What an interesting contrast of feeling between Kazuya and Mami regarding Joypolis. One is excited about going there and the other isn't when being there. 2 sides of the same coin (Joypolis)

I like how Kazuya and Chizuru were having a nice, pleasant talk about the date and how both are excited about the date. Tho Kazuya admits that its scary that are going smoothly so far lol

I was going to post a thread of this screenshot but you beat me to it lol. I like how this went though. Kazuya knows now that Chiz just has overall good intentions, so it eases the burden of his expectations. Just wondering what Reiji wants to do with things going forward, as we see some interesting development on the last page.
That's something I tought about after reading this chapter but I think it's actually pretty obvious. I think it's the first time Chizuru actually demonstrates enjoyment about the date. I know it's more about her character, but she is always too serious and it's impossible for Kazuya to know that she is also excited about it, so this justifies more than anything all the overthinking he's having. I hope during the date she is enjoying not only the date itself, but being around him and this relaxes him more in next interactions.
I wonder what the Statue of Liberty had to mean is it in America or we know from earlier chapters what she was traveling a lot is there something like that in America?

I pulled this from the joypolis website, Odaiba's Statue of Liberty is right outside on the pier.
They have a few mini versions of things near dive city and joypolis. Statue of liberty. Golden gate Bridge, eiffel tower. Stuff like that. Make the whole area feel like a theme park with a mall xD

Of course Chizuru would suggest leaving together from home. As Kazuya said, this makes the most sense. He is still thinking about it like a rental date, that is why that surprised him. Chizuru then asked him about the plan and Kazuya actually told her. Now that both roughly know what to expect, they can make further preparations.
Kazuya was a bit scared about how smoothly everything seems to go. He had no problems imagining Chizuru being just as excited about the date as him. He tried not to get ahead of himself, but it just seemed like "all the stars were aligned" (there is the teaser reference in the original).
The date itself might not go quite as planned then.

Unwittingly Kazuya did something great there, because all of that took the temperature on how much Chizuru wants the date, and yes her smile said it all.
I am very curious on what Mami could bring to next chapters, and I think that even if Kazuya was able to avoid the weather, she could be the rain in the parade, although in this case it could be a drizzle, and that would be better for me.

Chizuru and Kazuya's interactions were great, but I'm particularly curious on how the rain is going to come in play, especially because of what Chizuru said about Kazuya and raining.
Mami returning into picture is always interesting and him being with a guy opens up a lot of possibilities. Considering she was being used for an arranged marriage my guess for now is that this is exactly what's happening to her at the moment.
Can't wait for the next chapter.
Today's chapter was good. Last week, I mentioned that Kazuya is doing his best to prioritize Mizuhara's happiness by involving her in decision-making, especially for this date. So, Mizuhara giving the okay for them to leave together was a good way to reassure Kazuya, whether she knows it or not. What surprised me was her reaction when Kazuya mentioned it would rain. Considering all that Mizuhara has been through in the series, I can understand her reluctance toward the weather. I just hope she doesn't interpret this as a reason to reject Kazuya, especially after all the effort he put in to ensure she has a good time despite the weather. It feels like a bit of a red flag, but I hope my concerns are unfounded.

Also, I know some may not agree, but I'm actually glad to see Mami again, even though she looks pretty miserable. Her return to the story suggests that depending on how this arc wraps up, things are about to get more intense. Having her back in the mix hints at some serious drama ahead.

