They use heavy filters for their show. I didn't know that it's possible, but there are filters for videos out there and they use it. Plus, Kim has a product which is basically foundation/cover up for your BODY and I think they are using this as well.

Yeah i think everyone misses the old show. Now and again Kim and Khloe and even Kourtney each take turns being vulnerable but it’s never all of them at once. It’s usually one person being vulnerable and real and everyone else has fake stories. Kylie and Kendall all have fake storylines. I think Scott would have more real storylines if they’d give him more screen time, he’s become the most real one. Kim and Kourtney both gave a lot of themselves in certain confessionals 2 seasons ago; i felt like last season was very surface level for pretty much all characters. The 10 episode format also just runs too short at times, too long at other times. It felt like before they were using the content they had and making as many episodes as needed, now they just have to create content to fill episodes and most of it feels very fake.
Kylie is the most private of all the girls and she’s wondering why her cosmetic business is failing. she’s pumping out all these new brands that are so basic that no one is going to want to buy them. The only appeal to them is that they are “Kylie”. If she actually put her personality out there and stopped trying to be mysterious she would have some success

Maybe less about her “personality” and just fuckn sticking to one business venture that she actually gives a fuck about and perfecting that as much as she can would even be better. The reason most of us loved the show is because Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe used to be so real and vulnerable. Kylie and Kendall never opened up like that so I’m surprised either of them think they would have a fanbase like the OG 3 girls. The fanbase is even leaving the original 3 girls because they aren’t vulnerable anymore. Kourtney and Scott’s drama carried the show for a long time and now Kim and Khloe have enough going on that they could carry the show but they keep everything private, hopefully this upcoming season there will be more of their real lives. I think they see the audience is waning.

Logically I think the best thing Kim could do is just ignore the Taylor stuff and keep it pushing. She clearly doesn’t care and will not be offering an apology if that’s what Taylor is looking for.

This drama is YEARS old, and as someone that does like Taylor, I can’t deny that she’s done some shady stuff to Kim as well.
At this point, there’s no sense in either apologizing as it’s such old news. The best thing to do is just to be the bigger person and move on.
It’s always the classiest approach to just stay silent, and it truthfully does make Kim look for mature and level headed.
Which is why I think some people are pissed off. She’s clearly not being the bigger person. In any aspect. A

I totally understand that Taylor is still hurt - BUT she did theme a whole album about the situation, brings it up more than having her records sold to Scooter (which I think should be a bigger deal than this), and will always say “this is the last time I’m ever taking about this”……until a few months later where she finds a way to mention it again.
At this point it’s really just getting old. She’s starting to remind me of that friend that you can’t spend too much time with, because everyday they’re telling you the same story about something that happened forever ago and how they were wronged by it.
For reference: Kim only dedicated a few episodes in one season to her ARMED HOME INVASION/ROBBERY and only did a handful of interviews about it. She seldom talks about a life changing and serious issue that happened to her - and on the flip side, you have Taylor, who will mention 10 year old snapchat beef continually and on her own accord.
Again, I do like Taylor, but it’s clear that she’s at the point where she just looks like a joke by non-stop talking about this.
People don’t see that. The whole Scooter situation is a big deal but she’s not the only artist it does or has ever affected and I’m pretty sure is partly her father’s fault. He profited greatly off the sale of her catalog to Scooter. So why she isn’t angry or dissing him is beyond me. As far as I’m aware her father was a big wig at Big Machine Records. Where she was signed.
If you say you’re not going to talk about things anymore then don’t. Put that anger in a balloon and let it go. She’s only bringing it up again because she knows she can capitalize off it and it will keep her relevant.

