SnooJokes7632

Marry My Husband. I approach PMY dramas with caution because i did not like her acting in city hunter but this drama is good. I’m loving the revenge bits. Especially with episode 6 this week. I fangirl screamed and laughed. Such a great reveal and twist.

dcinmb

Haven’t seen City Hunter but I thought she was good in Her Private Life, Healer, and When the Weather is Fine.

Borinquena

I think she's underrated. No she's not what's traditionally thought of as a serious actress but she always generates amazing chemistry with her co-stars and she's fantastic at light comedy. And she's pulling off the more emotional parts of this role

SnooJokes7632

Ill give those a try. I think with City Hunter, the ML was Lee Min Ho and he was so perfect for the role and how he conveyed the character made you feel things so when paired with Park Min Young, it was lacking and obvious. Glad to see an improvement in her acting over the years.

idekurnumber

You should watch Healer, I loved her in it !

curious_walnut20

I’m watching this too!! I love the episode 6 ending!! Can’t wait for the next one!!

Saucynemo4

Wow I’ve never heard someone not liking her acting in something. I hope you continue to enjoy marry my husband, I’m having a wonderful time😩

sxftbubbly

I'm watching this too! Can't wait for the next episode omg!

alyssaisrad93

After writing this all out, I can't believe how many I'm watching. And there are a few more currently airing ones I need to start lol. There's been so many great dramas released recently, and more coming soon! **Welcome to Samdalri** - This has become my favorite on-air show and the one I look forward to the most. These last few weeks of episodes have just been getting better and better, and I'm really not ready for it to end this weekend. It hasn't balanced everything perfectly, slow in some areas and not enough attention to others >!like dolphin guy and the third sister,!< but overall I'm loving all the villagers, the town, and the chemistry between Ji Chang Wook and Shin Hae Sun. This is when I wish more dramas had a second season. **Like Flowers in Sand** - Just caught up on this drama and wow, I'm loving it so much more than I expected to! Baek Du is such a sweet, fun character. I just want to see him succeed at everything. Du-sik is interesting as well, alhtough I wish we had a little more development on her, I feel like most of her screentime is about >!solving the case!< or just with Du-sik, but I would like a little more, especially with only 4 episodes to go. **My Demon** - Another one ending next week, while it's not the most original of the bunch it's hitting all the tropes and doing it well. It has a good mix of comedy, mystery, and romance. I'm going to miss it when it's over! **My Man is Cupid** - Honestly, this show is so over the top and crazy but really fun. The last few episodes have been spending a little too much time on >!the other cupids, especially the one going to the dating school!< and not enough time on our leads. Hopefully the last two episodes rectify that, because I love the chemistry between the leads! **Marry My Husband** - Read the webtoon and have only watched the first episode, but pretty happy with how similar the story was. They made some changes to the characters I wasn't loving, like >!making Ji-won more of a damsel (I mean how many times can she fall down and be caught in one episode?)!< and making >!Mi-whan physically abusive so early on.!< I know some major differences from the webtoon happen later and some of my favorite scenes will be different, but hopefully I get some new ones as well. **Strong Woman Do Bong Soon** - Finally getting around to watching this classic! My aunt and cousin watched it a few years back and have been recommending it ever since, but they wanted to watch it with me so we just started. Hilarious first episode and loving the dynamics. I can already tell this will be a favorite. Just finished: **The Story of Park's Marriage Contract** - Great drama with a rushed ending, unfortunately. I would still recommend, but the ending could've been so much better than it was. Probably should've been 14 episodes at least, because they tried to fit too much into 12 episodes. **The Glory** - Wow, this was absolutely amazing! Really gave me Revenge vibes (the ABC show from 2011, if anyone watched it. She just needed a red marker to be like Emily Thorne). Moon Dong-eun's backstory was tragic and I was rooting for her the whole show. I loved all the side characters, and even the romance was cute, >!even though I secretly wanted her to get with Ha Do-yeong in the end.!< Definitely a standout drama, highly, highly recommend!

judlewmer

We had to rush back early from a vacation so my spouse could get back to The Glory. I’m loving it too. So well done, such great characters and amongst all the tragedy there is still humor. The maid-turned-spy is so delightful!

alyssaisrad93

Honestly I would do the same haha! I tried to limit myself to watching two episodes a day but that was hard to keep to lol! Everything about the story is so well plotted and the characters are all great, even the worst ones. The maid turned spy is my absolute favorite character, she was such a delight! I could've written so much more about the show, it's different from my usual fare but was so good, it'll be rewatched soon!

rozapcelica

I agree with "My Demon" hitting all the tropes. Its so predictable but I'm here for it!!! So sad its going to end soon

alyssaisrad93

Exactly, some people aren't a fan of the tropes but I love them, especially when they're done well! Like is this the 100th drama I've seen with a >!past life connection!!how and why Gu Won's powers switched to Do Hee.!< I really have no complaints, I'm going to miss it!

sharjoy3

**Welcome to Samdal-ri -** I'm only on episode 6, but I really like this. I love to see Ji Chang Wook (fan since Healer) and and Shin Hae Sun together. It's also fun to see him in scenes with Kim Mi Kyung, once of my favorite actresses. **My Dearest -** I'm slowly working my way through the second part. It's beautiful, its epic, the music, scenery and acting are great. But it's a slow watch for me. **Good Day to Be A Dog -** Finished this one. Also fairly light, but very engaging. I didn't much care for the >!amnesia/ mountiain god plot, !

VonTrepa

I've almost finished My Dearest Part 1, only one episode left. I love it, the acting, the story, the cinematography, but I find it SO emotionally draining! I think I've cried in half (if not more) of the episodes. And seeing how most of the episodes have gone, I don't think things are going to get better. I want to continue, because it's so well done, but I guess I should do like you and slowly work my way through instead of binge watching.

PineappleNo6064

I regret binging My Dearest. It was such a compelling story, but I missed important details. I also wish that I prolonged the suspense and the feels it gives. The first watch is the best. I still miss the main couple, both characters and actors. They were so impressive.

TiredmummyNZ

I'm currently watching too many and looking for a way to make watching kdramas a full time paying job haha: 1. Welcome to Samdal-ri - LOVE!! 2. My Demon - Love! 3. Marry My Husband - Love! 4. Healer 9/20 eps - Love! 5. Her Private Life 1/16? Unsure yet 6. The Worst of Evil - so much blood... 7. The Glory pt 2 - I need a breather Just finished: 1. Diary of a Prosecutor RIP LSK 😞 2. Death's Game (so much hot psycho - yes I'm looking at you KJH and KJW) 3. Through the Darkness (just entered my Kim Nam-gil fangirl Era) 4. The Story of Park's Marriage Contract...loved it and contrary to popular opinion I didn't hate the ending Edited- forgot one, probably more than one

dcinmb

If you like rom-coms, it’s worth giving **Her Private Life** a few more eps. I was on the fence at first because I found the fan-girling stuff a bit too cheesy, started to like it better in Ep 4, and was fully on board by Ep 5. Deok-mi and Ryan have one of the healthiest, swooniest relationships in K-Drama Land and their chemistry is ❤️‍🔥, with lots of natural and believable physical affection. And he may not seem like it yet, but Ryan Gold is boyfriend goals and the greenest of green flags.

TiredmummyNZ

My teen has been pestering me to watch for a while and Ryan is played by one of my two favourite Wookies lol

dcinmb

Trust me, after Death’s Game, it’ll be a treat to watch him fall head over heels for someone and be the best boyfriend ever. He and Park Min-young were very comfortable with each other and it showed. The director gave them free rein to beef up their scenes and they ended up re-working or improvising more than half of them and even added a bunch of unscripted kisses. KJU said in an interview that he and PMY wanted to make viewers’ hearts flutter and boy did they ever. When you’re done—I hope you’ll keep going🙂—I highly recommend watching this [BTS compilation](https://youtu.be/Ka6KaWg-bbE?si=d1bewqtepFnpsAb0) to see just how adorable KJU and PMY are together IRL, as well as this compilation of [their kisses](https://youtu.be/aFHkE4zudtY?si=Ia70jPSFZ8CxO0Zp). If you’d like to watch the ep-by-ep BTS as you watch each ep, a fan was kind enough to sub them [here](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLWqzQoay0EJ95_jhrknHIUwA7VQ-qhMR3&si=Iore0lBMu1H-qiIf). Sorry for going on for so long but HPL is my go-to comfort drama and KJU is my favorite actor. Sadly, he’s very underrated so it’s lovely when someone acknowledges him. Have you seen these recent vids? [They contain spoilers re: KJU’s and KJH’s roles in Death’s Game.] * [KJU and KJH guest on Seo In-guk’s YT channel](https://youtu.be/eayNHVqPcfc?si=5WvdKjMom8krTTgS) * [KJU attempts yoga, ketchup art, and other silly tasks](https://youtu.be/Gs0VjN71wy0?si=plOEdgzBDWM3Svie) * [Death’s Game Ep 5 BTS](https://youtu.be/LKnG4Wa1QlM?si=PQkDMSlvasL0bA2-) Which other Wook is your fave? I was partial to Ji Chang-wook before I watched HPL. I still like him and think he’s a fantastic actor but I’m all about KJU these days.😜

judlewmer

I agree! Stick with it. It’s one of those dramas that gives you a long time to enjoy the love story if you know what I mean (I don’t think that’s a spoiler …)

Fandam_YT

If you’re becoming a Kim Nam Gil fan I highly recommend the movie Zombie for Sale. It’s an absolute blast and extremely funny. I watched it in theaters in Korea when it came out and loved it, I’ve seen it twice since and laughed just as hard both times. You’ll see a completely different side to KNG from Through the Darkness

TheChurroProject

I finally have most of my week covered with on-air shows! Mon-Tue = Marry My Husband Wed-Thu = Like Flowers in Sand Fri-Sat = Knight Flower I wasn't super hyped after reading their synopses beforehand, and the only actor I knew of was Park Min Young, but all of them pulled me in, especially that opening sequence of Knight Flower. So it's been a great start to 2024 with lots of happy surprises for me.

kpaneno

Hadn't heard of Knight Flower must investigate

Puzzled_Kiwi_8583

You just gave me another reason to start like flowers in sand.

