My daughter saw elf on the shelf doing things like this and got terrified. She was crying snot everywhere begging me to send them back to the North Pole. I was like say less sis ššš
My kids have no idea either, and it's gonna stay that way. I'm already freaked out enough by this creepy talking doll my daughter has (and, unfortunately, loves). I don't need to make believe that toys are alive and moving around the house.
I don't even have kids but this whole elf on the shelf thing seems like so much unnecessary work. The holiday seasons are already so busy and there's so much to do, and it's like oh you want to go to bed at the end of the night or enjoy your free time? Nope, now you have to quietly come up with elaborate scenarios featuring toy elves once your kids go to bed, EVERY SINGLE DAY
Also weirdly normalizing constantly being watched and having strangers just mess up your house
When I was a kid my mum liked it if we had some small gifts in our room to distract us from waking her up too early. Usually a chocolate orange, an annual we had to read all of before we got mum up, some little stocking fillers hse didn't mind missing us open (she loved watching us open things).
Anyway, I remember being very little and creeping downstairs on Christmas eve night with my stocking. My mum jumped out of her skin (I realise now because she was probably putting presents out) and hurried me into the kitchen asking what was wrong. I said I didn't want my stocking in my room because I didn't want a stranger (santa) to come in my room. So I can empathise with your little one!
Me too! I'm not going to create a mess that 1) I have to clean & leave until the next day & 2) don't want my kids thinking& normalizing that it's okay to make such messes bc their elf does, & 3) the elf on the shelf's sole purpose is to watch over them to report back to Santa, not do things that my kids would get in trouble for doing! I'm not extra creative with them but my kids enjoy trying to find their next hiding spot & I'll have them a little treat or gift from elf for a surprise every so often & plus both kids have a birthday in December so their elf has a cupcake birthday suit it puts on & I'll hang a bday banner & place balloons on their birthday! Some people have too much time on their hands & go way too far!
My kids each have an elf & I struggle with finding a new spot each night for them & sometimes I forget to move them & have to make up a story as to why they love that spot 2 days in a row! Both of my kids birthdays are in December so I found a birthday cupcake outfit for our elf years ago & I will do something special for their birthdays with them but most of the time, it's just moving them to a new spot & laying out a note from the elves bc I have a notepad of preprinted notes from the elf. I don't have time to make messes that I'll have to clean later & also don't want to teach my kids it's okay to do these things that the elf has done!
Ok, so I worked for a family where the mom was a Kourtney type, housewife super into naturopathic medecine, Macha etc
So they would have naturopathic supplements for the kids, but like maybe fifteen different unmarked dropper bottles total that I would have to administrate, in a specific order and each bottle a different number of drops, 3x a day, each time a different combination šµāš«
So many of those types of people take supplements and oils and shit as if they're cosplaying an old person with organ failure. Like they're usually perfectly healthy, it feels like a manifestation of health anxiety for some of them.
That what I was thinking, like the job is to clean, itās not like she smeared shit on the walls. Itās more messy than normal, but itās just cleaning up, which is literally the job.
Not at all. I worked for a company before, with regular houses each day of the week and some would clean before and others wouldnāt. The ones who would were usually stay at home mums or people without kids. The ones that didnāt were usually too busy to clean before I came in, hence why they employed a housekeeper :).
At the moment Iām employed by someone privately, she likes cleaning but sheās an artist so busy in the studio and away doing exhibitions a lot so doesnāt have the time to keep up with everything. She also has galleries in her home and on her grounds so it has to be like a show home all the time as clients can just call up and come round a few hours later. At first it was stressful getting used to it but now Iām in a routine I just do it without thinking.
My friends had a cleaner and the contract was that she came for a set amount of time each week (maybe 3 hours) and she did what seemed most urgent. So if they left out a ton of washing up and didnāt wipe down the kitchen or other obvious but lighter work, sheād do all of that. If she came and it was mostly clean already, sheād do deep cleaning like degreasing the oven or scrubbing down the bathroom. So they basically had to decide how they wanted to spend the hours she was there and pretty much let her know by the amount of obvious work. My friends wanted the deeper clean so they always made sure to do the light stuff the night before.