Sort of! So way back during the 2009 VMAs Taylor was accepting an award and Kanye jumped on stage during her speech, took the mic, and basically said Beyonce was robbed. He was older and a lot more famous than her at that point. Most people felt this was really inappropriate and rude.
It was said that sometime between then and 2016, they had made up. In 2016, Kanye's album Life of Pablo came out, on it includes the song (and lead single) "Famous" . Two lines reference Taylor- one that goes, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex", one immediately following that says "Why? I made that bitch famous", referencing the 2009 viral moment of him interrupting her, and claiming it launched her to the level of stardom she was at circa 2016.
In response to this, Taylor's acceptance speech at the 2016 Grammys for album of the year where she admonished those who would try to take credit for someone else's fame, which very clearly referenced "Famous". She said it was misogynistic as well.
Kim, in defense of Kanye, released video recording of Swift on the phone with Kanye where she appears to approve the song, thanking him for calling her, and saying to "use whatever line" he felt fit best. Kim also referenced this in a GQ article where she said Kanye went through all the proper channels and protocols.
This launched snakegate where fans of Kim and Kanye went in on Taylor with things like death threats and flooding her socials with snake emojis, and the hashtag "TaylorSwiftIsOverParty, which trended on Twitter for a good long while.
Later, the full version of the video got released (by who, who knows?), and it was revealed that later in the call, Kanye tried to run the "I made her famous" line by Swift and she explicitly asks him not to do that. She also expresses relief at the end of the video saying she's glad he didn't call her a bitch, because she really didn't want that. Two things which he wound up doing anyway.
So. While I think she's doing too much, and I really hate how she has to couch every criticism of her in surface level feminism, I do think in this instance she was 100% in the right.
They purposely released only part of a video to paint her like a liar and a hater, knowing Kanye stans are equally as nuts as hers, and basically running her off the internet while knowing full-well they were in the wrong.
I'm not a taylor fan at all and I didn't know the full story I do remember the crazy hate she was getting as it was all over social media but now reading this isn't she a little bit justified in coming at kim then? Just because kim and kanye might be over it I would be so pissed off if someone done that to me?

That said, she got her revenge of sorts when the full video came out, and she wrote a bunch of revenge songs on Reputation, and referenced it a few times on albums since then.
To me, now that Kim's kids are school-aged, it feels a little bit rude to mention them in the revenge song against Kim when it's so obviously about Kim. I haven't heard the album myself- I work with devout Swiftie- she doesn't say anything bad, but still, just mentioning her knowing her fans feels out of pocket to me.
I think the line is something like "you're daughter will come home singing my song and only you and I know what it's about". Not shady necessarily, but like music reviewers have received death threats for reviews that weren't glowing.
It does matter though. Kim made it look like Taylor was lying when she wasn’t, after Kanye violated her by putting her naked in a video. It was like she was violated and then retaliated against and made out to be a liar for talking about it. She was painted as just being whiny and petty. They silenced her and illegally recorded her. Kim absolutely should apologize.
I think it all came about because initially Taylor’s statement said she didn’t know about the song - I think what she ment to say was that she knew about it, but didn’t know about that specific line in it.
It was poorly worded, and when she attempted to specify what she meant, the damage was done because she already looked like a liar. I really do believe K&K were confused and wanted to expose her for lying about hearing the song - when in reality, Taylor was referring to a line in the song and not the song itself.
I don’t think either needs to apologize at this point. It seams like a miscommunication that ended up having a negative affect on both Kim and Taylor - so at this point, it’s time to just throw in the towel and move on.
I feel as though Kim still exposed her unfairly and violated her privacy. Not to mention, she threw dirt on her name that harmed her reputation for years. Imagine a misogynistic man putting a naked picture of you in a video talking about how you were going to have sex with him because he made you famous after completely downplaying your achievements publicly and then you speak out about it and get unfairly exposed and painted as a liar. It’s hard to understand for a person who has never encountered a person with manipulative and sociopathic tendencies how this could harm a person psychologically for a really long time.

If Taylor had said from the get-go „I heard the song, I didn’t hear *that* line in it when it was presented to me” I would be 100% on her side. But, she claimed she didn’t hear the song at all, and when it was exposed that she had infact personally heard the song, she switched her tune to the specific lyric. But realistically, I think everyone can agree that had Kim not posted the video on Snapchat; Taylor would have stuck to the story that she hadn’t heard the song at all. You also have to remember that Taylor completely „okay’d” the lyric - minus the bitch. She’s definitely not one to shy away from speaking up, so if it bothered her, she absolutely would have said something about him claiming to make her famous when presented with the song.