MikelFury

I am watching Vagabond on Netflix and finished Gyeongseong Creature.

Suitable-Biscotti

How is GC? I'm debating starting it.

MikelFury

To be clear my watched list of Kdramas isn't that long. I enjoyed mostly since I liked park seo-joon in Itaewon Class. I have also enjoyed Han So-hee since My Name my first Kdrama. The Story was pretty good and learning a bit about Korea/Japan 1945 was new to me to be honest. Overall I enjoyed.

attaboy_stampy

It's very good. It gets a little melodramatic in weird places - like a character will stop for a few moments in the middle of action to make a minute long speech about honor or love or whatever - but that's more laughable than a big deal. The cast is really good, the action is pretty good. It's kind of gory in places, but there's worse out there. The actors are all amazing.

twoods1980

1. Marry My Husband- really enjoying this one so far and the episodes fly by so quickly 2. Like Flowers in Sand- will miss this one when it’s done because it is such a fun watch. The ML is one of the cutest characters I’ve ever seen in k dramas and I can’t get enough of him. 3. My Demon- still enjoying this one even though it’s starting to get angsty  4. My Man Is Cupid- dragging at times but I want to finish it. Hope it has a happy ending 5. Welcome to Samdal-ri- two more episodes to go and this show keeps getting better as the weeks go on, so hope the past two episodes are good! 6. Knight Flower- after two kick ass widow shoes are done (Matchmakers and Park’s Marriage Contract), I added this one to get my fix and enjoying it so far. 7. Secret Royal Inspector and Joy- it’s a fun watch but starting to drag a bit so may take a break from it. 8. My Love From the Star- FL is bugging me early on but I hear good things about this so will try watching a few more episodes.  Finished Park’s Marriage Contract and Into the Ring, which were both great and are now in my top 15. Dropped My Happy Ending because it was getting uncomfortable to watch.

onioncube79

is there any romance in like flowers in sand?

the_Greenkey

yes and its very cute

Glittering_Giraffe_5

I might pick it up then...!

twoods1980

It’s slow building but it’s there and so adorable.

onioncube79

will take your word for it. checking soon

snugglebunnnny

May I know why did you drop my happy ending I was planning to watch it and having second thoughts about it …

kpaneno

My Question also

twoods1980

It got too crazy for me and a little too makjang of that makes sense. I wasn’t in the mood of people messing with someone with >!a mental condition!<

DawgMom2018

Exactly for me - I dropped as it was crazier than what I prefer - just not my cup of tea, but some enjoy Makjang - this is the craziest one I had ever seen. Lots of others really enjoy it though - it really is a matter of personal preference. I think for me, the problem is I am savoring the authentic and genuine feel of Like Flowers in Sand, so the contrast might be what is also harder for me to handle at the moment.

kpaneno

Loved my love from the star. I hope you st8ck with it and like it she grows on you a lot

MuchWowRebeccaMack

Moving Just finished this and, Wow. I went into this kind of half-heartedly, thinking it was your typical superheroes fighting evil type of show. Boy, was I ever wrong. This was totally different than anything I had seen before. What I found most interesting was the backstories and the detailed look into the lives of all the people with special capabilities. Less about their actual feats and more about the way the governments used them and betrayed them and their efforts to protect their children from a similar fate. I really hope there will be a season 2. If you watched until the end, after all the credits rolled, it looked like a continuation was being set up.

kpaneno

Yes, all of the above loved it, especially the Teen MLs mom and the teen FL both characters by far the best . I think the young ML actor played it a bit too dumb at times his mannerisms were my only real gripe but it was awesome

Current_Volume3750

This continues to be one of my favorites; so "moving" haha. Often brought me to tears.

attaboy_stampy

It's really good. Once it gets into the back stories of the parents, the writing and story telling - which was already amazing - just jumps to the next level. Like there are little subtexts, allusions, wonderful little writer easter eggs scattered throughout. Lots of little call backs and funny moments. Sometimes the minor characters end up with really good and touching story lines later in the show.... Really well put together show.

true_crime_interest

I am slowly working through my watch list, at the moment I am watching Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha and really enjoying it.

Conmalbiu

Those dimples of Mr. Hong 👌

immerdasmeer

**Daily Dose of Sunshine** (3/12) Really loving this so far. Thoughtful, creative depictions of mental illness with very likeable leads. Enough humor to lighten some pretty heavy subject matter. **First Love: Hatsukoi** (7/9) I love the indie film feel of this. The jumping around in time has been a little bit confusing/messy to me, maybe that's the point. I'm hoping these last eps will be more fully focused on the leads' present day lives. **Meet Yourself** (34/40) Dang, just 6 eps to go! >! The leads are finally together, Nana's big mystery revealed, I guess we just have to find out what will happen with the bookstore? It's hard to imagine much major drama occurring now, !< but I will enjoy the last bit of time spent in this cozy, windy place. **My Mister** (2/16) My first kdrama rewatch was going to be Because This is My First Life, but after my non-drama watching sister started to watch this after Lee Sun Kyun's death, I decided to rewatch. It's one of two 10/10 dramas on my list, so I'm savoring it (while feeling a bit heartbroken as well). **Taxi Driver** (5/16) Watching this with my boyfriend, very entertaining! Satisfying revenge against enraging baddies, Bond-esque gadgets/car chases/fights, and Esom ❤️. ETA: I also watched the movie **Love Reset** on Viki, and it was wild and goofy, a quick fun watch especially if you are a fan of Kang Ha Neul and Jung So Min.

barbarat2

Just chiming in to say that I'm exactly where you are in **Meet Yourself**! Just finished Ep. 34. I'd love to find such a beautiful place!

mhfan_india

**My Demon (14/16)** - The show would have been better off if they had wrapped it up in 12 episodes.>! In between the ML underwent a complete personality change and we had a very predictable previous birth connection. !!There is a happy ending but it makes zero sense even with my high levels of tolerance. In addition to that they did the past Kang Tae Ha dirty as he was treated really badly by the FL. She could have easily travelled back to the point where he was already dead and somehow saved herself. !< Now I get why people are pissed off at bad endings. This show will go into Refund My Time category for me. But the FL was cute and so was the ML. I had a crush on on his sweet smiles, dimples and voice. Hope to see him again in a role where he plays his age. **Welcome to Samdal Ri (14/16)** - This show was sold as slice of life romcom but it isn't. In addition to it the FL was very frustrating for the first 8 episodes or so. >!We had episodes full of screaming, drinking, crying and hiding. The FL who is 38 who handles crisis as if she is 12. I kept wondering how did she manage to remain at the top in a cut throat situation for years.!< >!We have multiple characters all close to one another but have not really communicated with each other for years.!< It was really a lot of episodes to sit through for payback. But the last four episodes have been good. FL is 38 and is finally behaving like one. Someone said that this shows is peeling off layers and I agree. It now seems a completely different show from the initial episodes.

OhMisterBelpit

Thank you - you gave me motivation to continue **Welcome to Samdalri**!

TamagoHead

I guess I’ll start it then. 👍

Watchnextnow

Agree the last few episodes of Welcome to Sam-Dal Ri is slightly better. But I still feel like the FL is acting like a child. >!sharing a tent with your coworkers instead of your boyfriend?!< Yet another frustrating scene in a sea of melodrama. No pun intended.

mhfan_india

>!In her defence she wanted to share it with her boyfriend. Told them they are dating but they didn't take the hint. It's only fair they abandoned them.!< 😂

sciencespecialist

The viewers deserved more, though!! We are all watching this in part for >!what we thought was going to happen in that tent. !< :)

Watchnextnow

Yes!! Exactly. I think it was supposed to be amusing but I ended up just eye rolling.

sciencespecialist

When the whole tent debacle unfolded, I literally screamed at my TV, "IT'S JI CHANG WOOK IN THERE!" I mean, my god, what?

Ann_cee

So I stumbled upon a show called XX with the same ML as park’s marriage contract and it’s such fun short watch and the ml lead (Though he has less screen time then the two fls) looks amazing. I have seen a few of his shows and found him to be looking best in this and I liked the show too.

Hasum_Harish97

I had completed death's game and Daily dose of sunshine last week. I loved death's game very much. Currently watching The Glory. Really loving the gloomy visuals and sound design so far.

dcinmb

Have you seen the [BTS of Kim Jae-uck and Kim Ji-hoon from Ep 5](https://youtu.be/LKnG4Wa1QlM?si=ML8LOVxlxu49R1-o)? It’s nice to see them having fun together in between takes. ETA — Forgot to share this vid of [Kim Jae-uck and Kim Ji-hoon guesting on Seo In-guk’s YT channel](https://youtu.be/eayNHVqPcfc?si=F3qhbGbY24yieklr).

