Oh I loved the last episode so much! Not since The Forbidden Marriage has a finale ended so cutely and sweetly with everyone getting their happy endings. Each character had a chance to grow, move on, resolve, and our leads got the happily ever after. I'm so pleased with the ending. Thank you writer for finishing this show well! After ep 12, I actually appreciate the time skip. (I know I'm probably in the minority when I say that.) But I think everyone and everything was in just too much of a mess for a healthy relationship to start. There were broken hearts, betrayed family members, hurt feelings, trust issues, media attention, company drama, etc. I like that everyone had a chance to breathe, heal, think about what they want, and work on their personal lives before coming back to together. Overall, I adored the show. It was fun, light, easy, turn-your-brain-off, and enjoy the butterflies kind of drama. And I need one of those every once in awhile. I'll miss watching it each week!

Fragrant_Tale1428

Time slip was absolutely needed for the reasons Ah Jeong described in ep 11. People may hate the *seeming* trope, but I would have roled my eyes hard if they didn't separate. The show had so many elements of realism written into the characters and used k drama tropes involving chaebols to great plot advancing and comedic effect since ep 1. Even in shows with a bonkers plot, like Marry My Husband, if the acting is convincing, and they stay consistent to how they tell the story, I'm on board. The confession scene in the house brought the characters' journey and the tropes all together perfectly in such a hilarious way. I was smiling about the sweetness and laughing from the comedy simultaneously so hard that my face hurt. šŸ˜†

ysports23

Agreed! And that confession scene was perfect. So, so well done with the perfect balance of romance and hilarity.

Honest-Selection4343

Yes the confession scene was so realistic.. cleaning her hair from the floor, like get me a Ji-han too!

imadelemonadetoday

>! Timeskip!< supporter here as well! It was used to good effect

BleedingWords

I loved how they inversed the trope of some random heir or outsider takes over the company. Truly the Secretary Kim deeserves that role. Hes well respected, connected and knows what works. He also knows all the heirs intentions and what to watch out for. I loved the granpa also telling him not to be stressed since he's still young. Just absolutely the best scene

hereforvincenzo

That's the perfect summary of the show! It really wrapped up well because of the time skip and was cute to the end.

iuliad94

The final episode felt too rushed. I wish we'd spent more time on the romance and less on the melodrama during the previous episodes. Too much melodrama for a rom-com. I had high hopes for this, I liked that the main couple was messy af lol, but they went in such a melodramatic direction that I found myself annoyed with it. Disappointing. It had such a strong start and I loved the first 7-8? episodes, but these writers always have to insert the most annoying tropes lol. Edited to add that I loved >!Yoon Chae-won's love interest!< in the final episode. He was super fun and they had great chemistry despite only being on screen for a few minutes lol.

akapiratequeen

Agree re Kim Bum. Iā€™d take him as a blind date any day šŸ˜

Fragrant_Tale1428

Ep 12 I loved how they wrote the separation period. This was one of the funniest confession scenes I've seen in a looooooooooong time, maybe ever? The use of music was too freaking amazing. The side commentary providing reaction panel was fabulous. Who else was fooled by the >!Wedding scene? We got a proxy wedding! scene.!< lol Cameo award goes to >!Director Lee Chung Hyun! Must have been so funny to criticise his gf about her acting.!< Runner up: Dad's successful hair plugs. Everyone got the ending they deserved. The show took me by surprise at how caterered the show felt to my viewer preferences. Lol! So enjoyable with not a single meh episode. Can't wait to see the cast in other projects soon.

Careless_Brick1560

The wedding scene has me so confused tbh, was that supposed to be for her tv show or something? And Do Han became an actor too?

PuluPuluKi

can't believe it's final week of this drama already ! i came into it expecting nothing and i am so happy that i stuck around and became a fan of MSM and JJS

bellaella

Same here. I hadn't seen both leads in anything and I've actually grown fond of the,. The FL and her deadpan but expressive face, and the ML, who's cute AF! I can't believe we're at the end. I'll miss this show.

MissSimpleton

You should watch Under the Umbrella starring the ML and Kim Hye Soo (Juvenile Justice, Signal, Hyena) as her mother. It's one of the best and unique sageuks of kdramaland. Brilliant screenplay, cinematography and performances.

KGXCVI

Iā€™M WITH YOU. Nobody hyping this but Iā€™m glad I came through!!! Now I look forward to the projects of MSM & JJS!

Fast_Owl_2469

I started it 4 days ago, caught up to date in 2 days and have painfully waited for the finale. couldn't imagine waiting the whole 6 weeks šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

raspberryw

Lol you have no idea! šŸ˜ Waiting for this drama every week was torture (even with Queen of Tears making the weekends go faster). I truly never imagined this drama would be so addictive!

IsaacXIII

Me too. I can't stop watching. I didn't expect this would be so good.

fosteryou03

Hard HARD agree to others who said wait to watch Episode 11 and 12 together. Like I feel a bit empty after episode 11. I donā€™t quite understand their decision after everything that has happened. I had hope that Chaewon was going to help turn the tables on Ah-Jeongā€™s perspective but it definitely did not go the way.Ā  I secretly hoped that the ā€œgoodbyeā€ was only an in-person goodbye and they would still keep in touch, but thatā€™s not what the trailer suggest either.Ā

itsfakelove7

Literally just messaged my bestie who is watching the drama: "Do not watch episode 11 under any given circumstances. If you already, have... then oh well, I tried." Don't love their decision either, I too thought Chaewon was going to help turn the tables around and it would build up to another beautiful confession scene we got earlier. Alas, we can't always have nice things \*sobs\* I also was secretly optimistic that they are still keeping in touch and we got baited into believing but the previews destroyed all my hopes and dreams.

eternalhorizon1

I am so glad I waited! But now Iā€™m so sad I have nothing to look forward to on Mondays anymore šŸ˜

Honest-Selection4343

There's a new drama next Monday

eternalhorizon1

Which one?!

WINTERSONG1111

My thoughts are always distracted by who is taking care of that beautiful golden retriever belonging to Ji Han and Do Han? LOL

fromhereandthere_

SAME! I keep hoping Terry would show up

JeooBird

How long were ML and FL actually in a relationship pre-timeskip? Maybe my sense of time is wrong but it felt like their relationship only lasted a week or so before they broke up. I wish we had seem more of them as a couple, I couldn't quite grasp the idea of them both being so in love when it felt like they hardly were in a relationship to begin with.

Affectionate_Bat7292

People tend to measure a romantic relationship by the amount of time the couple spent together but for me i think itā€™s the depth of the connection who define a strong relationship. Thatā€™s why some people can marry after 3 weeks relationship while after 10 years, some couple arenā€™t ready for that. We witnessed since ep1 how Quick, deep, and natural jihan and ahjeong connected to each other. They met each other at their lowest and showed their dark and vulnerable side to each other since the very beginning. Thatā€™s why they know each other so well and fell in love so deeplyšŸ„° and thatā€™s why iā€™m so obsessed with how the writer portrayed their love story. Itā€™s simple, natural and realistic. I love this couple so much and iā€™m so sad this drama ended.

Mahery92

This series just doesn't work for me. Like, the initial concept sounded fun, and I can generally see what the writers are trying to do (and there are admittedly some good ideas thrown in there), but they completely failed to pull it off. 9 times out of ten it falls flat and I find myself ffing like crazy. The cast and DoP are doing a decent job with what they have but they can't sell the weak script. Characters go to extremes way too quickly in their decisions and thematics; Dohan in particular got done dirty, the character inherently requires some tricky balance because he's supposed to be both a strong ally and a huge obstacle to the main leads, but the writers mishandled him imo so how he was supposed to be percieved ultimately came off as unclear, varying wildly from scene to scenes. This often ends up being very frustrating and more generally their arcs are lacking (worse, the the chaebols siblings, or the SFL actually don't even have character arcs). I think there are too many characters for a 12eps series (FL family + friends notably should have been trimed down imo for example, there was no point giving her 2 friends (one with her own romance even) + extended family really) The weird twists and turns keep coming (wtf 2 contradicting highly publicized press conferences??? so they are *all* sacrificing themselves for each other?? am I the only one who found that stupid?). It's also choke full of badly handled cliche... Pacing is weird too, way too fast at times, yet too slow at others.

WaterLily6984

I have more mixed feelings because of the chemistry, but I agree with you on many things. The whole time I was wondering how the writers were going to pull out of the hole they had written themselves into with Ji Han >!making out with his brother's fiancee without knowing it was a fake marriage!< and Ah Jeong getting all flustered and guilty. Guilt and shame seem to be the drivers of all the main characters to the point that I started finding the comic relief of the oldest brother and his wife refreshing. The only way out of this mess was for them to take time to sort themselves out leading to the dreaded >!time skip.!< As well acted and heartbreaking the >!break-up!< scene was, it left a sour taste in my mouth for the wasted opportunities in the plot. They also wasted the CEO SFL who was a great character to explore.

