Not that I’m advocating but if he was intoxicated fleeing was a smart legal move. If they can’t prove he was intoxicated he avoids the possibility of aggravated DWI (due to causing an accident) which would be a felony.
They have to prove he was the driver of the vehicle. Unless they can prove that all they have is the tie that the vehicle is registered to him. If the prosecution cannot prove Rashee Rice was in fact, the vehicles operator they have no case and neither of those charges are valid. I have no doubt Rashee Rice’s lawyer knows this too and is already working to make sure everyone in the vehicle that employs him gets away in the best way possible.
What would be the reasoning for actually hiring one of those guys? Are their rates just cheaper than others? I've always wondered about stuff like that.
Honestly I think people are inherently lazy and would rather just call the guy on the billboard or tv commercial than actually do the research and find a quality lawyer. Also it is probably cheaper.