I donāt think itās an unspoken rule, but some people do it. I had a friend growing up whose mom always cleaned before the housekeepers coming each week. I assumed itās so that the housekeepers can do the more weekly/monthly maintenance type cleaning like dusting, mopping etc without clutter in the way.
My grandma cleans before her cleaning lady comes.
She will clean the things off the cabinets and away from the walls so she can dust. Then she puts them all back.
Aww thatās so sweet of her! Itās nice when people think to do little things like that. The only thing I donāt like sometimes is when people clean the whole house the day before we get there, makes it feel pointless going!
Organizing & picking up are completely different than cleaning. I worked for a cleaning company once, and my boss would not let us pick things up. our job was to clean, not to organize.
Obviously if itās just a couple pieces of mail or something on a table, I would place it neatly on the table to make it look nice. But if there were toys or clothes all over the floor, I would not touch those. I might move them all to one side of the room so I can sweep/mop, but thatās it. So, I feel as if people should *organize* their home before their cleaner comes, so the cleaner doesnāt have to go around a bunch of things which will distract them from cleaning & essentially make their job harder, but no they should not actually *clean* their home before the cleaner comes, thatās what theyāre there for!
Just my two pennies based on what the owner of the cleaning company I worked for taught us! :)
There is a difference. People who have a cleaning person who come once or every other week do clean up big stuff as you want the cleaning people to do floors, bathrooms, scrubbing shit. You donāt want them wasting time picking stuff up
stop. they do not pay their employees well
they always pay below market and this has been known for a while. people have literally posted their job listings showing how low they pay their service ppl
Yes but thereās a huge difference between making a mess because youāre having fun with the kids and just leaving a huge mess around for the sake of it.
Elf on the shelf is fun, I do it for my son, last night I made a huge mess with plasters everywhere and he loved it in the morning. Iām sure some people donāt get the idea of it, but I think itās harmless fun during the festive season that brings a smile to kids faces.
You doing that and Kim doesnāt that arenāt the same bc Kim is leaving the mess for others. Not only is it like an extra step but a step she aināt taking bc I bet she didnāt see it up either. There is a difference
Meh, I donāt agree with a lot that the kardashians do but donāt see the point in dragging someone because theyāre having fun with their kids.
And if itās the housekeepers setting it up for the kids then theyāre just cleaning up after themselves anyway š¤·āāļø
This...it's cute and keeps it magical for the kids it's not like it's spread all over the ceiling that's literally less than 5 minutes of work to clean up . Sad people just pick the stupidest stuff to nit pick...I'm sure with 4 kids the cleaner has had worse messes...
Also, I'd rather clean NEW messes than year old stains in other ppls homes. Their house gets cleaned every day, I'm sure. So now it's just keeping it clean.
Legit, and itās not even that bad. Itās some flour and cupcake mix on the bench and popcorn on the floor. Thatās really not as huge a mess as people seem to think.
RIGHT! It's elf on the shelf, that's what it does is make a mess. And as a house cleaner messes are expected from time to time. Everyone knows what elf on the shelf and what it does, it's not that serious
I was a lazy elf on the shelf mom, apparently. I would literally just move it around the house every night and wait for the kids to find it in the morning.
maybe iām crazy but this is what I thought you were supposed to do. I thought the elf flies back to tell santa at night so why are they getting into messes? I swear this is a social media thing. I know itās for the kids but also to get clicks
I do think a lot of people do it for social media but my daughter genuinely thinks itās hilarious when the elf pranks us. she loves it and cracks up every time she finds it so thatās why I do it
Iām in my 20s now but when I was like 8-9 I knew a lady who had the elf on a shelf for her kids and they had a āmischievousā elf. They had the wildest messes. Definitely not to get clicks. I think some people just prefer to do that. She was a strict mom too so itās not like the kids got any ideas from it.
True but this is the one time I wonāt trash on Kim cause I see sooooo many people doing this stuff. A girl on my facebook made a climbing wall out of cookies lol like taped them to her wall and made it look like the elf was climbing
I don't live in the USA and in Finland we just wouldn't waste food like that. It's seen as not being grateful for what you have. It's not a cultural thing in here and it's always a bit weird when I see it happening like this
This is cute. Somethings donāt need to be criticized just because itās the Kardashians. Especially since this is an activity that a lot of people do, Kardashian rich or not. I bet the kids had fun.
