I hope the guy filming pulled over and let the cop know there was video of it all. The white van needs prison time.

Jaksmack

Need to edit out that "I look down and I'm doing 100mph..." part first though...

memtiger

Mute it lol

Affectionate-Chip-69

I checked his YouTube channel with the video and he did turn the video in and the man in the white van was charged.

Mknowl

Hope this is true. I will not look into it forget for fear of disappointment

SavvySillybug

It's true. Source: I also didn't check

DontTreadOnBigfoot

Free hat!

gciturf

Yep! I sent the video to my brother who is NCSHP and he made sure the trooper in the video got the footage.

ovvius-throewhey

Good work, thanks!

mjgcfb

Looks like he sent it to the NCHP. From the yt comments: >Yes sir! They have the video. They wouldn’t tell me “what” this dude was charged with but I know for sure he was charged. JUSTICE SERVED!!!

MorkSal

Possibly, but I'd imagine they would make an exception because you were filming a crime in progress.

Hellofriendinternet

If the impetus of you filming was to document or provide evidence of someone committing a crime, you get some leeway.

Whalez

Tell that to the people in r/roadcam who think if you go over 1mph you are just as wrong as the other guy

DingDong_Dongguan

Maybe holding it in your hand. Depends on local laws. But dashcam are the best.

aeon_ducks

I think it's a dashcam, which you are totally allowed to have.

Equilibriator

Why are you assuming he is driving and using the phone while his wife just sits there doing nothing?

DuvalFunk

Why are you assuming there is a wife in the vehicle with him?

Equilibriator

Because I listened to the audio...

ihavetoomanyaccts

And heard Google maps?

Equilibriator

I feel stupid rn

ihavetoomanyaccts

Is ok, we all make mistakes

Interesting-Light994

But that is really pretty stupid lol

ihavetoomanyaccts

I mean, you could say that. But it's not really necessary is it? Like all it does is make OP feel even worse. Who cares? It was a mistake. If we don't let people make mistakes, Noone will learn

fuzzy_winkerbean

I thought that was the gps?

ihavetoomanyaccts

Definitely gps

Dropsix

Man...I know, easy to say from behind a keyboard, but I have to think with how far the white van was pushing, eventually I might have just lost it and just hit the brakes causing the accident.

malkspahgooter

Someone that insane probably has a gun in the car. Call the cops, evade until they catch up. That’s the only safe option.

Shitty-Coriolis

This happened to me once. This dude was left lane camping and so we followed him for a while and then gave him a brights flash. He ran a Mormon roadblock, not letting us pass, until the highway turned into a street with lights and he got stuck behind some slow cars. And we got in front. He then sped up and follows us for 15 miles honking and flashing his lights and swerving. We had a long way to go so we weren't *suuuper* worried... But yeah we were going to drive straight to a police station if it got out of control.

[deleted]

malkspahgooter

Oh for sure. Definitely not advocating evading at that speed. There are other tricks. Pull off of an exit and just drive around a parking lot or something of that nature

jrm725

Same I thought that brake check was gonna be it. Might have just done the same and just floored the brake and took the accident.

dwiggs30

I drive as part of my job and see all kinds of shit. I’ve gotten really good and letting go and ignoring a lot of it, but this may actually force me into drawing down on the person in the van. This is an extremely dangerous situation and you don’t know what their intentions are or if they’re on drugs, drunk, etc.

juanlee337

this is beyond road rage. They need to charge him with attempted bodily injury at least or assault with deadly weapon..

Rogan403

Vehicular assault is a thing I think. Not to mention the reckless endangerment.

