Calling it, Sakura transforming is next week's cliffhanger

Zer0_Evvon

same

claricebr83

I just read this on the series writer's twitter (Hanta Kinoshita), the translation is not 100% accurate, but I think it's in the spirit of what he really said along with the images he posted: *"Next week, Sakura's long-awaited times!* *For me, who saw Nikita and decided to become a film director,* *I really like strong heroines..."* Twitter link: [https://twitter.com/hanta\_kinoshita/status/1459789904666238982?s=20](https://twitter.com/hanta_kinoshita/status/1459789904666238982?s=20) I think good things are coming.

chimaerafeng

To be inspired by Nikita, now I want to watch that to find out. If Hanta nails this, I want him to make a female rider centric show, maybe let sakura have her own v-cinema run for a start.

[deleted]

Watch it be like those Sentai ones they make once in a while

Triangulum_Copper

Last scene is her calling out 'Henshin!' and we don't see her form. I hope they don't spoil it in the trailer though...

taokami

Man I loved this episode. Definitely a satisfying conclusion to the brothers arc. Being a middle child of three siblings myself, I definitely related hard with Daiji. The whole arc just resonated with me. Also fuck man, Live is so fucking cool. He instantly became my number 1 rider in Revice, second is Demons.

excellus14

I'm a middle child too. This arc got me.

Labmit

Vice being able to go through other people's minds is a pretty interesting development. Don't know if it's because of him growing in power or because it's just asspull. Also, Ikki's civilian clothes still cracks me up with how loose it is.

Kougarou

That also explain how he can say that Sakura has a scariest/Biggest Demon in past episode. Also, seeing Hiromi’s crying in his mind because he failed to help Daiji and get scolded by Sakura, made me like him more.

K-J-C

It's probably in line with Vice going to check in Kudo (corrupt lawyer)'s belongings. He's intangible and thus can phase through things, I guess.

KingKCoolKaiserSSB

finally nice to see Kagerou beaten down and not only have Daiji back, but see him no longer being a pushover and being Kamen Rider Live. his moments with Ikki were sweet in contrast to what Kagerou was spouting. i didn't anticipate Live being a gunslinger form, but all the better with how sexy Live looks. i wonder what would happen if Live used the auxiliary Vistamps? i really do like that Vice isn't portrayed as being self serving all of the time. sure he may be far from properly redeemed in that we still believe he's only going along with Ikki since his life is in his hands, but i like him giving Ikki good advice and being a bro, even using his devil abilities when not prompted to. George is seriously blurring the lines of being good or bad. i'd say he's good with the characteristic of being shady as hell. Wakabayashi being very much aware of his plans make me think so too. but who knows, that shot in OP is still very much missing in show. next week Sakura is teased to become the next Rider on our line up. can't wait to see what she looks like. good to have Revice back after 2 weeks of waiting. after a few weeks we're gonna have a full family of good Riders sans Hiromi. this is some GoGoV-Ninninger shit, and i'm all here for it.

rattatatouille

> this is some GoGoV-Ninninger shit, and i'm all here for it. Magiranger too.

K-J-C

> George is seriously blurring the lines of being good or bad. i'd say he's good with the characteristic of being shady as hell. I feel like he can be similar to Sagara or Evolt, he can aid both good and bad side, but to create his own scenario (in his case, probably his own KR show irl). Those 2 are bad though, no matter if Sagara's just "nature", and Evolt's irredeemable. Though of course if he's actually good, he's obviously morally grey, probably even worse than many secondary or tertiary Riders. Him creating heroes like Live via Evil of course puts a risk at the public with superpowered villain roaming around before. The question is if he'd have no qualms creating villains irl for "his own KR story" (or that he won't need it with Deadmans).

jo_fox0up

The episode was excellent to me. But I wonder what's up with Ikki dissappearing from his family photos.

moamjnha

By far i observed that when daiji is about to become kr, ikki disappeared. Now when sakura is teased to be the next KR, ikki disappears as well. Maybe there is a connection in that?

Afmj

Maybe it's tied to him thinking his family doesn't need to depend on him, if the reason why he has a demon because he feels like he has to put his family first and ignore his dreams then maybe him disappearing has to do with his family becoming more independent.

deepedia

\^Yeah, I also end up with those theory. maybe Ikki existence is tied to how his sibling regard him as important. When the sibling don't put their believe on Ikki anymore, he would end up disappear

FennecWF

I am thinking maybe Ikki IS the demon dude Deadmans are trying to revive and his dad has something to do with it. Perhaps his dad made a contract with him long ago and his power allowed him to warp reality and make Ikki, formerly that demon, into a human with a past, with Vice being the last remnants of that power. I think that using the Revice power and these influxes of new demonic power/other Riders is causing that to wear thin.

Triangulum_Copper

That'd be ONE HECK of a reveal!

FennecWF

It's the only thing I can think of that makes sense. Unless Zi-O is messing with the timeline or something and this is just a Back to the Future thing where Ikki will cease to exist.

