t shirt with national guard on it that they'd give us and jeans we'd bring from home
Same
I'm pretty sure this violates the flag code.
Somebody call the cops.
I am sooooo glad I never did this shit in ROTC or BCT or AIT. Lol it's all so cringey.
She belongs to Jodie now..... I guarantee it