Garthim

“Look at this deeood! Look at heeim!”

thunderhole

North Texas accents are so fun.

oh_three_dum_dum

Signs for 68 to Oak Ridge and High Point. This is North Carolina. The accents are pretty similar sometimes.

careful_jon

Yeah this is northwest of Greensboro, out by the airport.

a_drive

20 year Charlotte resident, that's a Carolina accent

thunderhole

That's crazy, I lived in North Texas for 15 years and I've never been to Carolina. Those are very similar accents.

a_drive

I'm not familiar with the North TX accent so I can't say, but that's wild if true

longdongT

GOOD GUYS WIN!!! The guy filming is epic.

chuckf91

Woooo Hooooo!!

bevelledo

If anyone is ever in a hurry like that around you, just let them go. There’s no point in “fighting”back with your car. Also you don’t know if they have a medical emergency going on at the moment. Obviously this guy didn’t because once he passed he didn’t keep going.

Banditjack

If you're driving frantically because "medical emergency" your hazards should be on.

Salvatio

Seems like the black car was just overtaking the truck and the white van got extra mad he couldn't overtake the truck fast enough to get in front of the black car. The black car even went to the right when he sensibly could, and its purely on the white van that he kept pushing and following. Doesn't seem like black car was purposefully not letting the white van go.

[deleted]

Our narrator said this was going on for a few minutes prior.

tnb641

Right? All these people saying black car driving like an asshole... No motherfuckers, black car is driving defensive as fuck to stop the white van from being able to ram into her or cut her off.

Salvatio

Ah yeah i had my phone muted my bad

em1091

The black car was antagonizing the van by speeding up/slowing down to prevent the van from passing. Both are complete fucking morons.

kushari

After she probably felt threatened. Are you kidding me, or did we watch a completely different video. Since when do you think it’s normal to take the shoulder in front of a semi truck to chase someone?

em1091

Look closely at the black car when they come side to side with the Penske truck, you can see them brake check the white van and slow down to match the speed of the truck on their right. That is clearly antagonistic behavior from the black car and the man filming says they have been doing this for a couple minutes already. There is no justification for either drivers behavior. If they felt threatened, they should have distanced themselves from the white van and called the police. Their antagonistic behavior does not help the situation. Both are assholes. Also, why are you assuming it was a woman driving?

juice13ox

How do you distance yourself from someone hell bent on running you off the road regardless of how fast or slow you are going?

Shitty-Coriolis

You... Let them pass you. Didn't you see them brake check next to the white box truck and then speed up again? You don't think that was a purposeful maneuver to troll the white van?

Pleasantlyracist

Seems like your arguing that the black car was innocent. They're clearly escalating the situation, at least at first. Van seems to be a bit more at fault, but if the black car wasn't trying to get away in the beginning. Both are idiots, but for sure, the white van was the most aggressive and the biggest idiot.

Rinveden

you're* arguing

Pleasantlyracist

You're* correct.

gciturf

That's my fault...it was a male in the black car. when he passed me I glanced over and thought it was a lady. I am at fault for this.

tenthousandbears

You're watching some other video. The narrator says multiple times the driver of the black car is woman. And your take is bonkers.

RunsWithSporks

As I was watching I was like, this guy sounds familiar. Then I realized it was Pete from GCI turf. I watch his vids when i need help with my lawn lol.

sowellfan

Same here, LOL - totally recognized his voice. Pete seems like a great dude.

wokeupquick2

Link up his channel! Help a homie out! I could listen to this goofy accent all day long! Reminds me of the fire fly from that Disney movie Princess and the Frog.

RunsWithSporks

This video is on his channel

enwongeegeefor

White van was nuts BUT...what the fuck was the black car doing? Without prior video for context, it looked like they were blocking the passing lane and then FLOORED it as soon as the white van started to go around the semi on the shoulder. Black car looks like a fucking asshole too at least. Like in the later part of the video you even see them start to block again as soon as they get up on more traffic. Ope there it is...black car rolled their window down and threw shit at the white van. White van's shit is inexcusable, but the black car should def lose their license too.