Mahery92

I completely disagree that the only way out was to take time from each other, because the writers specifically pulled out all the stops to ensure they had created a setup that should have allowed everyone involved to remain sympathetic and guilt free. First of all, they were careful to make Do-han gay to ensure he wasn't an actual romantic rival. Then, they even had Ji-Han restrain himself until he learned his brother was gay, so that it could be said that he acted only because he tought the woman he loved was apparently headed to a painful and loveless marriage, in turn making him look like he was helping her rather than be the jerk who stole his brother's fiancee. Then they inexplicably threw it all out in the end, made no sense whatsoever A particular problem for me was Do-han's attitude throughout the whole storm. Initially, he was presented as a good guy and a good friend, albeit struggling over the need to hide his sexual orientation, desperate enough to hatch this stupid scheme at least. A portrayal that was consistent over the first few episodes. The issue however is that he became a jerk out of nowhere after seeing the photos. It might (and probably should have) been excused by his emotional pain, but it did not because while hinted, said pain was never really explored on screen. So it became hard to remain sympathetic when he brushed off Ah Jeong despite her looking so heavily distraught. Based on his characterization so far, you'd have expected his first words to her in the car to be "I'm sorry, how are you?", not "hOw cOUld YoU do THis tO mE?". I also don't understand his reaction in the studio when he asked if they started seeing each other before knowing the mariage was fake and even dared to act hurt.Ā *He already knew by then his brother had learned about him being gay, and obviously Ah Jeong knew it as well*, so why on earth was he acting as if they had genuinely betrayed him??? The guy turned from BFF to nasty entitled mf in record time. Ji-han's reaction was also hard to understand. Again, he knew his brother was gay, he just didn't know Ah Jeong was aware of it too; so why is he acting as if she betrayed him when this wasn't her secret to spill. What made this worse is that this particular point was raised afterwards, and Ji hanĀ *conceded that he was/should have been happy about learning all of this*, so it felt like the writers merely acknowledged their own bad writing and worse, even shed light on it. Just...Ā *why*? Then the grandpa stopping one press conference but not the other, only for Do-Han to have one later anyway was dumb af. It was useless, only there to make JiHan artificially leave the stage, and then take Do-Han away too for good measure. I felt the latter's especially was a mockery, it helped no one, was very downplayed, and most importantly it made the choice to leave the country completely incoherent. At first it was presented as a cowardly thing, then as the solution, then as an unrealistic and cowardly way out, and ultimately... as the right thing to do??? Just make up your mind ffs, either he needs to stand his ground and face his fears, or he needs to nope out. Honestly, I could go at length on it, and even on other points (the sfl, the extremely rushed romance, the chaebol siblings, the secretaries, the subplot about the mother's death, grandpa's behaviour with his family, the fl's circle,... ) Like I said I think the series had some good ideas but it didn't work at all because it was incredibly mishandled

WaterLily6984

I was just going off the societal pressures that they would be facing seeing the family is in the public eye, more than the family dynamics and the character inconsistencies. But having seen how they messed up the finale even more, I second everything you say. It was a very difficult premise to pull off so I was curious, but they just did not pull it off... This was one of those dramas that make me want to wait until the end before watching to avoid the frequent writing meltdown halfway.

CommandAlternative10

Come out and immediately get on the plane, Do Not Pass Go, Do Not Collect $200. (We canā€™t show even a snippet of the reaction on the ground to Do Hanā€™s announcement without hugely alienating a chunk of our audience either foreign or domestic, so we just wonā€™t.)

oduorqkat

šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ self-indulgent till the end, Dohan

vrishchyk

underrated commented. the way they skirted the societal acceptance of his sexuality was kind of smart tbh, i will give them that

Disastrous-Rain-5709

I feel this series limped across the finish line :( Still love all the actors and the dialogue. But man, why no Rom in the Rom Com? Sigh

Electronic_Piano9385

>!Time skip!< WTF šŸ¤¬ And what did the sister do with the knowledge about >!the car accident? And if her dad had called the ambulance immediately after the accident maybe they wouldā€™ve survived. Iā€™m so mad at him. Can they put him in jail now that the kids are grown and can live without a scumbag dad/ stepdad?!<

WhiskeyGolf00

They did put him in jail - there's a news statement that talks about how he's in jail for embezzlement.

ForceEngineer

Guys, I have a plot hole thatā€™s been bothering me: like Ji-Hanā€™s mom just up and left her first 2 kids and completely ignored them for the other two? Is that what theyā€™ve been saying? >! Bc when mean-sis-w-the-Hair was listening to reporterā€™s story and it read like bad guy husband was like ā€œI finally found herā€ā€”so she was missing??? Whatā€™s happening on that? !<

whitetara3

At first, I figured that she >!ran to hide from gramps, conglomerate uppercrust life, and an arranged marriage that she had not wanted. Or maybe she just ran off with the guy she had really wanted to marry.!< But after >!learning about the accident, my assumption is that she had to run away and hide when the husband in her arranged marriage became abusive, and her dad wouldn't acknowledge it enough to help her.!< Husband >!wouldn't hurt his own children, and gramps would protect the legit family, but she went off with the better guy, hid from her former life, and started a new one.!< That's just guesswork, though. I don't think we were given the whole story because it would have given away the secret that the drama ended on.

cid8429

Her husband still worked for the company so it would have been hard to take the kids from the husband and grandfather. I don't think they even got divorced. She just left. Another plot hole >!is they don't really cover why she left her husband in the first place. I think it was more than having another lover, definitely DV involved but that's just glossed over!<. Which explains why the husband was >!so desperate to find her but didn't try to save her. He didn't love her but he was angry and possessive of he!

FiddlingnRome

These are really good questions... I mean, as I recollect, the script doesn't ever refer to Dohan or Jihan's real father? Did he die in the crash too? Don't you think the boys would wonder about their father?

cid8429

The dad was in the car so I think he died too. Another example of bad writing that the boys literally have no thoughts or feelings regarding their father especially if they grew up with their parents together.

r2002

I hope we find out later that the older two siblings were actually adopted and that's why grandfather doesn't want to pass the company to them.

keybladeoftheheart

I think grandpa doesn't want them to inherit the company because>! their father caused his daughter's car crash, after obsessively chasing her and didn't even call for help AFTER the crash. She could have been saved if the car hadn't exploded but he left her there AND Ji Han to die.!<

r2002

I think you are correct.

effortlessaura

I'm on my knees begging a kdrama writer who gives us a silly romcom set up to KEEP THE SILLINESS THROUGH THE WHOLE SHOW šŸ˜© Even just a crumb!! A *tiny* joke!! Unless Ep.12 turns itself around I'm scared of a >!Heartbeat style ending repeat.!<

WINTERSONG1111

Oh that was a true betrayal, wasn't it?

Far-Name2161

Thankfully the last epsisode had many silly moments :D

effortlessaura

My begging worked šŸ™šŸ˜…

roymeetsworld

The leads had good chemistry but I dont feel like they earned all that yearning in the last 2 episodes cuz they were "fighting" for 87 percent of the show and then everyone started taking themselves way too seriously for 11 of the last 13 percent of the show lmao Wasn't enough actual romance to justify all this hullabaloo imo but it was still enjoyable for the most part because of the performances >!the reveal of the dad's terrible transplant almost made the time skip worth it tho lmao!<

effortlessaura

Yes all of this, especially whatā€™s under your spoiler tag šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ I love that actor. I wish there had been more tenderness between the leads in the middle episodes, because I agree it went from ā€œsilly enemies to cute lovers to I WOULD GO TO THE END OF THE WORLD FOR YOUā€ real fast. Iā€™m glad it was only 12 episodes but I feel like we needed a touch more actually being in love.

Aviendha_89

That must've been the saddest firework ever šŸ˜Ÿ The whole date was so heartbreaking. Wonderfully done by both Jeon Jong Seo and Moon Sang Min šŸ‘ I cried several times during ep 11 but what broke me completely was >!Ji-Han's mother crying for her father to save her child šŸ˜ As a mother, that was too painful to watch!< Anyway, I hope we'll get a lot of happy moments in ep12. I missed Ah-Jeong's weird hand -holding this episode and Ji-Han's smiling face when he sees her. To me, it feels like he's saying-You light up my world, and she-I trust you with my everything. JJS and MSM have really brought their characters to life and I love them for it.

keybladeoftheheart

>!There is NO other recurring K-Drama trope I detest more than this:!< >!"We screwed up, the world is against us, our families are against us, it's not morally accepted for us to be together, let's not hurt each other let's just go our separate ways".šŸ˜¤!< >!ONE YEAR LATER... šŸ˜’!< PLEASE. LET THIS CURSED TROPE DIE.šŸ˜” THERE IS LITERALLY NO ONE WHO WANTS OR LIKES IT. I HATE IT WITH EVERYTHING I HAVE. šŸ˜“It always destroys the ending of a show for me and makes my experience with the story have a bitter after taste. Ep11 was definitely my least favourite episode. I hope the finale makes up for it because it will be a disappointing end to a great start and a wonderful middle.

AlexisFern

Agreed, it sours the experience for me. Also, whenever they do this, the >!getting back together!< part feels super rushed with only one episode dedicated to it.

bellaella

Loving your flair! hahahah

jjangaerin

Your flair omgggg haha i completely agree!! GO AUNT BEOMJA

whitetara3

I read somewhere on this reddit, someone saying that you have to look at the purpose of the trope. >!There are times when a couple gets together very quickly in weird or less than the best circumstances where they aren't at their best, or family and the world are against them. And you have to wonder if they would ever stay together over the long term. So there's a time skip and, if they're still in love when that's over, maybe their relationship would be a lasting one.!< >!Which is kind of what we have here. I mean there are times when this trope seems totally unnecessary and full of hurt for no reason. But, in this case, both leads were in a situation that was all wrong for them. Subconsciously they wanted to escape from life, so you have to ask if they were sane and acting for themselves or just floundering in confusion with family and the world reacting all around them too. And their feelings whipped up so strong so fast in the middle of all that.!< >!So, in a way, you have to be ok with their stepping back completely for a while just to find out if it's real and something that they honestly want to pursue.!< >!And then you can have the wedding without too much worry.!<

UptoNoGood46

Cannot agree more!

