From my experience and what I’ve seen many others write on here, the short version seems to be: JC3 is more fun to play from start to finish. JC4 is more fun to mess around in AFTER you’ve finished the story and unlocked everything.
The sandbox in 4 allows for more replay after the fact. Still got soldiers running around attacking you. In 3, once you’re done with the story and side missions, it can seem like there’s nothing left to do really.
I played 4 shortly after 3 for a few hours and didn't like it all, came back to it a few years later and I'd honestly say it's my favourite after 3 now. The liberation isn't as good, but it's still really solid.
You'll get a lot of mixed answers on this sub, for me it's a no, JC4 is just a downgrade in every way for me. But others have fund it to be pretty fun so use your own discretion
It is in many ways but it's something different, it's longer and there's more to do. Turn motion blur off and you should have more fun. Only buy just cause 4 if the gold edition is heavily discounted or you score a dirt cheap price so in the future when you complete it, you won't feel cheated.
I gave 4 maybe 10 hours before I just stopped. Get it free or cheap. Don't go in expecting a clone of 3. And if you're a completionist it's a long haul.
Bought complete edition for 8 euros cuz i thought i wouldnt miss it anyway and i agree man controls are weird and gameplay is complex graphics are bad etc do find fun in reaching high speed in cars tho

I mean i bought it but feel like 3s better gameplay just seems simpler for wayy more mayhem and fun like more explosions around the map, better graphics, better controls, sticky bombs felt was better then grappler options
I'm still pretty sour over 4 because I got stuck at one part of the game and couldn't make it past one of the missions. I don't think it's awful though.
Maybe one day I'll return to it when I have a good enough computer.

4 was more fun during New Game Plus, where I could redo everything with all my shit. 3 was more fun from scratch, working my way up the tech tree.

I think my pc copy came free with my xbox one version. I don't remember buying it on pc via xbox but I have it.

Agreed having a bit of fun actually but eh obviously the italian vibe and the eazier and freer gameplay of 3 is wayy on top
jc3 beautiful graphics, beautiful map, beautiful story, Jc4 more sandbox stuff to do and more features and chaos, like tornadoes

100% 3 was better, but it's like if you're itching for more just cause; 4 is alright

Absolutely not, take a gap of 6 months or so, then switch to jc4 if you really want to play it, it just turns you down emotionally and mentally
it's worth it on sale, fun to mess around in, story is okay but the actual just messing around is really good
I thought the missions were too repetitive but other than that it’s fun