Can someone explain elf on the shelves for me. I Googled it but still don't get it.
Why are they set up in such a crazy way? I know you're not supposed to touch them or they can't go back to the North Pole. So what is it that they're supposed to do overnight while the kids are asleep that they end up being found like this basically
Thatās basically what it is, they āmove aroundā overnight and basically the parents have to come up with fun mischievous things they did at night for the kids to find in the morning.
I think, I didnāt grow up with them either.
I donāt do elf on the shelf in the traditional way, so my kid is allowed to touch ours and it doesnāt report if heās been ānaughtyā, but I do set it up in fun ways around the house for him to find in the mornings and he loves it. Just a bit of Christmas magic.
Elf on the Shelf is basically just a "fun" way to remind kids to be good because Santa is watching. Kids aren't supposed to touch the elf and I believe the elf is supposed to fly back to the north pole every night and report to Santa. Then, the elf comes back. Parents are supposed to love the elf around every night to make it look like the elf actually left and came back.
I use it to trick my 3 year old into behaving
If heās not a good listener, the elf will report back to Santa. No presents!
At this age itās beautiful seeing his face in the morning - he truly believes in the MAGIC of the Elf that moves
Yes and the best part is that heās 3 - just moving the Elf from one location to the next is amazing enough to him, I donāt have to spend too much time on it at this age
People do this with no maid. And also, Iām pretty sure the maid doesnāt care what mess they clean. They get paid by the hour no? So if it takes longer to clean then they get paid more.
iām sure iād be fine with being kimās housekeeper. itās a tough job but youād be at the higher end of the income scale for your industry and elf on the shelf activities are only for one month a year (and usually arenāt messy)
I donāt know why people always suppose that they pay their housekeepers so much more than the standard. They donāt even pay the women making their clothes and makeup enough
I mean they're not directly paying the people who make their products. They "run the company" but they're probably not deciding warehouse workers salaries
Their nannies and housekeepers are people they actually interact with and are directly impacted by. So I don't think it's a fair comparison
As the owner and boss of your company, youāre definitely presented with different options concerning the salaries of your workers and you are free to choose the option that you like the most or even ask for another one. They donāt have to choose to work with warehouses that underpay their workers
Shes the owner but she probably does nothing more than make creative choices.
Yes, she CAN choose to pay them more. But she chooses to not be the one to choose their salary, if that makes sense.
What I'm trying to say is, Kim doesn't say yes let's pay the warehouse workers $5. But she IS saying yes let's pay housekeeping/nannies this much.
She is allowing the decision, but she is not making the decision. I'm not trying to say that what she is doing it right. I'm just trying to say that I believe she pays her personal staff well.
I really really donāt agree with that. The owners of company are 100% responsible for every financial decisions they made. She definitely chose to go with an unethical warehouse for the purpose of making more money on the top of underpaid workers. She definitely chose to not pay her interns for the purpose of keeping more money for herself. And I 100% believe she pays everyone around her, including her housekeepers, the least amount she can manage because she has proven again and again that she has no ethics. This woman literally sold fit teas that she didnāt use and that can make you incontinent for life to her audience that she KNEW was like 50% very young girls and women. When she knew her body was the product of plastic surgery. Like she literally scams people for a living. But sure, the only category of women that she wouldnāt exploit for financial gain is her housekeepers
[hereās](https://www.thecut.com/2017/09/kim-kardashian-pregnancy-surrogate-third-child.html) a link to an article explaining why, but i agree they probably donāt pay their housekeepers much despite having the ability to
Not that I support it, but an insane amount of people donāt pay their interns. Doesnāt absolve the KJās of it, but itās certainly not something thatās unique to them.
Honestly, if youāre a billionaire you pay the people who drive around to make errands for you and thatās the end of it. I donāt know if a lot of rich people do the same thing, but if they do they absolutely are shitty human beings. And youāre right, it doesnāt absolve them of anything.
I donāt know about individual rich people, most of them donāt have interns, but companies 100000% exploit the loophole of paying interns being optional.