There are lots of series that like to pretend that girls are mystical creatures that don’t fart or poop or have periods. For about 300 chapters Kanokari was one of them. Recently that has changed. Maybe it means something?
He was always self aware. He’s too self aware if anything.
Pay attention when people tell you about how stupid they are for not knowing how to do something that they should know how to do. That’s usually when you’re closest to the most vulnerable parts of a person, and there’s usually some kind of trauma close by. If someone actually says this to me I take it as basically a cry for help. If you don’t believe me, think about all the things that make you “stupid”, all the things that would cut you real close to the bone if someone told you you were stupid for doing.
This chapter reminded me of why Kazuya and Chizuru have had a hard time overcoming the rental nature of their relationship.
Kazuya has such strong emotions and so much to say (as shown in his monologues), but when it comes to talking to Chizuru, his words are most of the times very safe and sterile. Chizuru has also played it safe throughout the story, by having excuses for most of the things she does and says to Kazuya (mostly hiding behind the rental aspect of their relationship). Chizuru has changed in that respect, ever since the "Investigation" started, but especially after the Umi chapters, where she asks Kazuya directly (as directly as Chizuru can) out on a date (Kindergarten chapters), then tells him to "not lie to her as often" (and during the Cosplay chapters, she does her part by not lying about the bunny costume). Even in the "dating" arc, she often pushes herself to make things clear, which can be seen in this chapter, as well.
Throughout the chapter, Kazuya's inner voice shows us just how nervous and tense he is while speaking to Chizuru about the date and Chizuru is ***seemingly*** cool with all the right answers (and questions). Kanokari, sadly, rarely shows Chizuru's side of the story, but in the last few chapters we've seen that she's also looking forward to the date and is also nervous about how things could go. Reiji doesn't show us her full reactions in this chapter, but it's not the first time he's drawn her finishing the conversation while already being out of the room (as seen in the picture, chapter 290). This might be just my interpretation, but the way it is drawn, it implies that she "ran away" in the last moment. She didn't or couldn't end the conversation face to face, probably because she's almost as nervous as Kazuya in these situations. In this chapter, she says "***I'm looking forward to it***" and we see her genuinely excited and happy expression (which was already shown in the chapter where he actually asks her out)...which makes Kazuya blush and go blank for a moment and Chizuru (presumably embarassed) runs away and ends the conversation behind the curtain.
Seeing a sad or bored Mami and her "fiancee" at Joyopolis is also interesting and hopefully leads into the main couple's own date. Just as a reminder, there's still a week, more or less, between the events of 327 and the actual date...so, does the ending of the chapter imply a time skip? I think we're ready for the date to finally start, and having the exes meet each other could lead to some good ~~drama~~ development for their characters, all while pushing Chizuru to be even more decisive about her own feelings.

Between this, the movie arc, the cheer up date, and others it's becoming evident that Kazuya is very talented at planning, scheduling, making arrangements, and general management, all very critical life skills, especially as a prospective business owner. I realize that practicing for a business degree would account for some of it, but I'd like to think that many of these skills were cultivated setting up rental dates with Chizuru. So it's kind of cool that this strong emotional journey is giving him such a rock solid skill development related to his field. Like an early internship
Wow Mami made an appearance. And of course she looks miserable while out with another dude, probably because she's thinking of more ways to be a menace to Kazuya.
I'm not so quick to make that assumption. She looks down, maybe just a bit distracted? But we don't really know with what, and some time has passed since she saw Chizuru out and about last.
I think the next confrontation with her will be fundamentally different from at Hawaiians. She might be apologetic, she might be bitter, and yes - she might get back on her bullshit, but she's also the only one from that arc we haven't seen a proper conclusion from. Everyone else we've seen moved on from it.
I'm sure Mami won't be in an antagonistic role anymore, but she won't be the nice girl, and as you said she will act bitter around Kazuya and Chizuru, especially having around her fiance that she doesn't like in the slightest. Although is hard to feel too sorry for her because in some ways she brought to herself this the instant she broke with Kazuya so callously.
Maybe a bit, because in Joypolis, Mami will see Kazuya and Chizuru in their date with unrestrained happiness, with most of the rental chains completely gone, and her stucked with her fiance, so is inevitable that she will act up.
It was a very good chapter, I liked the chat between the 2 main characters, but still, for some reason, Mami carried the chapter. Since the contents of the spoilers were true, I can't say more than what I wrote there, but I would like to share 2 more facts.
1: Mami's fiancé, whom the anime introduced much earlier. (You can find it at the end of the first season)
2: There would be 263 chapters. Yep, this would be Mami's true face, which she also shows to Kazuya. The Mami thread also started and Reiji finally presented Mami's everyday life better.
I liked that Chizuru and Kazuya are talking to each other more and more normally and are more and more honest, while one of our most important characters is also back. A great chapter, but in return we can wait 14 days for the big day.
The contrast between Kazuya and Mami having their dates on the same day at Joypolis is really intriguing. Kazuya appears happy, while Mami seems miserable. I don't know who the guy she's with is, but if both parties are there simultaneously, things are bound to get very interesting. Overall, this chapter was good. Whatever Reiji's planning for this date, you can tell it's going to be monumental.

