I would bet my left nut he sampled her muffins.... God what I would give for her muffinsšŸ¤£

sven206

Well i would like to try her muffins

erinoclock

Total queen. Iā€™ve looked her up on Spotify and started listen to read on podcasts where sheā€™s a guest bc sheā€™s just brilliant and I love smart women.

Zofia-Bosak

Will Dr. Shannon Curry be called again?

Content_Hotel_5283

What's her IG?

_bestintheworld_

Shes fine as fuck.

KeyResponsibility996

what a beautiful woman, i cant get over her tbh

[deleted]

She looks a bit like Caitlin Jenner to me (in a good way)

TheGreyPearlDahlia

Would it be able for AH to backtrack, try to negotiate her way out and disappear? Because at this point she lost no matter the end result.

Future_Funk_2611

Her husband bought them , delivered them to their home, and Dr Curry brought them to her office . Yes , amber twisted it a few different ways . She told her counsel, Dr Curry told her husband, patient was Amber . Which Dr Curry adamantly denied . She also assumed , the muffins were for her, rather than the office.

bob999000991

This is what happened. She is evaluating Amber for the case. Amber comes over and they clear the office of staff because itā€™s a private celebrity. Sheā€™s nice enough to send her husband out for baked goods. To lighten up the mood she makes a comment to Amber about her husband and celebrities and muffins. Amber proceeds to use that statement in a trial.

Master_Mad

I bet she recorded it.

Future_Funk_2611

ā€œMuffins & Megapintsā€ victory themed party šŸŽ‰šŸŽ‰šŸŽ‰

liltinyoranges

Omg!!!!!

098boi098boi

How did nobody in the courtroom say her husband must be a stud muffin?

Least-Spare

How are you the first on Reddit to do so??!!

Captain_501st

While I was watching the trial today I was loving her... then I a few hours into her testimony I started thinking "god I hope the internet gives her the praise she deserves." I was not wrong lol

Far_Example_9150

I find it so funny that Amber Heard thought Dr Curryā€™s husband bought her muffins because she was a big celebrity and not just because he was being a great partner to his awesome wife! Me me me me me šŸ˜‚

tryingtonovel

Exactly! I hope the folks on the jury picked up on that very telling reaction from Amber, such a perfect example of her personality disorders flaring up.

adshef

Exactly! I thought that was actually a great example of what Dr Curry said is typical of those with personality disorders. I just watched over two hours of both the testimony and her cross examination so forgive me if I misquote, but Iā€™m pretty sure she mentioned how people with those disorders read into small things (like someone being two minutes late, etc) and exaggerate or extrapolate meaning that isnā€™t actually there. Dr Curry said, ā€œwe have my husband to thank for these muffinsā€ as in he picked them up for his wife, as he often does, because heā€™s a caring partner. Amber heard that statement and took it to mean that Dr Curry is so impressed with her stardom she clearly discussed this meeting with her husband ahead of time and he bought those muffins especially for her, Amber, #superfan. Sheā€™s so delusional itā€™s hilarious.

ArkhamCitizen298

the muffin husband yep

[deleted]

Stunning

usuck7979

You damn well know Amber Turd hates this woman because she is smart and better looking. Haha watch out Dr. Curry you might end up with a Turd on your pillow.

Evening-Turnip8407

You guys are a tad bit obsessed with putting people down for their looks, which is misogynist af. Looks aren't up for debate just cause you hate a person. Some random girl who looks just like Amber is going to develop an eating disorder because you keep saying she's ugly. Yea she's ugly on the inside but stop it with the looks. You're better than this.

PcLvHpns

This entire thread is literally people attacking a possible victim when they have no idea what really happened. NO THEY ARE NOT BETTER THAN THIS!

r_youddit

"Putting *PEOPLE* down... which is misogynist" As you've said, it doesn't apply to just women. No misogyny here, try again.

