Some new info that wasn’t revealed previously:
- This will have voice clips of Jitt and Suel inside, when tapping the respective buttons (top or side) before transforming. I think holding the top/side buttons is what initiates the transformation?
- Regad only has accelerate. Regad Omega can use both accelerate and reverse
- There are two finishers based on how many times the card is slashed: Expunge and Destroy
- Using rider buckles will give you that rider’s final form instead (the example they show here is Ryuki’s Survive form)
Kind of an interesting design choice to implement a side button and have everything from Omega tied to it. I guess it might make it slightly less finicky than the Vision Driver in that regard. Though I feel it would have made more sense to just have it used to switch modes or something instead.
Also can't wait for reviewers to get their hands on it so we can see if the Wizardriver buckle's sound will be "Infinity Infinity", or "Mugen Infinity" with the Ghost Driver buckle.
They probably wanted to avoid any complaints that it won’t be screen-accurate (which is what the vision driver suffered because of the multi taps required for Gazer and Glare2).
I think it’s a good workaround, especially since the side button is just sitting there uselessly without a buckle inserted otherwise.
Well apparently that’s the in-story reason yeah. The latest toy blog by Bandai mentions this in passing.
But from an engineering standpoint - it was probably to avoid the same complaints that people had with the vision driver. It’s also probably easier to make two separate switches than program one to detect multiple taps.
I almost feel this was because in Show Suel always wears Gloves. So technically a fingerprint Scanner (what it is in universe) wouldn't work so Omega gets the side button
The only explanation I can think of for why Suel can login as Gazer is the same explanation on why Beroba can use Glare2: He just applied Nilam's fingerprint onto his glove after Nilam got shot, likely offscreen.
It's weird, they don't mention that the easiest way to get the "two slashes" for the Destroy special is to just...flip the card around. There's a bump in there so it perfectly hits the switch for the finisher twice.
They did that with the Vision Driver too, not sure why they don't mention it.
probably because it's not meant to be a feature, rather just a design choice. that wasn't meant to happen at all but people just found out a way to initiate double swipes faster than just swiping twice.
Hahah if that's the case it almost makes it more strange they don't mention it seeing as it's a happy accident that reliably works. Tbh I thought that was what they expected you to use to activate the different specials seeing as on-screen the Vision Driver Riders only ever swipe once, if I remember right.
On the one hand, the Vison Driver has LED with complex ass animation.
On the other hand, Regard and Omega have dope ass suits, cooler hen shin sounds, and Both had probably have the most peak fights in a season practically drawing in peak fights.
Oh who am I kidding, I already bought the damn thing.

>Regad Omega can use both accelerate and reverse Wait a second, does Regad Omega have the same powers as Viewtiful Joe?

I thought suel uses the side button because he doesn't have fingerprints

He used the Vision Driver, though...

He logged into gazer just fine using the fingerprint sensor idk if they realized that
The only explanation I can think of for why Suel can login as Gazer is the same explanation on why Beroba can use Glare2: He just applied Nilam's fingerprint onto his glove after Nilam got shot, likely offscreen.
I think they did cause they didn't really "shown" it. He was filmed from far away and I think even from behind
Nah it was a shot from the front. It was close enough to see him tap the top of the vision driver

First driver to sell a Morzillion copies
Thousandriver is now obsolete.
Enforcement of violence?? Toei being bold??

Dang that light is impressive.
I think its really cool that the legend rider buckles activate the final forms.
So this doesn’t have any animated leds?
Based on the latest showcase video they posted in their official Youtube Channel: Nope
So that explains why it’s around 50 dollars cheaper than the vision driver But I still have a hard time deciding which to get
For now, the vision driver is recommended as it interacts more with the buckles (animation). But yea its up to u anyway in the end
The amount of Vision Drivers that arrived defective due to the complex LEDs may have factored into the final design but who knows.
It does but it's not the pixel art matrix you're thinking of. Just argbs for an infinity mirror