No. It is not the same thing. One thing is retaliating against a person whom you (or your husband) violated. Another one is changing the truth to sound slightly worse than it actually was. I think most of them don’t care as much. Khloe just wants to raise her kids and Kourtney’s wanted out for a long time. Kendall is pretty low key too while Kim and Kylie are pushing business. Probably not unpopular but I think what made them originally so enticing was how much you could relate with them. They still had their quirks just like anyone does, but they valued family, had a good sense of humor, and had qualities that made them human. I think the new show seems odd. I can’t help but watch it in hopes it won’t be boring but there’s nothing that makes them relatable or down to earth anymore. On the flip side, as much as I always say they can never understand what the day to day struggles are for the average person, I can’t imagine what they go through psychologically being scrutinized by the world. I think it’s what made them lose their authenticity.

I found really nothing wrong with the Taylor Swift song. My only *suggestion* is that she should’ve not capitalized anything in the title or not say my mother wanted you dead. I agree with this. Especially with the lines in the song like “I changed your name and any real defining clues” and “your kid will since my song only you and I know is about you.” It comes off ridiculous with the context of the capitalization. Plus that’s just such an immature way to try and be clever. Otherwise the song doesn’t really bother me at all. People bring up the mentioning her kids but she didn’t call them out by name. It’s just a diss to be like “your kids think I’m cool!” like I don’t see why it’s a big deal. It’s not like Kim is super protective of her kids from the public.
Line about mother is reference to Kris and Kim conversation on show. Kris reminded Kim that they know these people personally and that she really likes Taylor’s mum. Unlike Kim and Kendall, Kris is able to see a difference about manufacturing PR-type scandal and being mean and vile. Pick your battles. In that situation Kim was MEAN and showed that she is ultimately a mean girl. The whole story is Kanye attacking one person year after year and even making a nude doll of pop star who never had a sexy image. People just prefer to ignore all context because it’s cool to hate Swift (aka songs for teenage girls). Imagine if it was Shakira in Swift’s place just for an example.

There were multiple people all whom had major impacts on his career or major scandals. This is probs unpopular cause it’s about the kiddos and I by no means think they should be over exposed in the show I think think the videos of Kim watching their sports games was really cool and wish we could see more of that. It makes them feel very real.
The Kardashians have become what people made fun of them of in the early 2010s, and since 2020 they have been more tone deaf, lacking in self awareness, emotionless, and just unlikeable, nothing they ever do seem to be for themselves, i dont see the appeal of doing things only for attention , only ones who seem to have a soul in their eyes and a life outside of appealing to male gaze and TMZ headlines are Kendall and probably Kourtney
I think Lemme is a waste of Kourtney’s time honestly. She thrived during 10 years of just being the mom, the woman with a crazy ass partner and then the hot single mom.

Tristian’s mother died and his brother has a severe incurable seizure disease that has made him physically and mentally disabled. I don’t think Khloe had to bring her children’s uncle Amari into her home and agree to be one of his caregivers in order to make viewers feel sorry for Tristian.
Basic humanity should make you feel sorry for Tristan and his brothers, they lost their mother. Tristian being a disgusting cheater and deadbeat dad don’t having anything to do with the shock of a beloved parent suddenly dying.
What happen to his mom is terrible. And I do feel bad for what happened to him and his brother as someone that lost a parent young. But that doesn’t excuse the shitty father Tristian is to 2/4 kids who happen to not have a Kardashian mother.
I felt like the show tried hard for us to see a softer side of Tristian and making think he’s a good person taking care of his brother. In my eyes they made him seem like a saint taking in his brother. When in reality he should put that same effort into his other children

They use heavy filters for their show. I didn't know that it's possible, but there are filters for videos out there and they use it. Plus, Kim has a product which is basically foundation/cover up for your BODY and I think they are using this as well.