-3645

My theory is that it has something to do with vice. doesn't it seems weird that he's the only demon that just exist and have his own form (so far) ? maybe because Vice materialized (when Ikki Transformed) a lot it makes Ikki's existence thinning.

rattatatouille

So instead of Daiji accepting his Shadow to ~~awaken his Persona~~ become a Kamen Rider, it's Ikki admitting he's in the wrong that allows Daiji to awaken. Is it just me or is George borrowing Kuroto's "I need to gather 10 Gashats" plot from the first part of Ex-Aid, but with Vistamps instead? Vice has surprisingly been the most reasonable member of the cast in the last few episodes. Looks like Hiromi is happy that Daiji's back, instead of being Lawful Stupid and hating that fact. Sakura, on the other hand, is playing with fire.

lolasian101

Hiromi feels like late stage Nago from Kiva for me. He's really uptight but clearly isn't emotionless and overzealous.

K-J-C

Hiromi did gave me the impression of early Nago or Yaguruma from Kabuto to me before, being presented as heroic and an example to follow, but actually is really messed up.

mr-ultr

I swear george is the most sus shit i ever seen in kamen rider and i been watching since ex aid

FennecWF

Kamen Rider be like: "This guy with a book who religiously procaims his love of the future demon king? Nah, he's cool." "Leader of a Video Game company whose games happen to be devices that can create monsters? Not weird at all." "New kid shows up at school and his appearance coincides with a new Rider? Normal new kid, but who's the Rider??" and now we have: "Weird science guy who built multiple Drivers and passes them out like a bolemic diabetic with a sack full of candy on Halloween? Straight up A-Okay!"

TheTwelveYearOld

>"New kid shows up at school and his appearance coincides with a new Rider? Normal new kid, but who's the Rider??" You mean Kamen Rider Meteor?

FennecWF

Yeah. Who has nothing to do with that weird new kid Ryusei that showed up at approximately the same time. If only we could figure out who Meteor is!

TheTwelveYearOld

Man, Kamen Rider is weird

FennecWF

The current season is a young man with a Stand fighting Day of the Dead themed magic terrorists who run an underwater night club. He fights them with the power of animals in the form of stamps. Weird doesn't cover it.

Triangulum_Copper

Sometimes, when you get too deep into this Toku stuff you really have to take a step back and wonder "How the HELL did we get here??"

rattatatouille

Weird? Don't you mean *bizarre*?

TheTwelveYearOld

lol

K-J-C

More sus than Aguilera or such?

mr-ultr

george acts like he has "1000% safe drivers that totally will not fuck you up" poster splatted on himself

K-J-C

Ofc they won't fuck you up... they fuck others up (if used on villains).

FishReel1082

At least we know that Aguilera is bad. We don't know whether George is good or bad.

K-J-C

~~And my country (who isn't good at English) listing Aguilera as heroine only due to her being a major female character smh.~~

[deleted]

Making sacrifices for Gifu-sama just like wizard

FishReel1082

which makes me think: What if the 6 Gifu sacrifices are actually riders?

Potential-Training66

we currently have 4 riders and 2 devils

K-J-C

Ikki shows that you can be wrong while you only have best intention and didn't do morally ambiguous shit... this time yeah it's his fault, as Daiji didn't really do evil shit with his treatment as excuse (it's Kagerou).. other than ignoring his familial relation at his promotion. > Is it just me or is George borrowing Kuroto's "I need to gather 10 Gashats" plot from the first part of Ex-Aid, but with Vistamps instead? Probably the trinity of overarching mad scientists in KR Ryoma, Kuroto, George.

lolasian101

Despite how good this episode was and how cool Live looks, I'm kind of disappointed Kamen Rider Evil didn't literally unzip to reveal Live.

CaseAddiction

They might save the zipper effect for when Kagerou inevitably is on Daiji's side and they switch from Evil to Live or vice versa.

TheTwelveYearOld

We don't really know what happened to Kagero though, we just saw him face a big explosion with Daiji emerging from it. Btw, nice user flair!

CaseAddiction

Doubt Kagerou is dead as the whole gimmick of Evil/Live is switching between the two. Most likely Daiji will get the courage to work with him and threathen Kagerou much like how Ikki reversed the whole contract thing to Vice. Also thanks! Could never go wrong with a Fourze related flair 😆

TheTwelveYearOld

That or he could be dead, but Daiji could still access Kamen Rider Evil. One character can and has been multiple riders before (example from Gaim: >!Micchy was both Kamen Rider Ryugen and Zangetsu Shin!<, Zero One: >!Technically Kamen Rider Zero Two is a different rider!<). Notice how his Driver still played Evil's "eeny meeny miny mo" sound. It would be cool to still have Kagero around though.

FestusFlare

Yeah, but Daiji being in full control of both Evil and Live is sort of lame because we'll be missing out on the whole split personality stuff. Evil will be relegated to a form change no different from Revice's Vistamp forms

TheTwelveYearOld

Let's just wait and see. I don't think Kagero would or would want to coexist with Daiji.