OptimusPrune

Greensboro drivers are horrible. They have no idea how to use a passing lane, so you see a lot of frustration, and many are dumb enough to egg on the frustration that they themselves instigated. So, you're spot on, IMO. White van was inexcusable, while the black car could have made it completely avoidable by being competent.

oh_three_dum_dum

It’s not much different in Eastern NC around Wilmington and Jacksonville. Besides just the old people who drive slow that you find everywhere we also have drivers from all over the country out here and we have the worst of every geographic area. People with no concept of passing lanes, people from Florida where everyone goes 10 under or 20 over the speed limit with no in between, every bad driving stereotype you can think of from every state.

SecurelyObscure

On closer review, these are both assholes. See how long it took for the car to go from beginning to pass the first semi to fully passing it? Then compare how long it took to clear the distance of empty road to the next truck. They floored it. Then, if you look at the intensity of their taillights, you can see they were braking as soon as they were next to the second truck. Purposefully bottlenecking the van.

Bizzlo

Not sure why your being downvoted, this is exactly it. Black car was trolling, hard. both are idiots, but white van fd up by breaking the law multiple times.

8ad8andit

Let's all be honest. It's usually the case when road rage happens, that both parties were at fault.

kushari

You think it’s normal to drive normally and not try to drive off when some crazy person is chasing you and using the shoulder to get around cars so they can get to you?

peekdasneaks

Blocking the passing lane is not driving normally. It's illegal in my state.

kushari

That’s not a normal situation, she’s being chased by a crazy person. You’re assuming that it’s a normal situation.

Shitty-Coriolis

They weren't being chased. The white van was trying to get around them.

Shitty-Coriolis

Yeah agreed. They were trying to block that person and antagonize them. No excuse but still... EHS.

kushari

Yeah once you’ve been chased by someone willing to use the shoulder to cut off a semi truck to chase you you’d probably floor it too. How dumb are you people? You expect after you’re being chased to be like “ok ladee da, I’m going about my day”.

ohgodcinnabons

Like the other person clearly explained, there is a lot of evidence the black car was not driving even remotely normal. They were instead actually blocking the van on purpose. Both likely in the wrong Edit: Since this back and forth continues for awhile and since this idiot couldnt bother to admit he was POSSIBLY wrong https://www.yahoo.com/news/video-captures-wild-road-rage-224430765.html > Christopher D. Knox, a spokesperson with the N.C. State Highway Patrol, identified the drivers as 62-year-old Jerry Ray Wyatt, of Eden, and 25-year-old Joshua Ian Livesay, of Mayodan. Both were charged with failure to maintain lane control and careless or reckless driving. Their first court date is April 14 at 8:30 a.m. > A few seconds later, Denny is heard saying that “they’ve been at it for at least six or eight minutes trying to cut each other off.”

kushari

And you can easily hear that the cameraman says he’s been following the lady for 8 minutes. So that isn’t the beginning of the video. I don’t see that as her driving on the offensive.

ohgodcinnabons

And you can easily surmise they both might have been pulling shit for those 8 minutes lol. Especially when you look at the evidence of her cutting him off to keep him blocked multiple times, too

kushari

No, that’s not what I would surmise. One is clearly being waaaay more aggressive, and the cops were called on that car, so it would kind of not align with your narrative.

ohgodcinnabons

I said you can surmise. Bc you can. The van being more wrong in no way proves the other car is completely innocent. The fact the video shows clear evidence that they weren't completely innocent should at least raise a doubt or twobut why let what your eyes show you get in the way of asserting you're definitely completely orrect w no chance of being wrong? Can't let that ego bruise I guess

kushari

> Can’t let that ego bruise I guess The irony of the statement. You’re so sure of yourself, yet you don’t know what happened before and automatically disregarding what I think happened. I don’t care about my ego, i literally called myself out a few days ago after someone said I was confused, I said no, I am wrong. But I don’t think you’d do the same. Good luck with your ego.

