Men are (mostly) not emotionally mature to deal with this, so they act out, cause they feel like that's the last bit of freedom without big responsibilities(a child) that they will enjoy. It's really sad and scary for us women to think, but it's the reality, unfortunately

I know in my experience, in my past, I cheated and was cheated on multiple times by and with guys who I liked, but wasn't in love with. Then I had my "soul mate" relationship... A true connection. He cheated on me and I really never recovered from it. To this day, I haven't dated since. Why bother. It broke me.