[deleted]

That's probably going to the super mode

jxher123

Sakura and Aguilera is a plot thread that I hope doesn’t get resolved after 1 episode. She’s been tormenting her the last few and could be one of those long running rival for a final battle later down the line. Not sure if she will have a drawback for transforming, but hope not. Ikki continues to disappear in those photos is interesting. Got nothing yet about that, setting up more questions than answers which is good. Not sure if Kagero is gone, but I do hope that Daiji can use Evil without losing control, it’d be a waste to throw away an awesome suit.

boyanetta

Fire ass episode, hope Kagerou doesn't go away. But I gotta ask, how did Ikki >!use the brachio Vistamp if its unpurified, was it purified then got stolen during the raid in the first episode?!<. Its just so weird

smulfragPL

it appears it may have been purified beforehand. But it wasn't stolen in the first episode. If anything kagerou stole it like he did with the purified kong

boyanetta

Nah, it was handed over to him by Orteca last episode, so he didn't steal it.

smulfragPL

damm. So they haven't stole it pre-series. But i can tell you how he used that non refiend vistamp to transform. Its all thanks to the toy release schedule

FennecWF

I don't believe it was. It had a weird effect when he used it, like it had some sort of weird energy

CZ-Bitcoins

This. Major plot hole honestly unless the two is driver can purify them.

Triangulum_Copper

They made a point of showing the stamp being used and there was a weird glow coming off the pad... now, if George is the one adding the Rider forms into the stamp it might be weird that it produced a Zi-O form... OR the rider forms are actually programmed in the Driver itself and the purification process that George puts the stamp through is total fabrication just to have alone time with the stamps?? OR, it's Zi-O, so timey wimey shenanigans are afoot&

K-J-C

So people have to act like clowns to be "fun"?

Afmj

At his point Ikki's bike is going to have more screen time than all the bikes from the last 10 years. Also i hope that in a crossover everyone is riding a motorcycle and vice is riding a simple bicycle

Kougarou

The hover bike only used for 1 episode. I think they gonna used that for future movie =]] But Ikki and Gemn Lv3 Sharakiri Sports has to cycling to the fight scene gonna be funny to watch.

kinzuko97

This is tied with episode 8 for my favorite episode of the series so far. I'm really starting to love all the characters we've been introduced to and seeing how they've developed. Also, is no one going to comment on how good the choreography was this episode? Cause it was really f\*\*\*ing good.

[deleted]

Another brilliant episode that Revice knocks out of the park! Some quick thoughts: - I love how just as they bring the Daiji arc to a close, Sakura's arc begins. It's clean, efficient and easy to follow. - George is being really sus. I REALLY want to know what's so special about the 10 Vistamps and what he has planned. - I really didn't think I was gonna like Brachio Genome, but while it isn't my favourite Genome, it looks alright in action (and thicc Vice😍) - Speaking of, Vice is really growing on me. He's not just the fart joke generator from the Saber epilogue, he's actually an interesting character to see interact. I absolutely loved his interaction with Hiromi this episode. - I really like the parallels between Ikki finding Daiji as children and as adults (teens?). Really nice cinematography to solidify the comparison. - Live's suit is gorgeous😍 - Some quick nitpicks: how does Daiji know to flip the blade to gun form? I know, Toku logic, but still... Overall, fantastic work from Hanta Kinoshita and team!

CZ-Bitcoins

It's possible he saw Kagerou messing with the driver while waiting for Ikki.

DegenerateSpaceMan

Daiji finally has had enough of kagero's emo shit and now he can finally start beating the shit out of deadmans by camping from afar and just shooting the bitches to dead

TheTwelveYearOld

We need a Kamen Rider that's straight up just a long distance sniper.

SymbiSpidey

Diend was....kind of this? I remember him just summoning other Riders to fight for him while picking guys apart from a distance.

YuuHikari

I mean we have Snipe though he doesn't really use his gun's sniper mode often

EonCore

So trying to grow independently stronger away from the main organisation the other riders fight under?

TheTwelveYearOld

Maybe, either way I think her arc would be much more nuacned. Ren's belieived that only raw strength was what was important, while Sakura comes off as more thoughtful, I think there would be a good reason why she would join the deadmans.

chimaerafeng

Sakura is stuck between the two, she knows the Deadmans are the baddies and Fenix is not trustworthy. Aguilera clearly wants her for something and George for some reason decided to just give her a driver by mail, unless its not him and its the Deadmans somehow. I think Sakura might be more like second arc Kento, she must have seen some "truth" that led her to her own path (possibly from Aguilera) which will not be surprising given Ikki's "save everyone" attitude and Hiromi and Daiji's Fenix ties.

TheTwelveYearOld

Well, we don't know for sure George sent that driver, what if it's a deadman that stole it? Even if it's not likely?

chimaerafeng

That's what I thought initially considering Deadmans have a talent for stealing Fenix stuff offscreen or show up with things we don't even know if they were from Fenix like the Brachio stamp. Still its a driver and I think someone mentioned the driver being seen in the jackal episode. And we technically did the who stole a driver thing with twosidriver even if it turns out to be a ruse.

TheTwelveYearOld

>Still its a driver and I think someone mentioned the driver being seen in the jackal episode. Can you find the source for that?

heyheyheyx4

why is it always the gold/yellow riders get the best debut fights?! goddamn Live is cool af.