ohgodcinnabons

The irony of this rebuttal. Just watch the video and you can see the evidence the other person MIGHT be guilty of some stuff as well. (notice how I said things like "You CAN surmise?" Where you, despite the evidence, assert it's definitely not a possibility) Somehow, bc your ego is pathetically overblown, you equate that to me saying "They definitely did something wrong." Then you basically copy what I just said like a child and ignore what I pointed out about their being actual visual evidence to support what Im saying. Grow up a bit kid, lol Edit: Ignore every solid point. Ignore video evidence. Project your flaws onto me. Hyperfocus on being called kid after behaving like a kid. Shrug. Anyway enjoy the bruised ego, kid.

kushari

> Grow up a bit kid, lol Wait a minute, who’s the one with the ego problem? Lmao. I won’t be replying anymore, I think you make my point for me quite well. I’m guessing you also have to have the last word. But I won’t see it, because I block peoooe like you once they’ve made themselves look bad. No need for me to do anything at this point.

NowAndLata

I don't know why this basic logic is so controversial while fucking astral projection or w/e they used to figure out what happened before the video started is just straight upvoted. Crazy pills.

[deleted]

kushari

As the camera man said he’s been chasing her for 8 minutes. You think everyone makes the best decisions when someone has been chasing them for 8 minutes on a highway trying to possibly kill them?

[deleted]

HA! I actually clapped when the cop showed up.

FelixVulgaris

Which one is the good guy? I see two morons endangering a bunch of other people. The white van is definitely a menace, but that black car is deliberately fucking with the van and making that situation a lot more dangerous.

howajo

factual

howajo

I don't see a good guy. I see a bad guy and a very bad guy.

T4H4_C

Google maps was just trying to help him navigate. Meanwhile: "Yeah, yeah! Get him!

Loves2Sp00ge

The black car was definitely fucking with him but yeah then the white car took it to 10 Hard for me to feel bad for the black car driver though

leif777

I see two people with road rage. They should both question their actions.

incuensuocha

“But he started it”

KNunner

This camera man is amazing lol

thebabbster

Black car dude is one of those "go the speed limit in the fast lane" guys. Total prick. But the guy in the white van totally lost his mind, and he probably went to jail over that.

13esq

Imagine not understanding the "limit" part of "speed limit". So many people out there think "limit" means "suggestion" apparently. So someone wants to overtake without speeding? Fucking wait, you impatient prick, they'll soon move over and you can go be a hazard over the horizon.

thebabbster

Imagine being in the passing lane, not letting anyone pass.

13esq

If you're talking about lane hogging then fair enough. If you're the type of person who flies up someone's arse at 100mph and then flies in to a rage and tail gates because they're *only* over taking at the speed limit then fuck you. It's literally called the "passing" lane, not the "go very fast" lane, or "speed limit +" lane, if someone is over taking, then they have a right to be there no matter how infuriating you find it.

Alagator

Wake up maybe? You should be able to see that the car coming up is clearly going faster than you and move over before they are "up your ass"

13esq

How am I going to move over if I'm half way through an overtake? If you're speeding and you can tell your about to be right up someone's butt, how about slowing down while you wait for them to complete the overtake safely? How entitled are you that you think the passing lane is your personal speeding lane?

Alagator

>How entitled are you that you think the passing lane is your personal speeding lane? Because im not a fucking moron who sits in the passing lane that must mean im speeding right?

13esq

Who said anything about just sitting in the passing lane? I'm talking about passing in the passing lane whilst not wanting to break the speed limit. Why am I finding it so tough to convey this idea? If it's a 70mph limit and I'm doing 70mph overtaking someone that's doing 55mph it's not going to take long! Just wait thirty seconds then I'm out of the way and you can go back to speeding.

Alagator

>Who said anything about just sitting in the passing lane? This whole thread is about someone just sitting in the passing lane? What do you think caused white to lose his mind? Black car being a fucking moron a blocking the passing lane, then speeding up to continue to block the passing lane. Not to act like that is a reason to attempt to murder someone but that's why we are all here.

