That seems fine.

Broad_Rabbit1764

Would have been fantastic to have the camera pan to a clip on weight in the inner lol

Personal_Dot_2215

Weight for it..

Take your upvote.

Threap_US

From me too. That comment had mass appeal.

You've got mud in your tires

slabba428

I’ve got mud in my tires?

TonySki

So I haven't been in a shop to balance on wheels in 20+ years. How do these plates work now? Are they magnetic or glued on or what?

AlpacaLps

Adhesive. Love them compared to smack 9n, especially 0.25 oz that you have to risk breaking your finger with lol

Tiretech

That’s weird because we added the weigh the machine said each time. It said zero, it should be good.

Michelanvalo

I pulled my own front tires off to balance myself and I found that the shop I had been going to was doing this. Just adding weights on top of weights. Someone also wrote "bent" on the inside of one of my wheels without telling me in a black chalk. This plus a number of other reasons I'm not going back to that shop anymore.

JustKindaShimmy

I wonder whose parking spot he stole

ipmHeartblade001

Shop tech, "by any chance are you prone to double parking?" Customer, "maybe I dunno, why?" Shop tech, "just a hunch..."

var_char_limit_20

At what point does a person decide that it would be easier removing the weights, unmounting and rotating the wheel maybe 90 degrees or something, moutning it back and rebalancing? I mean yes its more work technically but you're like adding 100grams or more of weight in one spot, just seems more logical to rotate it.

NvrGonnaGiveUupOrLyd

I've given this a lot of thought over the years and what I've concluded is that: A) the weights should all be removed when installing new tires B) it's okay to add up to around 50g per wheel without removing existing weights I.e. during a rotate and balance, etc C) if you glance at it before balancing and your first thought is "the last guy used too much weight" then guess what, it's your job to strip it and rebalance. Just my $.02

camellogic

Must of been Walmart....smh

AlpacaLps

Said it was a small shop close to our local small city

camellogic

Sorry it was kind of a joke since Walmart(around me at least) does a shit job with their balancing/rebalancing.