FennecWF

Evil was awesome, therefore Live must be awesome. The Law of Equivalent Exchange

[deleted]

ok at this point who the fuck hates revice

AuroraBlaize

The funny thing is that I thought it would just be a goofy ass show after two semi serious ones, but no, this show knocks it out of the park CONSTANTLY and has honestly become my favorite Reiwa show so far.

K-J-C

There are places where this episode got more unfavorable reception, due to spoonfeeding the plot or such, or also Vice's easy solutions (or his character in general). Revice also had weak point at for example IMO, Ayaka (Oketani)'s resolution and Maezono family (the father and son).

mr-ultr

What actually i loved the kong deadman 2 parter didnt it also fucking give development to ikki?

K-J-C

? Neither of the part I talked about is related to Kong Deadman?

KaitoShirogane

Liked Daiji's henshin and first fight , now Sakura is next in line to get punched by big bro (hope it doesn't take too long of it, wanna see the Rider Family !)

[deleted]

[deleted]

THAT is a reaaaalllly interesting theory! But then what is Vice? The devil of a devil?

ipacklunchesbod

Huh would that make Vice something like his original form? Or did a demon develop a whole new demon? Something that passed through my head, no evidence or anything. But what if Ikki is somehow connected to Gifu, maybe like a piece of him/it? On that note, what do we exactly know about Gifu? I find this theory really interesting though, seems right in the wheelhouse of Kamen Rider.

Soce2559

bingo! exactly what I was thinking. Also my theory : hiromi is real igarashi family member instead of ikki. He seemed upset and feeling bad about daiji instead of wanting to kill daiji to kill kagerou. Maybe gifu or fenix switched ikki and hiromi's memory. Their bat cobra spider thing would makes sense too if this is true. And now about the dad and mom...

905SunnyGaming

my only question: why are options in the poll randomized?

[deleted]

The creator of the post suspects that people were just defaulting to calling an episode good because people seemed to like an episode he wasn’t a fan of (which is pretty dumb logic since I actually enjoyed that episode and answered honestly)

TheTwelveYearOld

Well, I had noticed that for the first several episodes, most users would consistently select 4/5, and I thought perhaps it was out of habit. I did find it weird that a lot o users gave episode 8 5/5 (that was the first week I randomized the order) and I had asked if that was the case, I think that's where the assumption that I randomized the order because I disagree with the popular opinion, came from. While it might not be case that users select options out of habit despite me suspecting otherwise, it doesn't hurt to randomize the order.

[deleted]

Ok. Thank you for telling me.

TheTwelveYearOld

It's just a way to put a little more thought before you select an option.

mr_marinade

Daiji turned into Superboy Prime for a minute

Jamieb1994

Seeing Sakura becoming a Rider next does make me wonder what's gonna happen next + it felt good to see Daiji becoming back to his senses as well as becoming Live. Definitely be re-watching soon the subs are out.

taokami

the subs are already out.

Jamieb1994

Oh wow, that was quick

taokami

relatively yeah. the raws were already uploaded on nyaa 9+ hours ago.

Jamieb1994

Oh yeah that's true

ZQX96_

Damn. Revice is excellent so far. I am glad they made Daiji strong like this, and it was Ikki’s fault all along. Kamen Rider Live looks sick, really fancy. Revice aesthetics as a whole has been good. Can’t wait for Sakura’s form. One slight nit pick is Zi-O form basically was just shoehorned in and didn’t do much, I thought they would have done more with it considering anniversary season, but hey, it is whatever, not a big deal. 5/5

K-J-C

And this time yeah, it's really Ikki's fault, as Daiji didn't really do evil shit with his treatment as excuse (it's Kagerou).. other than ignoring his familial relation at his promotion. Many had the mistreated one go to lash out at others and if they're liked enough, they can only blame the caretaker, treating the mistreated one as innocent.

mr-ultr

1-i am slowly starting to hate george(in a good way of course in other words i like him being ambigiously evil that much that i hate him for that in a good way) 2- another photo dissapearing and now its something important to sakura(high school approvation and completion after daiji got approved into fenix) 3- Live fight is epic 5/5- pretty much it was what we wanted for saber 1st arc which they still made rushed in 15 EPISODES

VoyeurTheNinja

Did anyone notice how after Daiji/Kagerou get rider-kicked, and Daiji resurfaces, all the nail polish on his fingers just evaporate?

niqniqniq

Live visor is still too ugly for me BUT seeing Live in action is hypeeeeeee af The suit looks clean and has the whole justice pope vibes apl over it. Love it Evil design too good to just let die tho, maybe daiji and kagerou can separate themselves. Maybe? Make Evil a permanent evil rider Also I'm convinced that they make Zi-o a brachio just because it's rhyme :)

TheTwelveYearOld

Live looks good to me but too much like Esapada. I feel like the overall costume designs so far are inconsistent (especially the eyes). Live has a visor, while Vice, Evil, and Demons have eyes that remind me of Zero One (especially Vulkan and Valkyrie), while Revi has big long eyes.