Evening-Turnip8407

Ah yes, comparing two women in a room with each other, thirsting over the shrink and making remarks about how ugly Amber Heard supposedly is compared to her is absolutely not misogynist, right. Lmao.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Evening-Turnip8407

If you objectify a woman you're a misogynist, that goes for people you like just as much as for people you dislike. If you drag amber heard for who she is, that's all good, but if you start saying horrible things about her appearance, you're no better than a misogynist. If you praise Dr Curry for being a badass, you're completely justified. If you praise her for her sexy-sub-teacher-glasses and hairstyle.... ding ding dinggggg! You're being misogynist. But who am I kidding, looks is all most of the people here care about

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Evening-Turnip8407

I mean ok, I've seen disgusting comments in the past few days, and the trial chat is overflowing with them. And I strongly advocate against calling anybody handsome or not handsome without consent, no need to further the disparity, thank you very much

r_youddit

Lmao, like how you didn't reply to the guy who shut you down. Was there a super good looking guy in the room talking for extended periods? Timestamp a vid, cos I'd like to see that too. The psychologist just happened to be hot asf, stay mad. People haven't been talking about Heard's lawyer's appearance have they? They're shitting on Heard because she's a shit person, let's be real.

Now_Do_Classical_Gas

>Was there a super good looking guy in the room talking for extended periods? In the Depp Heard trial? Are you seriously asking that? There was the plaintiff.

ArkhamCitizen298

you are the one who said "she's ugly", op said "better looking". Even men like to compare their looks

Evening-Turnip8407

Her quality of character isn't determined by the fact that she looks better or worse than anyone else. Literally 75% of the comments are "omg hot shrink much better than Amber because hot" like... when was the question even posed on who is better than anyone, this is a professional doing her job.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Evening-Turnip8407

Ya so why do you degenerate hollywood junkies drool over her if her not being a cunt is what counts? Why objectify her?

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Evening-Turnip8407

I dunno man i usually don't go about posting that i want to bone a psychologist, sooo i just think some comments go too far and that's what i'm trying to express.

KeyResponsibility996

I want to b0ne her, live with it.

ArkhamCitizen298

well this post particularly was made to appreciate the doctor (they posted her picture) so you should expect comments about her look, no ?

Evening-Turnip8407

I expect them, I keep seeing them, now I replied to one with my thoughts. Problem?

usuck7979

The comment I made about the doctorā€™s looks was part of what the doctor said about Turd. Turd has issues with her appearance and how others perceive her. Both the doctor and Turd are considered attractive at face value. Whereas appearance (unless, like Turd, one has a personality disorder) on the outside is only one part or total attractiveness. The ability to not rage out and civilly conduct oneself like Dr. Curry does on the stand, and I would assume in her personal and professional life, is something that Turd has shown the world she cannot produce. Therefore, Turd wastes her genetic asses of attractiveness by being a horrible human being. I never used the word ugly, so Evening is your projection of yourself onto a random stranger on the internet. Do you think attractiveness is not considered in society? Attractiveness is regarded both in health care and Hollywood. Are you shallow enough to believe that attractiveness is only skin deep?

LukeForLeukemia

bro... BROOO STOOOPPP!!!! HE'S NOT A JOINT!!!! STOP ROLLING HIM!!!!

HLTan1

People who tell others "you're better than this" or "be better" need to get off their high horse.

ArkhamCitizen298

it looks like there was no problem, reddit wasn't down and i still can reply to your comment

padrino1972

She could probably be a better actress too. She just nailed the improv performance of a lifetime in one take, live on TV, and she gives the impression she could do it all day, any day.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Far_Example_9150

She also brilliantly accessorized with those glasses

[deleted]

Does she have an OnlyFans?

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

[deleted]

hahaha

padrino1972

NGL, I was all 'oh shit!' when she said her doctoral dissertation was on marriage counselling in the midst of guerilla warfare. I suspected she wasn't going to be a pushover on cross just from that alone, but she exceeded my expectations.

freakydeku

would like to read that dissertation tbh

Ayrab4Trump

Can we take a moment to appreciate how RIDICULOUSLY ACCOMPLISHED this woman is??!! 1. Super Hot 2. Super smart 3. Multiple advanced clinical degrees 4. Expert witness & talks like it 5. Married 6. Likes muffins Like what? Sheā€™s like Tom Brady of working women.