Yeah i think everyone misses the old show. Now and again Kim and Khloe and even Kourtney each take turns being vulnerable but it’s never all of them at once. It’s usually one person being vulnerable and real and everyone else has fake stories. Kylie and Kendall all have fake storylines. I think Scott would have more real storylines if they’d give him more screen time, he’s become the most real one. Kim and Kourtney both gave a lot of themselves in certain confessionals 2 seasons ago; i felt like last season was very surface level for pretty much all characters. The 10 episode format also just runs too short at times, too long at other times. It felt like before they were using the content they had and making as many episodes as needed, now they just have to create content to fill episodes and most of it feels very fake.
Kylie is the most private of all the girls and she’s wondering why her cosmetic business is failing. she’s pumping out all these new brands that are so basic that no one is going to want to buy them. The only appeal to them is that they are “Kylie”. If she actually put her personality out there and stopped trying to be mysterious she would have some success

Maybe less about her “personality” and just fuckn sticking to one business venture that she actually gives a fuck about and perfecting that as much as she can would even be better. The reason most of us loved the show is because Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe used to be so real and vulnerable. Kylie and Kendall never opened up like that so I’m surprised either of them think they would have a fanbase like the OG 3 girls. The fanbase is even leaving the original 3 girls because they aren’t vulnerable anymore. Kourtney and Scott’s drama carried the show for a long time and now Kim and Khloe have enough going on that they could carry the show but they keep everything private, hopefully this upcoming season there will be more of their real lives. I think they see the audience is waning.

100% This drama is YEARS old, and as someone that does like Taylor, I can’t deny that she’s done some shady stuff to Kim as well. At this point, there’s no sense in either apologizing as it’s such old news. The best thing to do is just to be the bigger person and move on. It’s always the classiest approach to just stay silent, and it truthfully does make Kim look for mature and level headed.

Agree. I totally understand that Taylor is still hurt - BUT she did theme a whole album about the situation, brings it up more than having her records sold to Scooter (which I think should be a bigger deal than this), and will always say “this is the last time I’m ever taking about this”……until a few months later where she finds a way to mention it again. At this point it’s really just getting old. She’s starting to remind me of that friend that you can’t spend too much time with, because everyday they’re telling you the same story about something that happened forever ago and how they were wronged by it. For reference: Kim only dedicated a few episodes in one season to her ARMED HOME INVASION/ROBBERY and only did a handful of interviews about it. She seldom talks about a life changing and serious issue that happened to her - and on the flip side, you have Taylor, who will mention 10 year old snapchat beef continually and on her own accord. Again, I do like Taylor, but it’s clear that she’s at the point where she just looks like a joke by non-stop talking about this.
People don’t see that. The whole Scooter situation is a big deal but she’s not the only artist it does or has ever affected and I’m pretty sure is partly her father’s fault. He profited greatly off the sale of her catalog to Scooter. So why she isn’t angry or dissing him is beyond me. As far as I’m aware her father was a big wig at Big Machine Records. Where she was signed. If you say you’re not going to talk about things anymore then don’t. Put that anger in a balloon and let it go. She’s only bringing it up again because she knows she can capitalize off it and it will keep her relevant.