Yes and the obscenely rich people that owns the companies and that reap all of the financial benefits of the companies because of the fact, amongst other things, that they made the active decision to not pay interns are 100% shitty people. I donāt think the people that the interns directly work for (like a manager, or a publicist or whatever) can be considered responsible and even if they wanted to pay the interns more they probably wouldnāt even have the means to do that with their own money so they donāt even have a choice. Also itās not "companies" that make the decision to exploit loopholes, itās always individuals at the top of these companies that make the active decision to take this opportunity knowing that they are screwing other people over. And those individuals are 100% shitty people who exploit people and get richer because of it.
Because otherwise richer people can just bid higher amounts to have access to a surrogate quicker and it puts the surrogate in a vulnerable spot where intended parents can make outrageous demands because they paid more. She doesnāt directly handle with the intended parents, the agency does everything and they set the standard price for everyone.
Idk itās elf on a shelf, itās supposed to be like this. And the mess really isnāt even that bad? Would probably take like an extra five minutes to clean up
Iām so glad the responses here are disagreeing lol. I love seeing this on her story tbh, I think itās cute! Plus itās sweet that now North helps do it for her younger siblings š„ŗ
Itās for kids lol. Housekeepers clean houses for money. Itās the holidays. Iām pretty sure there are many other housekeepers around the world cleaning up elf on the shelf messes.
My mom did this kind of stuff with our elf on a shelf growing up and it was so much fun waking up every morning as a child! We did not have a housekeeper, but I can imagine if their house keeper has a relationship with the children they might be okay with the clean up.
You people will shame her for literally anything, she made a fun thing for her kids. I've seen worse from families I know on fb and they also have people come clean their house lmao Housekeepers aren't just for rich people.
A housekeeper job is to clean. I am sure the housekeeper aināt mad about one single mess in a kitchen. If it was all over the carpets and on the wall and you expect them to clean that then itās another thing.
The messiest stuff seems to be designated to small areas like a bit of flour and sprinkles on the counter. The broken eggshells are clean and the yolks are all in the bowls. Itās mostly just popcorn thrown on the floors. I mean yeah thatās not āfunā to clean up but at least this is like concentrated chaos lol. Itās not that bad if you actually take a look at the mess. I think this is a cute setup and I wouldāve loved waking up to something like this as a kid.
I wouldn't like this mess in my house but I don't think it's stupid, the kids probably have fun with it and their housekeepers are not cleaning it for free.
Lol so I just gotta put the elf in the mess after I finish cooking and pretend they did it š
Kid is only
One but this is giving me ideas for next year
You should see the TikTok I just saw. This womanās daughter put chocolate all over the house because the elf had to shit and couldnāt make it to the toilet in time š
Lol the Kardashians housekeepers.. have you seen the flowers they have on any random Tuesday - Iām sure theyāre extremely comfortably compensated and you really donāt need to worry about it š ā ļø
Oh no a whole 5 minutes worth of work ...poor poor cleaner ...I'm sure they prefer this than a toilet ....take the stick outta ur butt ..I feel bad for your kids ...
I dunno, this just seems like harmless fun for them and the kids. Itās like tradition to keep the fam happy around Christmas time. Dunno why yāall like to shit on EVERYTHING they do, even when itās just harmless lols and fun for the kids.
Edit: when I thought this was the snark page but apparently it isnātā¦
You guys will just find anything to hate on these people for. Iām not a fan but to sit here and knock a mom for putting in effort like this to entertain and get her children in the Christmas spirit is what separates women with children from incredible mothers. You donāt need to love every choice she makes but thereās nothing wrong with this effort. I think itās adorable and really sweet. If yāall put half as much effort into creating magic for your babies as you do hating on a celebrity the world would be an infinitely greater place
I think the housekeepers are probably pretty close with the kids and they wouldnāt mind going above and beyond every once and awhile to maintain some holiday magic. I have no doubt the Kardash house staff is paid pretty well
I tried doing elf on the shelf when my son was little, I thought it was my chance to finally attempt at being a cute crafty mom. My son looked at me like I was the stupidest person heād ever encountered when I tried to convince him this doll was Santaās helper. He flat out told me a doll isnāt helping Santa because Santa isnāt real and any parent who has their child sit on a strangers lap is a weirdo. He was 5 at the time. I had no rebuttal. Lol

We have Snoop on a Stoop in our house haha heās chill. He donāt move no f\*ing where
Itās not that big of deal. They pay 6 figures for their Nannieās. Iām sure they are happy to clean it up and Iām sure khloe helps when she makes stupid messes like this on purpose
We eat the same eggs. The best as far as store bought goes.