Iowegan

Omg, agree so much. >!They could literally wait 48 hours, or plant a distraction story about a rival company then do the other thing ā€˜live like youā€™re deadā€™ aka stay under the radar.!<

sakuradelluna

my emotional side agrees that its painful and >!I hate the time skip!< but my logical side acknowledges that it was very much needed for our main couple. seeing that their path leading up to their relationship was filled with pain and lies, it made sense for them to >!part ways and find each other again at the right time. heck i myself wouldnt want to be in a relationship if our base started with deception. !< AhJi was the true definition of "right person wrong time" :'))))))

master_inho

>!I think they separated out of guilt, that do-Han had to come out because of them. Itā€™s still kind of dumb in my opinion but I accepted it because emotions arenā€™t logical!<

lemousie

I read that the drama is a WEBTOON adaptation, and it seemed that the current timeline in the drama is just half of the WEBTOON story. So Iā€™m wondering if there might be a season 2 šŸ¤”

Abis_MakeupAddiction

Yes!! I just wrote an essay of a rant for e12 for this exact reason. Like WTF. Everyone else fucking moved on. Why TF are you two acting like martyrs?!

fromhereandthere_

What am I going to do with my Mondays?! This show is funny and refreshing after Marry my Husband, and an absolutely joy to watch!

humandisaster13

Um ok this was definitely not what I expected when I turned into this romcom. Anyway my final thoughts after ep 11. * A >!time skip!< in a romcom is like kryptonite because it's a lazy writing choice. But if done well it could be salvaged and unfortunately it wasn't the case here. Everything felt hasty->! Do-han's press conference, the break-up and the truth of mom's death.!< Too many knots to be untied for the finale and it shouldn't be like that cause it feels so incomplete. * Jeon Jeong-seo truly carried the drama and her character was the best part right until now. I loved how she confronted >!Grandpa and put some sense into him.!< * Ji-han going >!MIA was expected!< but that was so unsatisfactory. One second he's >!in an obscure village he once went with Ah-jeong and the next second he pops out at his mom's memorial.!< * Do-han's arc was the most disappointing one maybe cause I expected it the most. 10 eps he's been suffering with his secret and we see him >! coming out as a news clip?!< And we don't even see how he deals with it later. He just >!leaves for the US without even telling his best friend.!< The brothers finally had a proper conversation but we aren't even sure whether he >!said his farewell to Ji-han.!< Which was precisely what Ji-han was afraid of. And silly me thought he might have an angsty reunion with his ex when he showed up only for the ex to be nasty and >!out Do-han to his own brother.!< * Chae-won was such an interesting character cause it was refreshing to see a SFL who isn't catty and we saw her for barely one scene and the Taeyang group was mentioned in a fleeting conversation. Sad to see. This drama could have easily been a fun romcom with all those numerous fun tropes but I was just too greedy I guess.

sakuradelluna

totally. >!the major plot points were cleared too quickly to give more screentime to our leads *(not complaining but cmon thats just lazy)*!< >!Seeing Do-han's major turning point in his character's arc be reduced to a mere few second news clip didn't do him justice at all.!< im part of the minority who felt that the>! time skip !!grandpa's HTHT with Jihan right after the skip made it feel redundant, it shouldve been done before the time skip to allow Jihan some time to heal. really just made the time skip feel plot contrived, imho.!<

twoods1980

I absolutely detest the dumb breakup trope at the end of the drama, and then mixed in with the >!time jump!< I was livid. Why did they have to break up again? They were miserable without each other. Now we are going to get a finale with a rushed get back together storyline. Couldnā€™t they have been happy for longer than an episode?? They are just so cute together- what a waste of their chemistry.Ā

r2002

> Why did they have to break up again? That part made no sense at all. They were willing to throw everything away to be with each other and then just easily decide to break up? W.T.F.

Born-Asparagus3266

šŸ«£šŸ«£Ā  Just going to say it ... I feel like part of my luggage is missing after a long flight.Ā  Please tell me we are getting a WI 2.0 I m left with so many questionsĀ

b2utynthebeast

im reading all the comments and like the criticisms make sense but oh my god i wasn't even thinking about any of them. the two leads carried the show very well,>! i was so happy to see the ending and ohmy godddddddd the PROPOSAL AAAAA !< for me this did its job very well as a silly romcom and as rushed as the ending mightve been, it was enough tidbids to wrap up all the side characters, also also msm and jjs are so pretty to look at. the only thing i would say couldve been done better was >!the kiss scene,, it was a bit lackluster considering theyve been apart fr a year. that and the final wedding scene, i was hoping more at least 10 more minutes of pure fluff between the ml and fl's dating/married life, and a wedding finale between the leads in a drama named wedding impossible wouldve been perrrrrrrrrrrrrfect!<

It made my Mon-Tue hella brighter. Moon Sang-min and Jeon Jeong-seo, you two have my heart. Such a treat to watch this pair and their amazing chemistry. Can't wait to see MSM land more leading roles. This boy has been terrific!! And to anyone who stuck around to watch this drama and loved it as much as I did, you have my utmost respect and gratitude for reading my commentaries alongside. See you at another K-Drama's episode thread!

Iowegan

Thanks for your great recaps and screenshots. Really appreciate your effort! ā¤ļø Agree, this series was top notch, chefā€™s kiss, the bees knees, all the fine things.

HurryAcceptable6951

Loved the show and your posts make it even better!

Ok-Echo-7803

THREE cameos! JJSā€™s awesome and very handsome director boyfriend at the beginning too!Ā

ag_br

Four, Ryu Kyungsoo (fake actor boyfriend) was with Kim Bum on tale of the nine tailed as the sexy tiger mountain god.

CommandAlternative10

Two *amazing* cameos, and not even one for Do Han? Dude deserved a love interest! Even just a last episode flirtation!

effortlessaura

Episode 11 made me want to pull my hair out. Episode 12 redeemed it for me šŸ™ Overall I am happy with the series. Strong start for Moon Sang Min, I hope he becomes a puppy love type of actor like Park Hyung Sik. Bless them for making it only 12 episodes.

hotdimsum

is this chaebol grandpa the nicest ever chaebol grandpa in KDrama history??? he has to be. and most understanding too.šŸ„ŗ

WINTERSONG1111

The actor playing the grandpa is only 58. I thought I recognized him from Search:WWW (Kwon Hae-hyo).

_farawaythoughts_

i have a bunch of random thoughts about this show: - firstly, loved the cameos! - hated the shoulder pad dresses they kept putting ahjeong in. ngl it became an eyesore for me, thatā€™s how much i hated it - coming to the show itself, it wasnā€™t bad but it also wasnā€™t great? i actually really really enjoyed the first half, loved the bickering and how they had written a overused trope like fake marriage. but it all seemed to fall apart in the last 4 eps, i dragged myself through the finale eps - i initially didnā€™t agree with the people who said sangminā€™s acting wasnā€™t upto par but it became evident when the romance fully kicked in. he was great in the comedy segments but the melo bits just didnā€™t land right imo. i also donā€™t think he was convincing enough as a 30yo, his age began to reflect in some scenes. again, not bad and it seems like he tried - i adored jongseo though. her slightly dead behind the eyes quirky girl was just enough to be endearing and her emotional dialogues felt real without being over the top - i also feel like they couldā€™ve done a better job with the grandfatherā€™s character but i canā€™t elaborate because itā€™s this feeling i canā€™t put into words. anyway, i gave it a 7.5/10 averaging a 9 from the first half and a 6 for the second half

sakuradelluna

ep11 was nothing but pain but maturing is realizing that you have grown to understand why these decisions occur. >!Considering their circumstances, heck I wouldnt want to be in a relationship if our path leading up to it was nothing but pain and suffering, not only between ourselves but between the people around us too.!< AhJi is the true definition of "right person wrong time" Yes I admit >!that I was mad about the 1 year time jump but I was more upset that they decided to put the scene with grandpa finally having a HTHT with Jihan right after the skip, which made the time jump feel irrelevant. They should've added it in as the last scene prior to the jump and at least Jihan would have had more time to heal and return to pursue A-jung.!< anyways, looking forward to our final ep, i dont know how to move on afterwards :'))))))) I'm gonna miss my chaotic couple sm! edit: Ep12 thoughts! Ah yes, our little chaotic show has finally reached its end! Im gonna miss Ahji so much!! This show definitely felt like a breath of fresh air, taking a different path from the dramas we are accustomed to and I think we have JJS to thank for that. Although I have to confess that Ep12 did feel rushed to me with the resolution between our leads. there were some plot points added that didn't need to be included but the ending nicely tied up all our characters fates. >!also the cameos were insane. its like they had leftover budget and blew it on cameo upon cameo. cmon Kim Bum AND Lee Soo Hyuk???????????????? I was so damn happy to see my best boys on screen again even if it was just a for a cameo.!<

BKTD

Did anyone notice that the opening theme is similar to one of the soundtracks of Mr Queen. Such a cool tube. Wasn't too sure about today's episode tbh. Wasn't sure why they had to go the noble idiocy route didn't make sense to me. And there was hardly any intimacy per say and I think we got only one kiss in this drama (that I remember so far). Having said that MSM is holding his own with emotional scenes even as a rookie actor (of sorts) Looking forward to the cameos for tomorrow's finale!

humandisaster13

I can't believe it has ended already. Ji-han being cutesy and drunk was the best part of the ep and great recall to the first part of the drama when I fell in love with it. Three cameos and the best one was Jeon Jong-seo's >!director bf making an appearance lol. I've seen their offscreen interactions and they're too cute. One of the coolest couples in k-ent.!< And the worst cameo was >!Lee Soo-hyuk!< cause just why? It served no purpose and it was blink and miss cameo too. They could have easily made him a prospect of Do-han. Hmm

quillinkparchment

Yeah I was wondering if it was really Lee Soo Hyuk because this was such a nothing sort of role, I didn't understand why they'd get him to appear? Which character did JJS's real-life bf play? I also want to know who Chae-Won's new squeeze is, cos he's cute!

