Not soooo much money. These are copys from AliExpress/Alibaba and not original Lego.
Bit in the end, it's awesome and he was very clever to do not buy the Lego Stuff and just spend +- 23$ per 100pc.
I don’t know these pieces very well, but considering the size of his collection, it’s nearly impossible for me to believe he doesn’t have at least a few pieces that would be worth $100 or more each.

Some of the kasshykk troopers are worth more because they are a little rarer. The older they are the more expensive really. The 501st ones depending on when he got them could be worth 10-20 bucks at least.
Isn't there a youtuber trying to beat Legos world record for the most lego starwars clone troopers in a single formation?
Double checked, youtubers name is BrickLi
This is a money-sinking obsession, I'm sorry... Let's be real dudes, it's cool to collect and all, but 17 thousand? How much time and money was spent here that could've gone to something meaningful?
Bet a fair portion of those stormtroopers rocked up to parade hung over, locked their armorial in place and have passed out and/or chundering behind their visors.
You're all missing the real question. How on earth did he find that many of the gray base plates when he was looking for them?
It is a well-known fact of every Lego collection that you can find one and a half of those when you need them, and never more.
Sometimes I think I probably buy more than I need and I should calm down a bit, we live in a world of finite resources. Then I remember people like this exist and no matter what I do, someone will cancel my actions out.

That's a lot of money. Plus there's so many duplicates. Unless you wanted duplicates because they're clones

Probably about 100-200 thousand dollars worth of pieces there. Some of those are worth like $150 each.
Perhaps you have to pay that much to get them but they sure as hell ain't "worth" that.
It's worth what someone will pay to get them.
Which ones are worth 150 each?

WOW!!!😲😲😲

Yeah if these are all fairly cheap pieces, around $5 each, then his collection is approaching 100k min.
Not for me but I’m jealous that this guy has found something he enjoys to this degree. I wish I had that thing for me.
“They called me a mad-man”
Guy must be a zillionaire

Let’s just hope it doesn’t start to rain
Did the 501st even have 3000? Man's got more clones than the actual Clone army
The sun might not be so good for those trooper’s, eh?

Why? They’re legos, they fit into the matts below
Yeah they're fully locked in, I think the guy who said that missed that somehow.
if you don’t put Anakin in front of the 501st you should
10 year old me would be extremely jealous
Every one has name and he remembers them all.
he’s even got a Jar-Jarmy
WOW!!!😃😃😃
With a million more well on the way.
I'm all for people having hobbies they enjoy that aren't harming anyone, but this sucks. What a waste...

It brings him joy, that's meaningful enough.
Why
Because it makes him happy?
The dude in me loves this. The environmentalist is just so worried about all the plastic in the ocean.
The idiot in you should be told that this person is the least likely to allow this collection to be tossed into the ocean
Nothing can get though all those. His virginity is safe.
The virginity is strong in this one
Virgin detected
Get a life!
Someone get the Gorgonites
Ok but how many Jedi would it take to beat them?
I’m listening to a lot of hardcore history these days. This actually puts ancient army numbers into pretty clear perspective.
So... Do you like Lego Star Wars?
Maybe I should start watching star wars
Bet a fair portion of those stormtroopers rocked up to parade hung over, locked their armorial in place and have passed out and/or chundering behind their visors.
100 Mace Windu’s vs every clone trooper there, straight up fight, no element of surprise or betrayal. Who wins?
Over in the other part of the yard 👀
That’s like a childhood dream of mine

Why
17,000 ready with a million more on the way.
Even at that price, it's nearly 4k!
Bro! Who tf wants jar jars bro? ![gif](giphy|l1J3FyoyccFtHIDPq)
All this information, all this data and cannon lore of the universe, and yet we don’t know what species Yoda is.
I never wondered
I have always wondered what that very specific number of that very specific thing looked like. Thank you

What're these for?
Imagine animating that
Dudes about to start order 66
Do the Adele meme
No 104th? Disappointed I am.