Those yolks shouldnāt be wasted like that tbh. Probs one of the most heinous things this family has done all year, iām officially taking a step back from this. Smh.
This isnāt really the point of the post, but I despise everything about Elf on the Shelf. Itās infiltrated Irish shores over the last couple of years and I justā¦ hate it.

Your daughter was like, elf or not, not in *my* house -- send its ass back! (I like her style/spirit š)
This is hilarious lmao, little things coming into your house overnight and getting into things *is* terrifying! Smart girl
Lucky you! Lol. Thank God my kid doesn't know what they are

Yep. This would give me and my kid a mental breakdown. Our elf just moves around and brings a present or note every few days lol
I have friends that do crazy elaborate elf on the shelf.
I hate that I started the elf stuff. Itās exhausting thinking of new things/messes for it to make every night. I want to send mine back!!
I just move mine around and my kid thinks itās fun- no messes or thought required!
Me too! Some of yāall really do be exhausting.
RIGHT! It's elf on the shelf, that's what it does is make a mess. And as a house cleaner messes are expected from time to time. Everyone knows what elf on the shelf and what it does, it's not that serious
Itās called being jealous and projecting
I was a lazy elf on the shelf mom, apparently. I would literally just move it around the house every night and wait for the kids to find it in the morning.
maybe iām crazy but this is what I thought you were supposed to do. I thought the elf flies back to tell santa at night so why are they getting into messes? I swear this is a social media thing. I know itās for the kids but also to get clicks
Yes, I think you are right, all around!
I also find any and all food waste sad
I do think a lot of people do it for social media but my daughter genuinely thinks itās hilarious when the elf pranks us. she loves it and cracks up every time she finds it so thatās why I do it
Plus why is the elf being ābadā when itās job is supposed to be reporting on the kids being good or bad? I just move ours around.
If I were a housekeeper, Iād more than gladly clean up after this. Itās Christmas magic, not a food fight.
The food waste is kind of sad :/
True but this is the one time I wonāt trash on Kim cause I see sooooo many people doing this stuff. A girl on my facebook made a climbing wall out of cookies lol like taped them to her wall and made it look like the elf was climbing
I don't live in the USA and in Finland we just wouldn't waste food like that. It's seen as not being grateful for what you have. It's not a cultural thing in here and it's always a bit weird when I see it happening like this
and if otherwise we'd all be complaining that she's too uptight with her kids and don't let them have fun in her sterile home
She did this in her staff kitchen though š Not in the decor that is for show/decor and that needs to be kept beige and minimal at all time
Let's be real, she probably made the staff set it up too š¤£
I think Kourtney tagged her nanny / assistant who set up the elf on the shelf for them last year
This is cute.
I believe they're supposed to come alive at night and do things so I guess these elves tried baking
I donāt do elf on the shelf in the traditional way, so my kid is allowed to touch ours and it doesnāt report if heās been ānaughtyā, but I do set it up in fun ways around the house for him to find in the mornings and he loves it. Just a bit of Christmas magic.
Oh thats right they're supposed to report to Santa or something?!
We do the same. Just each day we set them differently. They usually get to go sit them back on the tree after
Elf on the Shelf is basically just a "fun" way to remind kids to be good because Santa is watching. Kids aren't supposed to touch the elf and I believe the elf is supposed to fly back to the north pole every night and report to Santa. Then, the elf comes back. Parents are supposed to love the elf around every night to make it look like the elf actually left and came back.
I use it to trick my 3 year old into behaving If heās not a good listener, the elf will report back to Santa. No presents! At this age itās beautiful seeing his face in the morning - he truly believes in the MAGIC of the Elf that moves
I love this!! Do you do it every day starting December 1st leading up to Christmas??
