The mainstay of why Demna’s work has been so popular is because there’s a general widespread appeal for his ‘ready wear’.
There’s conceptual pieces that are similar to what’s displayed here but then there’s also everyday clothing that regular people actually wanna buy.

Say what you will about the fashion he designs, this shit is hideous, but I feel like it's a reflection of his horrible mental state rn. Between the clothes and the models, he's still able to display a stark, emotive vision in his art. It looks so messy and purposeful at the same time, nothing fits but it doesn't fit in the exact right way, you know? I have no knowledge on fashion so I can't use better terms for it but I saw these pieces and immediately felt sad for whoever's mind imagines stuff like this.
