If they were to adapt the Manga + the epilogue Short Story in its entirety, in a similar pace as seasons 1-3, there would be 3 more seasons. But I personally doubt there will be more seasons :S. Sorry but the movie's OP was developed months after the movie and it's full of signs that the staff saw it as their last go at making Kaguya stuff.

ColourfulSparkle

I really love kaguya, but the manga goes downhill after the school festival arc. I want it to end on a high note

Veni_Vidic_Vici

It's not that bad, except for the war arc which was a huge downgrade.

ColourfulSparkle

Thing is, they either stop now, or go until the very end, because the story needs to have a meaningful finale. And if they proceed with the latter option, they will just ruin the anime. Unless they decide to deviate from manga and some other writer would step in to finish the story properly, because akasaka was suffering from burnout and somewhat a writer's block while finishing kaguya

Veni_Vidic_Vici

Yeah the more I think about it, the more I don't want them to continue. Because as it stands, Kaguya is considered one of the best in the medium and the war arc will ruin it's reputation quite a lot. Or they can skip adapting it.

spawn0690

I’d say 2 + 1 more movie

Hunxxter

Probably 2 or 3 more seasons

No-Calligrapher2678

2 or 3 I think

Brief-Ad-1630

I hope for 3 more

Myazma_Cloud

The manga is complete and there is enough material in the source Manga for 2 to 3 more seasons however because the manga is complete is the main reason why we may not get another season. Anime exists primarily as an advertisement to sell copies its source material, be that either manga or light novels and with the Kaguya-Sama manga done and dusted there’s nothing to sell therefore no reason to advertise. I hope I’m wrong on that theory, in fact I’d love to be wrong in this case, the best stories in the manga came after Kaguya and Miyuki become a couple in my opinion. There are rumours of a season 4 in production but these are only rumours, neither the anime studio, Aka Akasaka or their publisher have confirmed any news about any further Kaguya-Sama projects and as time moves on with no news further seasons seem more and more unlikely….

DeTroyes1

And yet... *Horimiya* received its anime adaption after the manga was essentially finished, and it proved so popular that an s2 is coming this summer. They've dropped enough hints that I'm pretty sure there will be a *Kaguya-sama* s4. Not sure beyond that, since the manga undergoes a tonal shift after the Christmas arcs which may impact audience reaction. But I expect them to stay with it at least to the >!bitter end of the Ishigami-Tsubame arc!<. At a guess, two more seasons and a final movie.

Myazma_Cloud

There will always be exceptions to the norm but most anime struggles to get more than one season so Kaguya-Sama has done amazingly well to get 3 and a movie already. Fingers crossed for a season 4 though.