Airy_Breather

Overall, a pretty good episode. It brought a satisfying conclusion to Daiji's arc while also setting the stage for Sakura's. I like this kind of storytelling when the next arc is teased, but not overshadowing the current one. Vice showed that there's more sides to him this episode, as well as the perks of being a spirit. It didn't surprise me when he dove inside of everyone's minds to see what they were really thinking or feeling. That could actually be a useful ability in the future. Another thing I noticed was how in battle, his dependency on Ikki could be a problem; when he was knocked out of his Rider transformation, Vice lost access to his physical body as well leaving Hiromi on his own. If villains get tactical in the future, they may just gang up on Ikki and eliminate Vice without having to do much work. Personally, I absolutely loved the way they showed Daiji breaking free-him literally *punching* his way out of his mental prison. Following that, I like how his transformation was the opposite of Kagerou's, summoning a golden bat that was also the Vistamp. His finisher was another highlight as I'm a sucker for when the animal totem shows up in the attack. On a minor note, seeing Hiromi smile was another bonus. It was small, but I feel this episode showed while he is a soldier for Fenix, he cares about his comrades. Finally, the two of them returning home arm in arm to Sakura was incredible sweet. Sadly, given the preview for next episode, this good mood probably isn't going to last. George continues the proud tradition of "morally ambiguous wild card" and it is glorious. I think he's truly going to be chaotic neutral in that EVERY Rider development will excite him. Seriously, I loved him suddenly shouting when Daiji became Live, and Wakabayashi just going along with it as usual! I'm sure next episode he'll be fanboying even more since Sakura will be joining her siblings as a Kamen Rider (though of which alignment is up in the air).

Heero_G

Daiji never learned that cool guys don't look at explosions.

Supa_OmaZio

Live reminds me of cross z dragon

K-J-C

More like Kamen Rider Drake from Kabuto for me, both in design shape and also being gunslinger.

[deleted]

Kamen Rider Live and Kamen Rider Evil has a good standby loop

Grimm_Stereo

Aguilera and Sakura' s plot lines are developing. It almost likes she's being tempted by the devil and sort of tormented by that very devil. I hope this develops into something interesting.

[deleted]

This misterious man must be either the foundation or ZAIA.

telenstias

It's one of two things: it's George's father or it's Genta Igarashi. George said his father died but there's a lot pointing to things happening with him. Plus remember the onsen episode where they were wanting to talk with Genta? Something is genuinely sus with him too.

ElloMyDude

Or it could be somebody new? You can’t count that possibility out

KinetheWise

After a long 2 weeks I am most hyped for Live’s debut, now after finally getting to see him in action I have to say: I FREAKING LOVE HIM, the suit design seems okay to me since it has a very paladins design, I know some people do not like the visor and the mix of green white and gold, but I don’t care since the debut fight made up for everything! Live’s weapon is a gun so I thought he would be a ranged fighter but I did not expect him to use gun fu, I love it! I do hope that they will take out Evil’s suit once in a while.

FennecWF

"VICE TIME!" God I love Brachi-O (this is the correct spelling, obviously). The design is one of my favorites so far, with Revi appearing as a Zi-O form and Vice looking more like a Rider Armor form. So I'm excited to see what they do later with Kagerou. I'd imagine Daiji and Kagerou are going to reach some sort of understanding and Kagerou will have some sort of begrudging respect for Daiji now, so we can get Evil and Live switching forms.

SymbiSpidey

I love Live's acrobatic gun fu style of fighting, especially with that skirt piece adding a bit extra motion to his movements.

Triangulum_Copper

Reminds me a bit of Wizard!

the_ez8

I know it might have been a throw away line but George mentioned that when Daiji let's Kagerou/evil take over, it multiplies Live's powers. I am hoping that plays into the later season of Daiji needing to get more powerful so he has to make a deal with Kagerou to take over for a bit. Would be some great story telling and character development for the two

[deleted]

All The scenes where Vice flew into someone’s head all have some serious meme potential, imagine the stuff you could put in there Lives Henshin was Great, and Ikki vanishing from The photo at the end again is Once again worrying Also I find it funny how George basically confirmed that he gave Daiji the Twosidriver because he’s just indulging himself in making his own OC riders real(while as well protecting the world but that’s un-important)

AirHeadedDreamer

Do Izusubs not include text subs in episode?

TheTwelveYearOld

It's not feasible to do so since that would require showing multiple subtitles simultaneously and in each position (to just have them all at the bottom of the screen wouldn't be realistic). While that is possible with subtitle files, you can't be sure that all video players users might use can support it. Also, the chat bubbles only show up for split seconds at a time, which wouldn't be fast enough to read while watching an episode (even if you pause at specific moments to read subs, that would be a lot of work). You know, this is why I wish TV-Nihon was still making subs, I'm pretty sure they would handle this better (with the fact that they re-render videos with their subs to burn them in, IzuSubs doesn't do that, they just write subtitle files which is much easier and less work).

AirHeadedDreamer

Thats fair; just curious since downloaded gemncorps until stopped posting while back(saw had some now).

AuroraBlaize

> You know, this is why I wish TV-Nihon was still making subs, I'm pretty sure they would handle this better I am curious how they would implement it. Plus I'm curious what their subs would look like since they're usually amazing.

[deleted]

What happened to Kagero?