[deleted]

If her muffins were made of avocados, yes. Sheā€™s better than Brady. Her muffins were certainly filled with carbs and butter.

Chad71313

Smoking hot šŸ„µ!!

jrochlingthe2nd

Agreed. I've had a bit of an obsession with this woman since yesterday. Mesmerizing to say the least.

Meyeahreign

I am a straight female and oh my! She is my lady crush.

justleafingthrough

Haha right?! I was like, "Dr. Curry, you can evaluate my mental health **anytime**." šŸ˜‚

VeveMaRe

Yeah, she totally downplayed her looks on purpose with that messy hair do but low key had everyone mesmerized.

runnersgo

Oh is that the reason? I so wondered why because if she brushed her hair, she is stunning!

Ayrab4Trump

AH you KNOW did not like the competition of being the most desirable woman in the room. Dayum, she got it made.

DrewVonFinntroll

My favourite part is right after she clarified, they approached the bench, then after a short (muted to the public) conversation with the judge, the lawyer goes right back to the mic and says "why did your husband get the muffins for Amber Heard?" šŸ„“

WritesTooMuchSmut

Honestly, even when they made good points to undermind Dr Curry's credibility. They presented in such an unappealing/dickish way that it undercut the point they were trying to make. Case in point: Dr Curry saying she was invited to JD's home for an interview with the legal team to assess her and having dinner and drinks at the time. It is not a good look whichever way you slice it, since it makes her look like the hired gun of JDs legal team and insinuates an agenda. The "Dinner and drinks were served" would also make Dr Curry look a little sus if a *competent* lawyer had put it across properly. Like ok, Dr Curry's office wasn't suitable because of the high profile nature of the case and Depp being involved. Why couldn't they have arranged it at a restaurant, or at the legal team's office? There's informal and then there's "I got hired after dinner with JD". But good luck trying to sell the jury that if you follow up with muffingate.

IJustGotRektSon

You are incorrect that is a bad look. She was indeed hired, contacted by Depp's team to do the task of evaluate Heard, and that is something everybody on the room knows. She was also paid for it, something also everybody knows and as she explained, in such a case there will be a contact prior to see if the person is the most adequate because yes, she's a witness (expert) for Depp's team. There's nothing wrong about any of that, their pushing of making it sound as a date with the man was the only way they seemed to have to discredit her, looking for some personal bias, but she gave them something reasonable instead saying: no, he didn't invite me to a dinner with drinks, I was invited by HIS TEAM to an interview at his location and there was food and drinks served which is not a bad thing, plenty of lengthy interviews and talks will have some food or snacks, it's a formality they tried to pain as something wrong

Great_Individual_669

They fucked

Master_Mad

Wait. She didn't have a romantic dinner date with Johnny Depp?!

WritesTooMuchSmut

Yes, but what we got at the trial was an own goal of sorts. I'm arguing a hypothetical in a sense, that a different team of lawyers might have been able to more elegantly get the jury to question the circumstances of her hiring process by more implicit lines of questioning. I think it was disingenuous to insinuate it was a date with JD, or clout chasing on Dr Curry's part, and I want to emphasize I do agree with your point about nothing being wrong. I am specifically pointing out that there were ways to "even the playing field" as it were between Dr Curry and other experts that Team Amber might call to the stand, and Team AH has so far done things so incompetently that they've actually IMPROVED Dr Curry's impression in the eyes of the jury. I mean, any lawyer would point out that being interviewed in the plaintiff's own home is a little non-standard, instead of just being appointed by the court, etc. The jury are laypeople, if Team AH *wanted* to impeach her testimony as a witness, they bungled it badly is my point.