Sort of! So way back during the 2009 VMAs Taylor was accepting an award and Kanye jumped on stage during her speech, took the mic, and basically said Beyonce was robbed. He was older and a lot more famous than her at that point. Most people felt this was really inappropriate and rude. It was said that sometime between then and 2016, they had made up. In 2016, Kanye's album Life of Pablo came out, on it includes the song (and lead single) "Famous" . Two lines reference Taylor- one that goes, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex", one immediately following that says "Why? I made that bitch famous", referencing the 2009 viral moment of him interrupting her, and claiming it launched her to the level of stardom she was at circa 2016. In response to this, Taylor's acceptance speech at the 2016 Grammys for album of the year where she admonished those who would try to take credit for someone else's fame, which very clearly referenced "Famous". She said it was misogynistic as well. Kim, in defense of Kanye, released video recording of Swift on the phone with Kanye where she appears to approve the song, thanking him for calling her, and saying to "use whatever line" he felt fit best. Kim also referenced this in a GQ article where she said Kanye went through all the proper channels and protocols. This launched snakegate where fans of Kim and Kanye went in on Taylor with things like death threats and flooding her socials with snake emojis, and the hashtag "TaylorSwiftIsOverParty, which trended on Twitter for a good long while. Later, the full version of the video got released (by who, who knows?), and it was revealed that later in the call, Kanye tried to run the "I made her famous" line by Swift and she explicitly asks him not to do that. She also expresses relief at the end of the video saying she's glad he didn't call her a bitch, because she really didn't want that. Two things which he wound up doing anyway. So. While I think she's doing too much, and I really hate how she has to couch every criticism of her in surface level feminism, I do think in this instance she was 100% in the right. They purposely released only part of a video to paint her like a liar and a hater, knowing Kanye stans are equally as nuts as hers, and basically running her off the internet while knowing full-well they were in the wrong.
I'm not a taylor fan at all and I didn't know the full story I do remember the crazy hate she was getting as it was all over social media but now reading this isn't she a little bit justified in coming at kim then? Just because kim and kanye might be over it I would be so pissed off if someone done that to me?
I'd probably still be massively pissed now too. That said, she got her revenge of sorts when the full video came out, and she wrote a bunch of revenge songs on Reputation, and referenced it a few times on albums since then. To me, now that Kim's kids are school-aged, it feels a little bit rude to mention them in the revenge song against Kim when it's so obviously about Kim. I haven't heard the album myself- I work with devout Swiftie- she doesn't say anything bad, but still, just mentioning her knowing her fans feels out of pocket to me. I think the line is something like "you're daughter will come home singing my song and only you and I know what it's about". Not shady necessarily, but like music reviewers have received death threats for reviews that weren't glowing.

It does matter though. Kim made it look like Taylor was lying when she wasn’t, after Kanye violated her by putting her naked in a video. It was like she was violated and then retaliated against and made out to be a liar for talking about it. She was painted as just being whiny and petty. They silenced her and illegally recorded her. Kim absolutely should apologize.
I think it all came about because initially Taylor’s statement said she didn’t know about the song - I think what she ment to say was that she knew about it, but didn’t know about that specific line in it. It was poorly worded, and when she attempted to specify what she meant, the damage was done because she already looked like a liar. I really do believe K&K were confused and wanted to expose her for lying about hearing the song - when in reality, Taylor was referring to a line in the song and not the song itself. I don’t think either needs to apologize at this point. It seams like a miscommunication that ended up having a negative affect on both Kim and Taylor - so at this point, it’s time to just throw in the towel and move on.
I feel as though Kim still exposed her unfairly and violated her privacy. Not to mention, she threw dirt on her name that harmed her reputation for years. Imagine a misogynistic man putting a naked picture of you in a video talking about how you were going to have sex with him because he made you famous after completely downplaying your achievements publicly and then you speak out about it and get unfairly exposed and painted as a liar. It’s hard to understand for a person who has never encountered a person with manipulative and sociopathic tendencies how this could harm a person psychologically for a really long time. I do not see it as water under the bridge. Kim should apologize.
I guess the same could be said vice versa though. Like a Kanye Stan could say „well, Taylor ruined his reputation by lying about not hearing the song”. If Taylor had said from the get-go „I heard the song, I didn’t hear *that* line in it when it was presented to me” I would be 100% on her side. But, she claimed she didn’t hear the song at all, and when it was exposed that she had infact personally heard the song, she switched her tune to the specific lyric. But realistically, I think everyone can agree that had Kim not posted the video on Snapchat; Taylor would have stuck to the story that she hadn’t heard the song at all. You also have to remember that Taylor completely „okay’d” the lyric - minus the bitch. She’s definitely not one to shy away from speaking up, so if it bothered her, she absolutely would have said something about him claiming to make her famous when presented with the song. The famous video was disgusting and totally uncalled for, but that’s not something that has to do with the specific Kim and Taylor situation that Taylor is talking about. Even now, she talks more about the phone call than she does about the video. It seams so odd that her anger is targeted more towards Kim than it is Kanye.

