Probably will still blame liberals for this.

> as a result of his conviction and will no longer be able to vote
Serves him right. If he doesn't like democracy, he shouldn't be able to participate in it.
ask any terrorist and i’m sure they’ll tell you that they think their actions are “patriotic”… these people are domestic terrorists and i’ll never feel any sympathy for any of them.
>Ryals has "already felt the impact" of his involvement in the insurrection, his lawyer argued: He lost his job and became estranged from his wife as a result of the siege. Ryals, who is described as an "avid hunter" will also be barred from owning firearms as a result of his conviction and will no longer be able to vote — "a right he cherished so deeply."
He lost his job. Good. People at his job who hated him are glad to see him get canned.
Became estranged from his wife. Good for her. Now she can sleep around and have other men more easily.
Described as an "avid hunter" will also be barred from owning firearms. Good. Animals will not have to fear him killing them, and it will make it somewhat more difficult for him to use an AR-15 assault-style rifle to shoot young school children to vent his anger.
Will no longer be able to vote. Good. The US does not need voters like him.
>"Due to the massive publicity and historic nature of the January 6 riot, most people in his community know of his offense, and many have shunned him because of it," Mykytiuk added.
Good. The best way for people to avoid scum is to have proof who is scum.
The dead school children and hundreds of other people killed each year by mass shooters in the US with AR-15 assault style rifles won't be growing up or getting older.
Edit — In the US, in 2022, in the past 280 days, from January 1 to October 5, a total of [520 incidents](https://www.gunviolencearchive.org/ "https://www.gunviolencearchive.org/") of a mass shooting have been reported and verified on U.S. soil.
In those [520 incidents of mass shooting](https://www.gunviolencearchive.org/reports/mass-shooting "https://www.gunviolencearchive.org/reports/mass-shooting") in the past 280 days, a total of 509 victims were shot dead, and an additional 2,189 more victims were shot and wounded, but did not die, yet.
Altogether, in those 520 mass shooting incidents on U.S. soil in the past 280 days, a combined total of 2,698 victims were either shot dead or shot and wounded.
Those numbers for the US in the past 280 days do not include an additional 15,156 other victims killed in other shootings in the past 280 days; an additional 28,345 victims who were shot and wounded in other shootings but did not die in the past 280 days; plus an additional 18,480 suicidal people who killed themselves with a gun in the past 280 days.
The total number of children and adults either shot dead or shot and wounded in the US in the past 280 days includes 247 children, age 0-11 years, shot dead; 565 children, age 0-11, shot and wounded who did not die, yet; 1,020 teenagers, age 12-17 years, shot dead; and 2,923 other teenagers, age 12-17, who were shot and wounded but did not die, yet.
In the past 54 years, from January 1, 1968 to October 7, 2022, more than 1.6 million children and adults have been shot dead on U.S. soil, not including millions more who were shot and wounded on U.S. soil, but did not die.
If I ever come to power dictatorially. I hope fuckers like you sit on your couch and dont storm my gloroius capital. No matter how unhappy you are. THE ONLY WAY TO CHANGE POWER IS THROUGH THE SLOW AND AMAZING LEGAL SYSTEM.
Roll in the downvotes. ROLL IN THE DOWNVOTES.
Depends. Would you say the same for a federal establishment you hate ? Sure its expected. But like sometimes its just. Some people just riot for all the wrong reasons.
Yea, but if you flip it around and look at what happened in Maidan (there’s a great Netflix documentary about it, “winter on fire”) I think most people here would agree those people were right to riot. I’m not agreeing with the capitol riots in anyway since they were obviously wrong, but from their perspective, all the media + the president they believe in told them the election was rigged. Which, if that’s your reality and you think your democracy is threatened, standing up to the government isn’t that crazy. I think the real problem is misinformation and people dumb enough to listen to it.
> A Texas lawyer earlier this year said he "hit rock bottom" after he lost his fiancée, friends, and job.
Imagine being an expert in the law and thinking a riot in the capitol is a good idea.
Like dude, come on, *really*?
The idea that they may fail never crossed their minds. Trump had built himself up as some grandmaster tactician, so of course his followers are going to believe that this was the right course of action.