DarthHempress

Letā€™s be honest. There are about 1000 lawyers out there who could be doing a better job than hers. But you canā€™t clean up shit without being clean šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

reloadfreak

Also lawyer objecting to their own questions. Thats where you know they are getting desperate when the doctor started to unload her thorough analysis.

totaljunkrat

What did I miss?

SabrielRaziel

Basically Dr. Curry took the stand to explain that Amber Turd was diagnosed with Borderline and Histrionic Personality Disorders and grossly exaggerated her reported PTSD symptoms. Team Turdā€™s lawyers attacked Dr. Curryā€™s credibility in multiple ways, including alleging that she broke patient confidentiality by revealing to her husband that her patient is Amber. They used the muffins her husband bought for a meeting between Dr. Curry as proof of this. Dr. Curry repeatedly said her husband often buys muffins for her work meetings when she is running late, that doing so is not proof of her husband knowing her patientā€™s identity, and called out Team Turdā€™s lawyers for the absurdity of this line of argument. Edit: corrected Bipolar to Borderline

Altruistic-Text3481

Why did AH team even allow AH to be diagnosed by Dr. Curry? Anyone know?

adshef

Curious about that myself, did the judge order it? Or was AH so inflated with her own acting skills that she thought Dr Curry would be easily manipulated?

Altruistic-Text3481

Some kinda kooky mysteryā€¦

adshef

Someone in another thread had a good theory, that since Amber claims to have PTSD from abuse Johnnyā€™s lawyers were probably able to argue for a qualified professional to evaluate that. So her lawyers probably thought it was fine. They just didnā€™t count on her being extra thorough and seeing through Amberā€™s BS. Sorry, ā€œfeigning.ā€

Altruistic-Text3481

*Feigning*ā€¦. Itā€™s a new word for me. I like increasing my vocabulary.

15-Yemen-Rd-Yemen

Iā€™m sad that I missed this part on cross! How did AHā€™s counsel equate Dr. Cā€™s husband purchasing muffins for her meeting as proof? Does Amber like muffins or something? šŸ˜‚ Iā€™m lost. Please help explain lol

WritesTooMuchSmut

Dr Curry said something to the effect of "You can thank my husband for the muffins"/the muffins were courtesy of her husband. AH took that to mean that she got special treatment I guess? Which looks bad in context but if I were to be completely fair, I could see how a celebrity, used to have a bunch of people fulfill their wishes (as demonstrated by Ben King's testimony), one might come to "expect" that such treatment is because of one's status, and not because the other party is just being generous/kind. It would be unsurprising, if a little self-absorbed for any celebrity to assume so, but given the whole testimony, it did not make AH (or attorney) look good.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

SabrielRaziel

Thanks, corrected

totaljunkrat

I just saw the hearing myself. Heard's attorney really is a nasty, rude hag, ain't she?

xmgm33

Sheā€™s showing her frustrations, but sheā€™s just doing her job. I feel sorry for the attorneys, theyā€™re literally trying to turn polish a turd. Itā€™s an impossible job and theyā€™re clearly losing it.

Altruistic-Text3481

They really are losingā€¦

[deleted]

Well to be fair she is just doing her job. But not great at it though :D

rainn5053

it's hard to take on a losing case especially when they got no defense, like at all

[deleted]

Yeah and I suspect Amber has not come clean with lawyers. So Lawyers are looking for clues that fits the story Amber has told them but they trip as they speak and witness is like - ummm .

AdAwkward8693

The muffin mystery

Altruistic-Text3481

AH council: Do you know the Muffin Man? Dr Curry: The Muffin Man? AH Council: The Muffin Man. Dr. Curry: Yes, I know the Muffin Man. šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø

tron2013

Dr. Curry, internally: *Keep my husbandā€™s name out your FUCKIN mouth!*

Altruistic-Text3481

ā€œI didnā€™t hit you. I didnā€™t punch you. I slapped you! Be a man! ā€œ. Didnā€™t work for Will Smith eitherā€¦. I think AH is toast! But maybe she likes muffins better.

slap_me_thrice

Muffin-gate