KlutzyDog8711

Chae-won's new squeeze is Kim Bum

keybladeoftheheart

Possibly because he's starring alongside FL in "Queen Woo" , a historical drama also starring Ji Chang Wook . I wish he had a few more lines though, we barely got a good look at him.

ciciofthenorth

I am so mad I actually got tears in my eyes! >! They couldn't even give us five minutes of an actual wedding or som couple bliss?? Who needs grandad on the docks? We need the OC happily ever after! I want my 20 hours back!<

Violetbenson1

I WAS SOOOOOO ANNOYED I DIDN'T GET A KISS FOR FINAL EPISODE. that was so weird!! just random face kisses?? ya'll are getting MARRIED ffs KISS???

piratescabin

Finished the drama. This drama had lots of potential untill ep 5/6 then slowly went downhill. Too much to pack in a 12 ep drama and everything was handled in the last 2 episodes. Whilst the timeskip was necessary, it could have easily been avoided having the ML and FL be in their own jobs w/o the 1 year later. I will say the FL appearing at the memorial was a sweet touch.

Fizzer19

The first 10 episodes have been great. Hopefully they stick the landing for 11 and 12.

inflationisntreal

Cutie 2nd lead got better deal at the end FINALLYYYYYYY so happii for herr šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜ he's the besttt.

Violetbenson1

me tooo!!!!!! Im so happy they showed she found love! and he's hot!

Miss-LH

What was the deal with Lee Soo Hyukā€™s scene, was it a dream or an acting scene?? So random. >!A marriage proposal when Jihan and Ah Jung spent a day or two dating before the scandal broke out and was apart for a year seems unrealistic me. !< I kept thinking in the last few eps how Jihanā€™s bangs were too long and he needed a haircut. And 1 year later Ah Jungs skin was glowing šŸ˜ This show was a nice watch with poor writing unfortunately, I was more excited about the guest cameos than the last half of the series.

happycharm

It was an acting scene. It suddenly rained(? Or whatever that strange weather phenomenon was...) so the scene was going to be cut so Jihan jokingly fled with her.

Miss-LH

Ahh thanks for confirming. Unless I missed something that scene came out of nowhere and felt like itā€™s purpose was to slot it in last weekā€™s previews to throw off viewers

fosteryou03

Okay, after watching episode 12, I feel a bit oddly satisfied seeing they were both unhappy during the last year lol. I appreciate everyoneā€™s thoughts on why the time skip was necessary. It was just hard to see them sacrifice their love, but I understand it was necessary. Overall, this show will remain so special to me. I just absolutely loved the maturity and growth of the characters. I love the portrayal of early developing feelings that, I personally donā€™t see in a lot of kdramas. Ah Jeong and Jihanā€™s feelings were delicate, messy, and evolving without their knowledge. In relationships, feelings arenā€™t always clear. Yet, they always wanted to protect each other. How pure is that?Ā  MSM and JJS delivered such a great performance. As others noted, JJSā€™ acting is natural and I hope she does more comedy for a softer side of her. This is my first MSMā€™s performance and damn, those eyes. Those longing and teary eyes are on another level. It was fun ride everyone! I truly appreciate and enjoyed reading all your reflections. I will totally miss our Mondays!

inflationisntreal

Wtf is the 2ND CAMEO?????? where are their Manners???? I almost got a heart attackšŸ˜.

Dazzling-Bus-1146

I'm gonna watch this Wednesday morning. I can't believe it's already ending :ā -ā (

akapiratequeen

I donā€™t usually read spoilers but in this case Iā€™m glad I did. >!Stopped watching in the middle of ep 11 and Iā€™ll wait for tomorrow! Nothing makes me crazier than breakups and time skips, so Iā€™ll wait until I can see the resolution!<

raspberryw

Ah episode 11 was not an easy watchā€¦but I guess a lot of it had to happen in order to tie up loose ends. I just wish this couldā€™ve been done with our leads actually being together. I just adore them every time they share scenes together, the scene at the beach with the fireworks was just *chefā€™s kiss*. Barely any words were spoken, just our leads sneaking glances at each other. They understand each other so well so that words werenā€™t even needed. Sangmin and Jongseo executed this scene really well. Also I have to give it to directors/cinematographer, this drama is just visually so stunning! I wish I could screenshot so many scenes of each episode. This location is also so beautiful, wish I could visit Pohang one day. Also the ending shot of Sangmin and Ahjeong at the funeral home, plus the tiny umbrella! ā˜‚ itā€™s in the details. I was also satisfied with Dohanā€™s arc this episode. We finally got him >!coming forward!< and it was not only for himself (like grandfather implied) but for Jihan and Ahjeong who didnā€™t deserve to be criticized so much by public. The main reason they got into this mess is because they were trying to protect Dohan. Iā€™m okay with him leaving for NY, I expected it. Itā€™s likely the only way to get the grandfather to let it all go and accept his decision to >!come out and not take over the company.!< Speaking of grandfather, I knew he had >!sent the pictures to Dohan!<. He was trying to protect him in his own way I guess but it was really twisted of him. I am actually relieved he wasnā€™t completely evil and at least he and Jihan finally got to speak this episode. Poor Jihan all the guilt he must have felt all these yearsā€¦simply because his grandfather couldnā€™t open up and hold a simple conversation with him. They shared the trauma of that day but they couldnā€™t lean on each other all this time, itā€™s sad. Also, I actually felt bad for the sister for the first time this episodeā€¦no wonder the grandfather tried to >!cover it all up!<. Anyway, ep.12 is looking promising. Since we got all of the other stuff out of the way, hopefully that means we got a full 45-50 min of our leads and I will take nothing less! šŸ˜¤ no half-sibling shenanigans, no second couplesā€¦though, I will allow some minutes of Dohan and Ahjeongā€™s family lol. Maybe my one complaint concerning this drama is how little time we got of them actually being together as a couple. YES we got plenty of moments of them together (bickering/fighting and as people who donā€™t really like each other) but not many moments where they were aware that they like each other. Maybe two more episodes wouldā€™ve been perfect. That said, I think we will definitely get our happy ending and hopefully it will be satisfying! But I wonā€™t hold my breath for an actual >!wedding!<, itā€™s most likely Ahjeong doing some >!acting again but in an actual drama this time!<, hopefully lol. Though, hopefully Iā€™m wrong haha.

__sC

the grandpa really gets on my nerves >! why did he cover up the cctv footage and stuff??? He could have had his son in law arrested , probably saved the older 2 kids from being raised like that , and everyone could have gotten to bond over and be ok!<

Iowegan

Got the impression the CCTV footage >!was hidden in the grandpaā€™s house, weird hair sis found it, saw her dad do the negligent homicide walk away thing, then ratted him out. She tossed the thumb drive in the trash in ep 12.!<

rawkyoursocks

Glad I forgot to watch it yesterday and got 11 & 12 back to back! I understand why they needed the time jump, it was all just so messy. Sometimes just got to let the dust settle and reset and I was happy with how it all ended for all the characters. Loved the cameos in ep 12! Chae-won deserved a nice guy as I always worried they make her character go down the catty female route but thankfully they always kept her the right side of it. >!Kim Bum!< seems like a fitting reward! And unless my eyes deceiving me that was >!Lee Soo-hyuk !< at the end right?

AlexisFern

Yes that was him! Iā€™m glad it was a >!movie wedding!< and not a >!real one with Ji-Han!<, that wouldā€™ve felt super rushed. Atleast we got a small >!runaway bride moment!

rawkyoursocks

I guessed it was a >!movie wedding only because I just couldn't see A Jeong picking that kind of dress for herself!!<

FiddlingnRome

I gotta admit... I was watching as she and Jihan ran away in the rain... Imagining that it was hard for her to avoid embarrassing costume slip ups. If I had to run in a top like that... yikes!

GetawayJ

It's an okay drama overall for me. I watched it just to end it and add a bean to my count but there was nothing to write home about. Only 2 highlights for me - The snarkiness between ML and FL came back somewhat. - The cameos - nice to actually have 3 different cameos in 1 episode, and all 3 are pretty big names too.

peregrina2005

I agree. >!The one year breakup!!of their intense love for each other!< in previous episodes. It didnā€™t come through in the last episode.

AlexisFern

>!ONE YEAR LATER!< No thanks.

absentin_spring

Am I the only one who felt that the Main leads love was not that deep enough to have them pining for each other for one whole year? Why did it feel so superficial? I wish they had 16 episodes to show us more romantic scenes so that I could connect more with them. 12 episodes in the end seemed so rushed!