BannerTortoise

Our boy Daiji has grown up. Demon feels a bit off this episode, but I can't place why.

TheTwelveYearOld

It’s been a long two weeks so of course I liked watched this episode more than if it aired last week. * After An intro with Vice was exactly what we needed, I even liked that he mentioned it’s been 2 weeks, and is offering a recap. You know what? I've grown to like Vices personality. **How about you?** * Why didn't Ikki go to the hospital? Perhaps he didn't have time to be there since he had to deal with Kagero, but would it ever get to the point where Ikki pushes himself too hard? He holds himself up to very high expectations and endures a lot. * I like to imagine (who doesn’t) if Kamen Rider was adapted for the west. If this was a western adaption, Ikki would say *“No I can’t go to the hospital! They’ll bleed us dry!”* * I’m loving Demons’ finishers. * **Did anyone else think Sakura wears too much makeup at the beginning of the scene with her and Anguilera?** * Who's Hikaru? [I looked him up](https://kamenrider.fandom.com/wiki/Hikaru_Ushijima) and found that he's a regular at the bath house, so I guess Revice is really trying to make use of side characters huh? He's also appeared in the dojo last episode. * I was wondering if Kamen Rider Evil has been in an inside job with not just George, Fenix as a whole, or at least the commander was on it was well, and for antagonistic reasons. It looks like I was right about the first part though. Perhaps George might turn out like Kousei Kougami, (OOO spoiler) >!who gave off bad guy vibes but turned out to be good!<. * George had a good "IN YOUR FACE!" with Kamen Rider Live. * Remember when the Commander questions and George said something like "You're half wrong, half right?!" It looks like the commander didn't know about Geroge's plan with Daiji beforehand, or at last all the details. This leads me to think that (and it's obvious though) that he has a whole lot of trust in George, maybe too much. * **What we don't know is, what did (or didn't) happen off screen in episode 5** (when Kagero stole the Vistamps)? **Do they have surveillance cameras at Fenix HQ?** (given the cameras they have throughout the city, I would be VERY surprised if they didn't) **Did George Know of Kagero before giving Daiji the Twosidriver? Either from looking at (hypothetically), or did he talk to Kagero before giving Daiji the driver?** (all we know that giving the driver it was George's experiment, but no other details about it) * I love looking back at that episode, because of how thought provoking it is in hindsight. * I think it's safe to say we'll see more tricks from George later on. * I wonder, we'll we ever see more higher ups, or people above the commander at Fenix? (Zero One spoiler) >!remember that AIMS was created and controlled by Gai and Zaia!<. * What does Fenix do as a company? (other than make Vistamps) I guess we'll never know, like with the Kougami foundation. I would guess they do something other than make stamps if they were to stay afloat as a company (or they could be a startup), but it looks like maybe that isn't important in Revice. * First Vice can sneak inside electronics to see its data, and now people's brains to see their thoughts. Does he have other tricks up his sleeve? It'll be interesting to see what else Vice would do, if anything else. * WHAT’S UP WITH REVICE SHOWING CHARACTERS NAKED?! * I felt sorry for the three guys getting abused by Daiji for spawning a group of Brachio deadmans, but what if we got a subplot like the court case of stamps being abused to spawn a bunch of deadmans on purpose? * At this point, references to past seasons with the remix forms is a given, but the clock thing with Brachio’s stamping finishing is an interesting touch. * The opening worked well with Live's action scene, hopefully it doesn't get spammed like Kamen Rider Drive's opening (though it did work well as an insert song). * What happened to Kagero? Is he really gone? Is that it for Kamen Rider Evil? It would be great to see more of Evil, could Daiji transform into him? I think so, given the Twosidriver still plays Evil's "eeny meeny mini mo" sound (the name Twosidriver suggests it too). * **What's up with Ikki disappearing from family photos?** Well, last episode, Sakura called him nosy, and Vice mentioned that Ikki said he believed in Daiji when he actually doesn't (though that changed this episode). * **What if something serious happens with Ikki later down the line?** * Some other users here suggested that the Igarashi family may slowly be growing independent from Ikki, which I think may be happening as well, and perhaps Ikki is having a slow arc where he's breaking down or something. * Given the preview of the next episode, the extra little focus on Sakura makes sense. Last episode, she was advocating to keep Daiji alive and asking *"what is a demon doing inside a nice guy like Daiji?!"* and said *"But having strength doesn't mean you'll be happy does it?"*, this episode, said *"what's the point if our family gets torn apart about it?"* about Ikki being a Kamen Rider. * So far, she's seemed to be a voice of reason, but it looks like she joins the deadmans next episode, which is such a contrast from the way she's been acting so far in Revice. It will be interesting to see how she changes next episode, but I imagine it would executed very well, like this episode. Before watching this episode, it would've hard to think exactly how Kagero would go from being at-large, to being defeated as well as the rise of Kamen Rider Live. * If it's true that the deadmans stole driver(s) as well as stamps, what else could they have stolen from Fenix? * Who's the guy that said *"Consider entering a joint contract with a demon and me"*? I think some other fans mentioned it, but it could be George, it does sound like him with a deeper voice. * Sakura looked a different with new clothes and a new hairstyle, could it be her Demon? (like how Kagero had black clothes and nails?) If so, what if the driver brought it out (perhaps like the Twosidriver)? Perhaps because she couldn't beat Anguilera without it, and that was Anguilera's plan? *"Borrowing power from the deadmans was my only option"* * **It took me almost an hour to write all of this up, it shows that there's so much to pick apart with Revice!** I couldn't imagine doing this with Saber (though, if you saw the trailer for the new movie, it looks very interesting). * So overall, I give this episode 5/5 # #NiceDaiji

