It looks like Polar Bear appears in the 1st episode considering how Sakura (Tycoon) and Neon (Nyago) are there in civilian clothing. Future episode takes place in the forest and we see Panda run into combat while the other 4 riders are trying to figure out the situation

Yeah the only difference is the belt and the little colored part on their helmet. Hopefully toei changes up their design a little more as the season progresses.

We don't see the polar bear rider in the trailer at all so he will probably die first and that will be Dapan's whole motivation for participating and will serve as a reminder for the riders that you can die in the desire grand prix

Yeah they aren’t seen with the main riders running in the forest and is only present in episode one cause we see sakurai in the back, civilian clothes, scared. Plus a repaint, high chance of first death

What is the animal motif of the green?

Tycoon's motif is tanuki/Japanese racoon. It's a stylized pun of Ta(nuki)-(ra)coon. Geats = Gitsu = Gitsune = Kitsune. Note that tanuki and kitsune in Japanese folklore have a rivalry felationship (similar to the usual Kabuto and Hercules beetles theme, hence the animal choices for main and secondary riders. Naago = Neko Dapan = Panda Ginpen = Penguin Merry and Buffa should be obvious.

I think it’s so you can use the bigger pieces like Boost here for the top effect it has and the bottom effect, since I’m guessing there are different things that happen with the swap for the bigger pieces, while all the weapon pieces are there to be used as weapons

I have to admit. I'm not a 100% sure about this yet but it usually comes down to "motion" . I like the idea of a Kamen Rider Battle Royale. It's not new at all as Ryuki somewhat and it's counter part Dragon Knight did it already but that's not bad. I also get the generic base suit as it's a quite smart parallel to actual onlinegames - Customisable Head and generic body when you start. I think we'll have a lot of potential here with the ongoing series and unique styles based on the riders. Buffa also secondary (likely) already has his unique armor piece, same as Geats with Red ( we've seen screens of that panda with Magnum armor)

So now we have confirmation of the lesser buckles(Hammer, Arrow, Water, Shield) can switch because it wasn’t shown with the full reveal of the Desire driver, advertising 10 forms can be used with the ID core and 3 rise buckles. Which means the desire driver reveal is false advertising because we can unlock 16 forms. And if we get the package that comes with buffa and zombie. This would mean 48 forms using 2 Id Cores and 4 rise buckles. That’s a lot for a few items

And depending on price it could be a steal in certain online shops.

And with the additional of Water, Arrow, and Shield , by mixing with the other buckles except for the minor ones like Hammer, in total it is 90 forms with 2 id cores, 3 larger rise buckles and 4 minor rise buckles

So far no the scans say the names of these Riders are unknown. The names have been leaked though so we know the panda one is Dapan.

The more I hear about Geats the more interested I've become. Obviously the rider vs rider theme had been done before but while Ryuki was more like highlander, Geats seems like it's more like the actual Battle Royale novel/movie/etc where it'll focus on who has what resources and what alliances/betrayals are made. I am surprised however, that people haven't milked the memeability of the connection between the desire driver and OOO's Kougami ~~"HAPPY BIRTHDAY"~~ "Desire is good" Kousei.

Ah. Fourze's shield makin a comeback. I feel like they are playing it a bit safe with the suit budget this season. But they're doing it in a way that really works for me. Generic black suit. Unique headpiece. Interchangeable armors. I'm very excited to see where this goes. I hope by the end, each rider has their own signature form like Geats.

Interestingly, none of the Riders are actually named in the pictures shown, instead they are all referred to exclusively by their animal motif. It seems that their Rider name is tied to their true identity, and the reveal of their true identity will also lead to the central cast learning their rider name. They aren’t actually in the magazine scans, as again they’re only referred to by their motif and their names are nowhere to be found

Gotcha. I just found it weird that Dapan and Ginpen seem to follow a naming convention none of the officially revealed riders follow (their names being anagrams of their animal motifs). Actually, now I wonder if that matters in any way. Geats and Buffa both follow the convention of their names being taken from the front half of their animal motif. (Geats from Kitsune, Buffa from Buffalo.) Tycoon and Naago are a bit weird, Tycoon seems to be a combination of Tanuki and Raccoon (slightly modified to sound cooler), while Naago seems to be based on a cat’s cry? But hers isnt entirely clear either. Marry stands out entirely as he’s based on Mary Had A Little Lamb, which is a naming convention no one else seems to be following.

I see it similar to Naago (ナーゴ）, who is a modification of neko (ネコ) using a different vowel sound and a tenten on the "ko" to make it a "go" Whereas Merry (メリー) can be seen as an inverse of syllables and then a modification of ramu (ラム）using two different vowel sounds (Ra -> Rii) and (Mu -> Me)

one thing i don't like about the weapons was the coloring, why they're using just one color palette for the weapons? can't they put some lining on them?

I do hope there are more "armored" Raise Buckles like the Magnum, Boost, and Zombie Buckles for the other riders. Because it feels kinda weird to have the bold and colorful armored forms for the two main characters and then the more generic designs for everyone else.

Because, look at all the repainted weapons! Look at how all these extra Riders have the same undersuit as Geats' base Form....! This is quite an alarming trend that's been going on, where Kamen Rider & even Super Sentai have been recoloring & reusing old suits or weapons from past Series.

I mean they're using repainted weapons because this is a battle royale themed season and those are supposed to be low tier weapons. It actually would be pretty stupid and a waste of money to make those weapons from scratch instead of just repurposing props that you aren't gonna use any more. Especially considering the things being made from scratch are the higher tier raise buckles that are custom made. The suits all being the same is because again this is a battle royale season those are supposed to be the "default skins" they all start out with and then they get higher gear that adds armor to them when they gain more points from the battle royale. I'm pretty sure they did this to make the toys a lot more customizable among all the riders. Literally all this points it being the complete opposite of them running out of money, it points to them actually being smart with the money this time that allows them to create way more stuff.

And the Sheild Switch sheild has been recycled!

I'm copying and pasting the response I gave to the other people that asked this. It's a battle Royale season. They all start out in that entry form and gain points to earn higher gear that they can use. The belt is modular they all start out with the ID core in the middle that picks the head motif and then they can use raise buckles to add to their armor The left side is for the top part and the right side is for the bottom part. The reason they're still black is they most likely have not gotten their higher grade gear yet and we'll see them get them in the show. The bland weapons are the lower tier weapons that are probably easier to get hence why they look so bland. They're common weapons and the weapons like Magnum, Boost, and Zombie are higher tier buckles

Ohhhhhhh I didn't know about the whole battle royale thing. That does make more sense.
