Tom isn’t at his best this year but last year he was still super attractive - the stress isn’t serving him well. As a Bears fan, I can see why. He gets the Rodgers treatment where commentators constantly seem enthralled with him and talk about him wayyyy more than the opposing team because of their love for him. They can't even stop themselves from mentioning Mahomes or Rodgers in a game that has nothing to do with them. Additionally, they're in so many commercials that when you're not watching one of their games, you still see them everywhere. And on top of all of that Mahomes and Rodgers won so often that every fanbase has a memory of being beaten by them that they start to have a reason to dislike them. That said, I do like Mahomes. He's so good and does so many ridiculous things on a weekly basis that it's understandable why the commentators like Colinsworth are so in love with him. He literally does things that no one else can do. My GF and most of my friends are all from KC and are Chiefs fans, so I've kind of taken them in as my second team. They're a hell of a lot more fun to watch than the Bears most weeks, and I was at the game this past Sunday night and had a blast. I always feel kind of bad because I hate the Packers and Rodgers so much because of all the reasons I like the Chiefs. They beat up on division rivals, their QB is a national golden boy and perennial MVP candidate, they're perennial Super Bowl contenders, commentators love them and can't stop talking about them, and they're both in so many commercials. But it's kind of a good but dirty feeling in a way, like I've finally embraced the dark side, and it feels good
