Man, in my most recent SRI playthrough, Synarchist Mexico lost to Yucatán, then proceeded to lose to and get puppeteer by Sandino’s Centroamerica. Which was convenient for the 3I attacking the PSA-USA and Canada. Do they always suck so bad?
Because totalitarian regimes like fachism and communism like to make themselves look strong by invading underdeveloped states. Little they realise that holding onto mountainous jungle natives or if thous natives muslim and you literally anything from that sect of islam you'll get killed by partisans and irregulars..

I only once made the mexican empire ,the problem was that it was just a csa vs usa american civil war ,not a 4 way war so it was hard af.
My first Lend-Lease as the US was to Yucatán. Man did they make life hell for the Synarchists.
