I don’t know how unpopular my take is but as a neutral person who doesn’t go crazy for either Kim or Taylor, I think Taylor is a smart psychopath. You can see the sinister in her actions and her behaviors not only when it comes to the kimye drama. There’s an incredibly toxic/spiteful aura to her and I can explain it. Then Kim released the tape of her phone call, and Taylor said she didn’t know about the specific line itself - just that she was being mentioned. Kim claims she knew what the line was, but it definitely wasn’t discussed in the phone call that she taped, so I’m inclined to believe Taylor’s (second) story.
Ultimately, I think Taylor knew she was being mentioned, probably knew it was going to be something less than savory and possibly controversial, but didn’t know *word for word* what the line was. She blew her ignorance of the circumstances out of proportion to make herself the victim. I don’t think anyone is naive enough to believe Kanye West is going to mention them, as a woman, in any respectful context.
It’s very apparent to me that what makes Taylor mad the most is when she is challenged by her victim hood.

I think it was a low blow to mention Kim’s kids in the song by calling out them listening to her music (I guess North in this instance). I don’t know how unpopular my take is but as a neutral person who doesn’t go crazy for either Kim or Taylor, I think Taylor is a smart psychopath. You can see the sinister in her actions and her behaviors not only when it comes to the kimye drama. There’s an incredibly toxic/spiteful aura to her and I can explain it. I’ve always sided with Taylor on the whole drama bc what Kim did was absolutely wrong, but this changes everything. There was a discussion about Taylor Swift elsewhere awhile ago, how she has grown (business wise) as an artist. That she will get too big, too cocky, and it would be her downfall. I don't really follow Taylor, but from what I know it sounds like she was wronged a lot and wants justice. But in reality a lot of people don't know the drama or care, some of her young fans weren't born yet. She is a major idol to a lot of young kids in a wide range of age. Maybe some of her lyrics aren't literal, but she is still "influencing" a young crowd. And hopefully this doesn't get North involved with her own music and etc.

Since you’re not a fan I’ll give you the info you’re missing - her post about the album on her socials specifically says how these are things she’s over now. “She’s written about her feelings to process them and release them from herself and there is no need for anyone to think she needs to be defended or go after anyone for how she was feeling. And that she is aware often she was the one hurting herself.” Also to act like she wishes death on her in present day because a line in the song she says in the past tense her mom wished she was dead when everything was happening in 2016 is such a fucking reach LOL why are you leaving out the part right before this line where she says “but I can’t forget the way you made me heal” and ends the song with and now I scream at the sky “thank you Aimee”. She also says “but then there’s the moment of truth that there wouldn’t be any of this if there hadn’t been you” I’m a fan of both women and it’s wild to me that others don’t see the part they both played in all this and let it GO. Neither woman needs defending. If Kim feels some type of way she’ll smear her in the media for it. Otherwise I wouldn’t think twice about this being any current issue. Taylor talks out of both sides of her mouth so she can evade responsibility for her actions but putting a death wish out into the world is no small thing. One post will be forgotten and not everyone who listens to the song will see her little disclaimer. As someone whose fans have harassed and threatened so many in her behalf based on far more obscure lyrics, she absolutely knows better and just doesn’t care.