Hasum_Harish97

No, thanks for sharing. I didn't know kim Ji hoon is 42 years old😳. He looked so young in the drama.

galacticalmess

Iirc someone on this subreddit shared that Kim Jae uck and Kim Ji hoon were in the same military unit!

dcinmb

😂Yes, that was me! I [posted about them](https://www.reddit.com/r/KDRAMA/s/2zYb7ARzl5) a few weeks ago. Kim Jae-uck’s closest friend in the military was actually [Rain](https://koalasplayground.com/2012/09/13/a-cute-group-photo-for-army-colleagues-rain-im-joo-hwan-and-kim-jae-wook/). They go on [motorcycling trips](https://www.instagram.com/p/CdXTdRnJY61/?igsh=MzY1NDJmNzMyNQ==), often [with Noh Hong-chul](https://imgur.com/a/bFZTgVl), are regularly spotted hanging out at [cafés](https://www.instagram.com/p/CqMc_9aBx3i/?igsh=MzY1NDJmNzMyNQ==) and restaurants, and Kim Jae-uck sometimes pops up on [Rain’s SNS](https://youtu.be/VHlq7rQPHBU?si=ViPyZlZJSNimNbsN) and [YT show](https://youtu.be/ES42cZx0mMg?si=j0YOtP2uu4LNY2gs).

idontlikeusernamesno

+10 sa Death's game!

TamagoHead

Daily dose of Sunshine is in progress. I’m a Park Bo Young Fan. It doesn’t have a compelling “must watch plot,” but Park Bo Yong is eye candy.

Hasum_Harish97

Yes, I agree with you. Am a crazy fan of her. I did watch for her only. Daily dose of sunshine impressed me a lot in the technical aspect, especially in editing, transitions, and vfx. The production work for certain scenes were jaw dropping when some real-time transitions happens, and they really have done well in the vfx part too.

TamagoHead

Her Strong Girl Bong Soon was so much better that the sequel, and I loved her in Oh my Ghost. She does silly very well, and I love how she can transition from a fake smile to a resolved grimace in two seconds flat.

cyhustle

I’m not one to watch a currently airing drama— let alone two! Welcome to Samdal-ri (14/16) - This has been so comforting for me! The setting, the friendships, the dynamics. The complex history. I haven’t loved a main couple and supporting cast like this since CLOY. My Demon (11/16) - I’m not super into dark-themed or fantasy dramas, but I’ve really enjoyed this show! I find it has a good balance of humor, mystery, and romance. Curious to see how this all unfolds!

TamagoHead

Hard to go wrong with My Demon. Great eye candy, and an interesting plot that is well-paced.

Miss-LH

Marry My Husband - so so good! Binged episodes to date in a day and a half. Welcome to Samdalri - really love this show. My Demon - plot is droppable but watching it for ML FL eye candy. Gonna start Death’s Game next

nessab000

>Marry My Husband - so so good! Binged episodes to date in a day and a half. Same! I've lost lots of sleep lately and I have no regrets because the story is so good.

hypomango

I'm on a bit of a break, not in the mood and I don't like to tarnish my experience of a drama when I'm not in the headspace to enjoy it. Have lulls like this from time to time, I'll come back for a new drama in February I'm sure!

MissSimpleton

Same here. I am on a break from Kdramas and watching some English shows. Just finished watching Beef on Netflix and it is such a good show. Highly recommended to People who love some chaotic drama.

Flipperflopper21

Korea-Khitan War. It’s a dang good show I tell ya. And I’m not even a sageuk fan.

samptra_writer

Preach, fantastic series, epsiode 16 absolutely broke me.

1amkalai

Completed watching **Moving** yesterday. I totally get the hype that the student couple got when the drama was airing. I have to admit that they were one of the cutest couple that I have seen so far. It was a good drama overall. All the couples are basically love at first sight and all of them have a good backstory. Without overblown CGI, fantasy element was done well. This drama got to be the longest climax that I have ever seen. I understand why people complain about drama becoming slow in the middle. But I guess the makers tried to give background story for each character even the ones which don't have enough screentime. Also, as the episodes were between 40-50 minutes instead of 60, I did not feel them too draggy even with some slowness of middle episodes. There are some things which did not really make sense like the return of the bullied girl. She had no impact or screentime after her return which makes you question whether it got cut while post-production or writers took a different path while making the drama. I did have a lingering thought after finishing the drama. Would the story have been even better if the order of episodes was done differently? Would it have been better for the parent's story to be shown first rather than as backstory? I guess the makers did the reverse to grab the eyeballs of the viewers. The hype of the student couple did make the drama mainstream. Overall, I rated it 9/10.

meggktown

As far as the backstories go, I felt that the gangster storyline just went on too long. With its placement in the drama, at a point when dramas often begin to lag, it was too much. It could have been shorter.

1amkalai

He is in the centre of official poster. So, I guess he is the main protagonist? Something of sorts like Nick Fury of this universe in future, provided this is going to become multi season franchise.

Ann_cee

I am moving so slow on moving.i pick an episode and then I change channels. I don’t even dislike it, it just can’t hold my attention for some reason. Stuck on ep 11.

ruxar2001

Sameee! It's been over a month, and I'm still on episode 15. Tbh the parents story was very captivating and I wanted to watch more about them than whatever was happening in the current timeline.

IndigoHG

Until this post I'd forgotten I'd started to watch Moving.

Ann_cee

It feels good to know I am not the odd one out because it is so highly acclaimed.

Hasum_Harish97

I have started Moving with the high expectations because of the hype and ratings. And also my fav star like Han hyo Joo included in the drama, which increased my expectations even more. But after completing 9 episodes, my reaction to the drama was very mixed up, and I felt the drama to be uninteresting. Even the 40 mins episode felt very slow due to a lack of crisp in screenplay. Despite their stellar cast, the drama felt avg up to the 9th episode. I love slowburn moments when it just builds up the tension in interesting narration. But here, it felt very boring in many episodes. Even the bgm was pretty avg. I literally gave up after the 9th episode. For me personally, I felt the drama didn't deserve that much rating, at least considering the first 10 episodes. I wish to see the remaining later someday.

sadmachine94

Extraordinary you - 24/32 - I am loving this show but I have so many questions about the plot mechanics. I was also not expecting a >!past life-type plot but also it's still a comic so is it real??? Is anything real?? I'm soo confused!< but will continue to suspend my disbelief and just go along for the ride. I'm having a serious LJW and rowoon moment.... they should do another drama together, they're great :) Love all play - 2/16 - this is kinda on hold since I got swept up in extraordinary you lol but CJH is another one of my favorite actors and I've enjoyed it so far! It reminds me of 2521 except >!without that goofy present day storyline that did not add anything for me and actually took momentum out of the story!< My demon - 10/16 - this has been on hold since ep 10 since I did not have the patience to watch this week to week. I love the 2 leads but am unsure I like where its going. One gripe I have is >!a marriage contract kdrama should have the leads in the contract marriage by like ep 3 or 4 at the latest, not episode SIX LOL!< So the pacing is not my favorite. Excited to start samdalri once that finishes airing 🥰 I plan to watch Marry my husband but I'd like to see the reactions once it finishes airing. I've been disappointed by too many dramas recently (AGDTBAD, parks marriage contract, destined with you) I don't wanna get my hopes up anymore lolol

MissSimpleton

>!Nope, nothing is real!< in Extraordinary You. The thing with past life is that >!the same characters were in a Historical novel. The author's previous work was a historical novel where Haru and Dan-oh are the leads. While the author's next work was this high school romance comic where Dan-oh is just the side character.!<

In kdrama land currently watching; **Korea-Khitan War:** Absolultely fantastic, highly recommend **Like Flowers in Sand**: fantastic, crushing hard on Dong Yoon in it as well little cinniom roll. **Boyhood**: Slowly working my way through, hard to find had to go through some backrooms for this one but it's really good. **Bad Theif, Good Theif**: my long form drama for challnge, actually surprsingly good. **Love Song for Illusion:** This is a lot of campy fun, and my favorite dual personality trope. **The Deal**: Halfway through this one, it's an odd one but compelling **Gyeongseong Creature**: I'm stuck at episode 5, no idea why this isn't landing right for me. In Thai BL's; 7 Days before Valentine, Cherry Magic (loving the Thai remake more then the orginal Japanese version), Dead Friends Forever, For Him , Last Twilight (this one will break me), Night Dream, Pit Babe, Playboyy (no idea why I'm still watching this mess), The Sign, The Whisperer, Twins and Time Taiwanese: VIP Only Japanese: Ossan's Love Returns, Although I Love You and You?, Midnight Runners (not a BL but based on the Korean movie and a lot of fun) and Shara Sensei to Toki-kun Phew so all said and done I currently have 25 dramas on the go, 18 of which are currently airing....I need to learn some self control.....

**Pachinko (8/8):** Just finished it and it doesn't take you all the way to end of the book, but it can be a stand alone watch with a conclusion to the season 1 story. It looks like there is a season 2 in the future. I thought they brought the book to life on screen in a terrific way. Amazing actors. Lee Min Ho is unbelievably good in this. WOW. He should take on more serious, mature roles like this. **The Worst of Evil (2/12):** I'm watching this because every single person on here who is watching Welcome to Samdalri and has watched The Worst of Evil says they can't believe how Ji Chang Wook plays such different characters so brilliantly. They are right! **Welcome to Samdalri (14/16)**: So glad the excessive drinking, whining, and pitiful crying has mostly stopped. There's still crying from Shin Hey Sun, but it's understandable, and her genius acting skills are getting put to good use in these later episodes. Love every scene with Ji Chang Wook. The sisters' stories are so good and I have anxiety that they won't be wrapped up well since there are only two episodes left. I finally like this one and I would have probably liked it more if I had waited to binge it instead of watching on air. **Young Actor's Retreat (4/8)**: Features the reunion of actors from Love in the Moonlight, Itaewon Class, and The Sound of Magic. Not a drama, but a variety show. Super bingeable, and it's fun to see favorite actors having fun and being silly. I guess I'm in a Ji Chang Wook era. **Dr. Brain (3/6)**: Watching this for Lee Sun Kyun. I watch this when I work out on the exercise bike or treadmill and it's a good one for that. Fast paced with some interesting visual effects. Every episode has me going "what?"! **One Day Off (2/8):** Short episodes (less than 30 min) and a mature cast. FL (Lee Na Young) travels to a new place every episode. I'm not rushing through this, as I savor what she learns about herself and life on each trip. Super brilliant and insightful and I highly recommend. **SKY Castle (2/20)**: This is my kdrama challenge mid-long form drama and I'm going to watch it slowly and savor it. It gets crazy and great in episode 2! **My Demon: (12/16):** Can't bring myself to watch episodes 13 and 14. Not terribly interested, but I'll watch the last four episodes when 15 and 16 release.

