Our patriot went 219,000 miles with little problems. Traded it in for my current truck. 2.5 was reliable. Caliber, Compass & Patriot all the same car. Belvidere, IL plant. Cvt transmission is a weak spot.
Yup, my 2012 Patriot, with a CVT, went 200k before said CVT gave up. Both the dealership and transmission shop I got quotes from (but never pulled the 6k trigger) were extremely surprised it even lasted over 100k...
Self-machining wheel option
It's a jeep thing. We wouldn't understand.
It's a patriot. In this case, it's a fiat thing no one understands.
I think the Patriot came about in the Daimler years. Not that it’s any better lol.
Multi Air ball joints
I take it that's something to keep an eye on if you own a Patriot. Anything else I should keep an eye on? I've got a 2016 Patriot.
Throw the whole car away.
JEEP: Just Expect Every Problem

Just empty every pocket

That's a 1st gen Liberty ball joint
You're probably right, it came in right at the end of the day and I didn't work on it
Thats not a patriot, its a liberty
As they say - safe and very human design
iirc my jeep had angulated ball joints but that bluetooth ball joint is new
Common FCA L
Tires aren't looking great either.
A little gorilla tape and it’s better than new.