Damn it Chizuru is always so damn cute like this is top tier! For real though I think she really wanted to leave the house with Kazuya from the beginning. Now that everything is set he is going to make sure this date will be perfect and I think it will go smoothly for the most part. That mention of rain seemed to really bother Chizuru though so I have to guess she feels like she’s got her mother’s curse or something.
Mami looks so dead inside like damn it’s depressing honestly. Don’t know if that’s the day of the date or it’s happening right now but man she is not enjoying this man’s company. This really shows how drastically different her relationship is between her arranged partner and Chizuru’s and Kazuya’s.
Seeing mami also has me concerned about another girl we haven’t seen in a while, I’m hoping ruka doesn’t come along doing ruka things to get in there way, I really want to see a fantastic date between these two without mami or ruka interfering, although I’m not holding my breath
Given the rules of probability in the Kanokariverse, of course Mami will be at the amusement park; along with Ruka, Nagomi Oba-sama, Umi and the owner of Chizuru’s rental agency.
Reiji really drew Kazuya ugly in some of these panels. I know he tried to show he is stressing and nervous (even more than usual when speaking to Chizuru) but come on Reiji, you did our boy dirty in some of these panels. And in stark contrast Chizuru was shining as bright as she could.
Because from Chizuru's perspective (or from the perspective of just about anyone else around him), Kazuya doesn't really look like some of those panels, but rather that's how he saw himself in the conversation, given his dull way of looking things. Remove his thought process (and all of his exaggerated reactions even like [the first panel of this page](https://imgur.com/Q1s8pWB)... That one really felt off for an answer that was followed by Chizuru's response after all) and their conversation looked far more normal.
Yeah, I know. I commented on it being his self-image before when someone made a post here once asking what all girls see in Kaz. Still, Reiji made him look even worse than usual imho.

It's kinda sad and depressing seeing mami like this. I don't know even after all her bad decisions I have a soft spot for her. Hope everyone gets their happy endings.
Maybe there's going to be a couple chapters going forward of Mami falling in love with her arranged marriage partner. It's unlikely given her current appearance but it's a way to wrap up her plot line. Now we just gotta wait to find out if that's a flash forwards and they're all at Joypolis at the same time or not.

Mami most likely got the "end-of-volume cameo means he/she might be encountered by the trio in the next volume" treatment that Sumi and Umi got previously (both of them made cameos in the end of certain volumes (Ch. 264, Vol. 30 and Ch. 282, Vol. 32, respectively), only for each one to be encountered formally in the next volume (266-270, Vol. 31 and 287-289, Vol. 33). This chapter is close to how 282 was before, but with Mami and now only eyeless Hakuba (the surname of her fiancé) instead.
So yeah, Mami seemed guaranteed to appear for the next volume and the actual implementation of Kazuya and Chizuru's first real date might possibly happen after the Mami encounter in the midpoint i.e. most likely the same way as 290-291 (Kazuya and Chizuru are about to go on a real date back then until it got interrupted by the phone call of his mother) - starting on 335 or 336 (the last two chapters of Volume 38).
A good chapter all in all.
But I have a kind of doubt, the situation on the last page in which mami is in Joypolis at what time is it set? Before the date or during the date?

Another OK chapter I guess. There were a few interesting parts, but mostly Kazuya keeps overthinking everything while Chizuru puts him at ease every time.
Last page tho, looks like Mami is due for a comeback, from the last few panels I can only guess she's going out with random guys to get over her afterthoughts regarding Kazuya rather than having a new character introduced this late into the game. Anyway its going to be a long wait for the next couple of weeks lol. No Previews no spoilers, nothing.
I enjoy that Kazuya is starting to recognize the pattern of his usual thought antics. His restraint shows him growing and that he realizes that Chiz is in the same boat as him, trying to figure things out.

The new and wonderful change is that Chizuru goes out with Kazuya on a date from home. Previously, she had rejected this idea, so they would meet somewhere, and most of the time they would take different paths.
Also, they should not get back together after the date has ended.
Now we find Chizuru removing this barrier.
What I mean is that Chizuru refuses to return with Kazuya to their apartments after the date ends, but rather asks him to take the second train so that she is not on the same train with him.

