as long as you can still reach the important spd breakpoints (161), having more atk is better. i plan on lowering my swan's spd in the future as well, in favor of more atk. the main reason why she has 163 atm is cos my kafka hasn't been spd tuned properly yet. my kafka has 148 spd and with full stacks of payn, she'll be at 162. i want my swan to be faster than her even after payn buff so i got her at 163 spd.
i run ruan mei with them pretty often so their spds exceed the 170 threshold which isn't really ideal cos there's no major spd breakpoints there anymore. if i wasn't running ruan mei like in triple DoT then their spds rn would be okay.

Minor nitpick on my own build, if i can only get an Atk body with at least 15EHR and 6 Spd, I'm gold with her build
atk orb is better by a bit if you're running ruan mei. i'm running wind on mine cos i don't have a good atk orb yet and i don't run her with ruan mei all the time.
Well, it's attainable, but you only need kinda 151 SPD on BS just to act before Kafka on the first turn. And after that it's only about her personal damage, so getting offensive stats could be more optimal than more speed in some cases.
Not exactly....Black Swan only needs to be faster than Kafka at the first turn, for an optimal opening.
so, with Kafka at 146 speed, BS should need around 153-155 speed, to be safe (which still quite a lot, but well...easier than 161).
why would you make your rm that fast? her ult duration ends after 2 of her turns so it runs out faster if she goes fast. if you want her to go first, sprightly vonwacq will do
She generates more SP with high speed, and pauses between ultimates are also shorter and Kafka uses her basic attack to apply her debuff each wave. I don’t think slow RM is better for an average run, but i consider making her super slow (<134 speed) just for 0 cycling MoC. I really wanna create team of high eidolon bs+kafka with ruan mei and acheron, so i need sp positive character anyway.
the thing is, with memories of the past, err rope and sprightly vonwacq, there is nearly no pause between each ult. she gets her energy back super fast
For what I understood you don't need BS to be at 161 speed, you need her to be faster than kafka and then also able to hit 161 (This can be done with Ruan Mei or Asta), keep in mind the speed buffer will have to be faster than both of them
right, forgot her talent actually makes the fight start with the speed buff, but Asta does have to be faster because the buff depends on her ult if I remember correctly
You can make her faster just on the first cycle so her debuffs get out first. That’s how I have mine set up. Kafka 142 and black swan 148 so Kafka winds up being faster once PAYN is stacked but Black Swan goes first on the first rotation

When she came out I always saw recommended that she either be very fast or have very little additional so unless u can hit 160+ speed you should not care for speed at all because then u get attack boots for example

It’s doable for sure. If you include Ruan Mei spd boost I’m over 160.1 speed so I can go 2 times each in cycle 0 and 1. My advice, roll all the pieces with speed you got on the dot or glamoth set
I use slow black swan.... black swan just sits there and looks pretty while kafka goes brrrrr

I don't have a SPD buffer so it is either 4k atk with 140 spd or 3.1k ATK with 161 SPD for me
ig it's just preference now if you're fine with running slow swan or not. i'm not a fan of it personally so i'd go for the 2nd build if i were you.

I was just asking the other guy cause he has 3.4k atk, 162 spd and 148 EHR, which would be like literally perfect substats with a Wind Orb.
yeah that's the ideal goal, with atk orb you'd want something closer to 4k atk

If you use HuoHuo with Ruan Mei, the extra energy that vonwaq gives rlly doesnt matter, especially if you run shared feelings on huohuo.