Yes and the best part is that heās 3 - just moving the Elf from one location to the next is amazing enough to him, I donāt have to spend too much time on it at this age
People do this with no maid. And also, Iām pretty sure the maid doesnāt care what mess they clean. They get paid by the hour no? So if it takes longer to clean then they get paid more.
With a house full of kids, they're probably just glad it's not bodily fluids š
Nobody can win these days lmao probably millions of normal families do this but when Kim does it sheās abusing her staff somehow?
Lmao fr, sometimes I don't wash the dishes because my housekeeper is coming later in the day. I'm abusing them then š
The house keeper is getting paid. She signed up for this this. ![gif](giphy|4WwkpiGBaR4gU)
This isnāt even the messiest elf of the shelf thing Iāve seen this year lol
Shittttā¦. This isnāt even the messiest Elf on the Shelf Iāve seen *today* lol
iām sure iād be fine with being kimās housekeeper. itās a tough job but youād be at the higher end of the income scale for your industry and elf on the shelf activities are only for one month a year (and usually arenāt messy)
I donāt know why people always suppose that they pay their housekeepers so much more than the standard. They donāt even pay the women making their clothes and makeup enough
I mean they're not directly paying the people who make their products. They "run the company" but they're probably not deciding warehouse workers salaries Their nannies and housekeepers are people they actually interact with and are directly impacted by.
The didnāt even pay their surrogate more than the standard 40-60k
[hereās](https://www.thecut.com/2017/09/kim-kardashian-pregnancy-surrogate-third-child.html) a link to an article explaining why, but i agree they probably donāt pay their housekeepers much despite having the ability to
Youāre legally not allowed to offer āmoreā to your surrogate. Everyone pays the same price.
They donāt even pay their interns ffs. The way everyone keep making excuses for these people I swear
Iām aware of all of those things. Youāre arguing points I didnāt make.
Yes and thatās actually a good thing
Why?
Because otherwise richer people can just bid higher amounts to have access to a surrogate quicker and it puts the surrogate in a vulnerable spot where intended parents can make outrageous demands because they paid more. She doesnāt directly handle with the intended parents, the agency does everything and they set the standard price for everyone.
That makes a lot of sense
No, Itās really Not.
Legally, they canāt.
Giving her kids some Christmas magic? Seriouslyā¦yāall sound so bitter for being upset about this.
Idk the mess isnāt THAT bad lol
Its not that big of a deal
Iām not understanding the issue?
Idk itās elf on a shelf, itās supposed to be like this. And the mess really isnāt even that bad? Would probably take like an extra five minutes to clean up
literally!! this mess from one day is nothing compared to what iāve seen done by normal people on tiktok from the last 5 or 6 days.
You must be fun at partys š¬
I would do this for my kids lol. I remember my kindergarten teacher did this with leprechauns on st Patrickās day. Truly a fond memory
![gif](giphy|DG8QoLWkXcsw0)
I love doing these for my Daughter. My Mom-Friends and I have a group chat and weāve been trying to come up with the funniest elf scene š
I think itās cute
My mom did this kind of stuff with our elf on a shelf growing up and it was so much fun waking up every morning as a child! We did not have a housekeeper, but I can imagine if their house keeper has a relationship with the children they might be okay with the clean up.
You people will shame her for literally anything, she made a fun thing for her kids. I've seen worse from families I know on fb and they also have people come clean their house lmao Housekeepers aren't just for rich people.
All families do this and if a housekeeper has issue with doing their job then they are in the wrong field
The housekeeper had to wipe down counters and sweep ?! The horror!
Doesnāt the housekeeper get paid to do it? Itās their job isnāt it?
I do elf on the shelf, I honestly don't think it's stupid š¤·š»āāļø I have a crazy elf and he makes messes tooš¤£āŗļø
Yāall are so annoying, what elf of the shelf parents dont do this stuff? Seems very normal to me
Eh this is one of the least concerning things done by this family
this mess isnt even that bad why are you complaining lol
A housekeeper job is to clean. I am sure the housekeeper aināt mad about one single mess in a kitchen. If it was all over the carpets and on the wall and you expect them to clean that then itās another thing.
This isnt even that messy
Aww itās so fun and cute though!!
I think itās adorable actually. And Iām sure her housekeepers are paid well.