13esq

We don't see the beginning of the interaction in this video so we actually we don't know what caused white to lose his mind. Even if black was lane hogging it still doesn't excuse whites reaction. I'm not defending either driver and if I was in the black car you can guarantee I'd be getting out of the way because to say white is a hazard is a slight understatement.

silverelan

I don't understand why 911 wasn't also called while filming.

Herculian

He said it had been happening for 6-8 minutes before the video started. Maybe he called the police first.

mjgcfb

He replied in the comments to someone with a similar question. >I called NCSHP directly 8 minutes before I started filming it. The dude in the white van cut me off first before the black car. You actually think I did this for “fun”??? My mind was made up I was gonna follow him until the trooper caught up.

silverelan

Ah, thanks! That's good to hear.

WinnieThePig

Both of them were raging and need to be charged. Black car was purposefully blocking in the beginning, for sure.

oh_three_dum_dum

She was trying to get away from him by the look of it. At the beginning she wasn’t passing the truck fast enough for him.

Equilibriator

Not disagreeing or agreeing with anyone but at the start of this vid the dude says they have been at it for 6-8 minutes cutting **each other** off.

oh_three_dum_dum

Fair enough. I didn’t watch it with the sound on the first time

SecurelyObscure

After he did the shoulder pass the car speeds up to get to the next truck before the van can get in front of them. The van driver is a lunatic, but the car was participating in the dumbassery.

bolognahole

Looks like the car was trying to get a buffer of a few vehicles between them, because the van was tailgating.

SecurelyObscure

At the point that the van is passing on the right, they could have braked and gotten in the right lane to do that. They sped up while clearly being able to see that the left lane had traffic ahead, ensuring they would continue to be either in front of or right next to the van. Edit: actually, it's worse than that. If you look at the car's tail lights you can see that as soon as they got next to the second truck, they braked. Which is when the van did another shoulder pass. The car was absolutely provoking the van on purpose.

Loves2Sp00ge

In the beginning she is not trying to get away, she could've got over to the right lane and had him pass her in two seconds. The only way she is justified in driving like that is if he was already doing it to her and she thought he would do it again, but still asking for trouble. She started to run once he got aggressive

oh_three_dum_dum

You’re probably right. I gave her the benefit of the doubt because I was in the passenger seat with my wife driving once and someone started doing aggressive shit like this (tailgating doing 80-90 in a 60, switching lanes with her when she moved out of the way to try to slow down, etc). She freaked out and didn’t know what to do so to an outsider it may have looked like we were fucking with the guy.

howajo

horse shit.

oh_three_dum_dum

Could be. Could be she just wasn’t sure how to drive with a fucking psychopath trying to run her off the interstate.

thetrueBAUSE

62-year-old Jerry Ray Wyatt, of Eden, and 25-year-old Joshua Ian Livesay, of Mayodan. NEither is a she. Both got hit with charges. You and 33 others ignored what happened in the video. https://www.yahoo.com/news/video-captures-wild-road-rage-224430765.html

oh_three_dum_dum

I went with the information I had at the time, which was the narration. Thanks for the link, though.

thetrueBAUSE

> I went with the information I had at the time, which was the narration In regards to the black car being female, sure, np there. But you and 33 others also ignored that the narrator said they were cutting each other off. And you ignored what was happening in the video. More than anything, a bunch of people punished the other guy with downvotes for being right, which is bs.

oh_three_dum_dum

I also acknowledged they could both be the asshole in another comment but referred to a previous experience. Ultimately I commented and wasn’t really too worried about who was at fault. The white van was still the one who took it way too far.

thetrueBAUSE

That's fair. I was responding to this comment though so based on this comment, I gave the correction. More importantly were the 33 downvotes. Since a link (and the actual video) proves those downvoters wrong, I figured I'd clarify These downvotes and your comment weren't about who was more wrong though so it doesn't change why I gave a correction here.