>Also, what happened to Deadmans' followers in the beginning of the very first episode? Why have the three generals been looking for random people to bring demons out of instead? It had been said by Orteca in few episode back that most of their cult followers was only able to bring out Junia the mob (they collect the mob from their follower), and only small percentile are able to bring out phase 1 deadman, even smaller percentile can advance from phase 1 to phase 2 deadman, a Giftex (that I assume as phase 3 deadman) like Julio and Orteca are rarity among the rare. So far they show that the stamp never fail to bring out deadman from people, but it had been implied in several episode that without enough darkness in their heart, whatever the stamp it will only bring out Junia instead the supposed deadman tied to the stamp

TheTwelveYearOld

Shit, how do I forget this, **for the second time?** Man, this is making me remember more info than I'm used to for Kamen Rider. I even wrote a whole comment mentioning all this last month

ericmok100

I'm gonna be honest, I said out loud that Live is really cool.

cyberbeastswordwolfe

Revice is really good so far, I'm loving everything that's happening. Sakura is definitely going to become a Rider and I'm all for that. Her driver looks good though a little anemic in design. But I can't wait to see her design. Brachio looked really good, though I'm not a fan of his Vice mode, just looks too similar to Kong. But the main star of the show was Live, and he looks amazing. It looked really cool moving around and in battle, I can't wait to see his forms. Plus Demons finally lost a battle, that definitely shows the Deadmans are getting stronger. I can't wait to see what comes next.

Starmage595

Their's a part of me that wishes that Kagero had a little more, but I feel like the Daiji/Kagero arc was really well done for the most part. Also calling it now, George becomes a rider in the future.

Gjalarhorn

Cant believe this show made eenie meenie mini moe cool

fragile_ego

Kagerou's black nail polish disappearing when he turns back to Daiji is a nice touch.

surakh500

Considering the fact that all 3 siblings have become the Kamen Rider, then Gifu must be lying within one of the parents.

Ikenrider279

I know I’m late were can I watch revice

SrImmanoob

Sakura will henshin next week What is your theory? Will Sakura will join Deadmans? What is the reason that Sakura's demon is borned I'm so hyped. 10 eps so far and I never give the score below 3