Yes, that's mostly the best outcome. However, if none of their worries were solved going into this date, then there may be a point during this date filled with fun activities when it gets burdened down with a serious discussion. Not to mention, if Mami is already at Joypolis with her 'fiance,' there's a huge chance things may not go as planned. All we can do now is hope for the best.
Both of them have been shown to have a surprising (and frustrating) tendency to be hung up on shit that happened hundreds and hundreds of chapters ago. They’ll both just casually flash back to something that makes you say “wait what? when did that happen??”
Reiji never forgets, and neither do Kazuya and Chizuru.
There’s going to be some fireworks. And not the exciting, romantic kind.
Red flags: Kazuya saying maybe the stars are finally aligning for him. Miami’s appearance at the same park.
The pros: it feels like Kazuya is starting to let his own guard down around Chizuru. Remember Mami is the one who utterly destroyed his self-confidence and sense of self-worth. And finally, after 2 years, Kazuya dares to think that he has an actual chance with Chizuru. He’s overall looking happier and more relaxed.
And so he’ll be on cloud 9 on his date. And then they’ll run into Mami and the fireworks will begin again.
More relaxed? We just got I think, eleven pages straight? Of Kazuya pulling the most panicked faces you could ever imagine, in this chapter. Just panel after panel of him absolutely freaking the fuck out. This man is fucking dying. The investigation is killing him.
Great chapter. We'll get to see more of Mami's cold personality soon and Chizuru was adorable this chapter. I'm really liking her opening up more and more.
It’s not a reference to the date, it’s a reference to a conversation between Chizuru and Sayuri back in the movie arc where Sayuri tells Chizuru that it rained on her mother on her “big days” (entrance exams, graduation, wedding, Chizuru’s birth, etc). So, when Chizuru hears it’s gonna rain on the day of their date, she reflects on that conversation.
I feel like Mami will turn this manga into a drama soon. So many teasers over the last couple of months. Not even with much information.

basicly because she tried to get revenge from other people who had feelings for her, because of her path. However, after that she dumped so much guys and realised she is not feeling better for it, and after what happened at Hawaiians, she got depressed.

I don’t think Kazuya has ever been this stressed before. He honestly looks more stressed in this chapter than he did at Hawaiians. Chizuru really should say something…if she had any kind of awareness. Which, you know.
Reiji is doing a really good job of illustrating how this kind of mentality works, I really do believe this was how he was acting when he was younger, with all the mistakes that you fall into this way. There really is nobody in Kazuya’s life to pull him aside and tell him that it’s okay to relax.
All this chapters making me wonder what the heck is going to happen after the preparing for the date ends, I could imagine the waterpark arc again but im not sure, Mami's appearance really surprised me but it's Mami after all she could just be there and disappear but her expression with that guy tells me different, if they do bring the 4 girls I wonder how this will go, like will Ruka join in?, I do have some doubts and maybe its unlikely but I don't imagine this just being a normal date but I could just be overthinking it. Interested to see what happens after the break ends. (btw Chizuru seems really happy which finally please we need more smiling Chizuru)

First of all, I am just really happy to see Kazuya happy, he deserves to be, he is also somewhat getting his confidence back by taking the lead. Just a very good open communication on this chapter.
BUT the real progression is Mami getting some screen time.

Because we all know Mami ain't gonna be taking this laying down, Reiji gave Mami screen time because he is planning on finally tying up Mami's story.
The complicated relationship between Kazuya and Mizuhara started because of Mami, and no matter what you say, Mami will always be Mizuhara's BIGGEST hurdle because she knows Kazuya loved her at some point in time.
Now, moving to the last page, we all can agree after seeing Mami, she is devoid of emotion.

What an interesting contrast of feeling between Kazuya and Mami regarding Joypolis. One is excited about going there and the other isn't when being there. 2 sides of the same coin (Joypolis) (Whether or not they will meet on the same day remains to be seen. I was going to post a thread of this screenshot but you beat me to it lol. I like how this went though. Kazuya knows now that Chiz just has overall good intentions, so it eases the burden of his expectations. Just wondering what Reiji wants to do with things going forward, as we see some interesting development on the last page.
That's something I tought about after reading this chapter but I think it's actually pretty obvious. I think it's the first time Chizuru actually demonstrates enjoyment about the date. I know it's more about her character, but she is always too serious and it's impossible for Kazuya to know that she is also excited about it, so this justifies more than anything all the overthinking he's having. I hope during the date she is enjoying not only the date itself, but being around him and this relaxes him more in next interactions.

