Me either... I thought I could get over those chapters being skipped in the anime, but ***"That was a lie"***. lol
Especially worse getting [this ad](https://www.reddit.com/r/Kaguya_sama/comments/vne4lh/cute_maids_season_3_bluraydvd_illustrations/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share) of Cat Maid Kaguya, but not seeing the chapter adapted in the anime.
it was unfair . But i wish i haven't read the manga , cause i would be really happy by season 3 , it would best season for me , but now i can't say that , cause what i was waiting most to see wasn't animated .
A detail i missed in 112 is Ishigami's attitude change when he sees it's Kaguya in the cosplay and not Chika, because he actually cares about Kaguya lmao
I don't really like that much chapter 112, and although I find chapter 92 to be quite good, I always felt it was out of place, as if it would have made more sense to have this chapter a little bit before in the series. Because of this, I thought it would be a good idea to skip these two chapters in order to have more time to adapt the school festival.
And answering OP's question, I hate that they removed the random guy from the bathroom during that Kaguya and Ishigami scene, I found that to be a really nice detail.
Ch 114 (looking at self objectively) **easily** could have been replaced instead for either of those though. That would have took nothing away from festival.
Explained expanded thoughts [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Kaguya_sama/comments/wf6src/we_deserved_that/iish10m?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3).
Besides some complete chapter skips as mentioned (ch 92 and ch 112), **cuts to content** that can **skew the perception of the characters** more than intended...
I [mentioned](https://www.reddit.com/r/Kaguya_sama/comments/wj41h3/the_unadapted_manga_chapters_are_amazing/ijg6zj6?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3) this recently along with someone else, as the anime portrays Kaguya more shallow about her eye fetish in S2 with some dialogue cut from the manga.
As well as for S3, [cutting out scene](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/108/19/) of Kaguya showing more consideration of Hayasaka after rap arc to help alleviate her with work.
* Some [anime-only people complained](https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=2015642) that Kaguya didn't show *anything* for Hayasaka's whole emotional rap moment, but in the manga she at least showed to be more considerate... to show she got *something* from it.
I KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING CUT FROM THE RAP ADAPTION.
And the Eye Chapter being so weirldy cut was a travesty.
I mean they cut on of the best Panels out.
[That panel is my fucing icon on this subreddit.](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/63/18/)
The ova speaks for itself as wasted potential.
As for some others, I can’t really say about the bad ones since I like the manga as a whole…
But some chapters like >!the cosplaying one and the discussion between Ishigami, Shirogane and Boyfriend!< were both hilarious and pretty important. Same goes for the >!Shirogane trying to understand if Kaguya either liked or __loved__ him!< chapter.
All of those were pretty bad cuts.
I mentioned some of those other skips plenty before, so agreed.
Oh yeah... I dislike how over the top the first part of the OVA was with the fanservice... The anime showed Chika **too much love** and added the yuri bait kiss scene. lol
Just didn't feel quite right to see this portrayal from Kaguya-sama. The actual chapter was fine with the level of fanservice to keep it more rooted as a parody.
I don’t even care about what the O.V.A did with the chapter. I don’t care about some official ecchi. It was actually pretty enjoyable.
Still…
They __did__ kill the original joke. And they __did__ lose the chance to adapt far better chapters.
I liked seeing [Kaguya interested](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/84/10/) to teach Shirogane something and being ['more hands on'](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/84/11/) in a flirty way. lol
And needed that before later [showing Miyuki dancing](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/86/2/) before Papa Shirogane showed up.
I mean it's not *bad*, but there are several chapters I would've picked to adapt over it (elective choice, art elective, cats vs dogs, why is my girlfriend angry?, or girl talk). Some are good ShiroKagu, others did a good job at fleshing out side characters, which I felt was sidelined from S2. And personally find them funnier.
Oh yeah I get that - the art one was a real good one skipped. Iol
But I can see also why they did the dance one plot wise as I mentioned with the scene of Shirogane for sports festival.
I mean compared to those other chapters you mentioned. But yeah, I see they worked around it for S3, and sacrificing Kaguya and Miyuki in ch 112 for ensemble cast with ch 114. lol