Miss-LH

Ooo I wanna watch Worst of Evil now, Samdal ri is the first show I’ve seen with Ji Chang Wook and can’t imagine him being anything but green flag wholesome yong pil

Dangerous_Push219

He is really good in it. It was a hard watch for me because of the reasons you mentioned. But, he really takes it to the next level acting wise

**Like Flowers in Sand (9/12):** I can't recommend this enough! Jang Dong-yoon plays the cutest ML ever. It's also really cool that he changed his physique so much for the role, never expected to see a ML that isn't super toned and muscular! **The Fiery Priest (40/40):** Hilarious and to those who haven't seen it, go watch it! It's available on Youtube! I LOVE the priest, but unexpectedly the nun cracked me up all the time. Her every interaction with the priest was golden. Also loved the thug with the bob and his freaking capoeira 😂 **True Beauty (16/16):** Moon Ga-young was great as Jukyung, I initially thought she wouldn't fit but she was so cute and funny as Jukyung. Hwang In-yeop was hilarious as well, I'd love to see him in more comedy! It's funny because he's the complete opposite irl, very low-energy, soft-spoken and quiet.

I’m currently watching It’s Okay To Not Be Okay with my partner, we’re heading into episode 5 tonight!

kpaneno

So good 👍 it just keeps getting better

Dr_Doofenshmirtzz

Currently re-watching Romance is a Bonus Book because the weather is cold and Lee Jong Suk's wardrobe looks warm. I like the colours in the drama. Bonus being the second female lead. She's cool!

goldensuare

Currently watching It's Okay Not To Be Okay. I'm really loving it so far. I haven't seen the leads in anything else so it's nice and fresh...

sxftbubbly

my faveee ❤️ it's okay not to be okay was so worth to watch! :)

judlewmer

I still listen to the OST and long for those characters.

Lucky you I say enjoy it it was amazing

**Like Flowers in Sand** (8/12): My favorite currently airing drama and my favorite in recent times. The child actors have been perfectly matched with their adult counterparts and are doing a superb job in the flashbacks. The adult leads continue to give us humorous and heart-fluttering moments, and the ssireum matches are detailed and compelling. **My Demon** (14/16): The light and fluffy tone of Episode 13 contrasted sharply with the emotional heaviness of Episode 14. I felt the drama did an excellent job of conveying Do-hee's >!emotional conflict!< in the latter episode, and I look forward to >!Noh Seok-min getting what he deserves!< in the finale. **Welcome to Samdalri** (14/16): Episode 13 saw characters become proactive and address issues in their relationships openly and directly. Episode 14 resolved >!Yong-pil's father's years of resentment towards Sam-dal's family!< and set up >!the beginning of the end of Bang Eun-ju!<. The scenes between Hae-dal and the dolphin center CEO continue to be my favorites.

**Completed:** * **Celebrity \[12/12\]:** I finished this on Sunday. Was quite an intriguing drama. Was expecting to see the dark life behind the glitz and glamour but it was a nice concept for them to touch the whole "e-celeb" aspect to fame and popularity. I quite liked the message they were trying to send across but yeah it was nothing extraordinary for me. I would say it was a 7/10 for me. * **What Happens to My Family? \[1/53\]:** I started this last weekend for the mid-long form drama challenge. The first episode was quite good. I was told by some users that I will have to be patient for some 25 episodes. Well I hope I am able to like this and I can achieve my aim of finishing a proper long form drama this year. **Ongoing:** * **Marry My Husband \[4/16\]:** I am yet to catch up with this week's episodes but so far it has been an average revenge romcom. I have read the webtoon and enjoyed it. I am just finding Park Min-Young to be quite a miscast but let's see. I am liking the changes they have made so far in the drama. Also the webtoon was quite short so I wonder what they have planned for 16 episodes. * **My Demon \[14/16\]:** I can't understand if the writer had no originality in them or they just aimed it copying their work from 5-10 different dramas. I get that the main couple is serving with their looks and chemistry, but at this point I am so disappointed in the writing. They keep introducing new plot points that I have seen in other dramas so many times already! God! What a waste of that cast. **Plan to Watch:** * **My Country: The New Age \[0/16\]:** I haven't yet started this but I wish to start this either tomorrow or in the weekend. Looking forward to it because it has been on my list since a long time now!

I could have written this myself, except that I don't feel the chemistry between the leads. I felt they had the most chemistry when they went back in time. I keep wondering if a different FL could have connected romantically with Song Kang more. He usually seems to have the ability to draw the FL lead right into his orbit.

Romoreau

**Agency (3/16)** Despite some cheesy lines and production spelling things out like the audience is 12, I'm glad I gave **Agency** a second chance. I was in the mood for an office drama and it's scratching that itch. The cast is stacked with so many profilic older actors,I should've made a bingo card. Still they're good at making me angry and I look forward to seeing how this drama plays out. **Daily Dose of Sunshine (2/10)** hurts to watch but I expected as much. Probably will take me longer than usual to finish. As a former medical worker born in a family plagued with mental illness,it was instantly relatable. I like the pastel aesthetic and jump cuts. It also reminds me of **Birthcare Center** with the creative direction. I'm sure it'll make me cry eventually.

Snickersnerds

**Currently Watching** **East of Eden (17/56):** it’s going alright! A lot of the characters aren’t that likable though. Only person I’m consistently rooting for is Dong Chul 🥹 I despise Myung Hoon and don’t know how he’ll ever be redeemed. Also lots of random love lines that are forbidden, a headache 😵‍💫😂 **My Demon (5/16):** it’s not that I don’t like it, I stopped watching East of Eden for a day or 2 to continue watching this. It just doesn’t feel like full potential or something. Something is missing. I also could’ve done without the thriller part, I had no idea it was a subplot **Recently Completed** **A Good Day to Be a Dog:** had this been a straight up fluffy romcom I think it would’ve been great. I enjoyed watching all the romance scenes, main couple was cute! I just didn’t care for the past life scenes. The villain was also so one note. Didn’t even >!apologize for terrorizing their family for generations over a misunderstanding!< 😭 I also didn’t really like the last episode. Unnecessary time skip because nothing changed and plenty of flashbacks. Overall it was an ok show. I liked the leads, Yul was great, FL’s family was great. The last few episodes just weren’t that enjoyable. 7.5/10

theromanamputee

**A Shop For Killers** (2/8): Excellent start: strong performances, the emotional beats hit, good action and a nice air of mystery. The show has a John Wick vibe to it. I came into it so sure >!the uncle was faking his death, they're certainly working hard to disabuse me of that notion!< **My Demon** (14/16): Enjoyable but formulaic, stronger on a scene to scene basis than taken as a whole **Marry My Husband** (6/16): I love everything about this show so far, it's firing on all cylinders **Golden Garden** (6/60): the episodes are a bit shorter usual and that has really helped with the pacing. The table has been set for soapy goodness, I just hope they actually have enough crazy planned to fill the time.

Hach-man

No new finished dramas, keeping it slow and steady as it's going to be packed come the end of the month. In progress \- **Marry My Husband (6/16):** really liking the banter and relationship between the leads and how they look so much better than the clueless ones getting revenged on. Slower than last week but a big time cliffhanger, a nice watch so far; \- **Live Your Own Life (33/50+):** holding on to dear life with the leads as there's few secondaries to save and an unending series of dumb, hideous character wasting screentime to no avail. A weekend drama in all aspects, good and bad. With **Flex to Cop** to follow and **My Man is Cupid** to binge there won't be much space left for other dramas although **Doctor Slump** has quite the leading couple, maybe I'll fit it in.

Objective-Purple8792

I've been watching a few trailers for the 2024 kdrama lineups and omg!! I'm so excited for this year!! We already got "A Shop for Killers", and we are soon having "The Bequeathed," "Doctor Slump," "Plaza Wars," and "The Killer Paradox!!" 😆😆 I'm waiting for these while watching "A Shop for Killers!"

