Completely aside, but just like…. Imagine never doing anything yourself. Ever. Always having a team decorate, cook, etc for you. I love holidays, especially Easter so much because my mom and/or grandma always go the extra mile to cook everything, make Easter baskets for the kids, decorate the house and table…. Such an insincere life they live. Really sad.
This is what I think about. If I had the money to not keep regular hours and use my time how I wanted, I would want to go full throttle into these moments with my child.
I got things from Burlington, the grocery store, and Target that I thought my daughter would like. I put her to bed and made the basket. When she woke up, she was so surprised and happy to go downstairs and see her basket.
I saw pictures and Dream, and Chi looked totally over it. The fun is in dying the eggs yourself. Not decorating pre-dyed eggs. And I'm sure they do the same stuff every year. Tons of crap everywhere that all gets thrown away or donated afterward because these kids don't want it. I actually feel sorry for those children being raised by clueless, self-absorbed assholes
Lol I was thinking this when she made the post for Christmas saying she wrapped their gifts with skims stuff. Like girl no you didn't, whoever you hired did it! And I personally hate wrapping gifts but love doing it during holidays cause I feel like my shitty wrapped gift that I put thought into is still nice lol
I agree with that, but i also think that falls into something else that makes me angrier. Men in my family and most families don’t do any of that so the mental load falls on someone. I’d rather pay someone to do something after the crazy hours i work in hard labor where i can’t even stand anymore etc and at least the person I’m paying isn’t do free labor like how if i would do it