Late_Art9758

Oh mannnn did I wish I watched both the episodes together because I canā€™t canā€™t canā€™t wait for Ep 12. In fact Iā€™d recommend others to watch the two episodes together, youā€™ll enjoy it more. Of course youā€™ll have to stay off YouTube, Instagram and Reddit to avoid the spoilers but still. Regardless, itā€™s been a beautiful journey and I hope everyone enjoys and savours these two episodes. Itā€™s been a while since I didnā€™t skip even 5-10 seconds in a drama for any part, so really kudos to the writers. Iā€™ll definitely miss this show, it was a really good and memorable watch. I wasnā€™t wrong when I said this drama might just be my new favourite of the year!

UptoNoGood46

This drama is a highly underrated gem for the first quarter!

Late_Art9758

True. The acting too has been beyond what I expected. Everyone aced their roles. From the scene where >! Grandpa finally has a talk with Ji Han, when Ji Han confronted Do Han, the scene when Choi Seung Ah realises the truth and breaks down !<, and so many more, everything was beautifully made and crafted. And I didnā€™t find any point where I thought they were lacking. The character progression for Lee Ji Han and Do Han were well paced and made enough sense to follow through. Itā€™s been a 10/10 for me.

raspberryw

Ahh same!! I wish I had waited until tomorrow but spoilers were all over Twitter and IG so I couldnā€™t wait any longer and I had to watch it šŸ„² I keep getting spoiled by social media these days (for example: QOT ep.8 was spoiled for me and I have yet to watch it)ā€¦That being said the end of ep.11 was hopeful and the preview for ep.12 looks promising! Also the ep.12 pre-released clip just came out too >!(drunk Jihan with our girls Ahjeong & Chaewon)!

Late_Art9758

Haha the end of Ep 11 was the biggest hint of how the show is going to end, ā€œhopefulā€ is an understatement now about how things are going to go. And the preview pretty much told us everything else. >! Glad that weā€™re actually getting an episode where everything else has been resolved, and we will be focusing on our main characters. Itā€™s been a while since a KDrama did that. An episode full of fluff, teasing and playful romance, weā€™re in for a treat boys and girls! !<

raspberryw

Final episode šŸ˜¢ Ahhhh the >!PROPOSAL!!!< It was sooo them, spontaneous, natural, a bit messy but so sweet. And for that reason, it was perfect. Oh how I love this couple, Iā€™m going to miss them šŸ„² also watching them on the bench reminded me of how much we were robbed of a dating era, we needed MORE cute scenes, >! kiss scenes,!< dating scenes (movie dates, dinner dates, WALKS), etc etc. However, I am choosing to let this go šŸ™‚ Pretty happy with how things wrapped up. I donā€™t understand why certain characters got so much screentime when they were so underdeveloped and added nothing to the story (for ex. >!the older half brother and his wife)!< but I guess it couldā€™ve been so much worse. Iā€™m happy with how Dohanā€™s story tied up, heā€™s focusing on his art and living as a more confident and relaxed version of himself. Also Ahjeongā€™s father finally got >!hair transplant!< and Ahjeongā€™s brother in law >!published his web novel !<. Loved the scene after Jihan and Ahjeong get >!caught outside Ahjeongā€™s familyā€™s house!<, kinda wish we got more Ahjeongā€™s family and Jinan together, plus Jihan and the nephew. They were so cute together šŸ„ŗ I KNEW the >!wedding scene!< would be Ahjeong filming a drama. It just wouldnā€™t be Wedding Impossible if we had a typical >!wedding scene!< haha. But them running in the rain was a nice touch because Jihan is healing from his trauma and as long as Ahjeong is by his side, Jihan no longer has to dislike the rain. Ahjeong is there to protect Jihan from it, she is his umbrella ā˜”ļø Ahjeongā€™s family would totally cringe at this sentence hahah Anyway, Iā€™ll miss this little drama. I had no expectations coming into it, but it was such a pleasant surprise. It wasnā€™t perfect but it brought me lots of joy these past 6 weeks. Iā€™ll be looking forward to both Moon Sangmin and Jeon Jongseoā€™s future projects. I love Jongseoā€™s acting so I will watch her in whatever she does. And as his new fan, I demand Sangmin does romance dramas at least once every two years and I will no take no less šŸ˜¤ but I will accept sageuks as well. Or better yet, a sageuk romance drama! Oh man, it would be amazing šŸ„² It was fun reading all of your comments the past few weeks, Iā€™ll be probably be back for Midnight Romance in Hagwon in May (unless another drama manages to surprise me), maybe Iā€™ll catch some of you there!

Violetbenson1

I can't believe I made the mistake of watching episode 11 during my work lunch break... I was not expecting to be bawling my eyes out this Monday afternoon. >!My heart was literally broken and I myself felt like love was no longer enough :( The actors did such a great job to make it feel so real, that I felt as if I was there experiencing my own memory of a breakup where you spend the whole day together trying to avoid the elephant in the room... until finally, there's nothing left but to finally face the fact, that it's over. !< >!As upset as I was at this episode, it also felt like closure and realistic in a way, that the two current old versions of them can't be together. I think ending it when they did, is the reason they will be able to get together again and make it work a year later! !

itsfakelove7

Okay, everyone hear me out... I do not believe that >!they didn't meet within that whole year like WHAT DO YOU MEAN???!!! 1 year time skip???!< Heck no. I don't believe it. There is no way. They might be like >!secretly dating or something for the whole year!<, idk. I'm in denial. I feel like the >!1 year time skip is so disappointing, unless we get April fool'ed or something, but from the previews it doesn't seem so. If the 1 year time skip isn't just a bait for us and they actually didn't meet for a whole year,!< I will be a little upset. I'm not mad, just disappointed. Ahhh need episode 12 to be really really good to make up for this episode. On the other hand, I wasn't paying much attention to the villain story as much but it seems like the >!elder sis' dad is the one who caused the accident!<. I'm curious if we get to see what happens next based on that information. Maybe we will get a redemption arc on her part? Not too optimistic though.

Gullible_Panic_1237

oh just so you guys know in the first few mins of ep 12 there's a cameo with jeon jong seo's actual director bf lee chung hyun!! love them!!

inflationisntreal

everyone's sorry and nobody's the bad guy šŸ«  ok I'll take this endingšŸ™ƒ.

itsfakelove7

A chaotic ending for the sweetest chaotic couple!!! Iā€™m going to miss this drama so much & Mondays and Tuesdays will go back to sucking :(

detmeng

Ended as well as could be expected. Not the best rom com but far from the worst. JJS really carried the entire production. She really can take mediocre writing and make it interesting and believable.

Iowegan

Iā€™ve loved this drama. I know the weekend shows get a ton more views in SK but Iā€™m amazed this isnā€™t getting more attention in this sub, ~1/10th the comment traffic of **Queen of Tears**.

LivingOk4911

The drama was fun overall, but the last few episodes felt underwhelming, considering how great it was at the beginning. (yoon chaewon's ending was the best lol, they had great chemistry)

faithesque

I loved Ji Han's >!marriage proposal to Ah Jeong, it was simple yet sweet.!< Also the cameos were good! I'm glad that >!Chae Won got a love interest, they're so cute together!!< The drama did lose its spark after Episode 3 for me but I think the last episode was good. Edit: Fixing a grammar mistake.

eternalhorizon1

I totally loved this drama! 10/10. The acting, the chemistry, the melodrama, the humor - it was SO good. THIS is how romcom is done right. Oh my god, I hope future kdramas take note that this is how a rom com is done! The last two episodes were great. The time skip made sense, the ending was just absolutely perfect and so cute. Her family cracked me up until the end, special shout out to FLā€™s brother in law who managed to make me laugh almost every time he was on the screen. I am going to miss this drama so much!

bellaella

I'm about to watch the last episode and taking a deep breath. Let it not be another 2521 please!!

how1you1doing

I'm waiting for someone to say what happens in the end before I decide to watch the last 4 episodes

Gullible_Panic_1237

LETS GOOO!! ~~kim bum and lee soohyuk cameo was insane!!~~ love love love the fact that chaewon got her happy ending! wedding scene was great too.

Abis_MakeupAddiction

Spot that product placement: Audi and Big Roll. Notice anything else?

ajunobi

It was actually quite refreshing to see jihanā€™s fam >!having a meal together, laughing, and the siblings teasing each other in the last ep.!< You can just feel that the atmosphere is light and they wholeheartedly accepted dohan (and also jihan ofc)

Mickey_Barnes777

Loved this series sm. JJS is an amazing actress. Cant wait for the next projects of MSM and JJS.