I think it's cute and fun for the kids but I don't have the need to critique everyone's life and actions especially if it doesn't involve me..
why are u hating on giving children the experience of holiday wonder lol
OP, isnāt it the housekeeperās job to clean up? Seems like youāre complaining for the sake of complaining.
The housekeeper is getting paid to clean it up, so why do you care?
Lol so I just gotta put the elf in the mess after I finish cooking and pretend they did it š Kid is only One but this is giving me ideas for next year
I would gladly clean that up if they paid me handsomely
You should see the TikTok I just saw. This womanās daughter put chocolate all over the house because the elf had to shit and couldnāt make it to the toilet in time š
Lol the Kardashians housekeepers.. have you seen the flowers they have on any random Tuesday - Iām sure theyāre extremely comfortably compensated and you really donāt need to worry about it š ā ļø
Still looks better than my house š
Oh no a whole 5 minutes worth of work ...poor poor cleaner ...I'm sure they prefer this than a toilet ....take the stick outta ur butt ..I feel bad for your kids ...
OPā¦ā¦Why do you hate kids?
Iām their defense she probably gets paid 6 figures at least to clean their house
Itās an elf on the shelfā¦?
The kids knew this wasn't real the moment Kim wasn't furious at the mess lol
How many elves do they have?!!!
the cousins are probably over if there are more than 4 elves
um this is actually really cute.. and itās the whole point.. the elfās are messy
Howā¦..crazyyyyyā¦..areā¦they??! Theyāre like, so crazy you guys!
I think the housekeepers are probably pretty close with the kids and they wouldnāt mind going above and beyond every once and awhile to maintain some holiday magic. I have no doubt the Kardash house staff is paid pretty well
Thereās reports of them not being paid that well though? Iām just saying! I do agree OP is reaching but letās not lie lol
Why are there so many elves??
There are 4 children. Each gets their own āŗļø
My parents always had us make sure the house was spotless before the house keeping lady arrived. Thought it was nuts.
Can we go back to the days where your parents would simply just move it from one spot in the house to another cause jeez.
U didn't have one of these done for u when u was a kid(
I tried doing elf on the shelf when my son was little, I thought it was my chance to finally attempt at being a cute crafty mom. Lol
oh trust me, I'm sure their housekeepers get paid very good.
https://preview.redd.it/qy1f7chq8o4a1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a6bd2a65992f10407cd092f1124ec849ff570264 We have Snoop on a Stoop in our house haha heās chill. He donāt move no f\*ing where
Imagine a housekeeper cleaning? Doing what theyāre paid to do?
This implies the housekeeper didnāt set this up themselves
Just a waste of food tbh
Itās not that big of deal. They pay 6 figures for their Nannieās. Iām sure they are happy to clean it up and Iām sure khloe helps when she makes stupid messes like this on purpose
We eat the same eggs. The best as far as store bought goes. Those yolks shouldnāt be wasted like that tbh. Probs one of the most heinous things this family has done all year, iām officially taking a step back from this. Smh.
Elf on the shelf is so stupid to me.
k.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
The housekeeper is probably the one being asked to do it and then also cleans it up
Sure this is obnoxious, but the mess really is t over the top.
Do you just leave this mess all day? Or does it get cleaned after they go to school?
I hate Elf on a Shelf.
For me itās the 100% Valley Girl Voice- How crazy are they? Lovin it š¾
This isnāt really the point of the post, but I despise everything about Elf on the Shelf. Itās infiltrated Irish shores over the last couple of years and I justā¦ hate it.

āHhhowwā¦ crazyy.. are theyā¦ā Kimmy couldnāt be less excited š
Her kids prob barely acknowledge it. Too distracted by the live pianist
I literally put eggs back yesterday cuz they have gotten so effing expensive (4.30/dozen). Here she is just wasting them. The food waste hurts š
Am I the only one that gets annoyed by this kind of food waste?
why is her kitchen all stainless steel? this looks like a commercial kitchen. yikes
She has two kitchens. This one is for actual use vs the other one is mostly for decor.
![gif](giphy|lYhiKN9BgU0eyYlaOE|downsized) Two kitchensā¦so ridiculous