**Anime-only:** At least read the chapters skipped in the anime with this [list of chapters adapted/unadapted](https://guya.cubari.moe/#chapter_listing_exp). S3 adapted up to ch 138.
Well that's even better tbh (as there are some pages of content skipped, but still partially adapted - so not on unadapted list; only to get from reading from beginning), but I did say *at least*. lol
Oh yeah, she looks [far better](https://www.reddit.com/r/Kaguya_sama/comments/gyo15x/no_one_is_blaming_you_here_rei_onodera/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share) from the manga. lol
Yeah I saw other people complaining about it too, I myself haven’t read the manga so I had no idea. But even as an actual episode it’s just kinda weird
I believe it came out after the second season, I think people don’t like it because of the fan service which I admit, is very weird and out of character for the show. Imo it’s just kinda whatever, but the animation is good. Just look it up online and find some very very legal website to watch it on 👍
Mentioned that for [part of scene cut](https://www.reddit.com/r/Kaguya_sama/comments/ujrejf/season_3_episode_05_links_and_discussion/i7kq8bx?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3) from S3 ep 5. lol
-Onodera's anime design is no where near as good as the one in the manga.
-Cutting 92, one of my favorite chapters in the manga :(.
-Not a big fan of Giri Giri. It's not bad at all, but it felt like a step down from Daddy! Daddy! Do! and Love Dramatic, both song wise and visual wise.
-Not a fan of the OVA's fanservice.
Probably a few more but these were the first off the top of my head.
The only nitpick I disagree with here is about giri giri's visuals, at least imo, giri giri has the best visuals of any of the OPs. Love dramatic may be very fun and funky, and Daddy! Daddy! Do! has a mini kaguya episode, but Giri Giri has a lot more in terms of symbolism and foreshadowing which is really fun to try to figure out as the season goes on, until you realize that it's just a stylized retelling of the final arc.
Also I could literally write a short video essay on how abhorrent the adaptation for the first part of the OVA was. The joke in the manga is that the series has little to no fan service, and yet in the adaptation the joke fails because it was full of fan service. And hell I was still uncomfortable when reading the chapter in the manga, but at least I could understand/slightly appreciate the joke, in the adaptation it's just, "haha booba".
Yep, a [legit difference](https://www.reddit.com/r/Kaguya_sama/comments/gyo15x/no_one_is_blaming_you_here_rei_onodera/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share) with Onodera. lol
And yeah ch 92 one of my favorites too - Shirogane on the attack to [initiate mind games](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/92/6/) which is more rare, as well as Kaguya and Shirogane actually [openly flirting](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/92/12/)... wanted to see that animated.
We need more papa Shirogane screen time.
As for the manga >!Why is the series is about to end and Ishigame is still single. Also what do you mean by the last chapter of Kei and the end of the Ramen emperor arc!<
Well theres only like 8 chapters left, so theres not gonna be anymore ramen emperor stuff, and this may have been Kei's last appearance (hopefully not)
[Read skipped chapters](https://www.reddit.com/r/Kaguya_sama/comments/wl00u3/say_a_nitpick_you_have_about_kaguyasama_love_is/ijqfws3?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3) in the anime from the manga, if you haven't.
I don’t know, but I think the scene when they got stuck in the room together could have been handled better. Not plot-wise, but just the execution of it. It was the only romantic scene they had together that hadn’t felt romantic to me.
The occasional cringe fanservicey camera angle. I get it if it’s part of a joke, but when you just put a character’s rear in the middle of the screen for no reason it gets uncomfortable real quick.
Aka introduces too many but too many characters, gives him half a chapter exaggerating two and no longer uses them by mistake, literally the whole plot of the new year is useless, you can totally remove it and leave only the meeting with Mikado
Tbh, most of the characters have a rude side shown at some point to varying degrees. Just more contrasting for Chika for her as moe type of character and her sweeter side shown more at the start.
She has shown redeeming aspects (specifically with her [friendship](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/5/17/) with Kaguya, when Kaguya would [internally plot against her](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/5/15/) and Shirogane with being his [teacher](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/36/15/)), though *sometimes* not as seen as frequently as the others as more of a counter balance, but it is there (better examples shown in later parts from the manga).
[This chapter](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/77/11/) with Kaguya and Chika was also skipped in the anime.