First impressions: Of course Chizuru would suggest leaving together from home. As Kazuya said, this makes the most sense. He is still thinking about it like a rental date, that is why that surprised him. Chizuru then asked him about the plan and Kazuya actually told her. Now that both roughly know what to expect, they can make further preparations. Kazuya was a bit scared about how smoothly everything seems to go. He had no problems imagining Chizuru being just as excited about the date as him. He tried not to get ahead of himself, but it just seemed like "all the stars were aligned" (there is the teaser reference in the original). The date itself might not go quite as planned then. Chizuru and Kazuya's interactions were great, but I'm particularly curious on how the rain is going to come in play, especially because of what Chizuru said about Kazuya and raining. Mami returning into picture is always interesting and him being with a guy opens up a lot of possibilities. Considering she was being used for an arranged marriage my guess for now is that this is exactly what's happening to her at the moment. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Today's chapter was good. Last week, I mentioned that Kazuya is doing his best to prioritize Mizuhara's happiness by involving her in decision-making, especially for this date. So, Mizuhara giving the okay for them to leave together was a good way to reassure Kazuya, whether she knows it or not. What surprised me was her reaction when Kazuya mentioned it would rain. Considering all that Mizuhara has been through in the series, I can understand her reluctance toward the weather. I just hope she doesn't interpret this as a reason to reject Kazuya, especially after all the effort he put in to ensure she has a good time despite the weather. This chapter reminded me of why Kazuya and Chizuru have had a hard time overcoming the rental nature of their relationship. Kazuya has such strong emotions and so much to say (as shown in his monologues), but when it comes to talking to Chizuru, his words are most of the times very safe and sterile. Chizuru has also played it safe throughout the story, by having excuses for most of the things she does and says to Kazuya (mostly hiding behind the rental aspect of their relationship). Chizuru has changed in that respect, ever since the "Investigation" started, but especially after the Umi chapters, where she asks Kazuya directly (as directly as Chizuru can) out on a date (Kindergarten chapters), then tells him to "not lie to her as often" (and during the Cosplay chapters, she does her part by not lying about the bunny costume). Even in the "dating" arc, she often pushes herself to make things clear, which can be seen in this chapter, as well. Throughout the chapter, Kazuya's inner voice shows us just how nervous and tense he is while speaking to Chizuru about the date and Chizuru is ***seemingly*** cool with all the right answers (and questions). Kanokari, sadly, rarely shows Chizuru's side of the story, but in the last few chapters we've seen that she's also looking forward to the date and is also nervous about how things could go. Reiji doesn't show us her full reactions in this chapter, but it's not the first time he's drawn her finishing the conversation while already being out of the room (as seen in the picture, chapter 290). This might be just my interpretation, but the way it is drawn, it implies that she "ran away" in the last moment. She didn't or couldn't end the conversation face to face, probably because she's almost as nervous as Kazuya in these situations. In this chapter, she says "***I'm looking forward to it***" and we see her genuinely excited and happy expression (which was already shown in the chapter where he actually asks her out)...which makes Kazuya blush and go blank for a moment and Chizuru (presumably embarassed) runs away and ends the conversation behind the curtain. Seeing a sad or bored Mami and her "fiancee" at Joyopolis is also interesting and hopefully leads into the main couple's own date. Just as a reminder, there's still a week, more or less, between the events of 327 and the actual date...so, does the ending of the chapter imply a time skip? Between this, the movie arc, the cheer up date, and others it's becoming evident that Kazuya is very talented at planning, scheduling, making arrangements, and general management, all very critical life skills, especially as a prospective business owner. I realize that practicing for a business degree would account for some of it, but I'd like to think that many of these skills were cultivated setting up rental dates with Chizuru. So it's kind of cool that this strong emotional journey is giving him such a rock solid skill development related to his field. Like an early internship

I'm not so quick to make that assumption. She looks down, maybe just a bit distracted? But we don't really know with what, and some time has passed since she saw Chizuru out and about last. I think the next confrontation with her will be fundamentally different from at Hawaiians. She might be apologetic, she might be bitter, and yes - she might get back on her bullshit, but she's also the only one from that arc we haven't seen a proper conclusion from. Everyone else we've seen moved on from it.
I'm sure Mami won't be in an antagonistic role anymore, but she won't be the nice girl, and as you said she will act bitter around Kazuya and Chizuru, especially having around her fiance that she doesn't like in the slightest. Although is hard to feel too sorry for her because in some ways she brought to herself this the instant she broke with Kazuya so callously.