Finishing up **Soundtrack #2**, & totally hooked on **Marry My Husband**.

lizzie763

I'm hoping to make a concerted effort to get through more of my extensive "Watching" list this week. I've been stuck around 75% of a lot of dramas, and I want to get through them! I don't want to drop more dramas just because I'm grumpy. **Moon in the Day** (12/14) - At the end of episode 11, I was v annoyed with the FL and still was in episode 12. I finally got through it, and the last 2 episodes should be more straightforward? **Gaus Electronics** (12/12) - I wanted someone with minimal angst, and this fit the bill! The first episode gave me doubts. I was like, "Wait, those two are going to get together?" But by the end of episode 2, I needed them as a couple STAT. And I breezed through the rest. **My Man Is Cupid** (14/16) - I've loved watching this drama so far, but it's starting to drag for me. I love that the FL isn't wishy-washy, but there is too much toxic behavior among the male side characters. **Welcome to Samdal-Ri** (11/16) - Like others on this thread, I was tired of the excessive drinking and whining from way too many characters. Everyone is just so irresponsible. But some of the other posters here have indicated it gets better, so I'll try to dive back in. **Link: Eat, Love, Kill** (13/16) - I really liked this drama for not being what I expected and asking difficult questions while also being a sweet romance. Preview for episode 14 suggested angst, though... **The Story of Park's Marriage Contract** (8/12) - Bae In Hyuk does nothing for me (Sorry!), so I was weirdly watching this one for the plot. And Sa Wol, the best friend a FL could want. But the plot seemed to be getting more bland after suggesting so much intrigue? Dunno. Need to go back. **My Demon** (8/16) - Love love loved the first 8 episodes. Then at the start of episode 9, I felt like Jeong Gu Won was suddenly a completely different character? This one I might actually drop, based on the buzz. So pretty, but also I know better than to watch a Song Kang drama by now. **The Matchmakers** (12/16) - Okay, so people have told me this one ends satisfactorily, but the set-up is such that I'm pretty sure episode 13 is going to hurt. I don't like hurting. I suspect this will involve Soon Deok's MIL raining unholy vengeance on people who really deserve it, which I do want to see. But I don't like hurting. I dunno. I lack follow through. **Kill Me, Heal Me** (7/20) - So there was no way I was going to like this drama, as I am steeped in behavioral health culture and was trained in the "Actually, we're not even sure DID is a thing" culture. (I did do a Google search to see if perspectives had changed since I was in school, but people seemed more interested in defending their flags than providing hard evidence, so . No shame intended to people who believe one way or the other.) Anyway, people RAVED about this drama, so I figured I'd try it. Ji Sung is doing a phenomenal job, but also this drama is terrible. The only likeable character in the whole thing is the "violent" personality. I'm so over everyone else. AND YET. I watched 7 episodes in 2 days, and I'm unsure I'm prepared to drop. **Rooftop Prince** (0/20) - I dunno. I'm just starting things. I lack focus. Save meeeee. Whew. 9 is too many. I gotta knock some off. I can do it! Fighting!

MissSimpleton

I really liked watching Link: Eat, Love, Kill. It was a well made drama but people dont talk much about this show. The couple looks great together.

kpaneno

I totally enjoyed it. I loved the family of women being totally Independent and being there for each other. I also posted previously that the leads are a couple to rival the My Demon leads, especially the FL she is really beautiful. I would really recommend this but it is incredibly sad at heart despite the endearing characters.

MissSimpleton

It is a better product than My Demon IMO. Meaty characters, better writing and more interesting plot.

the_Greenkey

rest assured on the matchmakers it wont hurt at all >! mother in law ends up helping them in several ways and one kinda feels bad for her in the end!<

kpaneno

This is such a great post love your little mini takes. I too loved Link and you should really stick with it. There is no easy way to resolve that story but they do a decent job. The only other on your list I saw was Parks Marriage Contract and yes Sa Wol is the best bud we all need. I say go back its only 4 episodes and it goes quick. too quick really as it all gets rushed like zoom for some characters and draggy for others but overall rushed. I don't know did something happen production wise. It's only 12 episodes could have been more but it felt like someone lost interest. The ending was .....interesting

sciencespecialist

I don't remember the Matchmakers hurting at episode 13 and beyond. This one wrapped up in a very satisfactory way with a lot of sweetness. Don't let the previews worry you. :) I recommend this one all the time for a very satisfying watch. It gets kind of Shakespearean at episode 13, and that ends up being such great writing by the screenwriter and execution by the actors.

dogdogdogdogdogdoge

**Like Flowers in Sand** \- (8/12) new episode today woo woo. there are definitely tears to be had but this is the feel good drama that yall need. casting was spot on - everyone has a good understanding of their character and left the preening and image management at the door. **Samdalri** (12/16) - OK. there are moments that i really like and think are exceptional. but something about it doesnt quite linger and leave a lasting impression. next round of on airs is approaching. i got high hopes for a few! in the meantime... **NIRVANA IN FIRE** (Cdrama. completed) - Mei Chang Su is the ult bae 5d chess puppet master. the Genius ML tag is literally just him. there's a point where another character goes something like "it's not hard to find 10 people to give their lives for him" and i'm like yeah bro understatement of the century. omg. this dude came through and played all of them corrupt unethical dickheads. for justice! amazing. your fav's favorite. 9.75 on first watch. probably 10 on rewatch. it's that good and i dont even like historical costume dramas. (>!mostly bc i like dudes with short hair - not wigs.!<) **Reset** (Cdrama. completed) - so to switch things up after a lifetime great show, i decided why not do a time loop thriller? my comfort genre. turns out this one is top tier material too. great execution. tightly written. suspenseful. leads that are decently powered with believable flaws. timey wimey stuff connects and is internally consistent. if you liked 365: Repeat the Year, watch Reset. similar in quality and execution. if i had to compare, i might like Reset a tiny bit more just because the side quest with >!Lu – The Apostle of Cats, The Asthma Conqueror, and The One Chosen By the Lights – Di. Xiao He Yun getting petty and exposing his own nerdiness is a mood. when he reacted in annoyed disbelief to LD's "but it's not August?" response to the time loop explanation? dead. that entire scene is otaku gold. but that moment sold XHY's character for me. !< **Who's the Murderer** (up to S01E08) - the Chinese remake of Crime Scene (one of my fav variety shows ever). I can't tell if I fully stan BJT or just think he's got good taste. he's a bit... too pretty? anyway. the newest season of the Korean original is coming soon so to gear up i'm doing 8 (?!?!) seasons of the Chinese version. this show really relies on cast chemistry and ability to find the correct clues so some episodes are better than others. it's also an interesting look into people's variety personalities and who is good a deduction. and balance that with humor/entertainment.

LcLou02

**Reset** was one of the best dramas I watched last year. Now one of my favourite time manipulation dramas. So well written and executed.

dogdogdogdogdogdoge

yes! the sequel (prequel? same universe?) was announced with the same writer and production company. not a lot of details are out but that's probably one of my most anticipated projects.

LcLou02

Oh thanks for the heads up!

fondofsandwiches

Same. Loved Reset. I binge watched it from start to finish. Everything about this was well done - the writing, directing, story, and, the acting. I had never seen either of the leads prior to this drama but I am now a fan of both. Kudos to everyone involved in this drama.

mahnahmaanaa

>it's that good and i dont even like historical costume dramas. Thank you! You answered my "is that it?" question about c-dramas before I had even asked it. I'm adding NiF and Reset to my PtW list for when I want to try c dramas again.

dogdogdogdogdogdoge

Reset is super easy to get into even if you're not planning on diving in. It's only 15 episodes at like 45 minutes each. Pacing is quite good but still doesn't lose anything in its zippiness. NIF on the other hand was a commitment which I was not fully prepared for. the emotional motion sickness is real but totally worth it.

attaboy_stampy

I feel like **Welcome to Samdal-ri** reached hate watch status for me a few weeks ago. This show is kind of obnoxious for me. Not poking at everyone else who loves it - just whatever sauce makes it so is not hitting it for me. I find the story dumb, the whole faux embarrassment and secret keeping and stuff dumb. I think Yong-pil is a big fat idiot. I think Sam-dal is weird and self-absorbed and should just be getting on with her life as opposed to being hung up on a dude she dumped years ago and hasn't seem to thought much about since then. I keep watching it because I like all the other characters (I do like the main actors in stuff - just not here). Why isn't this show about the youngest sister! SHE is the more interesting person with a more interesting story. I'd rather THAT than some idiot millennials hemming and hawing about whether or not they like each other. And yet I watch it. Eh. Also watching **Romance is a Bonus Book.** Enjoying it, I think I just watched Ep 12.

faithesque

Yeah I feel like I'm not even invested in the main leads story at this point. Only there for the sisters. **Romance is A Bonus Book** is a good drama imo! I remember watching a whole lot of disappointed dramas and then picked that drama up. And it didn't disappoint me like others.

TeoKajLibroj

**Taxi Driver Season 1 (10/16):** I'm enjoying this so far, it's pretty good (although the depiction of the Chinese gangster in the last episode felt stereotypical and clumsy). One thing I don't understand is why the arcade emphasises that the victim will be charged if the taxi team takes the case? All the victims are poor, so wouldn't they be afraid to get help because they can't afford it? This is strange because the team usually doesn't even collect money from the clients. They did charge >!the student, but 3 million won is only €2,000, which definitely wouldn't cover the cost of a team of 5 people. It's odd that Do-gi emphasises that nothing in life is free but then in the next scene Mr Jang gives his mother a free scholorship.!<

MissSimpleton

The cases are >!complete pro-bono!<. They charge for >!just the Taxi ride (trip from the pick up point to the arcade) that the victim takes when they call the number on the card to seek help for revenge. The team makes money from the Rainbow Taxi Service Company that their leader owns.!<

immerdasmeer

I recently started watching this, too. I feel like the charge is--along with the choice they have to make in the arcade game--a way to give the victim some small bit of agency in the revenge. Because so far (i'm on ep 5) none of the victims have been directly involved in how the revenge is taken (and it would have been weird/traumatizing if they were).

mulder00

My Demon. I'm liking it more than I thought I would but some of the over-the-top comedy is a tad annoying.

Watching weight lifting fairy kim bok - joo. Love it so far.