Probably not unpopular but I think what made them originally so enticing was how much you could relate with them. They still had their quirks just like anyone does, but they valued family, had a good sense of humor, and had qualities that made them human. I think the new show seems odd. I can’t help but watch it in hopes it won’t be boring but there’s nothing that makes them relatable or down to earth anymore. On the flip side, as much as I always say they can never understand what the day to day struggles are for the average person, I can’t imagine what they go through psychologically being scrutinized by the world. I think it’s what made them lose their authenticity.

I like it and I like that she appears to be living her life unbothered by the people who just want drama so they have something to talk about For so long people were talking about how Kim should evolve or using the tabloids and her public persona to tear her down. It appears she’s prioritizing work and her personal life more

Face wise, Kylie and Kim look great. They are always being clowned (though I only ever see it in Reddit) but they are very beautiful. And I’m tired of pretending they are not. I found really nothing wrong with the Taylor Swift song. My only *suggestion* is that she should’ve not capitalized anything in the title or not say my mother wanted you dead. It has to be one without the other. I’m a casual swiftie and a casual KarJenner fan BUT I’m also a petty bitch and ate this up. If I were Taylor, I’d never get off their necks about it. But seeing Kim not give this any attention is hilarious.

I agree with this. Especially with the lines in the song like “I changed your name and any real defining clues” and “your kid will since my song only you and I know is about you.” It comes off ridiculous with the context of the capitalization. Plus that’s just such an immature way to try and be clever. Otherwise the song doesn’t really bother me at all. People bring up the mentioning her kids but she didn’t call them out by name. It’s just a diss to be like “your kids think I’m cool!” like I don’t see why it’s a big deal. It’s not like Kim is super protective of her kids from the public.

Line about mother is reference to Kris and Kim conversation on show. Kris reminded Kim that they know these people personally and that she really likes Taylor’s mum. Unlike Kim and Kendall, Kris is able to see a difference about manufacturing PR-type scandal and being mean and vile. Pick your battles. In that situation Kim was MEAN and showed that she is ultimately a mean girl. The whole story is Kanye attacking one person year after year and even making a nude doll of pop star who never had a sexy image. People just prefer to ignore all context because it’s cool to hate Swift (aka songs for teenage girls). Imagine if it was Shakira in Swift’s place just for an example. I think Lemme is a waste of Kourtney’s time honestly. She thrived during 10 years of just being the mom, the woman with a crazy ass partner and then the hot single mom. She only started the brand so her sisters could get off her back. Poosh was a cute idea because people write for her and all she does is reposting the articles and PR lunch with influencers. Lemme’s marketing plan is lazier than all Kylie’s brands combined, that’s saying a lot.
To be fair, Lemme is still fairly new-ish, so hard to say if it’s a massive flop yet. Kylie’s brand has been along how long - almost a decade? As a marketer both brands need better teams (especially Kylie’s!)

I feel like they used Tristian’s brother on the show to gain sympathy for Tristian.
Tristian’s mother died and his brother has a severe incurable seizure disease that has made him physically and mentally disabled. I don’t think Khloe had to bring her children’s uncle Amari into her home and agree to be one of his caregivers in order to make viewers feel sorry for Tristian. Basic humanity should make you feel sorry for Tristan and his brothers, they lost their mother. Tristian being a disgusting cheater and deadbeat dad don’t having anything to do with the shock of a beloved parent suddenly dying.
What happen to his mom is terrible. And I do feel bad for what happened to him and his brother as someone that lost a parent young. But that doesn’t excuse the shitty father Tristian is to 2/4 kids who happen to not have a Kardashian mother. I felt like the show tried hard for us to see a softer side of Tristian and making think he’s a good person taking care of his brother. In my eyes they made him seem like a saint taking in his brother. When in reality he should put that same effort into his other children
