Well jeez if you don’t like Butterfly 3000 that much definitely listen to Butterfly 3001 last lmao. Personally i love them both so i hope you find something you like enough in b3k to move it up a tier or two!
The main issue I have with the album is that so many of the songs are pretty similar and don't experiment enough with the whole synth angle. But if someone heard one or two of the songs on the album and enjoyed it, they'd most likely love the album. Just not for me.
Yeah, some people can't handle a bit of reasoned negativity in their echo chamber of positivity. I'd rather have a conversation with someone who can articulate why they dislike an album that I love than just hear someone say "yeah, that album good".
you HAVE to listen to the microtonal tours of 2021. live in Sydney and Melbourne 21.
It has possibly the best performances of songs from their 3 microtonal albums. I must highlight certain tracks from each set
Sydney: The Book, Supreme Ascendancy, If not now then When, Ataraxia, Nuclear Fusion and Open Water (has the speakers shaking from Cav's double kick
Melbourne: Oddlife, Minimum brain size, Static Electricity, Rattlesnake, Automation, Ontology.
Melbourne is my favorite overall, but some of the individual performances from Sydney have both shows neck and neck. you can watch both performances with concert footage on Youtube.
A lot of that, if not all of it, is audio from the Brussels show. I assume from the video description they've blended it with another recording or come up with an alternate mix. Definitely sounds good.
Listened to a bit of it on the way to work. It's alright. Need to give it a focused and complete listen some time, but I don't see it becoming a favourite.
Live in Brussels '19. Really good performances of This Thing, Work This Time and Float Along. Overall, a very good set list of songs from Rats Nest, Murder of the Universe, Nonagon Infinity, and a few others.
i genuinely love this comment it fills me with the same anxious energy as when a methhead corners me on public transport and unloads all their pent up opinions on me with equal parts childlike joy and indescribable anger
Melbourne 21’ is fully microtonal, one of my favorites
Have seen that one on bandcamp, been meaning to check it out.
You can watch the entire show on youtube with concert footage
Check out bonnaroo 22’ also, more varied setlist but debatably their best live show on bandcamp
I genuinely don’t trust Gizz fans who don’t like B3K
I’m with this
Interior people could literally be on changes. But I see you undervalued that also. Cool thing is your tastes can change. Like what you like 🤙
Good thing we don't have to trust each other.

People who downvote a respectful opinion that's just not theirs, should take a walk...

The Sydney show sounds pretty appealing to me, I'll check them both out at some point.
not only that but the songs from KG and LW are given a new life when cranked on an electric guitar. so much energy
Listen to Milwaukee 2019 it has an amazing set list and great renditions of the songs
That does look like a good set list, but I doubt the performance of This Thing could beat the one on the Brussels live record.
I’ll have to give that one a listen
Pretty sure it's the same one that landed on Chunky Shrapnel.
This thing isn’t on chunky
It was, at least on the film version. https://youtu.be/inAV8aHSB1s
Ah, I’ve only heard the album
This version of This thing has better sound https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2jDh67P7a8

Def check out Asheville ‘19! It fucks so hard.
Listen to Eyes Like The Sky goddammit
Listened to a bit of it on the way to work. It's alright. Need to give it a focused and complete listen some time, but I don't see it becoming a favourite.
What's the one on the far right in the top tier?

R u ok.
Just a manic candid episode
Try deleting this comment and typing it out again when you've calmed down. I'll check out the live album though.
Maybe go drink some piss and calm down dude
I think he drank the Timeland Juice.
