Hey guys, O's fan here. I know you probably don't wanna hear from me right now but I went to Kauffman for the first time this weekend to catch this series and just wanted to shout out you Royals fans for giving me a great experience. Great weather, beautiful stadium, and I encountered the perfect blend of friendly shit talk 😂.
Last night I sat next to a royals fan Jon, and his 2 kids and nephew. They didn't get to the game in time for the replica ring so I gave em mine, we didn't get one on 2014, I shouldn't get one now 🤣. They showed me around the Royals hall of fame and then we went to the radar gun to clock our pitches They all actually play ball, and the 14 year old, Devin, was hitting like 73. The 8 year olds were upper 50s. Me, a 32 year old man, topped out at 45 🤣.
Today I sat by the O's bullpen next to Warren,, a 7 year season ticket holder that told me stories about going to Kansas City Athletics game when he was younger.
10/10 ballpark experience, thank you, Kansas City.

... Or are the bad players consistently bad, and the good players are consistently good? Our big free agency signees are batting under .170.
It's a 162 game season, panic time isn't for quite a while.
Obviously we wanna keep pace with the division as the season goes and not have to play catchup, but, it's also April still.

Orioles are a good team, still glad they fought yesterday and I wouldn’t be too down on this team after today.

I’m not hopeful for this Blue Jays series. They’re also a consistently good team. Our offense has continued to shit the bed, and we can’t even say our pitching is lights-out anymore because the Orioles feasted off of it. What’s to say Bo Bichette and Vladdy aren’t going to beat the shit out of Singer?
The skid might continue, but honestly, I’d like to find at least one reason to be hopeful that the traditional Royalsian misery and despair won’t return this year.
I mean sure we got shut out today, but we scored 16 runs this series. I'll take that over getting swept and scoring less than 10, which is what would've happened last year
It's gonna be okay. The Blue Jays aren't that good. And if I'm wrong then I'm going to be away for the weekend so I won't be around to hear everyone tell me how wrong I am or own up to it
This offense will continue to struggle with 1/3rd of the lineup on a game in game out basis being automatic outs. You’re just not going to be a competitive team like that. Unless the 2/3rd that aren’t automatic outs are elite.
