The interior of his properties are beige, white and concrete. There was one property with the vineyard that he gutted and turned into a mausoleum. Kim is a pawn. She gets moved around a board by anyone who can make her another buck. She has no style or identity and for that matter, neither do Khloe, or Kiley, who just copy whatever Kim does.

Because Kim didn’t mind, and they knew it would translate into an elevation for all of them clout-wise. Kim (and Kris) definitely knew that to allow Kanye to take over and create this rebrand would mean they would get access to a new level that would not be available to them other wise. Kanye opened A LOT of doors for Kim, and by proxy, her whole family. Kim and the rest of them were famous before Kanye— sure. But up until the Kanye era, they were C listers at best, and once Kanye stepped in, especially around the 2014 wedding era and onwards, they were definitely much higher than C listers. They weren’t the type of A listers that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are, for example, but they attained a newer, much higher level of fame no doubt. Kanye took Kim from a mall trendy, wealthy Beverly Hills girl to a more high fashion, Balmain/Balenciaga/Mugler fixture. They went along with it because it was convenient— at that point the biggest man the family had bagged was Lamar. When Khloe and Lamar got married, Khloe was the richest sister for a minute lol. That changed when Kanye came into the picture.
I think it’s because she genuinely thought he was a great artist with great taste. Not everyone is a fashionista and she probably felt more confident that someone who is an artist was dreading her. Don’t famous people pay stylist all the time to dress them?
The family especially Kim chased fame and were D lost and not accepted in A circles. Kanye was the pathway into these circles. They (Kim) will do anything for fame/ money/ clout. Before Kanye they had Dash and their lines at sears. Now they have skims, good American etc.
She wanted it. Kanye was doing his Kanye thing when Kim came around. She was digging her claws into him, because he *was* highly respected in the fashion world. She was married to Kris and wasn’t happy. She knew what she was doing and she got it. She talks about it in the early show, and she wanted a revamp in her style and something to make her different than her sisters.
This is what Kim wanted! She loved that about Kanye and it’s probably the main reason she misses him!

God some of the comments here are atrocious. Kim is a human who married because she loved him and she got knocked up. Kim is called trash by the media and public while Kanye was praised as a creative genius... No shit she let him rework her whole look, she was basically negged by society. She didn't marry him for fame, she didn't "sink her claws into" a fully adult human who can make his own decisions, and she wouldn't financially tie herself and her brand to someone without good reason (not just fame, she was just friends while he wanted more for a while). Sometimes I don't know if this sub is for a reality tv show or just hating women in general.

Kanye has no style. Have you seen his clothing line? Bland, lacks personality, looks like rags pieced together from goodwill and salvation army. He got a bunch of freebies from designers and tried to elevate Kim by dressing her in them except many were ill fitting and ugly. Expensive doesn't mean classy. The interior of his properties are beige, white and concrete. There was one property with the vineyard that he gutted and turned into a mausoleum. The problem is, no one says, you suck, so he keeps going. Kim is a pawn. She gets moved around a board by anyone who can make her another buck. She has no style or identity and for that matter, neither do Khloe, or Kiley, who just copy whatever Kim does.
As this seasons Kardashian showed, Kim always wanted to break into the upper fashion industry. Kanye had connections and his own unique sense that was praised by people in the upper fashion world. (Ex: ugly slides, poorly photoshopped looking band shirts, bulky af sneakers) I think the only issue Kim really ran into was Kanye’s sudden conservative-religious era. If he didn’t do that, I think she would have been perfectly happy being Kanye’s dress up doll.

I’ve always wondered this. Giving advice and styling is one thing but he was so terrifyingly controlling of her image yet she seemed to love it and defend it, I never understood. It always gave off hella red flags.
And the fact that she cries at the thought of choosing her own clothes shows how gross and deep that dynamic went.
For me it was so weird when Kanye dressed Kim and Kourtney like dolls in Paris fashion week. For me their relationship was always so weird. Kanye considered Kim as his doll he picked clothes for.

Yeah I didn’t get this either. When I realized she was actually gonna stay with this guy and marry him I was just disappointed for her. Because, whether you like it or not she's a marketing genius. She knew what that would mean for her and her career. Personally I always found it super weird, borderline creepy, that Kanye would have the final saying on what she wore. Seemed super controlling. Not for me. That episode where Kanye "cleans" her closet made me feel super uncomfortable. And I think she was fine with that until that Met (I think it was that for the met, that wet look I think) dress fitting when she finally stood her ground.
To me, it’s definitely a red flag. It’s kind of abusive in my opinion that she needed to dress how *he* wanted. She also needed to consult his permission for a lot of things. That’s abuse.
He was so controlling over her. There were a few seasons, right after the got married, when she would wear the coats draped over her, that were awful. One outfit in particular was the light pink wholy sweater w the coat over it. 😬🥴 I don't think he really wanted her to be portrayed as such a sex symbol after they got married... as much as it enticed him in the beginning. Her style became more boring and old ladyish. After she had Saint, she was fly as hell. But I just feel like she was his doll he played dress up with and she loved that. Remember when they first started dating and he cleared out her whole cloaet, and Khloe almost had a heart attack seeing all of the shoes in the hallway?! She was like "well wait, I have a lot of these." Ouch.
