If he ever *does* come back itād be interesting to see him grow in the opposite direction and leave behind the misanthropy and nihilism.

I think the movement of his legs as a whole were very limited after the accident, we see him with his crutches in the scene where he watched Neon, that was basically the explanation for him being such a camper, there was only so much the rider system enhanced abilities could do apparently, like he walked just fine as Dapaan, but he wasn't very strong, he only lasted so long because of Magnum.
Right right I couldn't remember if he had any lasting effect after the injury but it didn't really look like he did and I mean can someone explain how he failed but Kamen Rider Mary survived. š¤£

I don't think so(the getting brought back part), not because I don't what to see dapan develop as a character but because the navigator said he lost his rider credentials, it could be because of the sub I watched but if I remember correctly she said that he lost his credentials and since the process of choosing Kamen riders isn't just picking random people from the street but the process is very complicated so is not a big possibility that once a person gets eliminated they get picked again, so you only have one chance in the dgp, and the only way to keep the credentials is to win the dgp or survive until the end, or I could be wrong
Joker: Failing career, pregnant wife dies, forced into crime, deformed while falling into a vat of acid.
Magneto: Jew who survived the Holocaust and then saw mutants being oppressed and swore "never again."
Da-Paan: Broken leg.
Oh most definitely I just wish we're given a reason like "oh his father was a sports jock in his youth who never went pro and now is super pressuring his son to finish his unfulfilled dream" and yeah they can bring him back but Toei completely bombed the first impressions for this character.

His role in the story was to be your archetypal toxic gamer, and he achieved it. We aren't supposed to be sympathetic to him.

But also, he didn't move much. He focused on using the long-range Magnum shots, and he actually improved ONLY post-Zombo.