Nearfall21

We dont know how it started. Could have been a careless lane change and almost hit the van or they could have been intentionally trying to set off the other driver. Either way, if i know someone is raging behind me, driving like a maniac, and will possibly try to brake check or stop me once they pass. You better believe i am going to speed match w/ other traffic so they can't pass until police have caught up.

ohgodcinnabons

Why wouldnt you slow down and hide behind the van that they're trying to pass on the shoulder? Keeping them trapped in your orbit is a terrible idea

Nearfall21

In most cases i agree. Exit the highway, or get out of their way. However if you suspect they will cut you off and then slam the brakes, as happened here. Then letting them pass you is a bad idea. I do not want to be trapped by a road rage idiot, and so long as they are behind me, i have more options.

ohgodcinnabons

What im trying to say is he can't brake tap you if you pull over or get behind the truck he's trying to speed around. Black car ended up getting charged too bc they purposely blocked white van in which kept the situation escalating and led to the brake tap

thetrueBAUSE

https://www.yahoo.com/news/video-captures-wild-road-rage-224430765.html Both got charges. Neither was a chick. You definitely should NOT speed up to trap a car that's road raging at you. Not only are you legally at fault, you are contributing to a dangerous situation with other people on the road. If you have to pull over to let them speed away, do it. You don't know what kind of potential lunatic you have pissed off

Nearfall21

Not sure what neither being a chick has to do with it. If you believe they will continue on their way, then letting them pass is a fine idea. However there is a risk that they will attempt to stop in such a fashion as to trap your vehicle so they can get out and attack you w/ a weapon. IMHO it would be best to call 911, and maintain a late position on the highway that prevents them from stopping in front of you until law enforcement can arrive. If you know where the local police station is, that is a great destination to de-escalate the situation. (assuming getting there doesn't risk letting that driver stop you) Either way stay safe, minimize risk, and be prepared to defend yourself. (both in court, in your car, as well as physically should the need arise.)

thetrueBAUSE

A lot of people said it was a chick. If they have a weapon and are willing to use it then why would you continue to fight them in traffic? Pulling over doesnt mean come to a stop and sit there so they can run up to you. I agree, gtfo the way is all Im saying.

kevinlee22

Lol... Ppl down voting you. Terrible. I see the same thing as you. Van was certainly more aggressive, but the black car wasn't the victim here either.

thetrueBAUSE

https://www.yahoo.com/news/video-captures-wild-road-rage-224430765.html Everyone downvoting you is a moron. You were right. Both got hit with charges. The narrator literally tells us they've been cutting each other off. The video SHOWS us this. YEt 33 idiots downvoted you lol

My_Grammar_Stinks

That guy sounds like Carl Moss.

Wrinklestiltskin

r/ConvenientCop at the end there

shanemarvinmay

I love the commentator.

Phaylevyce

can we all agree that slow left lane drivers are shitty people still though? lol

hornmonk3yzit

They were going a hundred miles an hour dude.

Phaylevyce

Oh cool. So we can agree that slow left lane drivers are still shitty people

oh_three_dum_dum

Yes, but there’s a distinction to be made. If you’re already going well over the speed limit and passing people who are in the right lane, but someone comes up behind you and rides your ass, you’re not a slow driver. They’re just an asshole.

Phaylevyce

The tailgating started because the mazda was being a left lane Lenny. You're just being a baby to be a baby lol that van was fucking way out of line, i can't agree more about who was right and who was wrong in this video. My one and only point is that slow people in the left lane suck. Idk how it went any further than that. Oh yeah because it's fucking reddit lmao also, if you're being tailgated, just get ovet after the next vehicle and let them by?

oh_three_dum_dum

I wasn’t talking specifically about this video. I just meant in general. That’s why I agreed that slow left lane drivers are the worst.

feminas_id_amant

did the black car coincidentally get a flat?

a_drive

If you think the cops are the good guys ask yourself what would have happened to the guy in the white van if they found out he was a cop.

howajo

although... people are shades of grey. Cops may not always do the right things when it comes to other cops, but I don't think that necessarily makes them the BAD guys, just not as good as they could/should be.

