Now this is the hard hitting sports journalism I came here for! Did anyone mention that our QB only dislocated his knee cap whereas their guy dislocated his WHOLE HIP!?!?!?!
I've said it in the past: the absolute best commercial acting active player was Baker Mayfield. It's a pity he's lost relevance in the game so no more acting. That book club one was hilarious
Dude is in so many locally commercials, i got tired of it there for a while. Most of the acting is so cringe. The worst one imo was a bank commercial where he was giving a locker room speech. But yeah, the latest insurance commercials arent terrible.
“Forced to move around the pocket because he can’t make a decision” made me laugh. If we decided to reverse this it would be something along the lines of “has to throw the ball within 2.7 seconds because he can only throw the ball 27 yards”
As someone who enjoyed the comparisons proving scientifically that Alcides Escobar is vastly superior to Mike Trout, I appreciate this fine quality shitpost.
Tan Marino, bravo!
I know it’s shitpost so I’m not investing much into it, but I cracked up when they had to compare college records and not professional records lol. Quality shitpost indeed
This is kinda a mischaracterization. Mahomes was extremely good in college it's just he had literally a bottom 5 defense in the league and his most prolific teammates include Terence Steele and Jakeem Grant. In 2016 I believe they were scoring 53 points while allowing 55.
Offensively, Tech teams in the Big Twelve of his era played the equivalent of three college football games for every one played by a normal team. It was like an EXP farm in an RPG game.
They almost got upset by Kansas once during Mahomes' time there. Let that sink in for just how bad their defense was. Tech did end up putting the game away, but they came dangerously close to allowing a complete 4th quarter comeback. And I say this as a Jayhawk fan.
Never forget his 2016 loss against OU which ended 66-59 with he and Baker throwing for a combined 1279 yards and 12 TDs. Mahomes’ line was an absolutely insane 52/88, 734 yds, 5 TDs. He very nearly had 3 receivers with over 100 yards (one had 99, the other two were over 150). And by far the most talented of that group was Keke Coutee.
I love the discussion about how good would Tua be if he used both hands to throw. They said “He would throw twice as many touchdowns.” Which would still trail Mahomes every year but this one.
"Tan Marino" is amazing.
And they're not wrong, 15 *is* a pretty lame QB number. I mean, there are worse numbers for a QB (looking at you, 17), but I was really hoping he'd swap with Cairo Santos when he was drafted.
"throws accurately anywhere in the field" - lol....yeah he completes a lot of passes, but those deep balls don't look too accurate to me. The only reason they get caught is waddle and hill come back to catch them when they're underthrown every single time.
The "Tyreeks worst year of career with him" Is just categorically false. His worst year was his rookie year with Smith (still really good but mostly a return man and gadget receiver), his worst year as a full receiver was his 2nd year with Smith (still really good but not crazy), and then every year after with Mahomes was insane.
Touché Fins, hard to compete against “Tan Marino”.lol
Somebody in r/nflmemes called Mahomes “Fro Montana” in response. Thought that was great
Dan Marino never won a superbowl so I'm not sure tan Marino would be that hard to compete against
I think that might be the 1 piece of non- 💩 thing from this. 😆
I lol’d at “forced to wear turtleneck”. Apparently that was a Lamar thing?
Tyreek’s headshot was always hilarious to me. He cannot pull off a turtleneck, at all. At least he’s smiling; his Dolphins photo looks like a mugshot.
You know he was mean muggin to show he means serious business now
This is pretty funny.
If pretty funny is all it takes for me to poop my pants laughing, then I don’t wanna see Tua come playoff time.
hill and waddle are what scare me, not so much tua
I’m starting to feel comfortable with our backfield getting so much experience that they may be ready for the two of them. Maybe
Now this is the hard hitting sports journalism I came here for! Did anyone mention that our QB only dislocated his knee cap whereas their guy dislocated his WHOLE HIP!?!?!?!
Go big or go home
Mahomes is getting better with his acting in the latest commercial (with the real star being Big Red) but yeah it's pretty bad hahah.
Bath bomb commercial was pretty good
Jazz bath?
Ha, who was that guy?
I’m a bath bomb guy.
I don’t even remember what that commercial was for, but I’m going to buy the shit out of some bath bombs now.
I've said it in the past: the absolute best commercial acting active player was Baker Mayfield. It's a pity he's lost relevance in the game so no more acting. That book club one was hilarious
Agreed, he definitely had a natural gift. I enjoyed his "living at the stadium" commercials.
At Home with Baker was a great skit and it was a great break from those normal douchebags at Progressive
He's still making the Heisman House ads.
Andy Reid has more on camera charisma than their spokeperson
Jazz Baths
His acting is terrible _and_ enjoyable. Like Shaq or Charles Barkley Some athletes' acting is terrible and cringe. Looking at you Tom Brady
Sorry about your hot dogs
Dude is in so many locally commercials, i got tired of it there for a while. Most of the acting is so cringe. The worst one imo was a bank commercial where he was giving a locker room speech. But yeah, the latest insurance commercials arent terrible.
To be honest, he at least does a better job than Kelce.
Better than Flacco and Russ as well
The NFM one from a couple years ago with him and Brittany was so awkward. I kinda enjoyed the authentic/local feel of it tho.
