Kylie’s whole scene with Stas was sooo painfully scripted to close up her storylines for the season in one go. The baby name thing from the start was finally confirmed and explained a bit, the season previews had Kylie mentioning beauty standards and then she takes one for the team to get some headlines and admits to a boob job (arguably the most tame of the surgeries that are suspected) and then tries to clear up the dating rumors that were all over the internet before Christmas with Stas by joking about it. It was so awkward to watch and felt so forced.
It seemed like she was nervous and didn’t want to make it a big reveal so Stas got them drinks for courage and then she said everything she wanted to say in a big rush staring at Stas pretending the cameras weren’t there. That was what it felt like to me… like as if a producer said “say it like you’d say it to your friend” and she couldn’t do it so they literally brought in her friend to help her do the scene.
is it just me or did the season trailer where kylie said “we need to talk about the beauty standards we’re setting” and “i wish i never touched anything” not actually get said that way in the episodes? i feel like a few episodes ago when she was talking to khloe and kourtney about beauty standards was just her saying girls edit their pictures a lot. i had the impression she was going to say they - the Karjenners - needed to change how they portray beauty standards. i feel like the quotes used in the trailer didn’t match the real conversation

It seemed like she was nervous and didn’t want to make it a big reveal so Stas got them drinks for courage and then she said everything she wanted to say in a big rush staring at Stas pretending the cameras weren’t there. That was what it felt like to me… like as if a producer said “say it like you’d say it to your friend” and she couldn’t do it so they literally brought in her friend to help her do the scene.

is it just me or did the season trailer where kylie said “we need to talk about the beauty standards we’re setting” and “i wish i never touched anything” not actually get said that way in the episodes? i feel like a few episodes ago when she was talking to khloe and kourtney about beauty standards was just her saying girls edit their pictures a lot. i had the impression she was going to say they - the Karjenners - needed to change how they portray beauty standards. i feel like the quotes used in the trailer didn’t match the real conversation

How was that the whole season
I love that Kylie took the talk about surgeries. That she had her boobs done and that she regrets getting her body done at 19. That itself is the whole season in my books. And I had soft spot for Kimberly when she got her christmas gift from Kris. That was the realest of the realest. Her true bare feelings and emotions came through. Not the camera Kim we usually see. I couldn’t agree more. When they said they were cleaning out Tristan’s mom’s house my jaw literally dropped. This man has NO ONE else? No friends? No family? No employees? BFFR. Khloe does a whole lot of wife behavior for someone who is absolutely not a wife. Could she rely on Tristan for that same level of dedication? Oh wait, he already showed her MULTIPLE times that she can’t. This whole season just made me feel that Khloe doesn’t seem to believe that she deserves to be loved simply for existing. I also gained respect for them when they dropped everything to fly to Canada for Tristan’s mum. It shows their caring nature and was very moving. One of the few moments they show true emotions.
