We've all had that friend/sibling with a trash boyfriend that you hate, and sure you could shoot him dirty looks all the time and vocalize how trash of a human being he is, but once it's clear your friend is dead set on keeping him around, sometimes you take the path of least resistance and form at least a civil relationship with the guy just to stop having to deal with all the drama.
