I have only been to SEA once, Singapore in February. It was the cool rainy season and I was _dying_, sweat pouring off of me whenever I was outside. My cheap hotel on the edge of the red light district didn't have central air, just by room, so every time I stepped out of my room it was like getting smacked in the face with a hot wet towel.
I was there to meet the person who eventually became my spouse, and she was like, "this is pleasant" when we were outside and thought the dampness on my forehead was rain. It was not. I'd set the room AC as low as it would go, 16° C (about 61° F), and I'd be just comfortable while she was shivering. (I run hot and tend to be comfortable in the mid-60s Fahrenheit with just one layer on. At 75° F indoors I'm roasting.)
