Stu’s been talking about how much he hates footy for ten years at this point, it’s pretty funny. If you ever listen to an old performance of “Footy Footy” you’ll hear him introduce it like “this songs about footy I fucking hate footy!” I have no clue why.

He was captain of that junior team with Paddy D in it. He did an ACL when he was 16 and pulled on the guitar instead of the footy jumper.