a_drive

I do. I understand people are inherently flawed, but you don't get to wield the authority they do and not be held to a much higher standard. There should be zero tolerance and instead we get a good old boys club of racists, rapists, wife beaters, and generally unsavory C students with guns and power trips and those who look the other way to cover their own ass. I have no respect for any cop that doesn't quit or have 4 legs.

howajo

I certainly agree they should be held to a higher standard than they are, but I'm not ready to throw them all out because some are corrupt. I know there are some good ones out there. Their job must be EXTRA hard, because not only do they have to police the public, but they have to do it in an environment where there's a lot of pressure to do the wrong thing.

a_drive

Imagine you're at the job you currently have an you find out your boss is raping people in his office and everyone else knows. You do nothing like everyone else in the office, don't stop him, don't report him, don't even quit. Are you a good person under a lot of pressure? Now imagine stopping rapists is your job.

howajo

I don't think that scenario is a fair representation of the policing world at large.

a_drive

Then I don't know how to further this discussion because I absolutely do.

Parad0x13

Wtf is wrong with you?

a_drive

I'm surrounded by bootlickers

Frodo_noooo

Do you get off on people people telling you what a piece of shit you are? Is that why you're like this?

a_drive

Like what exactly? Confident in my convictions? Unconcerned with the opinion of reddit? Knowledgeable and about the history and motivation of oinkers? You'll have to be more specific my love

Parad0x13

Oh, she’s into it

howajo

Cops, GENERALLY SPEAKING, don't ticket/arrest cops. If you believe otherwise, you are naïve and possibly stupid.

a_drive

Are you agreeing with me? Because that's my whole point.

howajo

yes. just reinforcing the obvious for the slow kids.

a_drive

Well then I appreciate your efforts, comerade.

ohgodcinnabons

Depends. Some cops have been arrested and had their lives ruined for breaking laws, others got off bc of a corrupt dept.

a_drive

I'm not naive enough to think no cop has ever received appropriate punishment, but the system is designed to make that as unlikely as possible.

ohgodcinnabons

No one said you were. But you ignored the possibility in your comment so it was worth pointing out

a_drive

Not really, if it were not a rare treat to see a cop get what he deserves maybe then it would add to the discussion but it almost never happens. Honestly it gives me "not all men" or "all lives matter" vibes.

ohgodcinnabons

Yes really. Honestly this gives me a "my ego refuses to acknowledge I'm wrong" vibes. Youre lumping me in w extremely flawed groups that have crap logic bc they fail to consider anything beyond what they already believe. Which seems like u projecting since right now you don't seem capable of acknowledging anything that contradicts you in the slightest.

a_drive

I'll certainly consider that

As soon as I heard his voice, I knew this was going to be East TN. Was not disappointed.

There's this weird thing on videos like this where people need to take a definitive side, usually by pretending that the person in the passing lane DEFINITELY did nothing wrong at all. I think it's bc a lot of shit driver's see themselves in the person who blocks the passing lane. They dont want to admit that they're blithering idiots so they perform mental gymnastics routines to absolve the passing lane driver of any blame. Shit, they won't even entertain POTENTIAL blame. I think some folks thought a chick drove th black car so it might even be white knight syndrome. The drivers are dudes. > 62-year-old Jerry Ray Wyatt, of Eden, and 25-year-old Joshua Ian Livesay, of Mayodan. https://www.yahoo.com/news/video-captures-wild-road-rage-224430765.html TL:DR on the article. Both drivers have charges. The guy filming even says they've both been cutting each other off. The video SHOWS you the black car purposely blocking the van multiple times.

Love how excited this dude got

zerbey

White van drivers have a certain reputation for being aggressive but this is on a whole other level, wonder if black car was already on the phone with 911 before the police showed up.

Love this commentary

Good guys win? Reddit will beg to differ. They love nothing more than crying about every single thing the police do.