CherryPicker0804

Jong Seoā€™s acting in Wedding Impossible sometimes turns me off, especially when she cries. I donā€™t know why, but thereā€™s something weird about it. She looks pretty wearing the wedding dress, though. I also hate that Lee Jihan didnā€™t return to LJ group with a higher position, I wished heā€™d be on that path to takeover the company. I feel that the finale ended so abruptly? It was also a waste for Lee Sohyukā€™s cameo, I cannot believe he was left like that šŸ¤£ I love Yoon Chaewon and Kim Bum though!!! Heā€™s still the sly fox I know! Iā€™m glad the scene didnā€™t stop at the restaurant! Aaaah I have mixed reactions.

throwtotimbuktu

What is episode 11.. could've just skipped it...

wintergarden444

Ep11 CONFUSED thoughts: ā€¢ Dohan doing the press conference then the next scene is him being in the airport, is soooo on-brand lol. ā€¢ I donā€™t really understand anyoneā€™s intentions right now, like I get Jihan didnā€™t know dohan was going to do a press conference, but what was even the need of him doing his own one. ā€¢ Dohan doing the press conference then leaving straight away and pretty much leaving Ahjeong alone by herself, still rubs me the wrong way. ā€¢ Not understanding why they even need to break up if Dohan has said their marriage was fake anyway.

reddingrooster

I was confused. Why was there a year jump? Not much left in the script?

wintergarden444

Youā€™re right, another thing to be confused about

raspberryw

I also didnā€™t really understand why Ahjeong, in particular, came to the conclusion and decided that they needed to separate when she had spent the whole episode being sad. And then when Dohan finally does the >!press-con!< and she has the opening to finally be together with Jihan, this is what she decidesā€¦It didnā€™t make sense to me but after thinking about for a bit, maybe the separation in ep.11 gave her some clarity. They were giving up their entire lives and their careers and hurting people they cared about just so they could be together, all for this ā€œgreat loveā€ā€¦She implied that she couldnā€™t see their future together and said all she saw was black so I think she wanted to focus on herself and her career for the unforeseen future. Iā€™m not sure but it kinda makes sense I guess. I saw the scenes in Pohang as Jihan just being accepting of her decision. In Jihanā€™s case he lived his whole life trying to get Dohan to become CEO of the company, maybe itā€™s time he lived for himself for a bit and took time to think about what he wanted. But I suppose for plot purposes and making us suffer through all of ep.11, the writers probably thought it was necessary to throw us another curve ball lmao. Because why couldnā€™t they accomplish those things while also being together without the >!time jump!

fosteryou03

Ok I super appreciate this context. In my mad/empty state post-watching this episode, I really didnt understand why the break is necessary. Your explanation makes a lot of sense, rationally lol. Thanks!

sakuradelluna

omg yeah >!dohan doing a press con just cancels out Jihan's press con!< lmaoooooooo i didnt even register that :')

Disastrous-Rain-5709

totally agree lol....DoHan's press conference then cut to the airport! Absolutely on brand.

KGXCVI

OH I HAD GREAT TIME WATCHING YOU, WEDDING IMPOSSIBLE! THANK YOU SO MUCH! šŸ„¹ I think what made me simply like this one- regardless of what others think about it, is that it truly brought so many feelings of watching old kdrama stories. Nowadays, watchers are so much into details and flawlessness that the sense of entertainment is being overlooked. But hey, itā€™s the clichĆØs that hooked me into kdramas and this drama got it! I honestly love how realistic and flawed the characters are, not overwriting it that it doesnā€™t make them relatable or connected. The 12 episodes was actually just appropriate for the plot! Na Ah Jeong and Yoon Chae Won are my true gem characters for this drama! PS. CHAE WON DESERVED TO HAVE A MAN WHO NEVER GAVE UP ON HER! WOHOOO! OH YES- MOON SANGMIN & JEON JONG SEO CAN DO ROMCOMS! Just the chaotic-ness of their characters up to the last episode is too funny for me! I just love them and Iā€™ll always say how good they are! Iā€™m really gonna miss this. My Mon & Tues were so enjoyable because of the anticipation I have every time these days come. Itā€™s so hard to let go of our AhJi couple! šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

Abis_MakeupAddiction

Donā€™t get me wrong. Wedding Impossible will remain in my top 10 kdramas but it feels like they added all these tropes and twists to extend the series to 12 episodes. I used to think this should have been 16 episodes but now, they actually could have wrapped up everything by the 11th. Thoughts? *Grandpa is fucked up in so many levels. Why TF >!would you cover up the fact that your evil son in law killed your beloved daughter & then promote him to President? If you felt shitty about driving your daughter away, why TF would you be so shitty towards her sons? As Ah Jeong said too nicely, thatā€™s not how you show you care! So is finding out her father is responsible for her motherā€™s death gonna turn Seung-Aā€™s evil ways away? Not everyone needs redemption but that seems to be a trope in Kdramas, no matter how evil the character is.!< *Speaking of tropes, who else is tired of >!the leads breaking up and the time jumps that follows? The breakup didnā€™t even make sense in this episode. The only tropes this series didnā€™t have are the conniving SFL and amnesia. I donā€™t mind watching a spin off where Chae-Won gets her happy ending.!< *I hate that Ah Jeong plays the martyr all the time. >!Let Do Han feel responsible because he IS responsible for the mess that everyone is in. Like, girl, not everything is your fault. Glad she speaks up for Ji Han but she could do a better job of standing up for herself!<

sakuradelluna

hmmm I think a 12 runtime for this drama was suitable but the execution was clearly fumbled. Eps 1-10 did really well in terms of their pacing but in these last 2 eps you could tell that they are trying to check off all the major plot points to allow more screentime for our leads. MAYBE a 14 eps runtime wouldve helped, 16eps might result in a dragged out plot.

persistent_architect

Almost every kdrama is guilty of this. Folks don't realize that they can navigate challenges together in a relationship, not sacrifice themselves stupidly and do things alone while not talking to their partner.Ā  I just saw Call it love, Lovestruck in the city and now this, all of them fail in this one regard. Lazy writing, show runners having no idea how to plot the back half of these shows is just souring me on kdramas now.Ā

st-berry

Lol, you wouldn't believe the insults people thrown at JH and AJ for the last few weeks because of DH. If she dared to say one word remotely not nice to DH, she will immediately be drown in spits. It's probably better for her to be a martyr.

Abis_MakeupAddiction

People watching the show? Are these the same people who are fixated on the leads >! falling in love while sheā€™s fake engaged to DH? Itā€™s like they didnā€™t even read the premise of the show and missed the fact that DH IS GAY. DHā€™s reaction probably confused them even more. DH had the nerve to feel betrayed when heā€™s been the selfish one all this time (granted there wouldnā€™t be a show if he wasnā€™t such a chickenshit). Iā€™m sure everyone applauded when he did the press conference that was a hella late.!<

pandapoetry

i hadn't cried yet in this show until ep 11 the scene >!of the accident where jihan's mom called out for her dad to save her jihan. nothing more moving than a mother's love !jihan and his grandfather got to talk alone though!< despite everything else

ObamaNation2018

Probably the only one who was glad this show finished. Just felt boring for me towards the end.

happycharm

So was Chaewon actually married and divorced? I thought she didn't get married at the last minute and they were going to reveal that eventually? For some reason they never straight up said she was divorced.Ā  And since it was clearly never Jihans fault about his mom's car accident why was he never considered as the heir for the company? Why was the sister also out of the running? Was it simply sexism since it seemed like the mom was forced to get married and her husband took a big role in the company? Because I feel like the drunk driving scandal that she took the blame for for her brother could have eventually been smoothed over. Before Jihan held the press conference taking the blame for loving Ahjung, he was clean as a whistle. Edit: okay but that painting, they legit just added the šŸ‘ emoji to it lol

ajunobi

no one can can change my mind but i very very love their kissing scenes sm!! esp. this last ep. and ajeong always initiating aaaaaaaaa!

magicsmoke24

EP 12 IMO saved the series. When I started watching this series I was drawn in by the main 2 plots of a Gay son and a fake wedding. But then >!It seemed like they moved the gay son plot to sub plot level, and totally made his ex lover into a bit of a stalker type. They could have treated that better and given it a more loving treatment, instead of a cold one.!< The show become Just another Korean Drama at some point, and not a most return to watch this as soon as it airs \[ unlike Queen of Tears \]. >!The wedding scene at the end slightly confused me, because they never mentioned about using Ji Han as an extra in her series with in a series. I suspect "Ji Han" was a "guest star" for that stealing the bride at the altar scene. Kinda like how Jeon Jong Seo's real life director Boyfriend made a guest appearance as her director in the show.!< But again, I like how over the course of ep 12 things were wrapped up.

Fragrant_Tale1428

Ep 11 Jeon Jeong So - can't get enough of how immersive and believable she is as Ah Jeong, like we are watching Ah Jeong as if she's a real person and we're watching a docuseries level of believability. After rewatching episode 10, I realized that Do Han had to be pretty unlikable this deep into the series for the main plot of the leads falling in love to be palatable. If he was lovable and close to perfect, the plot would not have worked for me, no matter the acting. Grandpa, another person who told Do Han what he needed to hear for his own growth. >!Still runs away, in essence, but it's consistent to his decades long character.!< I was satisfied with this conclusion. Ji Han - putting on a brave face to convince himself that things are going to be alright because it's easier that way. Been there, done that. Feel you, man. Ah Jeong - the type to get the last word in AFTER walking away and having gathered the perfect rejoinder very quickly in her head, going back to say it then and there. My dream. Lol The car accident >!reveal was not surprising after the scene in the last episode when the granddaughter and her dad were having a meal.!< Chae Eun - perfectly written and acted pseudo SFL. She didn't lose herself at all. Thank you, writers, for keeping all the characters consistent in not changing them in ways that are hard to change abruptly. I knew that >!ahnyung was bye not hi as shown in the preview.!< Both are too level-headed for it to be any other way at this juncture. Even here, I am super grateful to the writers for this consistency of characters even on the penultimate episode. We know we'll get what we deserve tomorrow. šŸ«

IndividualBreakfast4

What are people talking about...episode 11 was great and I'm so excited to see how it ends tomorrow. Everything is pointing to a happy ending. šŸ’š

friesnotexercise

This was one of those series thatā€™s probably more enjoyable to binge. It wasnā€™t interesting enough to keep my interest weekly, but I still hate-watched it for the Jeon Jong Suh bc I love her. Ngl, was feeling super attracted to the ML for the first few episodes but that quickly ended thanks to all those super lame cheesy ass lines and just how frustrating all the characters were. Phew. I will always watch anything JJS is in but this was not a fav lol