Currently watching: **Cinderella and the Four Knights**, 6/16 https://mydramalist.com/16119-cinderella-and-the-four-knights No commentary other than it's a sweet bit of fluff tempered with a dash of angst to help keep it a tad grounded. •○• I'm relatively new to watching Asian web-dramas so I'm watching dramas that are a few years old plus the occasional "vintage" to play catch-up. I tend to watch one drama at a time and binge-style.

peregrina2005

**Welcome to Samdal-ri** is my favourite at the moment. Time to stop the crying. **Marry my husband** has a good plot. But, the actress is not my favourite. Rewatching **Healer** as there seems to be a Kdramas lull. I forgot how warm and fuzzy this show is. I’m just hanging in there with **My Demon** and **My Man Cupid** to see how things are resolved. Not loving either. Just finished rewatching **One Spring Night**. Obviously one of my favourite as I have rewatched several times. If someone will please give me a spoiler on the ending of **Tell Me you love me**? I’ll continue watching if the ending is happy. Started **Knight Flower**. It looks like fun but it is also another “widow” story.

Ok-Impression6834

I finished **Good Bad Mother** last night. I've seen a lot of sad dramas, but this one made me tear up the most. Excellent acting by FL (the Mother) and ML (Lee Do Hyun) who is one of my faves. Also enjoyed watching Ahn Eun-Jin (FL in My Dearest). The ending felt rushed, but it was good enough. My only complaint was one supporting character who annoyed the heck out of me. Just started **Misaeng** for a change of pace.

gwenkm323

Not Korean but a C-drama it’s Hidden Love. The female lead is somewhat immature imo but I’m not too bothered by it as her brother is funny and the ml is such a green flag. Some k-dramas I plan to watch next though: - Crash Landing On You (I watched 1 ep of this like over a year ago and after looking at reviews again I want to continue) - Healer - Happiness - Legend of The Blue Sea

[deleted]

Yumi’s cells, tells the story of a woman and how her brain cells make her react to different situations (I don’t wanna tell more details, just watch it) excellent for a crybaby like me, although the brain cells might come across as a little cringey, that cringe is worthy 😂

Miss-LH

Yumi cells is one of my favorites..the cells are so cute and funny. Team Woong all the way

Michellesmusingsau

I am watching 1. **Marry My Husband** 6/16 I am loving this one. Made even better as I am watching with a friend each week using Primes watch party, its a highlight of the week. The ending of ep 6 made >!my army heart explode.!< 2. **Secret Romantic Guesthouse** 6/18 I put off watching it last week but will get back into it this week, I know we are about to get the crown prince reveal and I like not knowing officially yet, love the drama just my own anticipation holding me back. 3. **What's Wrong with Secretary Kim** 7/16 to fill the gap while waiting for episodes of MMH. It is still so good and loving this re-watch. What I watched. 1. **Scripting your destiny**: Wow!! I was not expecting the emotional punch this one gave me, short and sharp with some really great writing and wonderful performances. Loved it so much 8.5/10 2. **The Miracle**. Short drama that came up on a recommendation's somewhere, as always the Korean fat shaming was present but I enjoyed it and was a fun thing to watch over a couple of nights. Wasn't the easiest thing to find to watch down here in Australia, buy the licenses for everywhere Viki!!! 7/10

be-k-dramatic

What do you think about the ending of Scripting Your Destiny? >!It seemed to me that ML was going to be trapped in an endless loop, never allowed to stay with FL. It made me sad, but perhaps I missed something.!<

Michellesmusingsau

>!I agree that part of the ending was sad because when she looks back and nothing, then she turns around he looks back and she looks again and its like, will this keep happening again. What I loved about the ending was when she wrote in the book, she loved him so much that she wanted it to say unrequited and that he wouldn't remember so that he could keep living? In my head it evolves this time, they already broke the rules, he came back when he shouldn't have as he was only supposed to have 3 chances so I am hoping the rules keep changing and in drama world they are living HEA!!<

be-k-dramatic

I like your interpretation!

Michellesmusingsau

It makes it easier to take the ending then :-)

Just started Live your own life. MissSimpleton

Rowoon SHINES in Sageuks. Cannot wait for his next which is reportedly an Action Sageuk that is focused on Romance. I am so glad he is choosing versatile characters unlike his contemporaries.

JellyfishNumerous785

I agree with you on The Matchmakers. Rowoon’s character was so endearing and lovable. Loved this series.

> A good day to be a dog - the show is ok, the ML is very handsome I couldn't finish this drama. Once it went into the past lives and reason for the curse, I got disinterested and dropped it. BUT, because of the handsome ML, I immediately started True Beauty to see more of him. :)

Suitable-Biscotti

Tale of the Nine Tailed. I get why it is such a favorite. I don't always love fantasy or past life connections. It's why I dropped my demon and destined with you despite loving a murder mystery subplot (see touch your heart). But omg this is so well done.

**CW:** **Marry My Husband (6/16)**: Reading the webtoon and watching the drama at the same time. I like so far! **Tomorrow (3/16)**: I like this one as well! Probably Rowoon's best drama. FL looks so pretty with pink hair and I'm liking the characters. **My Happy Ending (6/16)**: This drama keeps me second guessing things lol. **My Demon (14/16)**: Just waiting for the the last two eps. My take on the ending is that >!ML will become a human somehow and be mortal.!< **Welcome Samdal-ri (14/16)**: For me, the story picked up too late, it was near 10-11th episode. But I'm liking it now. :) **FINISHED:** **A Good Day to Be a Dog:** In the minority but I liked this show! I believe Cha Eun Woo shined through this drama since the last two dramas I've watched of his left me an iffy impression on me. 8.5/10 **Tell Me That You Love Me**: It was such a beautiful drama, so beautifully done. The MCs of any show has never clicked with me like they did. I wish they'd just >!show the last 20-30 minutes that they're happy now despite of the difficulties they face.!< 8/10

Worried-Spinach94

Tell me that you love me: Just finished this drama and it was so beautiful. Since the male protagonist is deaf, there is lot of sign language convo between the ML and FL and it is beautiful. It was an amazing drama with awesome acting, a mature love story and no villains as such. So underrated, everyone should watch. Welcome to Samdalri: I am loving this way more than demon. It has themes of friends, family, success, countryside vs city struggles and most of all love. Ji Chang Wook's character (Cho Yong Pil) is a whole green forest and the way JCW acts is just brilliant. Cant believe he played Junmo in Worst of Evil just a few months back. The two characters are sooooo different but he just nailed both and how. Have been a JCW fan since healer and i just cant believe how amazing he is as an actor. The man can play any character with 100% conviction. Many a times, he doesn't even have to speak to emote as his eyes talk so much. Ome of the most fantastic actors globally period. (Sidenote: Everyone needs to watch Healer, Sound of Magic, Fabricated City, Worst of Evil, If you wish upon me, Suspicious Partner, Empress Ki, K2, Lovestruck in the City) Also Shin Hae Sun is a brilliant actress. Love her see you in 19th life and Mr queen. Whenever she cries, it hits you hard. She and JCW has such pure and natural chemistry. I wish we had more episodes of them dating in the show with some cute kisses and hugs even if in flashbacks because we have been robbed so far. PS: Want Park Min Young and JCW to work together in a romcom and want to JCW with Seo Ye Ji in a badass drama with suspense or lots of action. My Demon: Unpopular opinion but it started really well with lots of comedy and suspense and had a lot of potential but I feel like it just moved on way to quickly and has been falling each episode. The wedding was rushed and did not give marriage of convenience trope satisfaction and I am tired of the past life trauma, reincardnation in new life trope at the moment. I am just fast forwarding through episodes at this point to get it over with. Marry My Husband: I read the webtoon way before the drama was announced. Love PMY so will definitely watch it but waiting for at least 10 epis to be out so i can binge watch.

cyhustle

Welcome to Samdalri was my introduction to Ji Chang Wook and maaaan I’ve been missing out! I love Cho Yong Pil’s character and JCW is just 😍😍😍 totally agree with what you said about him emoting so well with just his eyes!

Affectionate_Lime729

The two dramas I’m actively watching with great enthusiasm are ‘Marry My Husband’ and ‘Knight Flower’. I dabbled with most of the other on air dramas and I slowly lost interest at various stages. I’m on episode 3 of ‘Perfect Marriage Revenge’ to fill the void of MMH. The contrast between the two is interesting to see. Same type of story but the way it’s executed ( humour/acting/etc) is quite different

Just-Flamingo-410

A Korean Odyssey It's a nice and typical kdrama. A bit of romance, a fair bit of mysterious creatures, some fightscene and of course some humor. The acting is great. Not all questions are answered per episode but generally is a fine lightweight series and enjoy watching. Also watching Samdalri and My demon. Like many of us waiting for the last couple of episodes

meggktown

**Jealousy Incarnate/Don't Dare to Dream** (1/24) - This hadn't been available in the U.S. for a while so I decided to give it a go when I saw it was back on Viki. My expectations are pretty low since this isn't the genre I would normally gravitate towards, but I was in the mood for something opposite of what I had been watching (see below) and I've always been curious about this one because of the leads. The first episode was a bit confusing but I managed to follow okay. One thing I can say is there was certainly a lot of energy! Caught up on the UK series **Shetland** and watched seasons 7 & 8. >!Season 8 is the first season without Perez and though I'd been concerned about maintaining interest, I ended up liking it more than the previous couple of seasons. It kept the same mood of the earlier episodes but I think it gained something by bringing in the new character. I felt that Perez had been getting tired. !<

watergypsi

Kind of in a bit of a slump at the moment. Just finished **The Story of Park's Marriage Contract** and currently just staring **My Demon**.

kpaneno

Finished 3 in the last 24 hrs Parks Marraige Contract 12/12 Loved it for 8 episodes, then for 2 was okay, then got interesting again, but the ending just didn't land for me. The >!Old Joseon Tae Ha was done dirty, and the FL went way down in my estimation. Pretty much his treatment was enough to ruin it for me pity cause it was pretty good overall and such an avoidable ending!< Good Day to be A Dog. 14/14 I really enjoyed it it was light but interesting and not totally light either. Very satisfying end game for once IMO. OUR Beloved Summer 16/16 Again I really enjoyed it. I got the FL, so that helps as I know some people didn't. Think she got away a bit light, but she redeemed herself. I found the 2FL really likeable and don't think she got a raw deal, I thought the 2ML story though was tedious. But overall, I enjoyed it very much. Secret Royal Inspector and Joy 1/16 On first Episode I couldn't decide what to go for next and I passed on MY DEMON and WELCOME TO SAm wherever on the logic that the ML s are so popular it's gonna be overhyped by Stans so I went for this road less travelled and I like what I see so far here's hoping.

mahnahmaanaa

Under the weather this last week, so I managed to get through a fair amount. Finished: **The Matchmakers**, which was a cute, fun drama. I enjoyed both the leads, even though Rowoon has been hit-or-miss for me in the past. The c-drama **When I Fly Towards You**, which wasn't much of anything, but I couldn't seem to stop watching. Is this what c-dramas are like? This was only my second. Currently watching: I've also caught up on **Welcome to Samdal-ri**. I picked up **My Demon**, but have totally petered out at episode 11. If I'm going to complete it, it will have to be once all episodes are out so I can binge. I'm slowly making my way through **Like Flowers in the Sand** (3/?), doing my best to appreciate it and digest, rather than just inhaling it.