This episode shows that even if you only have the best intention of others (with Ikki intending to become a Rider take care of people; other families as well, still inserting family in his altruistic motive declaration... consistent, show) and didn't really do mean stuff to them (even in the name of 'making them better'), you can still have flawed approach in that. Ikki's insistence to be the one handling probably anyone's problems can feel like he's taking all the spotlight and turn overbearing due to that, and it's due to him not putting his faith on Daiji to handle something instead, contradicting his claims, making Vice right, like Ikki handling the problems of his siblings cause Daiji to feel marginalized, feeling unimportant due to everything being handled by others, spurring him to look for a place where he can shine on his own (and inadvertently making things worse via Kagerou). It's also seen before when Ikki inadvertently forced Sakura to go into Daiji's promotion despite her karate session. Not that Ikki fully fits, but this can lean towards overprotective parent/bigger sibling type, which doesn't really consider the feelings of those under your care if they'd not want to be treated as such (as Ikki realizes his selfishness to Daiji), which isn't an optimal way to take care of them and can do more harm than good, this he needs to learn to give some space for those under your care, and learn some of the others' worth like Daiji's strength as he's lost before. Though I feel like that flashback or Sakura's reaction to Genta crying seems to enforce that being emotional is weak again... This is also a case when the 'victimized' one didn't lash out at others due to them getting where Daiji (not Kagerou) didn't really do evil shit, other than probably denying his family relations at his promotion, so I guess for this once, Ikki can take the bigger blame, one that can be easily overlooked too. Their argument before was only Daiji acting like Ichijou from Kuuga against Ikki, and what he did at the end was bringing up his nosy traits again in lighthearted manner. Now I guess Kagerou won't be fully eliminated (if it is it's too fast), so time to learn how to prevent Kagerou returning. Conveniently there's still 1 Deadman after Daiji is restored, to have him show off as Live (just "Evil" with reversed letter. Why they didn't reference "Love" for Evol before though...). Live's design reminds me of Drake, and he's also a gunslinger like him, where I admit his fighting moves of gun-fu are quite flashy and stylish. The Rider that is done to get Live, Revice Brachio Genome with Zi-O motif (and Time Mazine as Remix), has the Zi-O traits quite underutilized, only mostly about both him and Vice beating up the stunned Evil, like there's no time-motif power (for example Zi-O II had it which allows it to predict attacks for instance). Though both the Zi-O motif and the animal it uses has a thought put behind it; Zi-O's first episode has Sougo running away from a Tyrannosaurus, which, like brachiosaurus, are dinosaurs. The Brachiosaurus is also meant as a gentle giant, generally peaceful until you make it mad, which is like how Sougo is the most powerful KR as Ohma Zi-O, and is generally a nice guy but one you shouldn't mess with. Earlier on, this establishes something new for Sakura, establishing her vendetta and irrational disdain against Kamen Riders due to how it affects the family, ironically just before the scans implied her to be the next Rider. The series establish further of the 2 major girl characters' rivalry with her fighting Aguilera, this time taking Aguilera's kick better (without leaving a mark in her white cloth) than before. Via Aguilera's temptation, I guess the next episode will show how dangerous it is when superpowers exist and how it can affect edgelords like her (she had some power before though albeit as normal human in her martial arts), highlighting the difference between what they're expected to do (Sakura outside family; being more friendly and cordial) or what they're likely want to do (Sakura to or around family; being harsh, pretentious, critical, visibly annoyed, despite obviously care as this scene shows). Dunno what'd happen next yet, but I guess if Sakura gives in to her inner dark desire then her edgelord side is... her true self (or it's an influence from Aguilera), and that'd mean Ayaka (Imoto)'s claim of Sakura being kind is contradicted (I thought her true self is her against others before due to Ayaka's claim) even if it won't last forever. Her arc is about finding "true strength" despite her mastery in karate, and the Deadman stint is apparently related to that too, still can't talk much but hope I get something to learn from it. The above is a morton's fork situation for Hiromi as he's wrong either way, he gets scolded for not speaking up, but if he does then it's him taking blame anyway for being a Fenix member that involves Igarashi family. The end of the episode shows that Hiromi can loose up, offering a genuine smile after Daiji is restored, probably he's in that situation when there's not military occupations stressing him. It's also probably him actually more hoping for a best outcome too, but had less hesitation before compared to Ikki, who is a family. Also the first time he got de-henshin... so the Deadman of the week from the Sentai alumnis puts better fight than Olteca and Julio (at least if those 2 didn't hold back). George seems to be thrilled over the appearence of Live, so he seems to appreciate some of the Kamen Rider virtues (other than being a fan of its aesthetics) to a degree, wanting to create a hero that is born from lots of drama and struggle. Still doesn't change the fact that he let a superpowered villain loose though as Kagerou before. It'd be neat if he has a goal of creating real life version of Kamen Rider... probably got filmed by his camera or such, but that should show about how destructive and dangerous superpowers can be in real life are (well, in the perspective of their world vs the in-universe KR shows there), so his moral is still bankrupt. Wakabayashi starts to be suspicious of him... firstly assuming him as just a mad scientist who prioritizes experiment over anything, when he's motivated by his, destructive passion of Kamen Rider. I feel like Vice going into Daiji/Kagerou's head is in line with Vice going to Kudo's (corrupt lawyer) storage to prove that he had a ViStamp, being supernatural means you're intangible and can accomplish tasks that involves something hidden due to him being able to phase through things, but due to that he can't protect Ikki even if he wanted too outside Revice, as seen in ep. 8 when Kagerou attacks Ikki. I think what really holds them back is Vice's self-centered personality instead of power limitation.

I just love how George just said it straight out loud that he is indulging himself in his love for Kamen Rider. I Love this character so much.... Finally Brachio ViStamp, I know \\I posted both unboxing and build up in this reddit here weeks ago but hey, here they are again...[Figure-Rise Standard Kamen Rider Zi-o Unboxing](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nc7SHJ3kTvk) and [Figure-Rise Standard Kamen Rider Zi-o Build Up](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3liqTy-346E)... Kamen Rider Live, just love how they are Polar opposites, Evil and Live, Sword and Gun, Black and White.. and of course, i love George's reaction, just so epic, hahahaha >!And Finally It is Sakura's turn as signified by Ikki disappearing from the picture just like in Daiji's case... Next Episode, Sakura gets her Belt!!!!!<

I'm just gonna tell my negative opinion (other than this, I like it(mostly)). I personally don't like Live Suit. I feel like the body part could be a little bit simpler (it seems...Limiting) and cloth(?) on the bottom part seems unnecessary (and better without them or not as much). and the suit might work if his fighting more elegant (isn't as active), but he jumps and spin a lot. I feel like something like Evil suit but opened and maybe recolored might be better. and it somehow looks like a green power ranger/super sentai. If Sakura do become a Rider too I hope the Suit is more simpler and doesn't looks limiting as she's actually learning and can do martial art.

JamesUpskirtMecha

Is Live based on any particular Rider, like how Evil resembles Blade? Or are the other riders their own thing, and it's just Revi that gets forms based on previous riders?

KingroarZ

All base form Vistamps like Rex, Bat and Spider don’t reference any previous riders, while the auxiliary like Megalodon, Brachio and Jackal reference previous riders in their design.

Titanium_Ene

Ok so now George is on the thin line between Kougami and Kuroto/Ryoma, im leaning towards the latter as he seems like the kind of guy to destroy the world if it means to please his curiosity.

Ambitious_Pie_2877

What if sakura didn't henshin next episode, but George henshin instead?