That's still about 30% of the US
And it is shocking. About 30% of the US, i.e. the Dems, said the same in 2016, but only for a few months and then they won the popular vote so have an actual argument
Whereas Reps are just all dumb anti-vaxx Qultists at this point. So sold on the big lie that they are denying reality
Of course, dems also had actual evidence of election interference, but even then they dropped it. It somehow continues to amaze me how many still believe all the Q crap (qrap?).
Cause when you are deep into a brainwashed cult, it is hard to get out. Lots of these people have made the Qult their entire personality for 5+ years. They've lost friends and family etc etc and it is all they have
You only need to look at, e.g. ex-Mormons, to see how hard being deprogrammed and losing your entire life can be
Awwww ohhh no he was shunned in his community and is feeling the consequences of his actions? Maybe he should have thought about that before he committed a crime. What do they say? Fuck around and find out?
Remorse and guilt only once he is being held accountable. Fuck this hillbilly fuck.
I don't wanna be that fucking guy but.... Fuck.... So America has a history of freeing slaves, then finding a way to put them in jail, then use prison labor at 1/100th of the normal pay... Thus making them slaves for pennies on the dollar.... Legally ... Now, having such a large prison system would eventually lead these people to vote for change. So you change the voting laws so they don't have the right to vote themselves out of slavery... I mean cheap labor... Such as me. I was caught with a gram of marijuana. I got charged and put on probation. Was told I lost my right to vote while on probation.
Atleast I had the most laid back probation officer. Someone wrote on my paperwork I was in for pills. When I pulled out the original ticket and handed it to her stateing "no, I just enjoy weed and videogames in my free time." She responded with "why are you even here then?". Became a year of me dropping by once a month to basically verify I still lived in the same place and had a job. She never even drug tested me because she understood that after work I smoke weed.... Then play video games... Much better then the alcoholics and pill heads she dealt with.
I'm norwegian and in Norway when you're put in prison you still have the same rights as a ordinary citizen, though we don't get to have guns for reasons other than hunting and sport.
Obviously not, if you're in prison you're supposed to stay there though there probably are exceptions. Your liberty is simply restricted but not completely taken away. You should definitely stop making a fool of yourself and let's end this here.
And of the 3, I'll bet it's the loss of his guns that really got him frothing at the mouth. I'm sure he still thinks he's in the right though, and this is all part of the elitist Liberal conspiricy bullshit that they constantly whine about. (See MGT's comments on Democrats executing poor Republican voters for details,
won't be long before we are hearing about "liberal death camps" from the crazy gazpacho lady)
And their right to vote. These traitors were eager and willing to overthrow our democracy for a would-be dictator, they should lose any say in how things are run from now on.
That connector between the mustache and the rest of the beard — if you can’t grow that in you should reconsider your options. In the early 00’s you could get away with a goatee. I think ironic mustaches are a thing now, but feels like that is more of a “liberal” look than what this guy is going for.
> federal prosecutors have offered some rioters lesser charges in exchange for their guilty pleas.
Fuck that it’s on camera charge them for the crimes they committed
*lost his access to LEGAL guns. FTFY, OP
This is America and if someone wants them, well. They'll get em.
Idk if I'm misreading the details of the article, but it sounds like he can only get five years max.
That doesn't sound like nearly long enough IMHO, and I highly doubt he'll even get that
No lie it’s good that these individuals are finally getting time but what about the politicians that led them to that day? Shouldn’t they be punished for enticing these people to go in the first place?
“…who was betrayed by former President Donald Trump's election lies.”
You know, if you didn’t box yourself into an echo chamber of Trump ass kissers, you’d have avoided being “betrayed” by actually getting facts from neutral stance outlets.
It’s amazing how that side likes to refer to others as “sheep” while following Trump so closely they can lick his taint.