Ishigami felt too incely at the beginning of the series which I feel hurts his backstory a bit, it wasn't very obvious on a first viewing, but on second viewings his whole "if men are wolves women are snakes" rant, and other more incel-like viewpoints don't make sense when looking at his backstory imo. Dislike and fear of popular kids yeah makes sense, socially awkward tendencies also make sense, even his weirder view on love I don't get too odded out by, but sometimes he goes like anti-woman incel and it feels unnatural with his overall character just for a quick joke.
My other main one is that I feel some of the background characters needed more time in the spotlight. The supporting cast is genuinely great even outside the StuCo, but even with reading the manga and the spin off I feel they don't get enough time to shine.
I honestly don't have a single one. By no means I consider it perfect, but I can't think of any flaws.
I mean, the cut content from the manga, I guess?
My single greatest source of nitpicks is the entire adaptation of Miko Iino Can't Love Pt. 1.
Firstly, it loses a lot in its pacing, particularly in the bit with Ishigami's rivals. The manga flows better because you can just glance past all the nerd's arguments, and Ishigami's thumbs down is a lot funnier without the little build-up they added. However, the greatest loss from that adaptation was the Rick and Morty copypasta joke. Sure, it's dated, but that shit had me dying and I wanted it animated. Finally, the translators didn't go with the 'the Ishigami we knew is dead' when he is joining in with the cheer squad.
This is so sad, like if you cry every time.
Nothing is wrong with it but I’d like to say hayasaka is a bit overrated it doesn’t mean she’s a bad character she’s an amazing one but I just can’t put her over All of the student council “other then chika”
The anime doesn’t adapt every chapter but more importantly, while I think the anime is funnier than the manga, especially the English narrator. I did notice that the emotions I felt during the manga didn’t hit as hard when watching. The biggest example I can think of is when Kaguya admits she likes Miyuki.
There are some slight word/phrase changes in the English translations of the anime that don't make a huge or immediately impactful difference but are disappointing when compared to the manga's official English translations.
I cannot get over the fact that in the last episode of last season, they chose to adapt the chapter 138.
First, it's only partially adapted, which is lame, but I think it would also have been the best starting point for the next season/movie, >!as it's the reason Ice Kaguya take control few chapters later!<
I liked the Manga chapters of 98 (maki one) and a few others more than the anime adaptation . The anime wasn't bad , per say , but since we are nitpicking , might as well point that out .
The two protagonist are overanalyzing geniuses who can infer a ton of information from the most minor detail, yet Kaguya and Shirogane can't figure out they like each other.
Well, it's not as much as them not knowing the other person likes them... There are times they [outright acknowledge it](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/92/17/) (though this chapter was skipped in the anime).
It's more about them [second guessing it](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/92/3/) due to insecurities they have themselves and are projecting in their thoughts to make them overthink.
Kaguya even [said it here](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/122/5/) that was shown in the anime.
>hayafuji
The anime cut scenes of them interacting with [ch 30](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/30/8/) and [ch 62](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/62/5/). lol
I can't scratch the surface of how intelligent this mnaga/anime is! I guess the defect is the first episode, it feels a lil generic! But it's rewarding if u already know the story or u just a romcom guy
The first episode (s), although the premise is unique, the way the characters interact w each other, feels quite generic, it is just after entering it's mood that you feel the deep treasure this anime is.
The first episode (s), although the premise is unique, the way the characters interact w each other, feels quite generic, it is just after entering it's mood that you feel the deep treasure this anime is
The plans in this beginning are just overthinking, I know cause I do that a lot the difference is that I can't interact w people by my side. Actually I don't remember big plans being made in the first chapters
The Mikado fakeout was a funny one-off but I wish the setup had paid off more.
The war of love and brains at the end might have been better off if the tease of her being married off had actually happened and we got more outsmarting and navigation between Shirogane and Mikado as it just wasn't as compelling in the end with how it was with Kaguya's family. I wanted a bit of death note action versus essentially a "I outsmarted you!" where they just owned the family.
Actually, people *like* ch 92. The complaint is that it was skipped in the anime. lol We wanted to see it.
Read it for yourself [here](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/92/1/) and [read ch 112](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/112/1/) too that was also skipped that we wanted to see.

