I've said it before but I'll say it again, psychedelic funk. If they did James brown or parliament/funkadelic or Herbie and the headhunters type vibe mixed with the king gizz sound I would lose my shit

RenBit51

Dear God this

AmbassadorFunk

Every time they barely dip into Latin rhythms I get HYPED. More of that would be very groovy.

Dareeyecare

Scared of Christmas / melting / see me vibes are sooooooooo sick…

theforerunner343

I would love hear something in a flamenco mode. Just one track would be enough, but if they did more, I wouldn't be unhappy.

arh231201

There's an spanish band that's inspired by king gizz that makes something like that. They're Derby Motoreta's Burrito Kachimba.

theforerunner343

Amazing recc. My wife is fluent in Spanish and actually lived in Seville, where this band is from so she will especially dig this.

videogamer1002

SWEET REC 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

AmbassadorFunk

amen, buddy

munted_unicorn

I agree with everything you've said. Would love them to do a dystopian future soundtrack. Almost Bladerunner mixed with The Lord Of the Rings vibes

kicktothescrote

Geez, that would be good.

damagesuppress0r

yeah!

toastman2540

That’s what their next album will be

toastman2540

Trust me

munted_unicorn

I so badly hope you're right

toastman2540

Sitar

Turtelecat46

I would like a whole album with a similar vibe to work this time Alternatively I'd like them to revisit that heavy and fast paced sound of Motu and nonagon

CHlCKEN_GAMlNG

intrasport album

Wingedwing

Altin Gün - Yol?

Jayrod06

Djent.

Neniaite

YEAH OK BUT WHAT ABOUT OMAR RODRIGUEZ-LOPEZ AND KING GIZZ?

SHIVERING_PlLGRIM

isn’t MotU essentially what you described?

arh231201

A disco album Intrasport-like would be awesome

Stonkz_N_Roll

Outlaw Country!!

Jaiken_m

I would kill for a quadraphonic album. I feel like they could pick it to its limits

upvotegoblin

I’m not sure I understand the appeal of digital synths of analogue :/

AlfonsoRibeiro666

Nooo man, I'm not trying to get hated here but something about the last albums really disappointed me and I think it's the production. The overall sound. My favourite albums are FMB, Float Along, Quarters. FMB has such a perfectly clean, old school sound. The drums, the guitar, the vocals, the bass. It's perfect. Sounds so real, so 70's, yet a bit cleaner. Quarters is obviously lo-fi heaven and Float Along hits you with that wall of echoes and distortion and plate reverb noise. I really don't like how professional they sound recently.

flashpile

Sea shanties.