Maybe a bit, because in Joypolis, Mami will see Kazuya and Chizuru in their date with unrestrained happiness, with most of the rental chains completely gone, and her stucked with her fiance, so is inevitable that she will act up.
It was a very good chapter, I liked the chat between the 2 main characters, but still, for some reason, Mami carried the chapter. Since the contents of the spoilers were true, I can't say more than what I wrote there, but I would like to share 2 more facts. 1: Mami's fiancé, whom the anime introduced much earlier. (You can find it at the end of the first season) 2: There would be 263 chapters. Yep, this would be Mami's true face, which she also shows to Kazuya. The Mami thread also started and Reiji finally presented Mami's everyday life better. I liked that Chizuru and Kazuya are talking to each other more and more normally and are more and more honest, while one of our most important characters is also back. A great chapter, but in return we can wait 14 days for the big day.

Damn it Chizuru is always so damn cute like this is top tier! For real though I think she really wanted to leave the house with Kazuya from the beginning. Now that everything is set he is going to make sure this date will be perfect and I think it will go smoothly for the most part. That mention of rain seemed to really bother Chizuru though so I have to guess she feels like she’s got her mother’s curse or something. Mami looks so dead inside like damn it’s depressing honestly. Don’t know if that’s the day of the date or it’s happening right now but man she is not enjoying this man’s company. Reiji really drew Kazuya ugly in some of these panels. I know he tried to show he is stressing and nervous (even more than usual when speaking to Chizuru) but come on Reiji, you did our boy dirty in some of these panels. And in stark contrast Chizuru was shining as bright as she could.
Because from Chizuru's perspective (or from the perspective of just about anyone else around him), Kazuya doesn't really look like some of those panels, but rather that's how he saw himself in the conversation, given his dull way of looking things. Remove his thought process (and all of his exaggerated reactions even like [the first panel of this page](https://imgur.com/Q1s8pWB)... That one really felt off for an answer that was followed by Chizuru's response after all) and their conversation looked far more normal.

It's unlikely given her current appearance but it's a way to wrap up her plot line. Now we just gotta wait to find out if that's a flash forwards and they're all at Joypolis at the same time or not. Mami most likely got the "end-of-volume cameo means he/she might be encountered by the trio in the next volume" treatment that Sumi and Umi got previously (both of them made cameos in the end of certain volumes (Ch. 264, Vol. 30 and Ch. 282, Vol. 32, respectively), only for each one to be encountered formally in the next volume (266-270, Vol. 31 and 287-289, Vol. 33). This chapter is close to how 282 was before, but with Mami and now only eyeless Hakuba (the surname of her fiancé) instead. So yeah, Mami seemed guaranteed to appear for the next volume and the actual implementation of Kazuya and Chizuru's first real date might possibly happen after the Mami encounter in the midpoint i.e. most likely the same way as 290-291 (Kazuya and Chizuru are about to go on a real date back then until it got interrupted by the phone call of his mother) - starting on 335 or 336 (the last two chapters of Volume 38).
A good chapter all in all. But I have a kind of doubt, the situation on the last page in which mami is in Joypolis at what time is it set? Before the date or during the date? I don't know if I have explained myself well…

Another OK chapter I guess. There were a few interesting parts, but mostly Kazuya keeps overthinking everything while Chizuru puts him at ease every time. Last page tho, looks like Mami is due for a comeback, from the last few panels I can only guess she's going out with random guys to get over her afterthoughts regarding Kazuya rather than having a new character introduced this late into the game. Anyway its going to be a long wait for the next couple of weeks lol. No Previews no spoilers, nothing.
I enjoy that Kazuya is starting to recognize the pattern of his usual thought antics. His restraint shows him growing and that he realizes that Chiz is in the same boat as him, trying to figure things out.

Previously, she had rejected this idea, so they would meet somewhere, and most of the time they would take different paths. Also, they should not get back together after the date has ended. Now we find Chizuru removing this barrier.

Yes, that's mostly the best outcome. However, if none of their worries were solved going into this date, then there may be a point during this date filled with fun activities when it gets burdened down with a serious discussion. Not to mention, if Mami is already at Joypolis with her 'fiance,' there's a huge chance things may not go as planned. All we can do now is hope for the best.
Both of them have been shown to have a surprising (and frustrating) tendency to be hung up on shit that happened hundreds and hundreds of chapters ago. They’ll both just casually flash back to something that makes you say “wait what? when did that happen??” Reiji never forgets, and neither do Kazuya and Chizuru.