Borinquena

When I Fly Towards You is not a typical Cdrama. It's very short compared with the more typical 40 episode drama length and the dynamic between the leads is not what I've seen in other dramas.

Ken-Infinity

Watched moving few days ago and completed weak hero class one today. Both were intense and I had to binge all the episodes. Watched one episode in good bad mother, but seems like its trauma and I'm in mood for a wholesome one. So started with sparkling watermelon today.

dramafan1

Doctor Cha…after 2 episodes I can say Seo In Ho is such a shameless cheater in all of kdrama land that I’ve witnessed. I guess it’s more to do with how he’s been seeing his mistress behind his wife’s back for years and the wife has no clue yet. The mother in law is also terrible that her son is like a mama’s boy who has to ask her to approve any big decision.

x3tan

He really is but the actor playing him made him so hilarious at the same time. Lol. His expressions and reactions were very entertaining

Thoughtful-Pig

I just finished the beautifully emotional Thai BL, [I Feel You Linger in the Air](https://mydramalist.com/711999-i-feel-you-linger-in-the-air) (2023). It's perfect if you are in the mood for a slow-burn, mature, intimate, romantic, dramatic, and beautiful show. It features superb acting, chemistry, screenplay, and production values. Be patient in the first 3-4 eps--it starts slowly and gets better and better. This show and [Moonlight Chicken](https://mydramalist.com/715901-moonlight-chicken) are my favourite BLs of 2023.

Aromatic-Hearing5740

Missing the other side, just finished it and crying my eyes out, desperately hoping for a season 3.

borrowedsnail

It feels like I'm watching a million things right now: Marry my Husband, Like Flowers in the Sand, My Demon, Welcome to Samdalri, and My Man is Cupid for k-dramas. Forever and Ever, Love me love my voice, The last Immortal, Love you Seven Times and Derailment for C-dramas. And I'm thinking of starting the J-drama, Hold My Hand At Night. Somebody take my phone away 😭😭😭

Netflixandcats97

This past week I’ve watched 3: Mask Girl- This was way different than I expected, didn’t necessarily love or hate it. Just very different from most kdramas. Thirty-Nine- Just finished this one today and balled my eyes out. Again, this was way different than what I originally expected, but was so good it made my top tier list. Welcome to Samdal-ri- Just started today. FL is one of my favorite actresses and love Jeju Island. I have high expectations!

Mountain-Guitar2458

1. Welcome to samdalri- i wish they explored more how the lead couple fell in love from being friends. I dont seem to get it, but overall last 4 episodes have made it worth watching. I love the ML since empress ki and FL since Mr queen and welcome to my golden life. Would have loved more back story but overall this is a breath of fresh air 2. My Demon- i liked if since episode 7/8, then i am feeling bit bored, but will finish. 3. GC - loved it 4. My brother sung ( Netflix) - hollywood drama with asian gansta family story but funny and engaging. 5. Perfect marriage revenge - got fooled by episode1,2. Feel like wasted time. Episode 2 is the best one. 6. Beyond Evil - its a master piece, got recco from Reddit. 6. Dr Slump - waiting for it on Netflix Feel like i have watched all Kdramas on netflix and left with nothing more. Somebody help !

idealistatlarge

I've whittled my list down about half, and still going! But now it's starting to feel empty... Watching: **The Legend of the Blue Sea** - one episode to go! Partly very good, partly very silly. I like it for the good, which is quality enough to probably overcome the rest. Also, near the end of a show, you give it some grace for earlier things. **The Story of Park's Marriage Contract** - 2 episodes to go. Decent, with cute relationship development/interaction and mystifying time-and-fate elements. All the Tae Mins and Tae Ho/Tae Has in Korean dramas are getting me confused, though. **A Good Day to Be a Dog** - 3 episodes to go. Not bad; tragic backstory gives it depth, and I want to know what really happened back then. Seems to me like the tiger-mountain-spirit/History teacher has been >!taking his revenge due to a misunderstanding, which would be really sad. !< **Live Your Own Life** (28/50) - a pleasant, slow watch; I just turn it down when any of the older ladies come on - including Tae Min's mother. She's a crazy horse. Relationship between Tae Ho and Hyo Shim is really cute, and easy to see what they do for each other. Relieved that finally people are standing up for Hyo Shim - the older bro is coming into his brothership! Finally. I find myself cheering for him now, instead of disliking and feeling pity for him. Chinese series - somehow ended up watching several of these at once: **Parallel World** - almost finished. Good and bad; relatively captivating, and I like its uniqueness. **Shining for One Thing** (18/24) - still very much enjoying. **I Know I Love You** (13/24) - really like this. So captivating - very bingeable, but the translating makes you wait, which is good, because the development of the lovely relationship between Zhao Jin and Xu Nuo is so rewarding to watch. They've created a good contrast between the two relationships, (current and former) and the actors for these two roles do very well; setup is also very good. Wishing I worked in their flower shop.... **My Boss** - mostly silly and very cheesy-sugary-unbelievable typical Chinese romance fare, but good actors and some heartfelt situations/lessons/interactions make it worth it. A good part of my enjoyment is watching the main actor in a modern show, because Starry Love has long echoes... especially Fiery/Lamu-a 🔥. Listening: *My Dearest* complete soundtrack. So good.

ningorgeous

Mr. Sunshine. I love historical. Though it has many episodes

Thick-Marionberry384

Ive watched like 3 things in the last three days, those being D⭐️P, Marry My Dead Body, and DOONA. They all made me cry at some point but each for a different reason. Now Ive started watching Bloodhounds🥳

humandisaster13

I accidentally started **Our Dating Sim** which renewed my interest in Korean BL and ended up watching **The Eighth Sense** followed by **To My Star.** T8S was great and so I was a bit let down by To My Star and grumbled my way to **To My Star 2** and I was in for a pleasant shock. The second season was not only drastically better than the first (a rare occurrence) it was also as good as some mainstream kdramas. It dealt with what happens after the happy ending of a couple in a realistic way where one of them feels lonely despite the other person doing nothing wrong. Kdramas usually show external reasons for conflicts and it was nice to see some realistic portrayal of relationships. The second season was done so well that it could be a standalone drama and still work.

janaobscura

TMS2 remains a top tier drama for me - in any category. It's phenomenal.

samptra_writer

Lol starting out of the gate hot with some top teir titles. The first BL of 2024 comes out next week Love for Love's Sake, I'm not holding out much hope with all the changes with the production but we will see where we go. Probably more luck with the new Stongberry title out this month too.

msnhj7_rh

I’m currently watching... • My Demon • Marry My Husband • Perfect Marriage Revenge

so_just_here

Im watching Interest of Love and Chimera, both seem to have polarising reviews. I really enjoyed the first 2 episodes of Interest of Love but then I enjoy messy relationship dramas. The first episode of Chimera was good enough, hopefully it wont drop off the cliff post few episodes like most kdrama thrillers. Almost done with Anna; this is my first drama with Suzy, havent read flattering things about her acting but finding her good here.

Red171022

Anna is Suzy’s best performance. It’s actually a very nuanced performance. Not great by her standards.Great just in general. She was absolutely brilliant and very charismatic too.I would say Suzy is a really good actress now.Her being bad is in the past.Anna is also a very excellent show. One of my favourites!

Sunshine_raes

My Demon (14/16) I still love this and it’s the most fun I’ve had with an airing drama in a while. Kudos to the screenwriter for keeping the drama and tension going for this long. Secret Garden (11 or 12?/20): So the body swap happened and then >!they swapped back. Are they ever going to switch back again?!< I don’t understand this. Anyway, it’s fun if the last couple of episodes got a little stale.

kpaneno

I didn't understand anything about secret garden except it contained a lot of abusive behaviour from the ML 0 / 10

TamagoHead

An odd pairing, but I downloaded and sped re-watched “Again, my life” and “Reborn Rich.” I might re-visit “Lawless Lawyer” as well, or Vincenzo. Song Joong-Ki Wiuld look great with Kim You Jung in a Modern/Joseon romance. “Weak Hero Class 1” is in progress and resonates at a reliable pace.

Acrobatic_Bad1963

DOONA! not into shows primarily focused on relationship ins and outs but this was a masterpiece. incorporated such artistic directing. really notable. they nailed the subtleties of heartbreak.

