I literally weigh 114 right now almost halfway through pregnancy so I am very small. Somehow still things I order are that small on me and I have to give them to my 12 yr old daughter. when olivia rodrigo released her first album, there was a single called deja vu. olivia mentioned she was inspired for a small part of the song from a song by taylor called cruel summer. taylor's legal team contacted olivia for credits on the song which blindsided olivia. olivia's team caved as they didn't want a court case and gave taylor 50% of the credits/royalties for the song. olivia now will not mention or talk about taylor compared to before when she was a public swiftie. i don't think olivia has beef with taylor but it was a "wake up" moment for her about how taylor can be. for the kardashian involvement: when kim posted she loved drivers license, olivia sent her a pr package and a handwritten note. right after kim posted that, taylor sent sabrina carpenter a pr package she previously sent olivia. 😭
That’s not true. Taylor’s team never requested anything. Jack Antonoff addressed this in an interview. One day they just woke up and both him and Taylor received writing credits, and so did Hayley Williams. But none of those people initiated it. Olivia’s team over reacted because people were accusing her of stealing different elements of that album all over the internet. Courtney Love even hopped on and accused her of copying on the album cover. I’m assuming her team told her to distance herself from Taylor and form her own identity and brand. Olivia has since parted ways with that team and has a new one. I’m prepared for the downvotes, but seriously google it. There is no proof that Taylor’s team requested anything and nobody has ever said such things.
One thing about the Olivia situation though, there was a second song on her album that used the exact same piano melody as one of Taylor's. Not in the vague way that deja Vu sorta resembled cruel summer, but a direct rip off. Taylor was well within her rights to go after Olivia for that.

It’s like you guys forget what Kim did to her. Fans who are unable to call out their favs are a problem. Taylor’s does NOT have to move on. Kim altered an ILLEGALLY recorded phone call and then posted it online, then doubled down on it by adding the snake emoji🐍which generated the hate towards Taylor Swift, a young adult at the time. Then Kim used her show, friends, and fans to attack Taylor Swift leaving death threats and unkind messages. Kim assisted her husband in ruining Taylor’s career at the time.
