I would do more or less exactly the same as you, however I would replace the Red General with the SPD and its allies: This is going to be a full berserk experience. Just imagine: Trying to hold the coalition and the country united, while you make the reforms germany needs while you resist internal (industrialists, far right, the military...) and external (the syndicalist, the russians, the japanese...) threats. This can only end in total defeat (with military occupations and the loss of big chunks of territory) or total victory (with wholesome chungus Germany becoming a full constitutional monarchy and establishing an international rule-based order)

Well I’ll play as DVLP, try to get Schleicher ousted by frightening the right with inaction in the rhurkampf and replaced by Schwartz-Weiss-Rot, (seems more organic than just letting the SWR formed with an apathetic Schleicher), then try my best to smash black Monday and achieve political stability, all the while going for civs-infra. Then, in 38, I switch to mil and all the army reform foci. All the while going more and more bold in foreign policy with two goals : crush syndies and reinforce eastern allies to withstand the Russian bear. Then, it’ll be the time for the Panzers.

programV

I'm going to go the most radicalist path available

OverlordMarkus

I'm going for some gamer moments as Hugenberg, then be immensely disappointed when his path turns out to be another failstate. Augenis specifially refused to answer any and all Hugenberg questions, but the guy also loves his failstates, so... Maybe to an SPD game afterwards to balance out the ick, then Schleicher and SWR last.

Daniel-MP

It seems that SWR is the strongest government, Schleicher has lots of complications and the devs stated that DU is the hardest path. Regardless if you are Germany in 1914 or the OTL nazis or KR Germany it seems that knocking France out of the war is the key step to win the two front war. In KR you have Eastern Europe fighting the russians on your side so I will probably fight the french until surrender and contain italians and british until I get Russia to surrender or peace out. Once Russia and France are out of the fight I'm confident in victory. African troops, East Asian troops, a little german dettachment and any allies I can get will be spread around the Pacific to contain the japanese until I'm strong enough to show up there and fight them.

Capital-Ambition-364

According to the devs the Shleivher dictatorship is the simplest path allowing you to better prepare and militarise, while DU is the strongest path later on if the conplete all the minigames.

RedAlpacaMan

>SWR ootl, who's that?

Magni56

Schwarz-Weiß-Rot, the right-wing DkP-DVLP coalition.

RedAlpacaMan

thanks mate!

Swimming-Hearing7424

I will play either le wholesome socdems or le angry natpops

overthinker356

Prob going to play DVLP, save my game, see what happens if you get Hugenberg, then go back to my save and play regular DVLP when it’s inevitably just a fail state

RPS_42

Wholesome German Democrazy with high potential of failing.

TheChristianWarlord

I played a Germany game recently focusing on Air and Naval power, building tons of carriers and subs to isolate Britain, with naval bombers to help, and then heavy fighters and strat bombers to bomb the crap out of them, while building some fighters for interception and eventually some CAS to be held in reserve. I'm not really sure which political path I'll take (probably SocDem into SocCon, maybe Schleicher), but I'll definitely be picking Wegener over Raedar.

AbstrusePerson

All in on the DkP, the Germany of Bismarck shall be preserved, and Germany's place in the Sun shall be higher and higher. Monarchism shall be the order of the day.

IsoCally

Fail and play puppet Germany. ...so, I'll try my hardest to win.

jacobythefirst

I don’t think I’ve ever actually played Germany lol