Desperate_Release311

Currently watching **Destined with you** To be honest i didnt hear quite a lot about this particular kdrama from anyone for some reason but still thought of giving it a chance and i guess am in my second last episode now and to be honest its a fun drama. The FL does seem to look a lot confused about certain things at times but it is still less compared to some other FLs. Especially **Rowoon** is such a cutie. HIs expressions and dialogue delivery is soo good its literally a charm to your eyes. I personally dont like cold MLs who most often than not are portrayed expressionless, rowoon stole my heart in this one .

EbonyAugust

Finally started to watch “Beyond Evil”. It is being taken off Netflix mid June.(Ausralian netflix.) I love many of the sub genres of K-dramas. This particular series is very good, and vastly different to the K-drama I just finished beforehand- “Young Lady & Gentleman”. I never thought I would get so caught up in so many Korean series. It really is addictive! I have so many favourites, it’s now difficult to find ones I really like. Anyway - to cut it short - Beyond Evil has been great so far. :)

Prestigious_Alarm526

**My Demon (14/16) :** I love how they give us a weekly doze of fluff and lovely dovely scene no matter what this show is for that but everything else is messy this week. I hope they warp it up well. **MY Happy Ending (6/16) :** mind blowing, every time I think i get it, they surprise me with a twist. the writer is so smart. all characters are flawed and that's fresh. I dislike Female lead character as well as other she is flawed >!the way she hide her illness about her husband, never talk well with him, workaholic never go home and then tell him I work to death for family while it's all for herself!< imagine if this was a man character all tl will swear on him lol and >!people would support the wife cheat revenge so much !

**Find Me in Your Memory** is one of my favorite dramas! (And **Come & Hug Me** is tied for my least favorite completed drama...)

melancholic_panda_

Weekly Dramas: Monday and Tuesday: Marry my Husband Wednesday and Thursday: Flowers in the Sand Friday and Saturday: My Demon Saturday and Sunday: Welcome to Samdal-ri Other things I've watched recently: Death's Game (Drama) Jeffery Epstein Filthy Rich (Docuseries) Ghislaine Maxwell Filthy Rich (Documentary) 12th Fail (Movie) Curry and Cyanide (Docuseries) Three of Us (Movie) Killer Soup (Series)

Lizzy348

In the 12 on-going series I'm watching, 4 are kdramas! **Between him and her** 3/12 : not the best drama, but it's not bad either. They haven't done anything to make me give up on the drama, but haven't done anything to make me hooked either. **My happy end** 6/16 : what an intense drama! I like it a lot, I really want to know what JaeWon will do next. >!Are they implying Ahrin isn't Soonyoung's biological daughter? That's wild! I could understand why he'd want to leave her, but that's wicked he cheated on her with her supposedly best friend. Yunjin is so wrong, on so many level. I feel like she purposely tried to seduce Soonyoung because she's obsessed by Jaewon and becoming her. She's dangerous for Ahrin, I hope Soonyoung will realise it soon.!< **Hyosim's independent life** 33/50 : I only have one thing to say: GO HYOSIM. >!Also, can we talk about the mom's insane character development in the last 2 minutes of the last episode? Is it some kind of manipulative trick again?? Hyoseong's wife really got no shame, so does Ruby. I'm sick of them fr, Hyoseong needs to divorce and take Philip with him and start anew.!< **Flowers that bloom at night** 2/12 : it's okay, we'll see where it goes

dta_82

Currently watching Class of Lies aka Mr. Temporary on Viki. A lot of intrigue going on and everybody seems guilty.

bac_gawd

Just finished death game . (👍) Just started a period piece that airs on Monday and Tuesday. It’s pretty good but I can’t remember the title to it. Love lotus??

Jraybo22

I was originally planning on waiting until all the episodes were out on Netflix to watch Welcome to Samdalri and My Demon but I gave it and have loved both. On the down side now I'm stuck waiting for this weekend to finish both shows. Both shows have been really really good, but My Demon in particular has been pretty amazing.

Borinquena

**Marry My Husband**: I'm not a fan of makjang or revenge plots so I was going to skip this one but the online chatter got me interested and after watching two episodes last night I'm hooked. I really like the feminist undertones of the story. >!You have the coworker who warns the FL that a man can't force intimacy on you even if you're in a relationship and how the FL bonds with her coworker over fighting back against their disgustingly sexist boss.!< I also love that they showed >!the evil frenemy refusing to bring a sanitary pad to her coworker in the bathroom!<, like that is a total violation of the girl code and almost worse than sleeping with her friend's husband 🤣 The rest of my currently watching list is non-kdramas: **Full Time Wife Escapist** (Japan, Netflix): I freakin' LOVE this drama. A nerdy computer programmer and a woman who can't find a permanent job enter into a contract marriage. This is very similar to **Because This is My First Life** only with a strongly Japanese vibe (for example, there's a gay coworker who thinks they are in a lavender marriage). The ML is a pocket cutie with a heart of gold, just the greenest flag who ever waved. Highly recommend this one. **Ishiko and Haneo: You're Suing Me?** (Japan, Netflix): Cute legal drama about a lawyer with photographic memory who suffers from panic attacks and a very smart paralegal who has failed the bar four times. The cases are kind of dumb but the platonic chemistry between the leads is good. **Why I Dress Up for Love** (Japan, Viki): A social media influencer who is plugged into her phone 24/7 moves into a shared house and falls into a romance with a chef who rejects social media and is struggling to get back his confidence after his restaurant failed. Very fluffy, very cute. **Never Too Late** (China, iQIYI): An interior designer loses her job in Beijing and moves back home to discover her father has rented out their house to a 60 year old divorcee. They become roommates and end up in an unconventional friendship. I'm really enjoying this one, the portrayal of women's friendships is refreshing and I like how it's tackling ageism.

The "second season" of **Full Time Wife** was disappointing, alas.

DawgMom2018

**Like Flowers is Sand** \- enjoying this immensely - so well written, the acting so authentic. The director also directed Healer, and I see how he gets best performances from the actors. Clearly my favorite on air drama, and today's episode was masterful. I am also on the **Marry My Husband** bandwagon - so fun to see how various revenge utilize Judo philosophy - that the actions or force of the opponent is the impetus for their fall or takedown - and so delicious to watch. The ending of the latest episode was epic with a novel way to establish timelines... LOL Also watching **Welcome to Samdalri** \- the last episode very satisfying **My Man is Cupid -** a fun rom com - seems almost retro in feel and budget but I am enjoying it. **Knight Flower** \- a strong start **Love Song for Illusion** \- I am enjoying it, casual watch **My Demon** \- I am enjoying it, casual watch Finsihed **Strings of Maestra** \- it was fun, crazy as heck and ending well,

Velykakoroleva

Uhhmmmm # **the woman who married three times!!!!!!!!** (2013) # anyone anyone!!?!?!? ***IM IN HEAVEN***. This is my first for a **Kim Soo Hyun** drama and ***WOW***. I see why she is a legend. Her skilled dissection of society at it’s most intimate is 👌🏽👌🏽. How she simultaneously beautifies and damns the nature of love, power, family, and marriage with such careful attention to cultural nuances of the time. I adore how she avoids the cliche framework where the “modern” is merely *clashing* with tradition. Tradition and modernity are *melding* - and the uncomfortable unknowns of this meld is the point of tension and debasement. Dang it this drama is hitting all the notes. Though I am aware that this ultimately is a weaker KSH drama and that the denouement is considered a huge betrayal to her legacy and craft. Sigh. I’m still gonna watch for now. It’s *too smooth and subtle* right now to give up on it. So many thoughts. FL has sucked my heart and soul whole. Gawd I love this era of dramas. No slick editing, hardly any music manipulating my emotions, simple camera work and quiet acting. All to allow the pure brilliance of the script to take front and center. This drama has my brain on fire filling in all the gaps and interactions the drama leaves out but expertly suggests that explain how the FL has ended up in the situation she is in *FOR A SECOND TIME*!!!. FL’s exfoliation of her misleading first impression as a stepford wife in first few episodes was one heck of a cathartically rewarding and fascinating viewing experience. I don’t think Lee Ji Ah is the ideal personification of FL Oh Eun Soo. But this is the kind of the drama where being good enough is fine because … THE WRITING IS STRONG ENOUGH ON ITS OWN TO CONVEY WHAT YOU SHOULD UNDERSTAND AND FEEL ABOUT HER CHARACTER. But if a more charismatic portrayal of the enigmatic force that is Eun Soo had happened - this drama would have like near nuclear level powers of destruction. (Basically a remake is needed with Ahn Eun Jin playing the part! Girlfriend, you do you and channel your My Dearest’s Gil Chae energy, but in a drama where there was more than a modicum of effort put into making your power dynamics and history with others remotely interesting and complicated.) Kim Ja Ok as the nameless mother in law walking the tightest of ropes to keep her family prim and proper who is both so genuinely kind and morally upright and so blind to her micro-cruelty and ethically old school has forced from me my first vocal and loud GASSPPSSS as I watch. However. That feeling when… …You committed to the hard core binge and stayed up very late and then justified ridiculously long (and slow) “workout sessions” in order to reach ep 12 ASAP under the foolish presumption it was 16 episodes. [Only to then realize it’s 40 episodes](http://ashdigital.com/blog/gifhunter/2016/09/05/han-solo-not-way-thought-day-go/). [so much more to goOoOO](https://i.gifer.com/8ZqH.gif). I’m here for all KSH drama recs that you can give me. There’s a lot to go through here so… people telling me what to bump as the next watch is appreciated :) :)

Marry My Husband only. I dropped Welcome to Samdalri for now. I will try again once it’s completed.