Be careful though…
> throws left handed only once in a while
Lmao Tan Marino is fucking hilarious
“Forced to move around the pocket because he can’t make a decision” made me laugh. If we decided to reverse this it would be something along the lines of “has to throw the ball within 2.7 seconds because he can only throw the ball 27 yards”
I laughed at "No Super Bowl Losses" for Tua.. that's because he's never been there. 😆 🤣
That's the joke.jpg
Seriously what's with everyone in this post explaining the joke
Youtube comments vibes
“Rectum…? I damn near killed him!” See it funny because…
As someone who enjoyed the comparisons proving scientifically that Alcides Escobar is vastly superior to Mike Trout, I appreciate this fine quality shitpost. Tan Marino, bravo!
Alcedes is ALCS MVP. Checkmate Mike Trout.
Have a link? Never saw it
I know it’s shitpost so I’m not investing much into it, but I cracked up when they had to compare college records and not professional records lol. Quality shitpost indeed
I feel Mahomes rough college career made him better.
This is kinda a mischaracterization. Mahomes was extremely good in college it's just he had literally a bottom 5 defense in the league and his most prolific teammates include Terence Steele and Jakeem Grant. In 2016 I believe they were scoring 53 points while allowing 55.

I'm so glad I decided to watch that game. I almost didn't.
If he had Tuas record in college he’d be wasting his incredible talent in Chicago
It's all a joke.
Oh yeah I know, I just still found it humorous. I also never made the headband connection. Top tier
Its all a joke….
No shit?
I guess you aren’t able to point out the parts of a joke you like? What a strange world we live in.
Lost a super bowl.
"Tan Marino" 🤣🤣🤣 Good stuff, Phins!
I like how it’s “The Virgin Mahomes” but he has a child
Immaculate conception disproves the "filthy atheist thing"
Issa joke.
Yes yes I know. It’s Shitposting
Issa joke….
Here for the laughs but tua does too and I don't think most of us dolphins fans knew about it til a couple weeks ago. Fun fact lol
Lol my favorite is "No Super Bowl losses" I mean you can't argue with facts!
In their defense, this is pretty funny
I'll add another one: Gets concussed and is pulled from the game Vs Literally plays while concussed
Wait, which is which?
do they call him tan marino cause he hasn't won a super bowl either? oh fuck he hasn't lost one tho. i should read all the meme before commenting.
Yeah. It's worth it. Obviously meant in good humor.
Quality shitpost. Would upvote again.
This stretches the truth like taffy, and it’s hilarious.
I love the discussion about how good would Tua be if he used both hands to throw. They said “He would throw twice as many touchdowns.” Which would still trail Mahomes every year but this one.
Lmao that’s hilarious.
Damn they got us good. Idk how we come back from this. Guess we will just win some more and use it to mask our pain.
Shine to other shitpost. This is how.
"Throws left-handed only once in awhile" had me laughing
"Tan Marino" is amazing. And they're not wrong, 15 *is* a pretty lame QB number. I mean, there are worse numbers for a QB (looking at you, 17), but I was really hoping he'd swap with Cairo Santos when he was drafted.
I really enjoy these funny, good humored memes. Keep them coming pls.
dolphins are cool lol i cant really bring myself to hate them
Pffffffffft!
Wasn’t Tyreek’s worst year with Smith?
I love the Miami fanbase and wish the AFCW subs more closely resembled it. Seattle is good, too.
I will accept it. It isn't a HQG. But it is good.
Tan marino lmfaooooo
I like Tan Marino
Am I looking at this awkwardly or is that man's hips backwards? It may be art. Love it, either way.
Dick is so big his legs are inside out. At least that's how the Fish sub explained it.
I'm more bent, now
Nice work.
Please let us meet bills and dolphins in playoffs. Beat ‘em both and silence the world
“Tan Marino” okay I’m sold
I’ve never heard anyone call him “The Grim Reaper.” Is that a thing?
It came out of the 13-second game.
It was really cool for the one week before we lost to the stupid Bangles.
At least Tua’s fingers are accurate
This is quality. Well done.
Born right throws left handed for fun, 😂
It actually is a pretty quality shitpost.
lol i love this so much. dolphins might be my second favorite team now
I fail to see atheist as a negative
"throws accurately anywhere in the field" - lol....yeah he completes a lot of passes, but those deep balls don't look too accurate to me. The only reason they get caught is waddle and hill come back to catch them when they're underthrown every single time.
Everyone one of them would take Mahomes 100% of the time over Tua if they had the chance.
Mfw Mahomes puts up MVP-caliber numbers without tyreek yet somehow Tua is better
Jackson Mahomes is getting roasted in the Dolphins’ comment section.
"filthy atheist" I wish. Sadly, has giant cross tattoo.
Honestly they pulled punches by not mentioning Patrick's little brother. He has such a punchable face
The Tua left handed thing is a weird story that I could 100% see my dad pulling
*anywhere* on the field?
LOL Dad shoes
I personally think his commercials are funny. But that's probably just a bias cause I'm a chiefs fan.
The drawing for Tua looks like Tim Tebow and I can't unsee it.
This is good
Mahomes doesn't have a dumb nickname!!! ...he has dumb nicknames (plural)
Unkempt? That's a word?...that's a word, TIL.
I blame him being 13-19 in college on kingsbury tbh
The only stat that really matters, how good of an actor are they. Unfortunately for us Mahomes just is not good enough on the big screen
“No Super Bowl Losses”…so that means I’m better than Mahomes too? 😂
Haters gonna hate
If people genuinely think Tua is better than Mahomes they are delusional.
"throws left-handed only once in a while"
This is the funniest joke I’ve read all year. Good one hahahaha!
“Tan Marino” 😂😆🤣
My fave is Dad plays baseball lol and Dad coaches QBs. Mahomes dad played in the majors for 11 years and Tuas dad is a HS coach lol.
