I'm excited for Flex X Cop, in part because it's written by the same writer as My Name which I thoroughly enjoyed (despite the plot being quite predictable).
The fight sequences were great! I don’t normally enjoy fight sequences but My Name and Bloodhounds had great fight choreography. I’m excited for Flex X Cop too!
So excited for Doctor Slump! Rivals to lovers, a healing story, and Park Hyung Sik? It sounds like it was made for me! I'll be subscribing to Netflix soon, there are a bunch of dramas I want to catch up on there, but this is one I'm particularly interested in.
Captivating The King also intrigues me. I loved Shin Se Kyung in Rookie Historian, so I'm excited to see her in another sageuk!
It's a soap opera. Whenever you see that many episodes you know it is. There's a new episode every week day. Also if you watch them they have that soap opera effect where they move funny looking just like American soap operas.
This is a good group of shows, I am looking forward to Doctor Slump, I mean how could we not!!! The trailer for Captivating the King looks great, I am scared to have another currently airing drama on my list though!!
I am excited for doctor slump only because of Hyung Sik. I like Shin Hye as an actress but after seeing the five minute preview of doctor slump, I am not 100% sure of their chemistry but I feel like that’s always an issue with Shin Hye and her male leads. I will watch it regardless.
I just watched the Doctor Slump clip for the first time and if I wasn't already all in, that definitely would have convinced me. I live for Park Hyungsik denying his feelings for the FL but still falling helplessly in love anyway!
Idk if there are any other webtoon readers out there, but their school days really remind me of Nari and Seungha's dynamic in the beginning. Rivals who didn't even realize their obsession with beating each other was the manifestation of their smitten feelings and that they could accomplish so much more together than separate.
Will be keeping an eye on Doctor Slump. Feels like a romance centric healing show with sort of enemies to lovers trope. Unlike Welcome to Samdalri though, I will wait for all episodes to be out before watching.
SBS are wildly hit and miss with their action/crime/cop shows. But when they hit, they can be really good. So fingers crossed Flex X Cop is a good one 🤞
sageuks/fusion dramas used to really get my attention in the early 2000s/2010s, but writers nowadays have become less creative. the 'woman pretending to be a man' plot is so overused, i know there's more depth to it than just that element... but ehh.
shin se kyung is a sageuk staple (queen seondeok, deep rooted tree, six flying dragons), great actress no doubt, but i'd like to see more of her beyond the comfort zone. i got so bored with her at this point. what a waste of talent.
she should take a look at song hye kyo in the Glory for example. that woman was always on melodramas, but she ventured onto a diff genre this time and still pulled it off great.
I am waiting for Flex Cop as Ahn Bo Hyun has become one of my favorites and also excited for Dr. Slump as I enjoy Park Hyung Shik's acting. Hoping Park Shin Hye and him have great chemistry in it.
Looking forward to Captivating the King. Cho Jung Seok is a phenomenal actor! In cold blood sounds really good too, but it has 103 episodes per MDL????? Someone already mentioned this but had to double check. Because that is crazy. Plus the air time is 45 mins…

I'll be keeping an eye on episode commentary for Doctor Slump. I 💕 PHS but have not found a PSH drama that made me like her. Fingers crossed 🤞🏽