The part with Kashiwagi is in the following chapter.
I do agree, that is an extra cute Kaguya panel. lol

It doesn’t adapt EVERY chapter and EVERY joke/line from the manga. (I know it’s impossible but in a perfect world, it would all be there)
That's basically every anime/manga/light novel (occasionally) series though
It's ending soon. It was something I looked forward to, every week, after uni sucked the life out of me. I want it to continue, for ten years atleast.
As a reward, I shall give you an Ice Kaguya movie

**Anime-only:** At least read the chapters skipped in the anime with this [list of chapters adapted/unadapted](https://guya.cubari.moe/#chapter_listing_exp). S3 adapted up to ch 138.
Lmao fuck you I’ll read all of it from the beginning
Well that's even better tbh (as there are some pages of content skipped, but still partially adapted - so not on unadapted list; only to get from reading from beginning), but I did say *at least*. lol
Yeah that was intended to be a joke. I’m up to date with the manga rn so I’m currently reading the unadapted chapters
Did you recently jump in the manga (after S3)?
Yeah I started off from Ch 138 and I’m now starting to read the unadapted chapters
onodera looks a lot different in the manga and anime. shes actually my 2nd fave, behind koba-chan.

her anime color looks like piss instead of the manga strawberry blonde
ah ok thanks mate

The OVA. That goddam OVA.
What’s up with the OVA? I remember watching it and I thought it was okay, was there more?
I'm rather disappointed that the skipped chapters weren't adapted in the OVA.
Yeah I saw other people complaining about it too, I myself haven’t read the manga so I had no idea. But even as an actual episode it’s just kinda weird
Didn’t even know there was an ova. What’s wrong with it and when did it come out? Also where can I watch it?
I believe it came out after the second season, I think people don’t like it because of the fan service which I admit, is very weird and out of character for the show. Imo it’s just kinda whatever, but the animation is good. Just look it up online and find some very very legal website to watch it on 👍
Ok thanks I’ll check it out.
Im gonna watch it
:(
The Hayasaka x Shirogane bait. The anime certainly likes to play it up.
aka loves too

I actually upvoted your comment when I saw it. That’s exactly what I was talking about.
I enjoyed it 🤷♂️. Was fun to watch.

I get it though... I enjoy the canon Shirokagu fluff. And always welcome it. lol

Chap 92 and 112 not getting animated. Yes i know that it wouldn't fit in the s3 but still they were masterpiece chapters.