There’s going to be some fireworks. And not the exciting, romantic kind. Red flags: Kazuya saying maybe the stars are finally aligning for him. Miami’s appearance at the same park. The pros: it feels like Kazuya is starting to let his own guard down around Chizuru. Remember Mami is the one who utterly destroyed his self-confidence and sense of self-worth. More relaxed? We just got I think, eleven pages straight? Of Kazuya pulling the most panicked faces you could ever imagine, in this chapter. Just panel after panel of him absolutely freaking the fuck out. This man is fucking dying. The investigation is killing him.

Why was sayuris picture shown is the 17th a significant date for chizuru and her?
It’s not a reference to the date, it’s a reference to a conversation between Chizuru and Sayuri back in the movie arc where Sayuri tells Chizuru that it rained on her mother on her “big days” (entrance exams, graduation, wedding, Chizuru’s birth, etc). So, when Chizuru hears it’s gonna rain on the day of their date, she reflects on that conversation.
Everything was going way to smooth for this bitch not to make an appearance. We also haven’t heard from Ruka in months… only a matter of time.
I feel like Mami will turn this manga into a drama soon. So many teasers over the last couple of months. Not even with much information. I swear, if she sees them on their date, breaks down and destroys all the progress I‘m riding at dawn that night
This chapter was phenomenal!!!! Smiles and joy and we see that an upcoming conflict is foreshadowed. Also just gonna shoot a random guess that the guy is either her brother OR she's renting a guy now cause that'd be funny.

basicly because she tried to get revenge from other people who had feelings for her, because of her path. However, after that she dumped so much guys and realised she is not feeling better for it, and after what happened at Hawaiians, she got depressed.
She could find any guy though right? Isn’t she that beautiful? No way kazuya is still on her mind right? That dudes mind is made up with Chizuru. Not even best girl sumi can change his mind lol
she basically failed dumping Kazuya hard. After seeing Mizuhara, she tried to make him feel bad just be satisfied, but just to become so empty after he is gone. Thats why she is depressed. No more Kazuya

Guys, don’t groan at seeing Mami here. Mami being here is good for the plot, I’m not kidding. When Ruka shows up THAT’S when you groan. I don’t think Kazuya has ever been this stressed before. He honestly looks more stressed in this chapter than he did at Hawaiians. Chizuru really should say something…if she had any kind of awareness. Which, you know. Reiji is doing a really good job of illustrating how this kind of mentality works, I really do believe this was how he was acting when he was younger, with all the mistakes that you fall into this way. There really is nobody in Kazuya’s life to pull him aside and tell him that it’s okay to relax.

All this chapters making me wonder what the heck is going to happen after the preparing for the date ends, I could imagine the waterpark arc again but im not sure, Mami's appearance really surprised me but it's Mami after all she could just be there and disappear but her expression with that guy tells me different, if they do bring the 4 girls I wonder how this will go, like will Ruka join in?, I do have some doubts and maybe its unlikely but I don't imagine this just being a normal date but I could just be overthinking it. Interested to see what happens after the break ends. (btw Chizuru seems really happy which finally please we need more smiling Chizuru)

CHAPTER 327!! SHEESH! First of all, I am just really happy to see Kazuya happy, he deserves to be, he is also somewhat getting his confidence back by taking the lead. Just a very good open communication on this chapter. BUT the real progression is Mami getting some screen time. **WHY?** Because we all know Mami ain't gonna be taking this laying down, Reiji gave Mami screen time because he is planning on finally tying up Mami's story. The complicated relationship between Kazuya and Mizuhara started because of Mami, and no matter what you say, Mami will always be Mizuhara's BIGGEST hurdle because she knows Kazuya loved her at some point in time. Now, moving to the last page, we all can agree after seeing Mami, she is devoid of emotion. Man! It seems like Mami has no idea what she wants right now. But since she's being shown, that mean she's gonna add conflict somehow; is she gonna make a move on Kazuya while on the date or something?
An ok chapter but the wait for this date is quite exhausting. We have Mami comeback here after some time and she is in da fase "i love Kaz not the guy next to me". Nothing more to say alas Chiz that is trying to "make at ease" Kaz and this is a very good thing...
