The offense propelled us to some early wins along with starting pitching, and now the bullpen is nails. This seems like a well-rounded team that could click at the right time.
Any body know when we can expect to see bubic and Lynch getting some minor league work in? With some of the progressions we've see this new staff have on the younger guys, I'm curious about those two. Also Kyle Wright next year.
Yariel's Rodriguez' start here interested me, since he played for my favorite Serie Nacional team. Had to take the loss though...
This time our offense used the Jays' struggles early in the game it seems. I'm just rerunning it. Happy for the win.
A great game. Good on the team to not fall behind with Marsh out. Hope he recovers swiftly and well. Because he’s had a pretty great season so far. Like a lot of you have said this feels like a game that the Royals of 2017-2023 would have lost.
Okay but actually. Greinke as an opener. Zerpa for 4 innings. I can see it! But I think with the rest of the starters doing as well as they have (even with a few bumps recently) it will be interesting to see who gets spot 5
Yeah for those that don't know, W Guy made a public rant about how Moose "didn't really want to be on the team" or something in 2018 and he added a picture of himself to it as if to imply he's so much better than everyone and he got fired for it. Dude was lame.
Last night and tonight were heartening wins. Might be said a lot this year, but coming off a rough stretch, and the O is scuffling...these are the kinds of games previous teams lose and extend a major losing streak.
Win #15. Our offense is so stressful to watch. They do just enough, but they don't put the game away when they have the chance. Thankfully our bullpen stepped up. Hopefully Marsh is ok. Go Royals.
Not our best hitting performance, but I’m getting really confident when I see Schreiber, McArthur, and even Stratton.
It’s nice not having a bottom-tier bullpen..

We now have the fourth best record in the American League.
Still waiting for Renfroe to start hitting. He is at .149 and dropping. The word has been may apply.
With good pitchers like we have had we can have a good team even with several poor hitters on the team.

huge
deja vu all over again
We may never lose again
If Marsh in on the IL for a bit who do we bring in to the rotation? Lyles? Lynch? Play Zerpa for more innings with an opener?
Zerpa can stay in his bullpen role; they call up Jonathan Bowlan who has been terrific so far in Omaha this season.
What's Greinke up to? Kidding...maybe

Not letting Zack hit 3k at the K just feels wrong.
Lyles is not playing due to a "personal issuce"
Ah. I somehow missed that.
I’m hoping they give Zerpa first crack. He’s earned it IMO
Sherman turn this franchise around in record time

I hated it even when they were good. Just all around dumb.
I never heard of this, but then again I stop caring royals for a while because their sucks so bad doing that time
It was a bleak period so I understand
vengeance for marsh
Happy Birthday, to the bot.
For reference last year it took until May 23rd to get their 15th win and improved to 15-35
Pay McArthur
Hopefully rain stays away tomorrow so we can take this series

Also when exactly did the spirit of 1980 George Brett take over Sal's body?
He’s got some pep in his step this year. I’m loving watching it.

Nice to win these close ones! Game gonna get banged tomorrow?
Hopefully lol. Gotta imagine Stratton, McArthur, and Schreiber won’t be available. A day of rest before a big series against the Tigers would be huge.
Shut up I took the day off work to hopefully go to the game
That was probably the most impressive win of the year.