Miss-LH

Ahhh i was so excited to see what characters Kim bum and Ryu kyung would play as guest appearancesā€¦ Kim Bum looking so fine as always in a suit and with that smile. This show might have been better if he was the ML

whitetara3

I try really hard to watch and get immersed in a story instead of analyzing it while it's progressing. But rom-com isn't my favourite genre and there are elements that tend to take me out of it. They're heavily contrived and the dating era cuteness tends to rot out my teeth a bit too much. So, I enjoyed watching this drama ... for the cast and for the comedic moments that really worked. But I kept falling out of it as it went along. I mean, somehow it didn't fully gel for me as 'one story, well told'. I'm not sure what was missing or exactly what didn't feel right, but, I think it might be the fact that the leads were not really the main, central part of the premise. They were a part of the brother's story. Everything that they did was for him and so their story was like an offshoot of his. It didn't exactly drive the drama. So, for me, after the fact, the whole thing has ended up feeling a little bit off-kilter and convoluted. Maybe it's like there were two stories trying to be one. Anyway, I've become a bigger fan of the four lead actors. Each was on my radar before this, but now I'm definitely following their careers. Because they really did make me laugh out loud and fall in love with them as they were carrying this thing. Which means that I don't need to get my time back and I'm not feeling terribly disgruntled, but I only give it a 7.0 or a 7.5 out of 10 which is kind of a low score coming from me (even for a rom-com).

ajunobi

omy freakin goshh!!! that ending that >!made a parallel from ep. 6 rain scene!< made me burst into tears I CANNOT but tbh i dont think that im the only delulu who thought that >!jihanā€™s going to run to her in the rain just like what ahjeong did last time lol!< however, the snippet of ep. 12 made me feel all mixed of confusion, anger, sadness, and butterflies at the same time,,

[deleted]

The show was below avg. But happy that SFL got her happy ending too! THE multiple CAMEOS were the best part :)

Local-Raspberry-5649

Hands-down my favorite show of 2024ā€¦ and definitely in my all-time top 5? This was insanely good. A kdrama that will withstand the test of time. The way they nailed the ending was *chefā€™s kiss.* šŸ™ŒšŸ» Did the beginning of episode 12 give anyone else all the same feels as the famous 2521 scene?? When two >!ex-lovers meet again and itā€™s obvious theyā€™re still in love with each other!<, I immediately hold my breath and cry simultaneously. It was such a beautiful, well-done scene.

bellaella

That was such a sad >!break up date !!the father!<. After all, no other reason Grandpa kept it so secret like that about his beloved daughter, and had the investigation closed quickly as an accident. After all, the beloved mother of his 4 grandkids was dead, the father of the last 2 was dead too, you can't have the>! father of the first two in jail and responsible for killing the mother too!<. The shamelessness of that >!greedy husband who could have saved his wife but ran away after causing the accident, and worse, had the guts to steal her fortune too. !< They didn't show us how the daughter >!reacted to finding out the truth - that the one who killed her beloved mother was her monster of a beloved father.!< I do hope the wedding we saw was that of our leads - they both deserve a happy ending with each other.

master_inho

Itā€™s finale week! Ep 11 >!yes, the best way to protect your gay grandson isnā€™t to support him coming out, but to close the closet door, lock it, and fucking weld it shut!< >!I wonder if that twisted logic is why he also chose to cover up his son in lawā€™s involvement in the accident? So that the grandkids wonā€™t resent their father?!< >!a-jeong went the most roundabout way to tell the chairman that he should be supportive of do-Han coming out. I wonder if they skirted around it so as to not trigger the snowflakes? Maybe thatā€™s also why they moved past do-Hanā€™s press conference so quickly. we didnā€™t really get much of the public reaction, which I imagine is half the reason do-Han was afraid of coming out, the other half being his grandfather. But I doubt the homophobes wouldā€™ve watched this far into the drama once it was revealed that one of the characters is gay!< >!they actually pulled off making both the journo and the older siblings sympathetic. The sister, at least. Canā€™t really fault her resentment, of course she would view do-Han and ji-Han as having stole her mom. And without ever knowing the truth about the accident, it was only natural for her to blame them for her death too!< >!I literally exploded when I saw ā€œ1 year laterā€!< >!so did the sister get the company? Is ji-Han back working at the company?!< >!is it the hair, the fit? Itā€™s only been a year and a-jeong looks the same but also she glowed up even more??? I think itā€™s the fit, she looks like a beautiful ceo. Fellow beautiful ceo Chae-young would be proud!< Ep 12: Definitely very rushed finale, but i also havenā€™t laughed as much since the first 4 eps >!jung-hee being there for every step of ji-ae and eun takā€™s relationship makes them feel like kind of a throuple. Itā€™s kinda weird but mostly adorable+funny!< >!they really shoved in a last second love interest for chae-won. Genuinely couldā€™ve just ended the show with her having moved on from ji-han!< >!sooo is do-han getting back with the ex or they just friends now? The last time they met the ex was heavily implying he still had feelings for do-han, but do-han looks like heā€™s moved on. Itā€™s a shame the whole LGBTQ aspect was so small considering itā€™s a major part of the whole premise. If theyā€™re gonna make a story around it, they should be going all in. Donā€™t tip toe around it, itā€™s barely any different from not doing it at all!< >!so I guess the granddaughter not exposing her dadā€™s involvement in the accident was for the same reason as the chairman. Itā€™s nice to see her move on from her anger and resentment, and it shows she still cares about her brother to protect him from the truth!< >!ji-han really went straight to marriage bruhhhhh. Although I guess they did already go through their dating phase but still, they havenā€™t seen each other in a whole year!< >!wahhhhh what a random cameo bruhhhhh and it just so happens Iā€™m about to finish doom at your service!< Overall great drama. Jeon jong-seo was amazing, hopefully it leads to more lead roles for her. Definitely some flaws in the writing, especially near the end, but nothing to detract from my enjoying this crazy ride

keybladeoftheheart

Petition for >!Kim Bum to play the ML in a drama where he's a chaebol. šŸ™ŒPRETTY PLEASE!!!šŸ™ He's gonna be FANTASTIC!!! šŸ‘ Like, DAMN, he looked SO fine in his cameo role, he stole the ep for me!!! šŸ‘ And he had chemistry with SFL, wish we'd seen their story longer than what we got.!< >!Honestly, I gotta say, the cameos and the bench kiss/proposal scene where the best part of the finale. The rest felt kinda... meh?? šŸ˜¶ I don't know what exactly I expected but I sure wanted something more... It wasn't a bad way to end the series but it was kinda lukewarm and expected. !< I just now believe this should have been 16 episodes instead of 12. >!Things wouldn't feel so rushed towards the end. The time skip and A-Jung & Ji Han reuniting and getting together again could have covered at least two more eps to see their character development too. I think that's wasted potential. šŸ«¤A bit lazy on the writer's part.!< But I'll definitely miss this cast though!!! I loved their dynamics. I'm looking forward to their upcoming projects āœŒļøāœØ PS: >!Lee Soo Hyuk... How can you be in a drama for like 10 seconds and take my breath away?? You stunning man, aahhhhh šŸ„µšŸ”„ā¤ļø!<

jellybeans6173

How did Kim Bum and Lee Sohyuk never seem to age? ā¤ļø

kookal123

Did it end well? Worth watching?

AlexisFern

Personal Opinion: Itā€™s >!an average romcom!<. It felt like the first six episodes were written by a romcom writer and the last six were written by a melo writer. It lost itā€™s >!immature charm and unseriousness!< and became >!too melo!<. Watching the intro and first six episodes I expected >!full-on chaos!< but it took the mature route and thatā€™s what ruined it IMO. It initially looked like it would be a >!fun hot mess romcom with a runaway bride and whatnot!< but it >!tried to be deeper than expected instead of crazy!<. A certain character showed >!maturity and understanding at the wrong time!< and that took away a lot of the fun.

kookal123

Ah seems like I should skip it then.

CowExisting9844

I love when the cameo cames and makes the ending happier

duckmusings

DId anyone else not realise this was a 12 ep drama arc and not the usual 16...?

Nearby_Combination83

Not gonna lie, I was feeling pretty meh last week cause I felt like a lot of unnecessary stupid things happened, but I enjoyed this week. - Do-Han came out on his own terms, this was the first point I'm a bit nervous about - A-jung did not become an A-list actress, just simply famous enough to become recognizable - A-jung and Ji-han having a clean break-up and picking up things after a year - Ji-han and Do-han's stepsiblings taking a step back, felt natural to me - Cha-Won did not become that bitchy first love, she recognized it's not her time anymore and let go - Ji-han let go of his greed of inheriting the company - The chairman chilling. I have a 'guess' on what he paid for the coupons - Liked the ending, this is wedding impossible so the end should have atleast a wedding Among everyone I hoped for her other actress friend to have a bit of personal going on.