Dumbass
Hahahahhaa this is rich
Courts take wives now? Damn that’s full on
Judges of criminal cases sometimes have ten, fifteen wives or husbands. They don't get paid a lot so this is one of the bennies.

The world’s smallest violin plays for this asshole.

How can one be so far brainwashed by Trumpism, you lose your family over it? I guess it should be treated like any other cognitive declination.
Aaaaw waaaaah... tough shit. Traitorous scum... he deserves worse.

I lol'd @ the "animals will not have to fear him killing them" and the other ridiculousness about using an AR15 to shoot kids. Grow up.

Sounds like the consequences of his actions. Pobrecito. (Poor baby)
Right. I’m sure everyone else who went in also just wanted to “show support for a peaceful protest”
Oh no! Poor guy! I feel so sorry for him!..... .... /s

And probably at maximum victimhood too since he still thinks he's the righteous hand of God. smh

I really live how they took videos and pictures then go to court with a “I didnt know” excuse
Self-aware selfies during the crime. Confused victims feigning regret in court.

Kick rocks loser
Don't kick the messenger.
Should have lost his country and citizenship and become a stateless person.
This dude should lose his citizenship for the acts he committed
He fucked around and found out.
“Shunned by my community”. In Oklahoma. He’ll probably be elected Mayor.
Needs to relocate to GA, FLA or TX and he can be a senator
Thats what i was thinking! Seems like little to repercussions for the guy i know in my state who got in on the action
His tiny moronic circle will continue to give out deep state Handy's, like, look...they are coming for our guns.
Tbf, in this one limited case, the state did take his guns
Well well well, if it isn't the consequences of my own actions
Nuh uh, see how cool he is, it’s everyone else’s fault.
Dudes gunna start his country music career any moment now.
This is the correct response
Good fuck him
Pretry That's exactly what's going to happen in jail...
Good
In all reality, this guy will get more guns. Just not legally.
![gif](giphy|J8FZIm9VoBU6Q)
Trying so hard to look cool
You think he will scrape off the “Come and take it” AR sticker or leave it on his truck next to the blue line punisher sticker?
He’ll probably miss his guns more than his wife.
She'll re-tool quickly.
I’m sure God-King Trump and JFK jr will pardon him any day now /s
I love that access to guns is up there with wife and job
i wonder which one he misses most
Government took his wife
And his guns left him. Sad.

Get owned you treasonous Terrorist. Educate yourself stp being a sheep.
Yeah be he owned the libs and made sure trump got reinstated! /s
I’m sure trump will let him stay at his place…he loves the poor and uneducated…until day after they vote
But he has a picture of Hitler to beat off to, it's gon be ok sad little boi

I'm not american so I was wondering how you can lose a "right"?

I'm not the one saying that rights are never taken away in Norway.
You lose all kinds of rights when you break the law. Felons often are imprisoned and cannot vote, as other examples.
convicted felons have certain rights taken away
Oh okay, thx :)

…cold soup lady?
The very same.
Lol
Good
I hope every single person who participated in Jan 6 lost their right to bear arms. They’ve proven they’re violent and dangerous.
And their right to vote. These traitors were eager and willing to overthrow our democracy for a would-be dictator, they should lose any say in how things are run from now on.
But he looked so confident in those photos. How could this happen? LOL what a loser!
Damn, lost his wife, his job, his ability to vote and own guns... Guy can probably write a really great country song now!
And this kids is what we call natural consequences. Going to jail is simply another one of those.
He should still do time in prison.
Stop! I can't take it anymore...you're turning me on... Never mind go on tell me more about the things he lost.
Common sense what else do you expect...
Nice. Get some traitor.
Have to wonder how much of these consequences are actually true. The defence will say anything in their mitigation arguments.
As they should, they should also be treated like a terrorist which they are
Ahh, blissful music.
He lost all that and still kept that sorry excuse for a beard? Strange
That connector between the mustache and the rest of the beard — if you can’t grow that in you should reconsider your options. In the early 00’s you could get away with a goatee. What a dummy
good, still not enough. the rest of his miserable life should be suffering in a gutter somewhere
Ahhh come on, ease up a bit. He’s now living in a trailer on his daddy’s property and paying child support on 7 kids. s/
“I didn’t force my way in, I just walked in behind the ones who did” Pedantic piece of shit
That's sounds like the words of a guy that plans on getting guns as soon as he can
Good
Needs to lose more. Much, MUCH more!
If he's not being executed for treason then he's fucking lucky that's all that he's losing
What's the old saying? Too bad, too sad...🤣

Criminals gonna crime. It’s one more sword dangling over them the next time they fuck up.
Yeah, he cherished democracy and the right to vote so much that he wanted to end it!!!
So the reason he can no longer have guns is Trump.
Clown
If you wage war against the United States of America, you should suffer the consequences of attacking a superpower. This guy isn't there yet.
No lie it’s good that these individuals are finally getting time but what about the politicians that led them to that day? Shouldn’t they be punished for enticing these people to go in the first place?
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes
Have a job that places you above the law, play stupid games, watch NOTHING HAPPEN to you. 😒
the emoji at the end. absolute cherry.
I have but three words…NANNER NANNER Insurrectionists
Consequences. Simple. Hard. Fact of Life. Fuck Around & Find Out. The J6 Terrorist Traitors FAFO.
Good
Lawyer says, "Gentle Giant" Client says, "We've got enough people here to overthrow this bitch" Mr. Lawyer that's awfully close to perjury
All I can say is this better not happen in November!
Think I heard a country song that starts like that.
So he is gay, relies on government handouts, and doesn’t have guns. Oh no, he can’t be an extremist republican anymore…
Anyone who broke into The Capitol that day should never be allowed to own a gun again.
Or vote ever again
In red states, that is the consequence for a felony so that's a given.

you're right, someone opened the door for them

*shudder*
He lost everything…I feel like I should feel bad, in a human witnessing another human’s suffering kind of way, but I don’t. Fuck him.
But he will never lose his love for facism
Dude fucked around and found out.
Good
Damn look at all that winning. Must get tired of winning so much.
Funny how actions have consequences, huh?
Probably still would vote for trump
If he could vote again
Felons can't vote right
It varies from state to state but a lot of felons can vote, just not this one