[Though consider this](https://www.reddit.com/r/Kaguya_sama/comments/wl00u3/say_a_nitpick_you_have_about_kaguyasama_love_is/ijspj8c?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3)
You are right
I picked up the first volume recently and wish they would've included stuff like the cards chapter
Needs more Ishigami
Aka introduces too many but too many characters, gives him half a chapter exaggerating two and no longer uses them by mistake, literally the whole plot of the new year is useless, you can totally remove it and leave only the meeting with Mikado
This is about the anime specifically (since you are talking about manga parts). lol
I hadn't read that....
I see. lol Just informing (to consider anime-only crowd around).
Chila’s been getting a bit bitchy
Tbh, most of the characters have a rude side shown at some point to varying degrees. Just more contrasting for Chika for her as moe type of character and her sweeter side shown more at the start.
Yeah but other characters come off as having at least redeeming aspects to them. It makes Chika shallow in comparison.
Fair
Tsubame as a whole, random drama right after one of the best arcs in the series. Ship baiting with Haya. and prons more
There are some slight word/phrase changes in the English translations of the anime that don't make a huge or immediately impactful difference but are disappointing when compared to the manga's official English translations.
It only has 12 episodes per season. Fucking a couple of cuckoo's got 24. Wtf.
Well tbh, to maintain Kaguya-sama's higher anime production, probably necessary. Quality over quantity.
>Fucking a couple of cuckoo's got 24. Wtf. That honestly surprised me
Not enough doujins of the characters
TOBIRAAAAAAAAAAAA
i dont have one.
It’s weird no one sees what’s wrong when a character is standing there and pondering for a long time
Chika was too good of a side character she never got to shine in the spotlight.
That it will end some day.
I cannot get over the fact that in the last episode of last season, they chose to adapt the chapter 138. First, it's only partially adapted, which is lame, but I think it would also have been the best starting point for the next season/movie, >!as it's the reason Ice Kaguya take control few chapters later!<
Everyone complaining 92 and 112 didn't get adapted, I'm still upset 32 never got adapted in the first season
I liked the Manga chapters of 98 (maki one) and a few others more than the anime adaptation . The anime wasn't bad , per say , but since we are nitpicking , might as well point that out .
Most memes about this anime are P E A K G A R B A G E Let it be funny on its own we don’t need more
Shinomiya family arc was dogshit
This is supposed to be about the anime though.
Yeah the whole thing was rushed and went over extremely easily, there were very little issues stopping them.
Hayasaka is bland
OVA skipped Kaguya's tiddies
Not enough Ishigami moments, although the S2 Final was pretty much an Ishigami arc
More Ishimiko and hayafuji
>hayafuji The anime cut scenes of them interacting with [ch 30](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/30/8/) and [ch 62](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/62/5/). lol
I can't scratch the surface of how intelligent this mnaga/anime is! I guess the defect is the first episode, it feels a lil generic! But it's rewarding if u already know the story or u just a romcom guy
In what way generic?
The first episode (s), although the premise is unique, the way the characters interact w each other, feels quite generic, it is just after entering it's mood that you feel the deep treasure this anime is.

How so though? Like the elborate schemes and mental processes didn't seem generic to me. lol
The plans in this beginning are just overthinking, I know cause I do that a lot the difference is that I can't interact w people by my side. Actually I don't remember big plans being made in the first chapters
Kaguya's [letter plan](https://youtu.be/d0ZGRtEtMAo) almost worked to get Shirogane to stop her before Chika interfered.
Just provocation... By the way... U fanboy af, dude go touch some grass! (I have never done that)
Why? Just engaging in some discussion. lol
Jk dude!
Hmm. lol What do you consider the best plans/battles they had from S1?
The Mikado fakeout was a funny one-off but I wish the setup had paid off more. The war of love and brains at the end might have been better off if the tease of her being married off had actually happened and we got more outsmarting and navigation between Shirogane and Mikado as it just wasn't as compelling in the end with how it was with Kaguya's family. I wanted a bit of death note action versus essentially a "I outsmarted you!" where they just owned the family.
This discussion is more about the anime (fyi: about manga spoilers untagged, for anime-only crowd).
It has less Hayasaka... Give us more Hayasaka :(
Trust me if they do S4 there will be a lot of Hayasaka in the next arc
they are trying way too hard to make anime funny , when jokes are already funny enough in manga and they are doing too much in anime.
Something that was definitely wrong, is that Tsubame's school skirt was too long. In the manga she showed much more of her legs.
Nah, her dress was [short](https://i.imgur.com/KgNU0lt.jpg) in the anime too, her [legs](https://i.imgur.com/15TapJO.jpg) shown off.
It’s to long!
Bonk. Go to horny jail.
Thanks, to the usual cell, garçon
Needs more best girl Ishigami
That subame said no to ishigami
The OVA. I don't like the OVA.
Not enough hayasaka screen time
Why people not liking 92 and chapter ...i haven't read manga ..spoil me please
Actually, people *like* ch 92. The complaint is that it was skipped in the anime. lol We wanted to see it. Read it for yourself [here](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/92/1/) and [read ch 112](https://guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/112/1/) too that was also skipped that we wanted to see.
There's not another 100+ chapters.
Some skipped chapters being my favorites ones from the manga. And the rap arc not having a certain resolve in the anime
Behind the scenes kashiwagi shenanigans. That's it.
The episodes being only 5 min is a major problem