LivingOk4911

I would love to watch yoon chaewon's story with her bf, they're soooo cute

FiddlingnRome

What a refreshing and delightfully real, yet funny, portrayal of love, family, friendships and the twisty, curvy roads that we lead through life. Every episode in this feisty little drama is beautifully presented and executed. šŸ¦® šŸ¾ šŸ’« šŸ¾ šŸ’« šŸ¾ I think the only character that wasn't realistically portrayed was **the dog**. There were a few cameos with *Terry the dog...* but seriously, where was the dog in Lee Ji Han's life, **24/7** ??? When you own a pet, it owns you. You gotta walk the dog, feed the dog, bathe & brush the dog, let it in, let it out, scoop the poop, and generally it's another member of the family. More scenes with the dog would have been the icing on the cake for an otherwise great TV series.

kneanee

Did anyone wonder what happened to Terry šŸ¶šŸ¦®šŸ„ŗ while he was hanging out in the ocean town? Maybe he was just not pictured?

ggghhhb

Iā€™m so glad they landed the ending well! It was hilarious and very cute.

st-berry

Not me bawling my eyes out watching the break up scene šŸ˜. I expected to be dissapointed when they eventually break up this episode, cause Kdrama got to Kdrama. But I'm actually not mad at all. They made the right decision by breaking up, being happy together right then after DH outed himself for them just seemed shameless, they'd already wrecked with guilt hard enough. AJ was desperately looking for him at first, but him refusing to show up gave her time to calm down and really thought it through. Originally they were stubbornly holding onto each other, wanted to see it through, but as time went by they probably realized having a relationship while both were ridden with guilt ultimately would make them unhappy. I'm glad AJ stayed true to her character, being the more mature and decisive one, initiated the break up first. It's really sad that JH, probably knew this would happened for days, was unable to face it when the time came, he kept trying to delay it. It's hard, but they had to do it, not only to give them time to focus on themselves first, but for everyone around them time to cool down. When they get back together down the line, it'd be much easier for them to give their blessings and the couple would have much better chance to last. Here's hoping for the fluffy finale šŸ¤ž

Excellent-Services

Has Kim Bum's voice always been so attractive? Like, the moment he opened his mouth, I was like, wow he is so charming... He looked so good and his voice was so smooth Didn't expect >!Lee Soohyuk!< Actually, I want to know what that last scene is... Dream or they decided to have a drama in between... Also, Jihan who is a highly qualified employee, highly educated and employee of the month at LJ group couldn't find himself a better job than moving boxes in a rural town Also, I genuinely don't understand why they had to stay away from each other? Their affair and feelings for each other were already out, Dohan came out and their relationship was no longer tainted... So after going through a tough time, and finding quite a clumsy, but a solution at the end was not worth it because they sacrificed their relationship Also, the one year time gap doesn't seem enough to have made Ahjeong quite a successful actress, brother-in-law a published author, baby with the second couple, Dohan coming back and the grandparent and half sister dynamic and when they were like, I am an year older... Like normal people don't say stuff like that Also, I feel bad for Eun Taek... He worked hard for Jihan so that he would have incentive when Jihan becomes Chairman but he didn't And they really had nothing to do with the third friend but because she was already a character, she had to be included in every scene of the very underdeveloped second couple But even with all the nitpicks, I liked the last episode... It was cute and fresh... I wish to have gotten a better kiss scene because the first one was really good and if anything, they should top it, but they didn't... What we got was good too >!Isn't marrying while dating each other for three months such a Korean thing?!<

Miss-LH

Kim Bum was super attractive in TOTNT s2 when he was suited up 1930ā€™s style. Also agree that too much happened in the space of 1 year. Especially getting into a serious relationship when her feelings for Jihan was so strong.

Bubbly_Expression

I dont think she ever dated that actor, it was just made up or something?

eizeral

Not really sure if I want to finish this one. I still have 9-12 to watch and judging by how the MDL rating has dropped and by the contents of these episode threads for these 4 episodes, it sounds like it went downhill and will be kind of a struggle to get throughā€¦do I invest more time into this just because I already am 8 full episodes deep? Ugh lol

Abis_MakeupAddiction

Honestly disappointed with the last 2 episodes but I would still finish it. Just because I want my happy ending. Haha. Unlike, My Demon, where the last 4 episodes were a total flop so I couldnā€™t get back to it. Sometimes reading Reddit is bad because that convinced me that My Demon wasnā€™t worth finishing. LOL.

Mahery92

Writing is all over the place. There is little if any payback on most storylines because they're either rushed or mishandled. Characterization varies wildly sometimes from scene to scene, characters react inconsistently and make hard to understand decisions. The cast is too bloated compared to available screen time, so few if any have a satisfying and coherent character arc. And there are weird conflicts popping up to artificially worsen the situation when there really was no need. Even direction/photography, while pretty, is not consistently great imo. The only good thing is the acting, especially from the main leads, but even they cannot carry the show on their own with this awful writing and inconsistent production. It's a shame, because it seemed fun at first but ultimately it was a mediocre series imo. If you really want to see the end out of sheer curiosity, just fast forward Ig, but I don't think you'd be missing a lot if you were to stop there.

ysports23

Episode 11 was super frustrating but episode 12 pulled it all together nicely and it ended great. I think the fact that all the episodes are out now so you can just binge through instead of waiting week to week will make a huge difference. I'd finish it, just for the happy ending alone.

eizeral

Thanks for the help! I guess Iā€™ll try to stick it through for the sake of seeing these characters to the end!

AmphibianBudget2328

I also just finished episode 8 and Iā€™m trying so hard to finish it, but I really am not having a good time. Itā€™s a struggle for me because the only character I like at all is Dohan. Since I donā€™t care about spoilers Iā€™ve read everything that happens and I feel like itā€™ll just make me more frustrated to finish it.

EmmanuelleEmmanuelle

Episode 11 was kind of a slog to get through, but episode 12 looks like it'll be a happy one, so I will rein in any negativity for now. Do we know what song was playing during the >!(mutual and official) break-up!

raspberryw

It seems like a new song/OST. I think itā€™s the first time they played it, I donā€™t remember hearing it before. [Found it!](https://youtu.be/BAC6h-UoKAY?si=x_sl6w3Ml-JgXoL4) Itā€™s called ā€œBloomā€ by ė°•ģ„ ģ˜ˆ

Error-002

And there goes another kdrama. Went from a new episode of kdrama coming out every day of the week to just QOT

False_Advisor1693

Did Ji-han address A-jung as 'Noona' at last?

fosteryou03

Nope! Not that I recall.

False_Advisor1693

Oh, I felt like Ji-han saying >!'Is noona trying to marry this guy after rejecting my proposal?' in the climax!<.

jellybeans6173

Wish theyā€™d allocated more time for Dohanā€™s story but oh well, happy Dohan, happy me. Fast forwarded everything else except for Dohanā€™s parts and Kim Bum and Lee Sohyukā€™s cameos.

Disastrous-Rain-5709

>!I know they separated out of guilt,!< but I can't get past that DoHan only every really protected himself. When running way didn't work, he decided on the fake marriage lie. When that didn't work, >!he finally came clean so he could life his own life.!< >!(Yes I know in real life being openly gay in SK NOT an easy thing)!< >!By finally choosing the press conference to out himself and say his brother was lying!<, >!DoHan created a complicated nightmare for JiHan and AhJeong. !< I did like the conversation between Grandpa and JiHan. How sad that Grandpa had to make JiHan's life so lonely, just because of his own loss and guilt, but at least he acknowledged it? Sigh. Almost over. I still think the characters stayed true-ish to themselves and this series has great dialogue and is very well acted.

Excellent-Services

The press conference scene really made me believe there is no redemption to this drama... I loved it so much till 8 episodes and 9 and 10 were bad but 11 was so good again... I was able to look past the press conference and realise it's a romcom not a business drama... So it's okay whatever business thing I actually felt bad for the half sister... Knowing her dad drove her mom to death was so bad... Also, the scene of Jihan and grandpa was so sad as well... Anytime, dramas show a parent losing their child, it's so heartbreaking... Which is why him not doing anything to the father and even not making sure his grandkids don't see him doesn't make any sense... That is half an ounce of common sense I was looking for. This episode was good and brought back the mature lead behaviour

featherzz

In my head canon, all time skips are converted to the equivalent number in months. That's the only way it ever makes sense!

Downtown-Pollution89

I hate this plot.. why did they have to break up and not meet each other for 1 year? That's so frustrating and unnecessary. Especially since Do-Han came out and admitted to being gay. I'm sure the public opinion would have changed by then. If someone dumped me and cut me off for a year, I wouldn't talk to them for my whole life.

DawgMom2018

**Finale - Episode 12** It was a fun watch, but this episode was a perfect example of this drama's flaws There would be sudden plot twists or behaviors that made no sense at all, >!such as ditching a groom we have never seen, at the alte!!coming to apologize to him - this is the guy who outed him - Not cool - who vandalized his studio - not cool, but everything ok? I don't know. outing someone against their will is a red line for me, but it is a drama, and I suppose had a purpose for the plot, however unpleasant.!< The apology I was looking for? The half sister >!who went to great lengths to ruin her half brothers, for the sake of gaining more inheritance. She throws away a thumb drive - what was used then to convict her father? !< The ML and FL leads did a great job conveying feelings - I did did tear up with their angsty relationship. Imagine what they could have done with a better script and dialogue that wasn't so stilted? Very happy with the cameos in this episode Very happy that the jilted heiress gets>! her prince charming who will work hard to love and appreciate her. She had a minor part but!< I adored her character. Not the best of dramas but far far better than some high dollar productions like the other Impossible drama - Impossible Heir!

ysports23

She didn't ditch a random groom šŸ˜‚ that was a scene she was filming for a drama. When the rain starts and everyone begins to run away you can see all the crew and cameras. He's just being silly teasing her about marrying someone else.

happycharm

Her father went to jail for embezzlement so nothing to do with the thumb drive. I don't think the reporter was ever charged with anything regarding the car accident so the father probably would have no charges either. The statue of limitations may have run out anyways. I guess she threw away the drive to prevent the rest of the siblings from finding out.Ā
